Christopher Nolan to direct sequels of Batman Begins ? Or a new director for the next movies ?

In my opinion, I'll love seeing a trilogy directed by Chris. I think he can pull out many other great stories from Batman and I'll love to see him handling Two-Face and The Joker.

And you.....? :cyclops:

i think this movie is gonna be excellent. i think as long as nolan dosnt feel alot of pressure from the studios, and is alloud to do what he wants to do, i think he will do just fine with the sequels, just as long as in one of the sequels they debut the new and improved shark repellant bat-spray!!!jk

Nolan is the only way to go. The man has reinvented Batman movies and Warner seem to trust him enough

Sorry for dragging up this old thread (as I've been doing with quite a few old threads... I only pick out the interesting ones... I'm not out to raise my post count, I swear! http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/redface1.gif )

But I thought it spoke nicely of our confidence in Nolan. The movie isn't even out yet and he gets a 100% approval rating! http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/icon14.gif I wonder if now there will be any no votes... there clearly weren't in 2004. Maybe people's minds have slightly changed since then?

PS: is it me or is that Guyverjay's avatar not nearly as hypnotic as you'd expect it to be? I mean, every time I get an eyeful of BK's avatar (the bubble butt as he calls it) (http://www.superherohype.com/forums/image.php?u=13177&dateline=1110837325), I'm stuck mesmerised by it for like 5 minutes... this one leaves oddly cold. Maybe that says something about the kinda guy I am... http://www.superherohype.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif

My fear is that BB doesnt do ultra mega huge bucks like the WB wants it too and they bring in someone or ask Nolan "lighten" things up. This would just start the h*** we went through before. I'd rather they just do one movie rather than go down that dark path again.

What kind of question is this?

OF COURSE I WANT CHRIS NOLAN TO DIRECT THE SEQUEL(s) who wouldn't?????

He saved and resurrected a DEAD Franchise of my favorite superhero and did in a way that gave it such respect and dignity that all such and any ignominities against any previous Batman movies was wipe away from my mind and the generally public .

Mr. Nolan has my eternal gratitude for 'Batman Begins' that even if he slips up a bit on the sequel(s) (which generally is never as good as the first movie) I will defend him with my last breath.
