where have I heard that before...where...where...where...oh yeah! the first one! it's the exact same plot as the first one! the first 2 movies were good, but the third was unneeded and ruined everything...how am I supposed to believe the best youth hocky team in the world (as established in the second movie) cant beat some preppy varsity snobs? it's retarded...

I don't know if I can really believe this. If it's true, then ol Pacy is having a lot of trouble with his career because I read an interview earlier THIS YEAR saying we'd be able to tell if he was evre really hurting for money because that's the only way he would ever do another Ducks movie.

I worshipped the first two as a kid. I mean it. I really did.

I cried at the end of the all touching D2 (Weee are the champions, my friends.) I loved the goalie, I wanted to do the knuckle puck. God...the memories. It makes me want to see the movies all over again (Except number 3...why did they destroy them?)

Although they were relentlessly unrealistic they ruled.

The NHL is on strike but it's alright because none of the former ducks made it to the the pros. Adam Banks got the closest but he had a knee injury. Anyway the NHL is on strike and the olympic games are coming up and the US has no hockey team since none of the US players wants to leave the states anyway for safety reasons. So Gordon Bombay, who still has his job in some branch of the olympics suggest that the US team doesn't use pros. Bombay re-unties all of the Ducks from D1,D2 and D3 and Coach Orein and forms the new team USA aka the Mighty Ducks. And that'll be the last one.

But hey that's just me talking.

By the way I loved D3. That's right I said it I think that was a great movie.

I myself loved The Mighty Ducks movies, the first two more than the third one, those movies actually got me into liking hockey, and that's odd to some considering that I'm black. But who knows it might actually be a good movie, it'll be nice to see how a new Ducks team would look.

I actually wrote a screenplay for my own version of D4 and it was almost similiar to what this one will be, except in mine Charlie becomes a coach via tryouts.

That ruined the suspension of disbelief for me. Canada didn't even give them a good fight, and Canada is the biggest hockey nation in the world. Canada should have been the team to beat in that movie, not Iceland, who doesn't even have a national hockey team last I checked.

I always had a problem with that. I always chaulked that up to the Americans trying to convince themselves they are better than Canada in the sport. They had to put that in a movie becuase there's no way in hell it would happen in real life.
