Batman in Smallville

I hope I am the first to mention this. If not then Sorry.
I just think it would be cool if a Weenie Dog made an appearance in Smallville for a few episodes. What do you guys think?

That's what I want to see the most in Smallville and the producers have mentioned they want it too. The thing is I think they only can do it if the Warner Bros. film division let's them (like with the Lois Lane character).
In the new graphic novel Superman/Batman: Public Enemies written by Jeph Loeb who is working in Smallville as well, there's a cool segment called "When Clark met Bruce" that would be cool to use with Clark and Pete playing baseball (or basketball in the show's case) and they see a sad kid near a limousine with a flat tire that Alfred is changing. Clark thinks of asking him to play with them but Pete says no, etc but Clark can't stop looking at him, etc
Just that cool cameo would be great, or to have them passing by at Lex's mansion where Lex and Bruce had a business meeting.
An adventure of both of them would be cool too but that would probably be too much.

I believe the network executives were going to play on the whole Lex regaining his memory thing and possibly slip in a flashback about some Business prep school where Lex attended and we would catch a fleeting glimpse of Mr. Wayne..perhaps. I've no doubt that they want to do it..merge it somehow. However I'm more then willing to bet that they're going to wait till the next batman movie comes out and then possibly start a series similar to smallville baised on the popularity of the movie.

I wish the WB would just pony up and make the Bruce Wayne version of Smallville that they were going to do before doing Smallville. They were going to do a Bruce Wayne show like Smallville it would have focused on his early days training to become Batman.

Before 3rd season starting, the producers we're somewhat teasing people on the net saying that Bruce Wayne might appear in the 3rd season. Now that the season's done, it obviously wasn't true, but I'd like to see Bruce in an episode in 4th season.
