Since we have no anime forum. I figured this would be a fair spot to place such topics. I'll start by saying this anime is a very solid one. It is an ongoing series in Japan and is currently unliscenced(which means it's okay to download). Here is an exerpt from the top subbing group of the series ANBU(Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai [Translated- Assassination and Tactics Specil Unit]):

In a concealed village, a young man hides among a bunch of leaves. His name is Uzumaki Naruto, a mischievous boy attending Ninja Academy.

Everyday, he does nothing but cause mischief and make Iruka-sensei mad. And above all, it's doubtful that he'll be able to graduate from the Academy. But Naruto dreams that one day he'll become the head of the Leaf village, following the steps of the Hokage and becoming the best ninja around.

However, all the adults in the village give Naruto cold looks. The truth is, Naruto has a secret about his birth. 12 years ago, "Kyuubi no Youko" (Nine Tailed Fox - A kind of evil spirit who terrorized the village was sealed within Naruto's body who was, at the time, a baby. Though I most humbly assure you this is merely the beginning as the storyline begins to grow and eventually will come to spiral into a culmination of art and beaty. Naruto is a long ongoing series and many of the episodes will leave you in tears. This is how touching the series can be. There are even moments when you will begin to pity those who have been deemed villans.

I haven't really been able to find a reason to like Shino. But both Itachi and Gaara are awesome. And I think Shikamaru doesn't get nearly enough recognition.
I like Shino's unique abilities and detached personality and Shikamaru doesn't get enough air time. I liked Shino so much I based my character's abilities in the Hype RPG off of his. If I were a powered up Ninja, Shino is one of the few hands down I could not fight even if he were more powerful.

Sasuke has come to disappoint me quite a bit. I've never left Naruto's corner and I've yet to be truly disappointed.

My theory is that Naruto is the fourths son, and the reason the Fourth was late to the battle with Kyuubi was because he was spending some last time with his son.

Also thinkg about when Orochimaru used Edo Tensei, the symbols on the coffins were 1, 2 and 4. How could the fourth be in there AND be Naruto?

I have to agree with this one. Naruto may share looks and personality traits with [ spoiler]the 4th[/spoiler] but Gamma's theory seemed mroe feesable.

Remember though, the fourth intended for him to be viewed as a hero. The villagers simply feared what they didn't understand (as is human nature). Even if they were told he was the Fourth's son, they would still view him the same because in their eyes he IS the Kyuubi, not it's container.

THINK about it for a second. If you knew you were going to die, what would you do? I know I would want to spend some last time with my family. He wanted to spend some last time with his son before they were seperated forever.

I see no "plotholes", how the **** is that a plothole? We don't know how much time passed between Naruto's birth and the attack by the nine-tails. For all we know he only took 5 extra minutes, we don't know how long he was there.

He sealed him in his son to protect him. The thought was probably "I can't be here to protect you, so I'll give you something to protect yourself".

As for his mother, half the kids in the village have no parents. Any number of things could have happened to her.

ya naruto is awsome. i first saw the manga in an issue of shoen jump i have. i read it and was like WTF? this is crazy. then a few months later a friend in my anime club brought a disk w/ the first 4 eps burnt on it. and they were all subbed. so from there on hes been burning all the new eps and ive been watching them. but some guy in my club has been barrowing them b4 me so im almost 10 or so eps behind. i got up to ep 94 i belive. the guy whos barrowing them either keeps 4getting to bring them back or he doesnt come to club gahh..i need my naruto fix!!!!

First off, you don't know for a fact that you HAVE to touch your opponent to use that move, think of all the different ways moves can be used, we've only seen it used ONCE by ONE person.

Think about what we've seen of when the fourth used it, he was really far away from the nine-tails and the death god summoning looked very different. It looked like a blast of light hitting it from across the village.

Do you honestly believe he was able to physically hold onto the ninetails long enough to pull out it's soul without it beating him with one of it's tails or shaking him off?

Also THINK about this, the third was able to execute this technique and hold Orochimaru's soul for a long ****ing time, and thats with a friggin sword through his mid section, you're telling me that the fourth (who was not only far stronger than the third, but INVENTED this move) couldn't have held the soul long enough for the frog boss to rush him back to wherever naruto was? Keep in mind we don't know how far away he was.

And who said he LEFT his comrades? He didn't LEAVE the battlefield, he never showed up. Think about what the ninjas said "hold it here until the fourth arrives". They were waiting for him, he stayed to spend some final time with his family.

Here is a question for you, if the fourth was reincarnated after using that technique, why isn't there an infant reincarnation of the third with the first and second hokages inside him?

Pay attention to what the third says, those who use this technique SPEND ETERNITY IN THE DEATH GODS STOMACH. That means the Fourth is in his stomach forever, he WASN'T REINCARNATED.

Don't hold your breath. The show has to get lisenced by a company first and they it has to be dubbed and shipped over. Neither of which has happened(thankfully). Your best bet is to download them while it is legal.

You mean like I do? Yeah don't burn it as a video DVD, burn it as information. Storage. You can't watch them in DVD players but you can hold more episodes.

a recordable dvd playe and a noarmal one isn't a divx dvd player. The naryot files you've got are Xvid (like most thiins downlaoded off the net), so you need a player capable of playing it. Thankfully you can get one for like £50 off amazon. Or just get a modded xbox

And so I did the same yesterday for 114. (Which was a great episode.)

ANBU-AonE's curretn translation style bothers me. As I said in a few posts elsewhere. I don't care to read Japanese, especially if I don't know the English meaning. Were it not for the fact I memorized some sounds; many of the techniques would've been lost to me.
Kage no Jutsu for one. I just remembered its sound roughly meant Shadow Replication due to the 111 episodes I saw beforehand. I would find it more acceptable if at the top they put a little explanation of what it means.

Also the fact that it took them 2 weeks to make an announcement for 112 and a week to post 113 is really frustrating.

Ever since Crustol left it has gone downhill for me. Were it not for the fact that DB translations are drek; I would consider switching over.

It is very hard to believe but it has been almost 3 months since we have seen normal Naruto action. The Kakashi Gaiden was 6 chapters long, taking up a month and a half of our time. This was followed by one month of waiting, for a total of two and a half. I think we proved we are resiliant, having lasted this entire time of no Naruto manga without a single casualty. The Naruto gods are once again testing our patience however, putting the Naruto anime that is ever so close to catching up with the manga on hold. We will not be seeing Episode 120 of the series entitled: Roar! Howl! The Ultimate Dog - until February the 2nd. I can't help but think the series may be put on hold for a whole season (26 weeks) soon, or we will be seeing a bunch of filler episodes. I know they don't want to catch up to the manga completely. There are 247 chapters in the Manga... episode 119 is chapter 202. Around 1 anime equals about 4-5 chapters. So you estimate there are around 10-15 episodes left... Also the manga comes out weekly as well; usually.

This is my estimates though. There are probably more episodes to go but the anime has caught up to the manga quite fast.

It's an issue of translation. A friend of mine tried convincing me dattebayo was fine. I had him sit down and watch 122 back to back by both groups. The first words out of his mouth were "ANBU-AonE is noticeably better." Those who try to claim dattebayo is just as good are usually trying to justify their impatience by going for the group who release quicker.

That maybe true, I just didn't think it was as good as it could have been. The horror Gai suggested Lee would become just from drinking a sip, gave the impression that drinking an entire bottle would turn him into some sort of unstoppable monster.

Some of the moves were cool, but for the most part I just wasn't impressed.
