I dunno what's up with some of these moderators here lately. That's why I keep saying to think things through really carefully before you call one, because if they get summoned there's no telling what they'll do.

I also find it amusing that every SINGLE time you say something they disagree with, they call you "childish" and then tell YOU to quit calling names, all in the same breath. If name-calling is bad, they should never do it, dont'cha think?

__Those figures really have some convincing poses. Looked like G.G. WAS running. Venom looked VERY self-assured and ready for action. The photo-shop eyes are great for comic effect, but the figures... It's WIERD how well thay can express different things with postures...I especially notice that in Nemo's "romantic" serials, because they're god-d@mn action figures...yet they serve a soap-operatic ambience so well...
__Maybe Keanu Reeves, if he can never learn to animate his face, can still advance his acting by using some body language? All he needs to do is sit down and study some dolls.

what does everyone here think of punish-om. the venom punisher blend thing.
it thought it was pretty cool, but that the symbiote acted too much like carnage, being able to extend parts from anywhere. i thought carnage's whole special-ness was that he could extend tendrils, and if venom is given similar capabilities, then carnage becomes just so much repetetive garbage. I think the venom from the punisher thing crosses the line between venom and carnage. how about you?

My Venom figure is a right ****** to pose (or even stand up straight) 'cos he has a very loose ankle joint & has a tendency to tip over all the time. Which is why in the 2nd pic with the pumpkin his legs are farther apart to try & support the extra weight. That pumpkin is solid plastic & has a fair old weight to it... It is worth persevering with though, 'cos if you can get the pose 'right' it really does make it work :up:
I've got another one planned for later down the line which will involve Carnage as well ;)

__Sandlicker- I think there's plenty to differentiate Carnage and Venom, besides the symbiotic properties. That said, I do want the symbiotes to be distinct, as well, since they reflect the host's minds...and Eddie and Clete's minds are VERY different.

I haven't read the 'Punish-om' mini/one off (?) yet, can't say it's at the top of my 'to read' list either...
To be honest I think joining Punisher & the Venom Symbiote up is kind of a waste of time 'cos when you think about it the charactors are very similar. Both kill for the sake of there own brand of 'justice'. They both feel fully justified in what they are doing no matter how messed up it seems to others. Granted I know very little about The Punisher but it would seem to me that Venom & him share a lot in common.

As for the Venom Symbiote extending off parts of it like tendriles, I've no proble, with that. He doesn't do it all the time, majority of the time Venom's pretty 'solid' (unlike Carnage), so I don't mind if every now & then we see the odd Venom tendrile here & there. Comes in handy sometimes anyway having a Symbiote that can go place a human body cannot. ;)

It's not to late to start collecting though fever, I've only been collecting action figures for the past 12 months or so. Also Toy Biz have just re-released the 6" Carnage figure in a Villains only assortment, so he should be easier to find then in the past. Not to mention the new Carnage figure that will be coming out in the 'Fearsome Foes' boxset :up:

My only gripe with it is his chest spider...Why oh why do they (TB) ALWAYS insist on giving it blue shading? Never done like that in the comics, it's always plain, bright white, so why do it on a toy? :confused: Minor quibble though.

Toy Biz's website has it down for a 'Spring 2005' release date, & unless the guy from Action Figure Insider got hold of an early release one, I take it it must be out in the US now yeah. So happy hunting :):up:

Its so very depressing how Eddie's real potental as a character was ruined by a hack dumb-**** author, who thought giving him cancer was the answer to giving his character motivation.

I find it so annoying, that people could never grasp with the idea, that Brock, WAS A HYPOCRIT, and Brock, was almost unable to accept responsibility for any of his own personal downfalls, and blamed other people for all his whoes.

What's so hard to understand about that? And now his big motivation is "I got cancer ya se..."

You know him killing himself in the churcH? That was the EASY way out for Eddie Brock. Because Eddie, at his core, is a coward. Now, I'm not saying that as a bad thing, but its true.

He couldn't face what he'd done, he couldn't face those around him, like his father or his wife, so he decided to end it before he had to be RESPONSIBLE and EXPLAIN his actions.

Its not that hard to figure out, and dumb "fans" could never understand it, and the morons at Marvel couldn't either.

Nope. Only thing new Symbiote related is the Toxin 5 part mini thats currently running. #2 was out last week i believe, waiting to get hold of my copy.
Other than that Eddie is 'dead', Mac Gargan still has the Venom Symbiote *shudders* & Carnage (we take it) is floating around in space in two seperate parts. :( Bad time for Symbiote lovers the world over I'm affraid. Especialy with what's going on in the S-M3 forums! :rolleyes:

As well complaining about people's screen names is the most obscure objection I have ever heard. People choose their screen names to fit their personality, favorites and/or sense of humour.
