The Worst movie you've ever seen

I was watching Charlie's Angels Full Throttle and I realized that was the worst movie I have ever experienced... Now even though I was home and I could have easily changed the channel I wanted to show enough self control to watch it through to have a fair judgement on this movie... well again I have to say that movie blew donkey B_ALLS....

I thought The Blair Witch Project was positively terrible and a waste of my time. I also wasn't too happy with Solaris, Jeeper's Creepers, or any of the Nightmare on Elm Streets & Friday the 13th's after like the second ones. Though, Freddy vs. Jason wasn't too bad.

I saw this late one night on HBO........it was the most horrendous thing I'd ever seen. I'd definitely put that way up there as far as bad movies go. :o Caddyshack 1 is one of my favorite films, but as far as the sequel---I don't think if I've ever been that bored by any other movie. ;)

Now I'll grant you, that was pretty damned bad. I'd love to see the MST3K crew get hold of that one.... but it was made with the intention of being stupid, so I'm not really sure it qualifies. How can a chick who weighs 95 lbs. soaking wet star in a porno?! There's nothing there to see, just a ribcage where you can count every rib! That is erotic?! It was ridiculous, there was like, one decent-looking woman in the whole movie. I am not even a guy and I think this is stupid.

There the other half and I sat, watching the intrepid space-explorers go hiking across the uncleared back lot of some third-rate movie-studio, long hair hanging *below* the helmet-seals of their spacesuits. Ooooooo-kaaaaaay..... ah, the stuff you watch when you've had a few drinks.

That said, that's quite a list you got going there, Odin :gg: I am not sure if you can equate "Mary Poppins" with T2, but its your list, so its all good! Ha....

But.... WORST MOVIE EVER goes to 1994's (? '93, '94.... somewheres in there)..... "THE FEAR". This is about a wooden mannequin "terrorising" a bunch of obnoxious co-eds at a cabin in the woods; its so damn BAD you want to hire the Terminator to show up with his Gatling-gun and waste the whole unlikeable bunch of 'em.

However the idea of offing them oneself is also a tempting fantasy :gg: Charlie's Angel movies also make me want to hurl.

I have heard really bad things about "Feardot.com", but haven't seen it myself so I cant speculate.

The trouble that always comes with "Worst movie ever" threads is the amount of people who'll always just take popular movies that they might dislike, say, the Empire Strikes Back, and list them as the worst movie ever only to get a rise out of people. :o ;)

Clearly, people need to start watching more Mystery Science Theater if they're listing many of the movies in this thread as the worst ever. :p ;)

Have you guys ever heard of Mystery Science Theater 3000? That show was great! It was a show based on the idea of watching, and making fun of bad movies. It was about this guy (Mike Nelson) who gets shot up into outer space and is forced to watch really bad movies along with these robots named Crow & Tom Servo and He and the robots make fun of the movies while they watch them by throwing snide comments at the screen. If any of you haven't seen it, check it out on DVD!

While not the worst I have seen by any means I always felt the Matrix is WAY overrated. It's heavy handed pop philosophy about a subject (reality vs preception among other things) which has been done over and over and over again in much more intelligent fashions. Matrix, while good, just spells everything out for you.

However the worst I have seen...maybe it was my date, but she took me to see Uptown Girls with Brittany Murphy and oh.my.god. I wanted to kill myself.

The Poisedon Adventure from the 80's that was on T.V. a month back or so was AWFULL!!! In every scene they seemed to have to kill someone off.
You're going through a burning room, you hear creaking above you, do you stop and look up or do you run hell bent for leather??? Then you have this group of people that have to climb a shaft in the ship (and I didn't think they had 40 ft shafts inside of ships...) and the guy at the end of the line has a rope and nobody thinks to tie off to each other??? Honestly, it may not have been the WORST movie I've ever watched, but I can't give it a real rating because I didn't watch more than the 15 minutes these two scenes were in. apparently, tom cruise is a dead beat dad. his family hates him, but everybody else loves him. when the aliens show up, everybody's like, "HEY, TOM!! WASSUP?" also, he has too much luck. after the e.m.p thing, tom somehow finds the only working car. he drives the car to his ex's home. which still has electricity. then he makes the kids sleep in the basement. while in the basement, a plane crashes into the house. later on, tom and the kids make it on to a ferry, while a bunch of people get left behind. then, later on, when the aliens are harvesting humans, everybody comes together to save tom (who kills the alien with grenades).what about the girl before him who got harvested? they just sat there while she died. then, he figures out that the aliens are dying. he tells the army to "LOOK AT THE G**D***** BIRDS!!" the army shoots up the aliens and they die. tom reunites with his ex wife and presumed dead son. wtf? the only good thing about the movie is when tom kills tim robbins. oh, and his son gets his ass kicked. that was pretty cool. another thing that bugged me about the emp scene was the digital camera that was still working afterwards. :mad:
