You could try to get the audio from the animated appearances that Ghost Rider made.

In order of most Ghost Rider time per episode:

1) Incredible Hulk - Innocent Blood
Appears throughout the entire episode, probably the best source for audio as he does quite a bit of talking and the Hellcycle is also present.

2) Fantastic Four - When Calls Galactus
About a minute of Ghost Rider towards the end when he uses the Penance Stare on Galactus. Some more talking and audio; both appearances were voiced by Richard Greico.

3) X-Men - Final Decision
Only a few seconds of Ghost Rider, and he doesn't speak, so not much good.

I'm craving too. I'm dying to hear not only his voice but how the hellfire is going to sound... if it has a sound at all. I guess it probably wont because there is no firewood cracklin' or anything but, one has to wonder.

Hmm, some GR phrases eh? That's a great idea. I'm not sure why I haven't thought of that before. I may indeed do that and I could in fact manipulate it myself. I spent a few years creating electronica and have a bit of experience using sound programs and such so... Good idea.

Oh, by the way, thanks; as if I don't have enough crap that I do randomly on a daily bases, I now have this in my head to create as well. Sheesh. :)

The thing is, hellfire doesn't burn like regular fire. The bones and nothing else are actually 'burning'. They just have a layer of flame surrounding. I'm really not sure if this will be the case in the movie or not because we see things melting as he drives by. Who knows at this point.

I'm with you on the voice thing though. I'm dying to hear what he sounds like as I've had his voice in my head (along with many others) for over 10 years now. It'll be nice to finally hear it out loud and by the sounds of things, it'll be perfect and exactly as I heard all these years reading the comics.

The movie hellfire seems to have both physical(GR1) and metaphysical(GR1-GR2) properties... The mentioned scene of the little flame pulled towards JB seems to confirm also some kind of elemental control over normal fire.
I would be very impressed if there's some scene were GR flame burns/hurts only guilt people, like, GR saving a child and he says he doesn't burn. Something like the Man-Thing touch.

Ghost Rider > First-hand impressions of the comic book beat-em-up.

For those unfamiliar with the source material, Ghost Rider is the alter ego of stuntman Johnny Blaze, who makes a deal with demonic forces to save the life of his mentor, and thus becomes a skull-headed, fiery vigilante. The upcoming movie, due to be released in February of 2007, features Nicolas Cage in the title role, but from what little we've seen so far, the game has more of a connection to the original comic book than the movie.

What it does have, though, is Ghost Rider running around and battling forces both mortal and demonic using enormous, fiery chains attached to his arms. If you think that sounds a bit like the blades from God of War, you're right. Using two different attacks, Ghost Rider can string together some pretty nifty combos, laying waste to clowns (and who doesn't want to do that?) and other annoying enemies. In addition, the game will also contain vehicular segments in which you'll be mounted on Johnny Blaze's bike and battling enemies on the road while avoiding obstacles. The sense of speed in this segment was actually pretty good, and it was possible to pull off maneuvers like power slides and jumps.

There's still a lot of time left before Ghost Rider hits shelves, and we've seen very little of the game at this point. But if cinematic action featuring a guy with a flaming skull sounds like your cup of tea, chances are this is one title you're going to want to watch out for.

there always made for xbox and ps2 then converted to 360 and ps3 which leave out the best graphics they can make.....

I picked up the Ultimate Avengers 2 the other day and the Trailer for Ultimate Alliance said ALL Marvels Villans against ALL Marvel's heroes.
If they did that, this game would be cool, but, I'm sure it's only the main characters that are popular now.

I like the skulls, oh how i like the skulls, and the original GR!!!(maybe he will be almost another character, more of a blaster type, maybe with lasso instead of the chain?) And Vendetta!!!I really like the skull, the costume is a little plastic look overall but still good, probably he will have more brawler type abilities, and finally TEH JUMPSUIT!!!!!! Note that there's no flames, but they are present in game, i wonder if the original GR will have also a white/blue specter like flame over his body... I'm very very tempted between Ketch/movie(the overall costume is Ketch GR but hes'go the jacket opet like the movie version) GR skin and Blaze GR...Dammn! I like the skulls, oh how i like the skulls, and the original GR!!!(maybe he will be almost another character, more of a blaster type, maybe with lasso instead of the chain?) And Vendetta!!!I really like the skull, the costume is a little plastic look overall but still good, probably he will have more brawler type abilities, and finally TEH JUMPSUIT!!!!!! Note that there's no flames, but they are present in game, i wonder if the original GR will have also a white/blue specter like flame over his body... I'm very very tempted between Ketch/movie(the overall costume is Ketch GR but hes'go the jacket opet like the movie version) GR skin and Blaze GR...Dammn! Well the voice is strange, too human, but the chain combo seems quite nice, he can grab enemies by far, in air, whack them on the ground several times, use the chain to strike multiple enemies in a swing, (3 swings combo also!) has a move i cannot welld escribe where he somewhat scream towards the enemy hurling from his mouth hellfire and maybe chain links in a wide arc shot, the nova thing supermove, the hellfire two hand "push" (showed in others trailers), and a move where he shoots from his right palm a contonuous stream of hellfire, with controllable emitting direction (it quite recalled me the way Vengeance shoot hellfire in Larroca's run). Very nice.

I got Ghost Rider unlocked yesterday afternoon! I think he's great.
Except his crappy voice! It should be more like a evil demon-like whisper or something, not an angry man voice:( No offense, but even I could have done a better Ghost Rider voice than that. That guy who did it would be good for someone else, but that voice doesn't belong to Ghost Rider. Like I said, a more whisper-like voice is what they needed to do.

Oh yeah, have fun beating Mephisto guys.:( Took me about 5 tries. Blackheart wasn't all that hard.

Hell is my favorite level of the game so far. Spider-Man and Ghost Rider are my favorite characters. I'm now at Asgard.

just unlocked GR...Mephisto was tricky to beat but not too hard.
i agree the voice is very lame...just a normal "angry" voice w/out any kind of added fx. if they could do it for Mephisto and Blackheart..why not GR?:huh: .also GRs lines are mighty lame too..."What the heck."...more like WTF!
no motorcycle attack moves :cmad: ...but at least he has the penance stare and the game does reference Zarathos...that suprised me.
although the voice is bad and his lines are out of character his fighting moves and powers are very cool!

My friend got it today so we started playing. By now i am using Deadpool, untill i can unlock our Vengeful one... Maybe i will change to Luke Cage 'cause he's got a chain too:D
I heard the classic jumpsuit costume does have an ability to revive ally!(20% base. maxed out at 50% probability).

I have the Classic costume of course (one you start with), Original suit (blue first costume) and the Vengeance. I haven't played as Vengeance. I think it looks cool as heck but I only used it in one of the bases. I just ran around for a bit. So I don't know if he has different abilities yet.

Western Rider might have a rope instead of a chain. I still haven't got him.

thats another gripe that i have...its just a "copy and paste" job w/ these skins.. also the special attibutes for certain skins are messed up. Ketch GR has upgradable hellfire damage while the original GR has upgradable chain damage. shouldnt that be the other way around?
also what would have been cool if they had the movie western GR w/ hellfire lasso and shotgun. even the slightly different movie GR outfit. if there is ever a MUA 2 maybe they could add these in.

Woha, just unlocked today. He's awesome! A little slow in combos but the chain makes him have the second farthest (guess Mr fantastic is the first) brawling range, very good in boss fight when all the team is surrounding the boss, GR can still beat him but the enemy cannot even touch him, also he can destroy some things sligthly out of reach for the most of characters, and the range allows him to destroy faster groups of barrel etc.. Where GR really shines tough is his throw. If you catch some enemy and then tap repeatedly on strong attack you launch him high in the air, grab witch chain ,and smack him down with great damage, then again and again!This trow is comparable as chunk of damage per slam to Luke Cage one!Also you can determine the direction of each slam, and even advance a little bit with each one, so you can tactically use the enemy to break things, damage other enemies(the best is in boss battles, grab a near enemy and slam him repeatedly on the boss:D while in throwing animation he can't damage you! a "fresh" enemy can last almost 5 slams...at first levels eh). GR is also very good as...a Awesome Hellfire Cannon! Even a lower levels ravaging flame is great, just keep the button pressed (and while doing this you cannot move BUT you can change direction of the shot, so you can track enemies, also the power does autotarget a little, even on different height levels, stairs etc) then release it and most times is one shot-one kill of combusting hellfire, nice range too, not as Deadpool dual shot but still great even in large environments. I tried Fear but i think is more efficient in specific situations. Generally GR has a GREAT energy reserve, so you can shot ravaging flame or other powers almost endlessy!
I cannot wait to try fiendish chain, it seems veeeery useful!

yup...its weird seeing the original cowboy GR using a chain and shooting hellfire from his hands :whatever:

but regardless its still a cool game and a decent representation of GR...although its certainly not perfect. having lots of fun making him beat the living ^&*( out of his opponents. i took your advice about slamming your victims over and over again w/ the chain....didnt know you could hold on to them and bounce them around like that. great sadistic fun:woot:
the allies AI should be improved though....when i was fighting BH in hell (mephisto's realm) the other heroes wandered around aimlessly near the edge of the cliff and BH shot all 3 over the edge leaving GR to fight BH all by himself....and he still won! heh

Hey! I've just realized when Fear is useful, VERY useful! Ever wondered how to get rid of thoose annoying minions when you are trying to beat the crap out of the bosses? Right, use Fear end they will run away from you terrorized, leaving you concentrating on the boss... also in very crowded spaces fear is useful for crowd control, allowing you to chase each enemy at once. I am starting to think that GR is somewhat specialized for boss fights.. From the info on his powers his extreme seems perfect to make damage and heal the party, and with the resurrect ally skill and ravaging flame make GR a perfect boss support/all around character! Can't wait to use the penance stare as finisher...

I couldn't believe how much GR could wipe out with that chain, almost put Thor to shame. lol

What are Grs powers in the MUA game

Ravaging flame: autotargeting, high range (even outside screen, and on different height levels too!) flame engulfing move, very similar to Diablo's one. Great fire based damage, plus subsequent burning damage, insane damage if charged(yes, it can be even charged! and while you do so you can change target/rotate GR).

Chain flechette: GR grabs his chain, and breaks it in front of him in multiple chain links, hurling them in a wide, short arc, causing fire damage and monstruous knockback damage with 100% on airborne opponents. It's kind of a shotgun move..

Fiendish chain: another great ranged attack, only Daredevil has one similar to it. GR extend his chain VERY far (if there's enemies around, even this one has autotarget) grab a enemy (it works also on little object) then it pulls him back towards GR, with good chain based damage. If charged, the extended chain remains in place while you keep pressing the button, immobilizing the target (although it doesn't work on bosses) and allowing the other guys of the party to beting the crap out of the unfortunate minion, before GR finishes him by pulling him back.. the charged pull is so powerful that sometimes i hurl the opponent very high and behind GR...:D

Chains of retribution: a radial attack with swirling chains and fire, if charged can popup enemies, good setup for chain flechette.

Fear: GR kind of screams moving the skull in disturbing ways, causing enemies around him damage and to run away from him terrorized, with lowered defences, great for crowd control.

Damnation: GR shoots a stream of hellfire from his right palm, every enemy struck by this catch fire and starts to run maniacally around, setting afire every other enemy he touches and slowly burning. If you keep pressed the button you can continue the firethrowing experience until you want/energy runs out, rotating in place GR.. great move for total hellfire CHAOS with storms of enemies in little spaces :D

Penance stare: i think this thing is the only dedicated boss killing move in the game. A short ranged, almost throw distance flash of GR eyes causing, for a time(50 seconds at least) every damage done by GR on the enemy to return as GR health... Awesome move as finisher, GR can this way fight bosses without fear....:D

Throw+ strong attack: i put also this because i consider it almost a special move... GR launch the enemy high in air then catches him with the chain and slam him down two or three meters in front of him, then again and again and again untile the enemy is dead. You can change direction of every slam, and GR moves also forward a bit each time. And naturally, you can slam the guy OVER other enemies, or breakable things. :D

Normally i use Ravaging Flame, Fiendish chain and penance stare, but in some stages (like hell, where fire/elemental resistant critters are more common) i use the Chain of retribution/chain flechette combo...
Also chain flechette is really good after an uppercut combo!

My only concern about xbox360 version of MUA is that to play it with its maximum resolution, to appreciate better its textures, and actually see well your characters, you need a HDTV...i play it at my friend's home on a 17" monitor because on normal tv the definition is not good, so we have to play very near the screen to see better what happens on it^^;

I have also the pc version, and probably it's a better choiche since they already modded it with adding colossus and Moonknight, the nextg gen excluxive, and the psp exclusive are on the way, plus in this version with some tweakings i can play with a perfect Doctor Doom as Iron Man skin!!

Actually teh PSP has the bigger list of characters: 4 exclusives(Captain marvel, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Ronin), against the 2 exclusives of next gen consoles(Moonknight and Colossus).
Yet potentially, the PC version can have all these exclusives...
Next gen has the better graphics, no doubt, but PC version is quite good. Surely better than XML2, and the current gen versions... But to really enjoy next gen graphics i recommend a BIG hdtv.
I'm really going blind...=_=
Also on PC version you can zoom in and out, not in 360 version, i wonder why....

Apparently you DO ride at least up one skyscraper like in the movie, for it is the "gate" to hell in the game, but i doubt is free roam... I too hope you can use the bike outside thoose "tracks", in the "god of war" like levels, maybe as short speed boost, or only to do big jumps, or better remote control the bike like Capt America shield in Marvel Ultimate Alliance: that would be fabulous! Just imagine: you someway fill the "bike bar" or some kind of system to abilitate it use, then GR calls/creates the bike then it's to you how to use it: drive over enemies or get out and control it to do long range damage, heck there could be some awesome combos, with the bike assist to rebounce back to you the enemies...

but yeah it doesnt look like the movie skull....that ok. many times the promo images differs slightly from the actual movie character.
its the same skull they had before on a few other promo ads for the game and its used on the Visual Guide as well.

It's probably not free roam from what we've seen but I'm hoping it's still pretty lengthy.

Perhaps we'll get a free roam later on. I think the makers of the game want you to be GHOST RIDER...not the Hell Cycle. As long as Ghost Rider can fight and kick ass I'll be fine.

And just because you can use the Hell Cycle freely doesn't mean it won't be awful.

You can ride the Hellcycle, or be on foot whenever you feel like it. Cause all kinds of "Hell" around the city. Beat the CRAP out of criminals. Stuff like that. Superhero games should all be free roaming. It makes you feel like an actual hero having a free roam area.

Every next-gen console is now out on the market (360's been there for OVER a year). No major games (LET ALONE MAJOR MOTION-PICTURE LICENSED GAMES) should be coming out exclusively for old-gen consoles.
