Well, Telepathy works on The Juggernaut, and he's just about as invulnerable as you can get. Superman can't compare, same with Bion or Validus or Mangog, I'd say Juggy's tougher. But hey, Omega Beams, Teleportation Tricks (Into pieces...) Stuff like that. Just restrian them. Even Validus can't break out of Inertron...

well its the fun of writing isnt it. ill try my best to write something completely inbelievable unlikely but so long as its corny and funny then i might pull it off.

Winning doesn't mean eradicating your opposition. You can disable them, knock them out or just take them out of the fight in a way that they cannot fight back. If at least one of your team is standing at the end of the match and anyone from the opposing team can't do anything about it...you would win.

Don't psyche yourself about it before hand. Put your mind on what YOUR team can do and exploit that.

Well, Warrior isn't too too bad. I mean, really, he gets beaten up by Batman or Wildcat, no ring, which is almost excusable.

it just seems so organized with all the pictures on the side and you can go to locations, teams, and all that jazz! Marvel Directory is good too but i think it needs some updates but i guess i only really need to know some history and the powers which they have but i dont like looking at old pictures that are kinda faded, i am a current type of a guy lol

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been around this week, but I just got out of the hospital.


Yeah. The hospital. Some crackhead slammed into my car going 65 and I got a concussion. I was in the hospital for 10 days. Really gassy food too. The truth of the matter is, I wasn't coherant for about 5 of those days.

I'm sorry I didn't get to post a starting lineup for this week or a write up. I'm heading there now to see how the week went. At least I had a power lineup the week before.

Anywho sorry again. I'm gonna be allright but it was kinda scary there for a bit.

1. Dtl update (http://superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=125148), this thread shows
a.)your line-up
b.)your record
c.)the schedule
d.)where the location is that we are fighting(located next to the schedule week)

2. if you spend lets say...
a.)1 < hour on the hype boards, then you don't wanna join
b.)2 hours on the hype boards, you'll probly struggle getting up-to-date with what has been decided durring your absence(2 or more votes maybe going at once)
c.)3 or more hours on the hype boards, you should do just fine

3. if you want to join the DTL you should consider...
a.)your comic knowledge, both dc and marvel(amalagams are also allowed)
b.)that there are some pretty knowledgable comicers out there(JH,X,Guyver,etc...)

4. there can only exist at one time 2 version of any character(example: NightCrawler and NightCrawler(AoA) and no more)

5. the limit to your match roster is 5 characters
a.) 1-MarvelUber,1-DcUber,1-Medium,1-MarvelRegular,1-DcRegular(one of them has to be female)
b.) at anytime you can downgrade your Uber or Medium position

another thing you might want to consider is the people you pick up. master stratigists are a must. if you do not have a team leader, someone to step up an lead(must be in character) then you are doomed to fail. another major must is diversity. if you only have one kind of attack on your team, then the team that you are facing(like me) may have a scientist that can build something that will nullify your attack

SM, sorry to sound pushy but theres a lot of ground that needs to be covered just to get you ready for next week:(

off time = you can trade anyone on your team for any available character as long as you can make the match requirements. line-ups are due be wednesday at midnight

write-up time = these are days perfered to have your write-ups in(starting at 1pmEST Thursday).these are days that you can not trade the people on your line-up but you can trade anyone else on your team for available characters.

voting = same rules as right up time but everyone can put in there 2cents an votes are due by monday at 1pm EST(may have to ask someone i'm not too sure)

our schedule is
mon,tues, wed - off time
thurs, fri - write-up time
sat, sun - voting

there is also debatting your write-ups... someone may not agree with how you see the match an ask you how it is possible or they may prove a point against what you have done an you may... dam it, its a debate:rolleyes:

Straightening himself out and talking mockingly, PsiMon: I am the Almighty Silence, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, EVEN, EVEN STRYFE!!! HAHAHAHAHA

Approaching hastily and pissed forcing himself within centimeters of PsiMons face, Stryfe: How dare you!!! As if working with the good guys weren't bad enough?!

Now more serious, still with a smerk, PsiMon: No blood, no foul. Besides, you won...

Perking one side of his lips, Stryfe: All is forgiven for now, PsiMon, this time. But one thing you must know is that I will not take orders from anyone.

Starts to pace, PsiMon: OK now, we have 2 very powerful minds, 2 very inteligent minds.

Acting cute pointing at herself, Shimmer: What about me PsiHone???

PsiMon: One step at a time. Yes it was all a lie, The Almight Silence, the thing about us being champions, and USA being the only super power in the world. We are not champions now, but with us and another 5 memebers of this team we shall rise victorious over our adversaries.

Choosing to ignor the rest of what has to be said Gorilla Grodd leaves the room unnoticed.

PsiMon: As for how we get our information for each match. Since I am no longer "Acting Almighty Silence" then it will be downloaded into Forge's office so we can view it on the holographic projector.

And so the planning began... Overloading Prometheus' helmet with radio information, denied. Ripping off EVERYONES HEADS(PsiMon and Stryfe loved the idea), denied. Then finally after everyone had eventually became located into different rooms after pondering for a good length of time...

Calling everyone to the office/labratory, Gorilla Grodd: I was concentrating on the information that Flash has downloaded into Forges computer from the JLA Watchtower. Prometheus can download information directly into his brain via cd rom built in his helmet. My best guess would be that Prometheus would be in the Titans computer room. I researched this file deeper, finding out that this Steel, he was able to take control an destroy Prometheus' helmet from a small distance. I took the liberties of isolating the frequency, but just like Steel, you'll have to be in close range.

A light springs on in Forges head, Forge: Ofcourse, I'll get right on dulpicating it...

Gorilla Grodd firmly places his hand on Forges chest, Gorilla Grodd: Insignificant human, why would I summon you all here, if all I was going to do is tell you how to take him down? I've already duplicated the frequency into a cd. Shimmer will be teleported to the computer room to wait on Prometheus. She will have to have some sort of protection from his missiles.

Shimmer: I can take care of that

Rolling his eyes, Gorilla Grodd: I figured you would. After you protct yourself from his missiles you need to incase him in something that will keep him still. Place this cd in the cd rom, located next to his left ear. This will download Shard into his head, needless to say he won't be himself after that.

Feeling embarrassed, Forge goes on about how he will then need Polaris to be outside if he is to take her down. As the night wears off the team is ready for the upcomming battle. See you there...

Location: Titans Tower - San Fransico, California

Teleporting onto the island, Gorilla Grodd, Forge, Stryfe, and PsiMon arrive outside as Shimmer is placed in the computer room

Quickly but silently to Stryfe, PsiMon: Shield us from them, don't forget Shimmmer.

Shimmer patiently waits in the corner of the computer room. Suddenly Prometheus comes bolting in to the computer room and instantly starts typing away for information.

Stryfe: Prometheus is in there with her. She gonna try to sneak up on him...

Shimmer: Well, well, well... You are the eager lil pussy cat aren't you.

Startled he darts around finding his target an hasteily firing his missiles. Shimmer forms a protective barrier a foot in front of her, intercepting the missiles and allowing her to advance even closer towards him.

Cocky, Shimmer: Your little toys won't harm me, looky what I have...

Showwing the cd to Prometheus

Prometheus: I don't know whats on that cd, but I'm about to downlaod the Titans computer files and I, well, you better hope you not on there.

Luaghing, Shimmer: O, I know I'm on there, but you just made a mistake. You see I have a limited range on my powers, you just became My Little Toy...

Instead of using the cd like she was directed to do, Shimmer turns his heart into stone and as he falls to the ground...

Grinning, Shimmer: You see right now your heart is stone and with nothing to pump blood to your brain, Your Dead

Laughing, Stryfe: I didn't know the girl had it in'r.

Braggingly, PsiMon: O yea, thats my girl.

Ubjecting, Forge: NO BODY NEEDS TO DIE HERE!!![b]

Stryfe: Shut up, your here to nullify Polaris

Waiting impatienctly, Forge: Are we gonna get this over with or not?! I want to get back to the base so I can forget this ever happened.

Stryfe chuckles after hearing his words, thinking to himself "You shall suffer today also...". Forcing Polaris and Speedball out of the Tower, blocking Adam from following. Robbie Baldwin changing into Speedball form on the way down...

Steadily, Stryfe: I still have ourselves blocked from Adam, but I'm sure he'll have conjured up something pretty soon. So zap the girl and Gorilla will take care of the boy.

Unwillingly Forge shoots Polaris cancelling out her powers, deeming her useless. Already in his Speedball form Gorilla bashes him into the tower. On his way back Gorilla gets ready for another assualt.

PsiMon: Thats ok, I got'm.

Hitting the invisible wall, blocking him from seeing what happened to his partners Adam Worlock doesn't have a target to fire a bolt at. Suddenly the whole tower starts to shake...

Yeah. The hospital. Some crackhead slammed into my car going 65 and I got a concussion. I was in the hospital for 10 days. Really gassy food too. The truth of the matter is, I wasn't coherant for about 5 of those days.

Only had one appearance as of now (Betta Ray Bill #1) but still, we've got enough past material to go on. Just a general announcement and question to my opponents in Week 6 and Week 7.

primemover and Ahura Mazda, I would like to ask you to not do a write-up in those weeks. I will be on a ten-day vacation at the time, and thus miss both matches. If you would like to do a write-up, that is fine by me, but I would like it if those weeks would be purely based on the teams. I will post my lineups for those two weeks on tuesday the 15th of February, and will than no longer change. Yeah, pretty much easy pickings than.

I guess you have every right to ask . . . personally I don't think someone should have to forgo doing a writeup just because their opponent is on vacation. Because what if someone doesn't have that great a team on paper, but they know how to use them really well? Maybe they would win if you both did writeups, but by letting it be decided on line-up alone they're giving up a victory.

Personally, I think busy weeks where you can't get a writeup in are just part of the game.

Personally, I think busy weeks where you can't get a writeup in are just part of the game.

I don't know what the big deal is with people being too busy. Once I know the lineup I have it going constantly in my head thinking up possible results, Obviously sometimes this is way further to the back of my mind. And then when I have a few spare minutes at work (Cause that's where I do most of my internetting) I do my writeup, I keep the screen up and wrok on it as I have time but it really only takes 30 or 40 minutes of internet time.

I thought about taking over The Atomics, but I have some reservations. I always thought the DTL was a cool idea, but frankly all of you guys totally outclass me in terms of comic knowledge. I'm all right on Marvel, but I don't know a damn thing about 95% of DC characters. And although Eli's told me about stuff and sometimes feeds me books to read, I haven't read comics with any regularity in almost 10 years. I would need a LOT of help in order to be effective at all. Would you guys be willing to coach a noob?

I realize there may be concern with, ahem, conflicts of interest... I PMed JB and he had no problems as long as both Eli and I vote fairly on each other. Elijya WOULD probably be giving me the most help, but then he's also physically present here. If a lot of people think it'd be too iffy, I'm cool with that, I'll go back to lurking.

if time is tight (which it usually is) I skim the write ups of the other teams in my set.

and everyone provides links or write ups of their characters, so if you don't know a character, you can learn (or ask) precisely what they do. HEll, we all may know lots of characters, but I bet everyone here has to find more out about at least one character on their opponents team every match

I say go for it. Look at it this way -- even if you aren't that great at it at first, you'll still be better than no one, which is who's running the team right now.

Anyway, people are generally happy to help each other out. A lot of people on here knew one universe much better coming in, but have learned a lot about the other one just from participating and reading all the writeups. Even if you're going up against someone, they usually won't mind telling you all about their characters -- after all, they don't want you to inadvertently portray their characters as weaker than they really are.

By the way, I brought up conflict of interest earlier when Elijya was saying he was going to invite you to vote, but I was confused -- I thought he meant he was brining in someone who wasn't already on the site. I don't see any conflict -- I mean, we already have two members who are sharing a house (Hobbit and AS), so that's nothing new.

Speaking from experience: I lurked in the DTL for a while, they were in the Marvel Boards then, and after a while even got into the voting. A little bit after the half of the Season was when someone dropped out and I was allowed to get the team. It can sometimes be a bit more work than fun, but it's worth it if you're really into it. There's a lot of drama (that's why I changed my sig), but it's understandable since it's a competition.

But as you go you'll learn about the rest. It's easiest to just take it week by week. Figure out who you're facing next and study those characters. But anyway,.. you can vote just fine as long as you're fair about it. We have no way of knowing if you are being fair or not but it's a gentleman's game so we apply the trust factor. AnnoyingSilence and I are brother-in-laws and live in the same house with our wives and kid(s) and we both vote fairly. I usually actually like AS's stuff but if he ends up sucking or not doing as well against his opponant I'll vote against him in a heartbeat,.. and he I. You just can't allow favortism to get in the way and you can't let yourself get upset if Elijya were to vote against you,.. it is just a game afterall.

In regards to the prologues, frosting on the cake pretty much. I for example really like to actually write my characters, and do more in that regard then anything else.

I'll also gladly help you out to great extents, no problem. I think I'm extremely knowledgable (Geeky :up: :() and if there isn't somerhing I know off the top of my head, I'll research it for ya, get you a bio, scan some stuff, all that. I mean, I'm not going to hold your hand, not that you'd expect it, just saying. I'll help. :)

I think it's time to give Movies the boot. I mean, he *****ed about hit team, got in, hasn't done anything. Seriously, lets weed the ****ing DTL out. Skill doesn't matter, there are some people in here that are, you know, meh... But I don't mind... As long as I actually have somebody to write something against! We need to at least have a good majority of active, knowledgable people in this thing however... I know I'm friggin psyched about going against Hobbit, really looking forward to it. I know that for strength it was used for a while if someone reached a certain amount of tons they could press then they would be reg/med or uber. As for the rest it's mostly like X says, comparing them with already ranked characters or their feats in comics. JB and X are the ones that do most of the ranking, JB has the final word. If other people feel they know the character or have a difference of opinion they're free to voice it. Sometimes I get TOO free with the voicing. :D If you have any ranking requests do it in the "trades, transactions and front office moves thread", it might get lost in this one (also it's SUPPOSED to be in that thread).

4StringFox: The next week begins this Thursday at 1:00 PM EST, so if you want to try and get things in order for this week you can.
The classes for each character, as X said, are basically decided by their power level and the like. For examples, see the Rosters in the DTL Update thread.
You can basically get any character you want, provided they aren't too Uber (Galactus, Spectre, Celestials, etc), they're from either Marvel or DC, and that you will be able to field a legal starting lineup when it's all said and done.

Your starting lineup each week is made up of 5 characters from your roster, and the template for a legal starting lineup is as follows:
1 Marvel Uber character
1 DC Uber character
1 Marvel Regular character
1 DC Regular character
1 Marvel or DC Middleweight character
And at least 1 of those 5 must be a female character.

Now, you can downgrade a class spot all you want. For example, if you want to place a Regular character in place of a Middleweight you can. Or, if you wish, you can put an extra Middleweight or Regular in place of one of your Ubers. The point is that you can downgrade all you want. Just no upgrading.

The other 5 characters that you don't use durring a week are your reserves. Unlike the starting lineups, there is no class restrictions for your reserve characters; you could have 5 Ubers, 5 Middleweights, 5 Regs, etc. So, your reserves can be any class you want, just as long as you'd be able to field a legal starting lineup each week.
Also, one thing to keep in mind is that you must play a total of 10 characters durring the regular season, so make sure you get reserves who you won't have any qualms about using.

The classes for each character, as X said, are basically decided by their power level and the like. For examples, see the Rosters in the DTL Update thread.

if you want a non moving one, here's what you do

find a picture that you would like to have as your avatar, save it to your computer, and either cut it down or reduce it's size till it's 50x50 pixels. Then, go to www.photobucket.com, start a free account, upload teh picture from your computer to be hosted there. Now that the image is hosted on the internet, you can take it's URL and set it as your avatar


if you want a moving one, find the pics you want, and PM them to either CConn or The Amazing Lee, and tell them what you want specificly. they'll make it for you, and send it back.

That's pretty much the case. I don't think he has as fine control as Mags, but he has raw power. He's one of GL's former arch-villains so that should be an indication to his power level.

Mon-El (DCU) Think Superman without the Kryptonite invulnerability, lead is his vulnerability but he was given a serum that takes it away and even allows him to retain his powers under a red sun. He also has standard Legion equipment and resources. He originally came from our centur and worked with L.E.G.I.ON. so he has a kick ass resources and knowledge.

Andromeda (DCU)(F)-Think Supergirl in the future. She's the descendant of Mon-El. She also took the serum. She's limited to Legion resources (30th century only) and equipment.

Jesse Quick (DCM?)(F)-She's a speedster that uses a formula to run fast. Jonny Quick's daughter. The way her father and her use speed allow them to fly. Regarding what Tropico said earlier about Kylun: I really can't agree with him enough. Having an effective defense against magic is absolutely crucial for a team, in my opinion, since we've got punks like JB around who'll just sit back and have their magic uber tear up your whole team! :mad: ;)

Besides Kylun, other people who can disable magic completely, thus making them extremely effective even against uber magic users, are Proctor (MR) (who's taken by me :p), Magik (MR) (who's free and female), Aquaman (DM) (who's taken), and, of course, other magic users.

He is but he's also got a set of mystical swords that can cut through magical stuff.

Proctor (or any version of any Black Knight, really) has the Ebony Blade, which can not only dispel magic but also absorb magical or any other kind of energy.

Magik's got her Soulsword, which only works on magical stuff. I don't think it'll even cut a person if it hits them, although I do remember reading something about it being able to absorb souls. Not sure though.

Aquaman's Waterbearer hand can dispel magic. It seems to work indirectly too. He once touched Tempest's trident, which was only the focal point for Tempest's inherent magical ability, to break a spell that Tempest had used to turn Aquaman and himself into fish.

His blades are magic proof and he's good enough to deflect beams directed at him. His fighting prowess is good enough to take multiple (as in a crowd) of opponents at once. The magical Blades of ZZ'ria can cut through anything except the good hearted. He's cut through Sentinels like nothing. His lame sound mimicking power is good enough to imitate a Sentinel's voice so that another Sentinel doesn't detect it's a fake. Thanks all for help so far :D This is mostly just bouncing stuff around, I might keep the whole damn lineup, who knows.

I'm not looking for an all-female team, but I do notice people with only one or two females. I want more flexibility for my team so I don't have to worry about "aw man I wanna play him but then I'd have 5 guys, I guess I have to use her instead"

Roma is Merlin's daughter and has been shown to have very similar powers. If I remember right some issue of Excalibur said that she actually functioned as both herself and him for a while after he faked his death. If Merlin's legal she's definitely legal.

Honestly, next to some of the other Ubers, I don't see why Magus is too uber. I was going to bring up the points about Drax and Gladiator about mashing and breaking stars. Magus would be adversely affected by electricity (in one of Warlock's first appearances he got electrocuted and was incapacitated for a while), by anything that specifically affects machines or computers, and possibly by magnetism though that's a tough call. He heals via the biotechnological virus, which does take a little time (enough to have an effect on a battlefield), as does increasing his size or mass. So there are defined weaknesses. Also, in Magus's own first (maybe second) appearance, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Rogue managed to cause him enough damage to make him decide to call off the fight.. that's what, a reg and two meds beating up on an Uber enough to make him think "hmm maybe this isn't the best idea" ? Granted I don't remember many details of the fight, whether they used any tech or if they just pounded on him.

He's got magic, psionics, tech, and fighting ability. Basically some of everything except that he does NOT have any manner of superhuman strength, endurance, or senses. The second source claims that his suit gives him superhuman strength, but I think this writer inferred that from Yellow Claw having fought Cap in hand to hand several times. I don't recall him performing any particular feats of strength, although I could be mistaken.

He's got magic, psionics, tech, and fighting ability. Basically some of everything except that he does NOT have any manner of superhuman strength, endurance, or senses. The second source claims that his suit gives him superhuman strength, but I think this writer inferred that from Yellow Claw having fought Cap in hand to hand several times. I don't recall him performing any particular feats of strength, although I could be mistaken.

Regarding what Tropico said earlier about Kylun: I really can't agree with him enough. Having an effective defense against magic is absolutely crucial for a team, in my opinion, since we've got punks like JB around who'll just sit back and have their magic uber tear up your whole team! :mad: ;)

Besides Kylun, other people who can disable magic completely, thus making them extremely effective even against uber magic users, are Proctor (MR) (who's taken by me :p), Magik (MR) (who's free and female), Aquaman (DM) (who's taken), and, of course, other magic users.

Comic Bio

A Saturn-sized (presumably meaning volume) highly-metallic, and waterless planet, Cybertron was entered by the demigod Primus during a desperate attempt to lure his nemesis Unicron into a trap. Eventually, Primus found himself able to psionically shape the elements of the planet. Realizing that Unicron could do likewise, Primus decided to build himself an army to battle Unicron: the Transformers. In addition, he instilled a part of his life-force into the Creation Matrix, which he gave to his new creations. In an effort to buy time for his army, Primus then shut himself down so Unicron wouldn't be able to find them.

The Cybertronian Civil Wars broke the line that Primus created, and caused the planet Cybertron to fling out of its orbit around Alpha Centauri. In the years that followed, Cybertron passed through the Sol system and deposited a number of Autobots and Decepticons onto the planet Earth. 4 million years later, the Decepticons on Earth established contact with Cybertron. The Autobots did so as well, but only years after their enemies did. The Decepticons also managed to link the two planets via an interdimensional spacebridge, which allowed physical travel between the two worlds. Eventually, both parties would come to invent alternatives to spacebridge travel.

During a battle between Decepticon Pretenders and several Autobots, a stray shot from Octopunch (which bounced off of Grimlock's armor) hit Primus deep inside Cybertron, causing him to scream. Unicron heard this and immediately headed for Cybertron. A Galvatron from an alternate future was sent to Cybertron by Unicron to destroy the Matrix, but he rebelled and instead convinced Unicron to recall all the Transformers back to Cybertron. Primus agreed and possessed the body of Emirate Xaaron. During the battle with Unicron, Primus (in the body of Xaaron) was destroyed, and his life-force (from the Matrix) emptied inside of Unicron. This caused the planet to initiate a series of tremors that convinced the survivors that the planet was self-destructing. In truth, it was merely undergoing growing pains which needed the help of the Last Autobot to remedy. He did so, and the Autobots took control of Cybertron.

Cybertronian Law: At one point, Grimlock mentioned a trial of grievance to Fortress Maximus, who noted with distaste its anachronism, but admitted to its validity. In short, when two Autobots disagreed on something, a duel between the two (or their champions) settled the matter. Weapons were allowed.

Major Cities/Locations:

* The smelting pool: A Decepticon torture pit used by Decepticon Commander Lord Straxus where Autobots and Decepticon traitors were cast into a pool of molten metal to melt away.
* Autobase: The center of the Autobot Rebellion. Severely damaged when Galvatron attacked it in 1991.
* Chamber of Primus: Home of Primus and his "Keeper" hidden in the vast tunnels of Cybertron. Both Primus and the Keeper are currently dead.
* Fuel auditing station: Home of Fuel Auditor Ratbat, located near the spacebridge.
* Spacebridge: An interdimensional bridge. Spacebridge use ceased when it was replaced with a more efficient teleportation system.

but saturn size? if the planet was saturn sized, earth would have been toast when they did this do to the gravity

yes to the first question. And you have only have one uber, than your mediums have to each be form a different company

Yes, they're still available.

As long as you can have a legal starting lineup it doesn't matter what class your reserves are.
You can only replace an Uber spot with a Middleweight or Regular from the same company as the Uber spot you are replacing.
For instance, you could only replace your DC Uber spot with another DC character.

The medium spot is the only one that's left as a wildcard, meaning that it can be from either company and can even be downgraded to a reg if you so choose. All this information I've provided you is for the battle team. Your "away" team, the ones you're not using for battle, can be composed of whatever ranks and companies you want.

And regarding Yellow Claw...how powerful of a sorcerer is he?

The only other sorcerer he's ever fought that I know of was the Mandarin, and he pretty much handed Mandarin his asz, but Claw rarely uses magic in a purely offensive form. He is a master hypnotist (can induce normal people to do things they wouldn't normally) and illusionist, can teleport short distances (probably 50 yards), and has brought people back from the dead (although it requires a lengthy ceremony). He can also correctly use magical devices (most commonly a crystal ball of the typical surveillance camera variety).

Yeah, I loved X-Men 2099. Great thing about Junkpile (as you know, but maybe others don't) is if he's in a technological environment (like Cybertron) he just keeps automatically repairing his injuries with whatever's lying around. Pretty hard to take out (unless you vaporize him or something.)

Yeah, I wouldn't ever think of using him (Junkpile) if the weeks battle were in, say, the Savage Land.

I liked Skullfire too (plus his real name was Tim, right?). Although I think if I was gonna get an energy-rechanneler I would probably choose Bishop over Skullfire, because of his combat training. Plus, didn't Skullfire's power just let him tap into electrical energy? Whereas Bishop can use pretty much any energy.
