Nice, might i suggest something, use a mask on the earth background and at the bottom fade from black to transparent to blend into the black you have at the bottom instead of having the sharp edge :)

I just mentioned it above.

Basically in his case you add a layer mask to the earth image, this is done by clicking on the little icon the layer palette in photoshop (its not open now so forgive me for not giving a more accurate description of what it looks like, hover the mouse over the little icons or goto the layer menu at the top of the screen) Now that you have a layer mask on the layer click on the layer mask and goto the gradient tool, make sure that you have black and white as your default colors, hit D on the keyboard to bring them back to default. Now make sure the gradient tool is set to black to transparent, if its not just switch the colors by hitting X on the keyboard. Than drag at the bottom edge of the earth up and it will basically mask the bottom edge, essentially blending it to background, which in his case is black, understand? Let me know how it works out :):up:

yeah that pic was just really a cut and paste with elements i allready had. i did just throw a little paint over the bottom but didnt take to much time on it.
it looks fine to me, but that maybe because my screen is a little darker than yours.
to aviod this happening i normally do use a layer mask, but forgive me for rushing :p

generally fan's work is better than what the studio produces, why? Because they usually do not commission a seperate graphic designer or firm to do different projects, they either use in house or the same place, so one, 2 maybe even 3 guys have to do hundreds of projects from posters to promotional items to dvd covers, normally its an issue of time.

Hey All,

I'm looking for someone to please make me an Custom Cover for the upcoming movie "I'll always know what you did last summer". The cover that is out now sucks. I mean you don't even have to make a back if you don't want, all i want is a better cover. Something that looks like the 1st two covers. PLEASE PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME. I know there isn't a lot of pics out for the film but, i'm sure someone could do a good job. Also you can still use the pics of the kids on the cover, everyone but that girl on the end with her mouth open (I hate her). Please I just need someones help.

Here are some things you could do:
1. Make the poster have a green/yellow tint (or another color like the 1st two).
2. Colorado mountains in the background (like the tree's on the "I still" cover)
3. The cool font (http://forums.cdcovers.cc/showthread.php?p=950151#) from the orginal "I know" posters
4. Move the kids around on the new poster to make it look better.
5. Make the kids all looking one way.
5. Make it look like the other posters/covers as best as you can.
6. If you can fine a pic of David Paetkau that would match the other ones, maybe you could put him on the poster. If not could you only have Brooke Nevin, Torrey Devitto, Ben Easter & Fisherman on the poster. I hate that other girl on the end, she looks so dumb.
7. Have fun. Make some cool taglines or something. go crazy.
9. If need use some pics of Fisherman from the other movies.
8. WHATEVER YOU DO TAKE THAT ONE GIRL OFF THE END! & MAKE IT WAY BETTER THAN THE ONE WE HAVE NOW.

Isn't that what they always do in movie/TV? They always put the name of what ever the file is right on the front with Classified stamped across it then the person in the movie/show will open it and get in deep s**t. But then the Stark Enterprises shouldn't be on the side but it's only a poster and I like it there.

1. "only wolverine can defeat phoenix" er, why only woverine, what about leech who can drain her powers or rogue same thing, why Wolvie, because he loves her, what a **** reason.

2. Angel had almost no linea, and like two blink and you'll miss'em scenes

3. Xavier and juggernaut had no connection, all it would've taken was a 5 second clip of them looking at each other outside of Jean's house and Maneto saying 'not now' to big Juggs.

4 Juggernaught say's "i need a pee", english blokes don't say "pee" c'mon "i need a piss" would've been less dorky And the helmet reason was ****e, "keeps my face pretty" my ass.

5 Nightcrawler was the best thing in X2 why get rid of him, it's not like they used their new characters much.

6 They got rid of cyclops rather poorly, she just happenned to rebirth at the exact time he was their. and they under-used Rogue and used too much of storm and not enough of Xavier and Collosus

There is something off about that one I don't like as much as the others. Something about the car I think. The other one with that pic you've done (the 1st one I think) is amazing, I love it. The 2nd classified file cover is my favourite, I always love those sorts of covers with just the movie logo and no actors (although that's not the movie logo but its still my favourite).

looks like a very good manip, one nit picky thing though the face of spidey isnt as good as the rest, just summin about it, the quality maybe? colour slightly off? i dunno just summin about it stops the poster being perfect
