I just think doing captions on comicbook covers and pages is much funnier if the text looks like the real captions. it fools you for a second that it is real, and maintains teh illusion when you're reading the joke. If a word balloon is yellow, and you slap a white box with plain text over it, as you sometimes do, your constantly aware that it's fake and the gag isn't quite as good. see what I'm saying?
