It apperas it was just supposed to be the cool thing that season and he'll likely never do it again as he's moving on to different jutsus. I'd love to see him summon that great frog again as I'm sure he could probably do it with much more ease now.

Same goes for Temari and that cool ferret she summoned to kill that flute playing cursed seal thug.

I was thinking of this the other day in world of children where i get all my critical thinking done:o What do these summoned animals do in their free time do they smell? there was filler where Tsunade's slug was washed but it was filler. I think of it more like the spirit bomb,by the way your comparing. I think he will use it again, but only in select battles with Godzilla size opponents.
As we all know however the kai oken was never used again after the Freeza saga(aka after SSJ made it pointless.)

No. Goku never did the spirit bomb in his SSJ form canon wise. But eitherway the spritbomb is based off the strenth of others, so I don't think SSJ could make it stronger. But I do think Naruto will be able to do summoning better as he improves. Yes, I do believe that....er I think.

Yeah he was in SSJ form, but it didn't add to the power of the spiritbomb. It just gave him the strenth from stopping Majin Buu from throwing the spiritbomb back.
BTW:DBZ inspired most of Naruto, so it should be a welcome subject here. Yes I said that....um....heres a smiley face...:woot: ....*runs*

Ya, it was a great anime up until the 70 or so episodes of filler. Some still like it, but personally some have been kinda painful to watch lol. After February like stated above they'll come out with the Kakashi Gaiden and get back to the main story.

I wish they would have made some of that filler Naruto's training during the 3 year time jump. Make it similar to Goku training with King Kai or something, just show a taste of what Naruto had to go thru. Would be better IMO than the filler of Shino laughing.

I don't get how he can perform raikiri in both hands wouldn't he have to reperform the hand seal? I thought it had to be done in the case where sasuke did the chidori against gaara and used it again to get his hand out of the sand.

....but I'm just throwing this out there, I think Kakashi thinks faster than and can come up with a plan quicker than Shikimaru. Shikimaru may have an IQ over 200 but he tends to think too much during battle and slows himself down.

The best example I can think of was his bout with Tayuya he kept overestimating her abilities and taking far to long to asses the situation.

Not sure but thats the impression I got.

(keep in mind I haven't read part two so I don't know how much he improved.)

he didn't used any justu. He just threw the kunai and ran at him.. I mean.. it's obvious... he caught Hidan by conecting his own shadow with Hidan's. I mean, Kage mane is perhaps used effectivly by a close ranged fighter or taijutsu specialist who cares hell about himself and goes and attacks up close like Naruto. You don't have to strech your shadow if your shadow and your enemy's are pretty darn close and perhaps connected

You're talking about when Shika was pulling Hidan out of his ceremonial circle in chapter 325. You do realize just a few minutes before that. He was using the same technique just to hold the guy in place while Izumo and Kotetsu put a few kunais in him. He (Shika) could've still been exhausted from that **** & low on chakra. In the latest chapter Hidan says that his (Shika's) shadow jutsu last 5 minutes tops. Looking back at chapter 325. The 2 times he uses his shadow jutsu couldn't have been more than the 3-5 minutes apart. No time for Shika to recover to full chakra strength.

In chapter 325 ... basically the first attack was at full strength. Then 2nd was half-ass since he just used it a few minutes ago.

In chapter 336 ... first attack so it's at full strength.

It's the first time he's uses the shadow jutsu in this confrontation. So his chakra level is at full strength but it's fading with every passing minute. He has 5 mintues to find a isolated area just for him & Hidan & set **** up.

We saw that he can control his shadow to throw kunais in the chapter before. So that's probably how that all came to be. Infact it would be the only way. He and Hidan finally find a spot. Then Shika, using his shadow skills, sets up the exploding tags to imprison the 2 somewhat while still trying to hold Hidan in place.

If I remember right, the team were put togethger based on how smart and dumb he/she was. Basically the smartest kid was paired with the dumbest kid. Wow, I have no idea how well Shino would have done as all we can do is speculate but damn; Kiba showed the most heart out of all 5 kids. Short of Sasuke's "death" during the Haku fight, Kiba's "death" was one of the most intense scenes of the entire series. He and that damn dog are some courageous SOBs.

Shino was away with his father on a mission. He wasn't available during the Rescue Sasuke arc. Didn't you read the full aftermath of the failed mission?

And Kiba wasn't useless -- he occupied Ukon and Sakon from chasing Naruto and slowing him down.

I like the fact that through the Chuninin exam you have Naruto and company worried about a simple competition while the older ninja try to stop the distruction of village, Besides you did get to see Kakashi and Gai cut down 50 or so sound and sand ninja at the contest. It was pretty borring compared to the Sessihamaru vs the Third battle going on above, so realisim is nice but jutsu is far more fitting with Naruto's theme.

Naruto has that feeling, but not quite to that extreme. Wounds are bad, but not as bad as they necessarily would be in real life, like getting a Kunai in the back causing a small wound and a slight amount amount of blood and still being able to move, where in real life it might sever muscles or your spinal cord.

The one who needs to do something is Ino. I don't recall her doing jack**** in part 1. I believe her highlight moment in part 1 was the fight with Sakura during the Chuunin exam. So far in part 2 all we've seen is her use/do is that mind switch on a bird. Her & Ten Ten need to step their game up.

Yeah, she wasnt being controlled the whole time though. She did pretty fine on her own too. I really want to see a fighting session with sakura and naruto vs. tsunade and the other dude. I know they would get their @sses handed to them but still he would be a cool filler episode.

Well, you gotta remember, they DID use their curse seals level2(a power that rivals having a tailed beast inside you) to defeat the anbu. And the genin barely defeated their cursed sealed opponents. Neji got lucky and was able to press the points and seal the charkaras of one. Chouji had the pills to make his charkara 100times stronger. And the rest of the genin didn't even defeat their opponents. It took aid from the newly trained sand ninjas who were on a jonin level and one on a Kazekage level to finish them.

So these Tokubetsu specialize in one area on the level of a jounin? Their's must be losing to sound thugs:oldrazz: Ok so i have seen all of the episodes and read all of the manga. I just have a bad memory so i like to use terms such as thug or punk. I'm not sure if anyone read what i had put up earlier but all of my posts are meant for discussion until the next chapter comes up. I don't put any thought into what i am putting up. I guess what i was tryign to get is how Chouji and Neji were able to defeat their opponents having not even attained the rank of courier nin.

Here's my new discussion. why didn't Kakashi just use his mangekyo on the kakuzu thug to teleport his head off his body like he tried on deidara hand man? *Naruto and the others hear what’s gone on from the beginning. Sai and Sakura then follow Yamato and Kakashi’s orders and go to aid Shikamaru with the help of Pakkun.

Shikamaru: I don’t really wanna be forgiven by that sorta thing anyway.

*Hidan’s movements have been stopped by Shikamaru’s shadow

クナイで作った起爆札の結界の糸をたぐり寄せる
*Shikamaru uses his Kage-yose no Jutsu which pulls down the kunai and exploding tag wires by the wires' shadows.

飛段は起爆札でがんじがらめになる
*Hidan is then completely pinned down by the exploding tags and wire.

シカマルは地面につけてあった目印をクナイでうつと
大きな穴が飛段の下に広がった
*Shikamaru hits a mark that he had placed on the ground with a kunai, causing a giant hole to open up underneath Hidan.

「どういうことだ。いつのまにこんな」
Hidan: What is this? When did you manage…

「前もってここに仕掛けを準備してただけのことだ」
Shikamaru: I just set this up in advance is all.

(こいつ・・がむしゃらにオレら二人を引き離したん

Hidan (mental): This guy…wasn’t just recklessly trying to separate us. He was leading me here? If that the case then…all this was a part of his plan…!

Shikamaru picks up his cigarettes and says, “cursing people curses yourself” (literally cursing people makes two holes = if you wish for the misfortunes/death of others then you’ll also be digging your own grave/bringing about your own misfortune)

「お前はオレの師を呪い殺した」さらにタバコに火をつける
Shikamaru says, “you cursed my teacher and killed him” as he lights up his cigarette

それを見て飛段の顔が青ざめる補足をしとくと、この森はシカマルの一族しか
足を踏み入れない代々の土地であったようです
*As Hidan sees this he turns pale and then hears further that the he’s in Shikamaru’s clan’s ancestral land which only his clan can set foot on.

飛段がいうには首一つになっても、這い出して
見せるといいますが、シカマルは一族でそれを
させないと言います
*Hidan then says that even if he loses his head, he’ll still crawl out of this hole. Shikamaru then says that he and his clan won’t allow it.

まぁ、ラストは大体わかると思いますが今回は
見てのお楽しみということで
*Then the person writing the spoiler says that we can probably figure out what happens next so he’ll/she'll not spoil it and just leave us to enjoy the chapter when

Rumors til Studio Pierrot officially gives words that they aren't going to be doing it. :cmad:

I think somewhere down the line during the run of the animated version of Part 2. That they'll release it as a OVA or a movie. They might give a 1-2 episodes during that run. Because a single episode can cover about 2-5 manga chapters. So some type of a delay will need to be brought up to keep the manga a few steps ahead of the anime. I would've love to have seen it run before Part 2. But ****, it doesn't look like that'll happen. :cmad:
