Well, there's one of these in the Spidey thread and Guyverjay's got a request thread in Marvel Comics so I thought it'd be cool to have a thread where you can post pics of your favorate X-Men moments, characters, covers, etc.

Well, there you go. SO what interested you? Post it here. I plan on getting on here and posting pics in themes as I'm a pic junky and have thousands on my computer, I decided to put them to good use. So what do you wanna post?

I don't really keep up with the comics. When the hell did Xavier die?

It was a while ago. His son Legion went back in time to kill Magneto so that Xavier's dream would go unhindered (Legion was a bit nuts himself though). Of coarse Xavier being Eric's friend saved Eric but Legion accidentally killed his father, thus ending his existance and the existance as we know it because Xavier was never around to form the X-Men.

Thus came the Age of APocalypse, fast forward to now how it would have been without Xavier. magneto is a hero fighting for his old friend's dream, leading the X-Men. Sabretooth is an X-Man and Cyclops is an agent of Apocalypse who rules the world. I'd go into more details but It'd take forever. Maybe tomarrow I'll post a series of Age of APocalypse pics for you.

A great issue, and a big shock really. Though I'd have to say that colossus's death was the biggest shock as I hadn't been online in a while and had no idea it was coming. One of my favorate issues of all time.

I loved it. I loved his character but it was a fitting death that's better and more "in Character" than most deaths in comics these days.

I'm still pissed at Piotr's death. That bloody Dream's End story had so many mistakes in it... it just sucked.

It wasnt' one of the best, that's for sure, but it wasn't horible. But one thing..... Piotr didn't die in the Dreams End 4 part crossover, he died in a stand alone issue. Pyro, Sen Kelly, and Moira Mactaggert all died in Dream's End.

I was in the same boat forever. I have thousands of pics on my computer and nothing to do with them. Then I came accross photobucket.com and signed up for a free account. I take the pics from my computer and putting them directly onto the webpage and from there I can post here. This is why I started this thread because it's fun to post my pics and show them off and now I can. Great pics by the way,..... I love that of Jean. Here Comes Tomarrow was great. I wish Tom Skylark and Rover could have somehow survived and come to nowadays time but I guess that wouldn't make much sense so I see why it didn't happen.

I've been trying to find the pages when Tom calls Rover from the ocean to attack Sublime but I couldn't find it. That was my favorate scene of Here Comes Tomarrow along with Tito's death (check first post for that).

I have this HUGE collage on my walls and ceiling in my room with all these X-Men images ive scanned and I have barely any of iceman, did you scan those or are they from a website? I'd just love to get my hands on a bigger or higher quality version of those last two...

Everything on my computer I got online as I don't have a scanner. I'm just good at finding things usually.

And I've always been a fan of Iceman and hate how they've always played him down. That's why I loved his story in Operation Zero Tolerance. In the end it was pretty much him who kept the X-Men going and brought down Bastion.

There you go. Of these I think the best stories can come from Lifeguard, her brother Slipstream, and Thunderbird. If you think about it we left them with Lifeguard learning she's half Shi'ar and her brother leaving her shouting things of racism and also being frightened he may be half "monster". Thunderbird is with his girl Lifeguard and though he's friends with Slipstream he'd half to defend Lifeguard from him until he sees the light. You have their parent's mob history to play with as well as how Lifeguard can be Royal Shi'ar. Who is her Shi'ar parent? If Royal then can't it only be Lilandra, Deathbird, or D'Ken? Could she be the third summer's sibling? perhaps a lovechild of Xavier and Lilandra somehow aged? Who knows? There are some good stories here I wish they'd play with.

This sucks. My computer's suddenly gone to fritz and there's a chance I may loose all my pics! I'm currently on my bro in law's computer to write this but just so everyone knows I won't be posting anything for a while picture wise. Bad news. My pics are kablooy. We had to wipe my computer completely and so I lost about 5 years worth of pic collecting and about 3000 pics. I've always liked that Wolverine and Magneto pic. There's a fuller picture of it with a lot more characters on it around. It's actually the cover of the X-Men Encyclopedia (behind the dust cover). This is a pic of four X-treme X-Men covers that connected together. The cool thing is that I had found a Gambit pic that actually went with this next to Cannonball. I assume that there's a Rogue pic that when below him but I never found it. I wonder why these never made it to covers?

I don't think Nightcrawler (Kitty and Colossus) were part of the team during this time, right? I think they only came back around X-men 80/Uncanny 360

Yeah that image is taken from around Uncanny 363-ish. I think what I meant was the search for Cerebro. That whole year was confusing to me in X-comics so I'm not even sure what happens.

I think if I remember from when I scaned it, that's the issue where Pyro's powers are going out of control (for the what third time? I know it happened in the Ceilia issue too). Nightcrawler was in the original image, but not connected to any of them, he would be in the upper right corner or something like that.

First of all, i'd like to apologize. :( I paired up the wrong picture with the wrong caption. I was looking at the X-men:OZT pic with the -minus Nightcrawler- caption. :p

Anyways, i've found some pics and have uploaded them on picturevillage.com. However, when i tried to post them here and previewed them, it showed them in a minimized size. If anyone can help, i'd greatly appreciate it. The pics are mostly by Mad! my second fave artist!!!

I would suggest just using photobucket.com, it works nicely but I'm not sure if your problem has to do with the uploader or the dpi of the image.

Stuck he is not. Austen is leaving soon. I've never had a bad problem with him really until the issue that came out today I hate how he portrays Iceman. It's about a 15 years jump backwards. Bobby knows better than to just pick a fight with Juggernaut while Havoc is right in front of him with the fate of teh world in his hands. Crappy writing

I prefur to stick with my titles through the high times and the low. I've not stopped reading X-Men since 300 and I've read back as the 110's or so. There have been parts that don't interest me but I stick with it until better days come. IT's because I'm a fan of the characters and the book and not to individual writers. If someone isn't written correctly I know someone will eventually come to fix it. I'm just curious how it's goin to happen.

The only exception to that was with Spiderman. When they decided to ignore everything Clone Saga it was too much and I stopped reading anything Spidey for years.

That image is from Uncanny X-Men 379, two issues before Claremont's 'Revolution.' What do you like about it, the fact that it's a cool group shot or the art? Cause I could try to find more group shots or I can scan some more pictures from that artist.

oh man it was great! It started simply by several mutants in the year 2099 finding Xavier's dream and starting to fight for it. It goes into other cooler stories of the team's falling apart and it's own leader, the Xavier like headfigure, betraying them. They separate and go on their own dark paths and eventually reunite. There's a lot more to it but it was just great and the characters were amazing. I specifically liked Skullfire the most, and Junkpile was my favorate villian (the guy killing Serpentina above). He was originally with the team on behalf of an old friendship with Xi'an but then turned on them. Man I miss that comic.

This version of John Proudstar was taken as a horseman of Apocalypse. So he was tinkered with. The first time we saw him go savage was against the Hulk as seen earlier. The second time was against Galactus, which made him look even more beast-like. I don't know how far his form can change being that he was left behind before we can learn the full extent of his power, but we get the idea he's one of Apocalypse's best and strongest creations.

since this is a pic gallery, someone has to post the new uncanny cover. that is my fave storm picture ever! it says soo much and it was worth the whole price just for that image.

it reminds me of a pic of cecelia reyes i like. i think its xmen 70, the one where they take the bomb out of scott's stomach. on one of the last pages, it shows little panels of what various xmen were doing and it has cecelia standing in the rain. i dunno, maybe its the rain theme, but i like that pic. if someone could find it online, that would be awesome.

And sorry as far as the DTL goes, that character is taken I do believe, or at least he use to be but the person who owned him stopped playing and someone took over his team. They may have gotten rid of him. He's Thunderbird from the Exiles if you want to look him up.

It was great in the beginning but after a while it just got to be another comic. I still like the title but just not as much as before. Let's put it this way,... I'm not pulling teeth to buy it like I am with Rogue and Gambit, but if it was discontinued I wouldn't be upset. Provided they do something cool with the cool characters. (I don't really care about Namora or Wendigo, sorry).

No, I have the Wizard X-Men special those designs were debuted in. He was asked to do movie designs, but declined because and I paraphrase, he hated the X-Men. Then he saw the movie and he didn't hate them anymore and did designs for the comics that weren't used.

What is the deal with Generation X, the movie of course? I never saw it... can someone explain the plot... behind the movie?

It focuses on SKin and Jubliee getting adopted into this school lead by Banshee and the White Queen. They meet other studants (Mondo and M are the only known ones. There are also two other students never seen in comics. One is a hulking strong chick and the other is a Cyclops rip off). there was a bad guy who had no real powers but I don't remember what his goal was. Eventually I think he kidnapped Skin and Skin reached Jubilee through her "latent telepathy" and the Gen X team came to the rescue. Eventually Skin sacreficed himself to save the day, and the was shown to have lived.

The idea was that this was a movie that was hoped to become a tv show. I didn't think it was all that bad myself. It's no Spiderman, but it was a cute movie.

I've been trying to find the pages when Tom calls Rover from the ocean to attack Sublime but I couldn't find it. That was my favorate scene of Here Comes Tomarrow along with Tito's death (check first post for that).
