When you transfer it to a text document, it's literally 48 pages long, no joke.

That's how I usually read fanfics: I copy & paste segments to a document, then read offline at my leisure. I can add indents to the paragraphs that way too, because stuff without paragraph indents is hard for me to read for some reason. As people add to their fanfics I just add to their document, keeping everything together.

Has anybody seen "Earth Girls Are Easy"? There's this scene in it where Jim Carrey [cast as an alien named Whiploc [?] do not ask me!] is partying with friends at a L.A. hot-spot. Anyhoo.... in one scene Jimbo unfurls this 14" long tongue in order to get the very last dregs out of the bottom of an alcoholic drink.

Girl #1: "He's going home with [i]me!!"

Girl #2: "NO! ME!!!!".....

Girl #3: "No.... he's going home with ME." [drags him off by the ear]

If he isn't dead, there doesn't seem to be much point to the "Venomous" story other than to get the symbiote out and about--something that seems all the more irrelevant now that Bendis is offing Carange, whose symbiote will probably do the same thing.

I believe Eddie's not dead. I fear his suicide attempt was/is a red herring, and it's Red (the Carnage Symbiote) that will be the Musical Chairs Symbiote.
__They'll have gotten Eddie fans in an uproar, and solo-symbiote boosters in an uproar too, one side with dread, the other with anticipation...and then the idea is to make everyone happy...except the admitted minority that liked Kasady.
__I never thought Eddie was dead. I do think Kasady may be. I doubt he is permanently, however. Now that Red will be in the spotlight, people will want to look back at the history and first host. Kasady was fantastic in the first arc and Mindbomb, fun in It's a Wonderful Life. I think he'll get new popularity, and return in some kind of ret-con.
__My hope? It wasn't ever Kasady that died; Red had hopped to a different host already. Kasady escaped. His return arc will feature him seeking revenge against Red for abandoning him- unless Red will accede to his control. His strength and speed are enhanced by his time with Red. He may be dying of his stomach cancer; so he'd have nothing to lose. Alternately, he had a residue of Red in his blood that developed into a clone; in which case he's very likely out for "blood," and with no interest in forgiving Red...now THAT, two Carnages, to the death, would be a f~cking awesome fight.

I cannot wait for the day they put Venom on the big screen. I wish Sony would just suck it up and buy the options for Venom and just go out there and make a movie that so many people already wanna watch.

Too bad Sony wants to stop the Spider-Man franchise after Spider-Man 3!! I think they made some sort of announcement a few months ago about how they're ending it after the next movie.

I read online, though, that David Goyer (of Blade Trinity directing infamy) wrote a screenplay back when New Line had the options for Venom. His story completely didnt have Spider-Man in it (because the rights to him are with Sony). Venom was the lesser of the 2 evils, and thus was the "good guy" because they pitted him against Carnage. I think that would've made a pretty cool movie too.. It's a f****** shame that New Line let the options for Venom expire. freaks. :venom: Why another company doesnt pick up Venom quickly is beyond me.

Firstly off, I'd like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who wished me well. I really appreciate it. Thank you. :)

Yeah, like ‘Doc Ock’ mentioned a few pages back, I do indeed suffer from Cystic Fibrosis (CF) & had gone into hospital (kicking & screaming I might add) to have some treatment for it. I hadn’t been running at 100% lately & my Doc felt then need to bring me in (fool!) to try & get me back up there. Something I felt I could manage by myself at home, which I actually did manage to start to do prior to going in.
So I lasted a week there & I wasn’t happy. At of different things came into to play which made me to decided to come home a week early but continue the treatment, the exact same treatment I was having in hospital I might add, at home.

So anyway, here I am! A bit sooner then expected but believe me, a week there was more then enough. Although I did get a HELL of a lot of comics read! ;)

Once again thank you to all that asked after me & wished me well. :up:
