First of all, b*d*ss tattoo. I give credit where it's due. Anyways, I did not come crawling back, I stop in here about once a week. I have seen some great pictures and learned some valuable things. So I keep stopping by hoping to get some more. But all I ever read is the mindless dribble about how bad life sucks and terrorists. Sure I was a sm*rt*ss, but that is just me. I guess if I were to rephrase it, I'd suggest a better way for crayola boy to do some artwork on the computer...nah, I'd still tell him how it is. venom4life, I do agree your works in MSPaint aren't masterpieces, but they're still excellent. I've seen very few people who are better with it. I know how tough it is to work with MSPaint, and I love almost all of the pictures you've made. One or two are a little shoddy, but some of them are almost perfect - like the one with Venom hanging upside-down, I loved that.

Well they were never intended to be masterpieces, they were quick doodles done in paint to pass the time as i've stated numerous times. Im not sure where anyone got the idea that they were serious pieces of work, but oh well.

My true artistic talent lies on actual paper of course. But thanks Leon S. Kennedy, you are a good fella. And you give good input, as you mentioned, unlike the "special" case who got banned. Nope, not one that springs to mind anyway. Although I have seen a white Venom/Symbiote style action figure floating aroud on eBay from time to time. Think it was from the 'Planet of the Symbiotes' toy line. But other than that no.

Yep, it is indeed fever. Picked it up from my local TRU last week (I was there SMC Mysterio hunting but that didn't go as planned). Cost about £2.99 I think.
They also had these mini cars which came with tiiiiiiiny lil figs to go in them so you could race 'um. But they looked like crap & cost alot for what it was so I left that there.

Picked up this 12" Deluve Venom (Toy Biz) from on of my local toy shops today. We've seen him in here before & he's been out in the states for about 2-3 months I think but this is the 1st time I've seen I'm. Apart from eBay & I wasn't about to pay £20 for the git!

I've only few collecting for a few years so I missed out on alot of the earlier Venom stuff but I am slowly getting there, picking up odd pieces here & there that take my fancy. I dont buy anything & everything that has Venom on it, I'm very fussy in that respect, I only buy what takes my fancy & looks cool. Mainly 'cos I dont have the space or the funds to buy every little thing with Venom's mug on it. We're pretty lucky in that respect, being as Venom is one of the more popular villains theres always some new piece of Venom gear coming out. :venom::up:

...so any other than that Sable & ya pretty much good too go. Although you could always re-use exsisting colours but just in a different way.

Joseph Olszewski never got along at school with anyone, never was prosperous in the real world. He was a young man whose family was murdered by a violent street gang and he was the only survivor of the brutal attack. Everything he held dear to him was taken away. Two years gone by and things only got worse, he couldn't take it anymore. He was on the brink of suicide, he decided he would end it all. He went out in the middle of the night to take his life, when by chance a comet came crashing to earth. Curious he went to investigate, not aware of the malevolent lifeform waiting within. An alien symbiote was within the comet, seeking a host. It found Joseph, bonding with him in a furious fusion of man and alien. Fueled by pure rage and hatred for all who hurt him, Jospeh calls himself Chaos and the world will pay...

Known Superhuman Powers: The symbiote has granted Joseph super strength and speed. He can also adhere to any surface, project tentacles from the symbiotic entity. He can also mutate the symbiotic costume to form weapons. He can also spit corrosive liquid as well as produce cohesive masses of plasma (balls of acid) with his hands, and possess telepathic powers. Also is capable of blending in with his surroundings.


Im currently working on a long story about Chaos, first he's going to be on a murderous rampage and a journey of vengeance. Then im going to introduce wolverine to fight him, and the military get a hold of him for research on the alien symbiote, in New York. Of course he'll break out and eventually cross paths with Spider-Man. He will be a very violent, raging villain who will not show mercy or sympathy for anyone. He considers himself the judge, the jury and the executinor.

Well, in my opinion I would always assume that the symbiote itself could adhere to surfaces. Just because of the creatures physical form, but that was just my thinking. And I think it could project it's body (tendrils) as always.

But I hope others like the idea, it's just something im doing really. I like writing and drawing. :)

The character that i've created, Chaos, thats one of his abilitys. This symbiote can produce acidic substances from it's own body. Thus taking advantage of it and using it as a weapon. By producing a ball of acid in his hands, he can hurl it.

Corrosive: Having the capability or tendency to cause corrosion. Gradually destructive; steadily harmful

Acid: Chemistry a. Any of a class of substances whose aqueous solutions are characterized by a sour taste, the ability to turn blue litmus red, and the ability to react with bases and certain metals to form salts. b. A substance that yields hydrogen ions when dissolved in water. c. A substance that can act as a proton donor. d. A substance that can accept a pair of electrons to form a covalent bond.

Slime: A thick sticky slippery substance.

Plasma: The clear, yellowish fluid portion of blood, lymph, or intramuscular fluid in which cells are suspended. It differs from serum in that it contains fibrin and other soluble clotting elements. b. Blood plasma.

__The charactor sounds like a good platform for a lot of gruesome action. I like that you'll build up his motivation before you embark on the villainy, but you may want to consider a prologue set in his symbiotic "present," and have the first chapter in the past, etc. That way readers get the idea of where he's headed.
__I have concepts for two symbiotes myself (it's so fun to devise symbiotes!).
__Shrapnel would have massive costume dart capacity, and his darts would be laced with psychoactive and nuerotoxic chemicals. Black, shard-like surface with bioluminous liquids in random fissures. He also can devise compounds specific to situations. Togethor, he and his symbiotic partner are very bright and inquisitive in that science; they comprise a dual genius and a living laboratory, complete with human subject and chemical synthesizer. He can "recall" his costume darts before they expire. He's not well mentally- unstable, impulsive, without faith. Thrill-seeking, too. He sees himself as deficient in important respects (Daddy issues- he has no aptitude or appetite for the great things his Daddy has expected of him). His comforts are his symbiote and his brother.
__His brother, Voltage, has moderate electrical powers (with contact) and weak magnetic manipulation. He's quick and exceptionally good at using costume tendrils. He's the only symbiote to employ augmenting technology. He doesn't spend much time in his sym skin except to deal with other symbiotes. He owns a biochemical company that he's built on Shrapnel's compounds, and has an interest in keeping Shrapnel from crawling off into the dark to lose himself. Voltage is a very hard, closed-off person, but he has over time built strong bonds with human loved ones and is happy.
__These are not the nicest people, and belong to an extended and immediate family of less nice people, all symbiotics.
__Of the two, Voltage is the leader. Initially they function as one person in two bodies, but it's a person whose dark side has a tendancy to roam on its own. Over time they differentiate and find both bright and dark in each of "themselves."
__Wierdly, in the stories I have planned which involve them, they'll never be the central charactors. It's an ensemble, really, if I ever write it. In fact the canon charactors have modestly more effect on the plot.
__The plot involves symbiote refugees/rebels that follow a long-lost leader and visionary to his current home-in-exile: Earth. Unfortunately, he never considered himself a leader or a visionary, but has been adopted as such. They hope to get his guidance and to make an army of themselves by recruiting human partners. Their cause is the ideal of a symbiote/host partnership rather than master/slave relationship.
__They soon become aware of another earth Symbiotic with abilities that could prove decisive in their war- but he is hardly an ideal savior for the human race or any other.
__The question is whether Earth's native-born sym population wants this species-wide conflict staged on their world, employing the species of their hosts (humans) as pawns.
__Two factions rise in the native symbiote population (which would number about twenty at that point). One welcomes the refugees and the possibility of shaping the future of two species. The other wants no "non-native" syms or issues to take hold on Earth.
__Well, there's a possible third faction, composed of one sonuva******: the hell yeh, it's party-time faction.
__Laugh hard at me, because the whole thing is obviously inspired by PoTS. Also, it may never be written as I'm entering college- and it's the third in a series of 3 stories, the first of which is only 2/3 done.

I'll be glad to answer, well when Joseph decides on that ceartin night that he wants to kill himself somewhere in the woods, that very name night theres a comet shower(or whatever you call em) and just by chance a symbiote was contraband on one of em, and in need to find a host. Lets just they Joseph was in the right place at the right time. As for him running into Venom or Carnage, that may be a possibility. Chaos gets him name from the gang who murdered his family, they called themselves "The Disciples of Chaos".

fever red, I like your ideas! They are awsome, and I think I will follow that path with an symbiotic prologue. In fact, thats what I will do. I think it will work better that way!

Thanks fever red, you really gave some good input! It actually turned out better then I thought it was going to be, I realized that there were some mistakes but I was l guess im what you call, "Lazy" lol. But thankyou for your kind input, it means alot! Im nowhere as good as Symbiotica(Have you seen her stuff?) and there are many others. But as mentioned, I just enjoy drawing.

Thats some good input there my friend, thanyou very much! Yes in a way the suicide thing is similar to Brock, but it's also so much different. The whole story really deals with death, it's swims in a pool of death. When I say that I mean just think...you hate yourself, you were never happy with yourself. Joseph suffers from a chronic form of depression, and the only people in your life are taken away from you by a murderous gang. Really it was just one of the angles, that would fuel the fire. As for the darkened face, I always love that style, makes them more scary. Thankyou for your opinion, they're very good and helpful too!

No problem, and good job on the musculature as well, that's one of my toughest adversaries as an artist - not a professional one, mind you, I do it for fun while I'm listening to lectures in school or the coach's bull**** plays. Yeah, keep the plot nice and dark, plenty of death and depression would make it unique. The symbiotes always had a potential for sin and corruption - Carnage achieved it through insanity, and Brock never really hit home with his mixed motives thanks to sucky writing a lot of the time - Toxin's already showing a bit of skitsophrenia, and that's making his book enjoyable. __I loved the concept of him adopting a city and a community. Lucky San Francisco! I also thought his conceit of becoming a Lethal Protector was fun. It could have been a lot darker, and more ironic. I liked the times when he would covertly be as villainous as he damn well wanted- just covering his tracks so that he could avoid interference from real heroes.
__In fact, it probably would have been better if they hadn't tried to resolve the question of "How could Spidey let this happen?" I mean, the answer should have been "Spidey wouldn't." Peter should have left S.F. thinking he had driven off or accidently killed poor ol' Venom. Venom, of course, would simply have gone underground. Thereafter, any sightings could be discounted as urban legends.
__I loved Beck- how she was definitely Eddie's GF, NOT Venom's. Beck was just too sane to please the symbiote. Or too "naive," if you listen to Eddie. I thought that helped give an edge to the whole thing- as in, how long can the center hold?
__I think the symbiote had lost patience with Beck long before it got its way and saw the back of her for a final time. She had good reason to be fearful.
__I'd be uncomfortable if my lover had a life-partner Other than me, an inhuman one that was always there, in his head, observing our interactions and commenting on them. Especially if I knew it was intensely aggressive, territorial, and carnivorous... And it had no interest in human companionship besides its host... It did not have any motive to get on amicable terms with me. To top all this off, that symbiote never slept...
__I give Beck credit. She tried. Out of the goodness of her heart? Sure, that, too- but there must have been something askew in her head. I'm sure she would have kept Eddie at a distance if she didn't have issues of her own. I wish they had gotten some exposure.
__She fell in love, essentially, with a violent psychotic with dissociative identity disorder, while knowing that the voice in his head didn't want her around. Who the heck does that?
__Somebody WAY too desperate for a protector, I think.

As for a chest symbol, I don't think I will give Chaos one. As much as I would like, I don't think it would work. Because Venom got his symbol because the symbiote was on Spider-Man, but hey, you never know! Maybe an alien glyph of some kind would fit. But I think it would be better if I saved that for another character.

Yeah, it's actually getting better. Tyenol 3 helps me get through the night, when I get home I put on those pain patches(heat ones) so far it's been helping. Still sore, but I guess it takes time.

This is is a quick drawing I did tonight. I used to have aspirations of being a comic book artist...but life doesn't always work out the way you plan. I colored it and added effects in Photoshop, but I cannot get it to come up. It looks a lot better colored, I added blood to the mouth and a puddle of blood at Spidermans feet dripping from his head.

Interesting rendering. He has a "tiger" look to him. Any tie in to a feline background? I don't know if I agree about the distinct symbol...I think the "tiger stripes" makes him very distinct. I see no need for a symbol, but that's just me. I think the picture before this one, with him crouching also gave me a hint of big catness, the way his is crouching...like he is perched, poised, waiting somewhere in the shadows...to strike. I just get the feeling of a hunter with instincts.

As for the character i've created, his name is Chaos. If you want to read his profile, it's a page or two back. He has a pet cat(Well former family pet, but since his family is dead), but thats the only connection to a feline there is lol. However, he is an incredibly powerful being with devestating abilitys, but I guess you can say he's fast and agile as a cat of course. Especially for a being a heavy hitter. As for the stripes, I found to be distinct and liked them better then symbols on him. And for the face, the blackness makes it look like a mask of death. The first sketching I did was him musing over some thoughts(violent in nature), and the second one was just him getting ready to attack somebody.

Oh and if anyone is curious, Joseph Olszewski gets beaten nearly to death, the he was stabbed in the stomach by the gangsters, and then shot in the side of his head with a pistol after watching his parents, brother and sister get murdered. It's a miracle but he's alive.

So...years later the scars remain, there's a nasty scar radiating from the side of his head ,and goes all the way to his right eye socket, where the eye is somewhat damaged, he has no pupil in his eye. And there is a nasty knife scar on his abdomen, so he was physically messed up. Lets just say that his skull was cracked when the bullet breached his head, but it never went all the way through. So when the doctors are operating on Joseph, one of them says that his skull looks like a shattered windshield.

I made it one of those extreme survival storys like the ones you always hear in the news, somebody that should be dead or braindead, and they come out fine. Like for the first few months he was having memorie troubles, and then everything started to return. He had no serious brain damage, so I made him lucky in a sense.

The best kind of character is one that escapes death and lives to avenge. I like the rated R versions. Blood, broken bones, the works. I think that is what turned me on to Venom, you can only listen to Spiderman do the right thing for only so long.

The symbiote is nasty, but it gives this person freedom from any kind of physical problems. As long as they are attached, the person is just as normal as you and I. But the alien does things that the person despises...kills...eats flesh... but cannot part with the symbiote for fear of being constrained to a bed, pissing through a cathader, sponge bathes, liquid meals...you know...like rejecting the symbiote would be like giving up a dream. That would be one heck of an inner conflict. At least it sounds like a good idea in my head. V4L you have inspired me...maybe I too could try and create a character.

I agree, thats a good angle you should use if you ever decide to create a character of your own. Im sure you've read the chracter profile i've posted a page or two back. After healing in a hospital for a year, Joseph of course can walk and talk. The only thing is the haunting memoryof his loved ones being murdered in cold blood, first it's vengeance...and then complete madness and evil influence by this symbiote drives him over the edge, becoming the villian that he was destined to be! So far im working on a prologue, but i've got the whole story worked out. (It's going to be a long, on-going story).

I love writing and drawing, it helps me get my mind off of reality and let me sink into a world where my imagination can be set loose(sure it sounds weird but hey lol). If you've got a good imagination or whatever, then why not use it right?

Well, in the colored version...brace yourself...he has ripped out Spidey's brains and has just finished eating them...I know I know. It's demented, but it is what every true Venom fan wants but knows will never happen. He's supposed to be kind of half smiling and looking up as if a great weight has been lifted. But you know if Spidey is dead, Venom has no reason to exist...so I don't know if I'd really like that to see that as much as I think I do. If you think about it, if Venom really wanted Spidey dead, Spidey'd be gone in the first couple of Venom appearances...but that's not a very good story. Spidey is absolutely no match for Venom. In my opinion that is.

Ohhh, so far i've finished the prologue. It's gruseome and violent just as it should be, Chaos getting even with one of the baddies. Chapter one is complete also, and I find it to be a quite depressing chapter as it's about the memorie of what happened. It's quite sad. This is turning out better then I though it was! And to think stuff like this happens in the real world, makes me feel sick and disgusted to be a human. But for some aspects in this story to work, stuff like that has to be part of it.

I think most people would do that. I'd buy him and pose him being beaten up by Venom and Scorpion. :up:
