The oldest comic I own is from 1968 It features the Debut of Barbara Gordon as Batgirl.
Unfortunatly it is in dutch.

I have Detective comics almost complete from 586 till present.
Batman from 422 till present.

I focus on comics mostly, but once and a while I pick up a collective.

It's the Highlander Sword as a shrine for "Brenda".
It's actually real steel, welded together. The handle is made from a shovel handle.

I just bought an old NES system with the Batman game.
And I did just buy the Batman Animated Lost Years miniserie's a 5 parter.
Good solid stories. It clears up some problems between the books and the cartoon shows.
I wan't to get my hands on any Batman Animated book there is.
So far I'm doing ok.

Ja ik ben bij Mechanic geweest maar die is veel te duur.
In amsredam betaal ik 1,50 voor een comic die daar 3 eurie kost.
Mechanic is wel een mooie shop.

Brussel heeft meer comics shops. Ook een paar hele goeie.

hi there just me again,just to tell you that i have a collection of american comics from my 12 birthday and i think its know about a 2000 comics and hard covers, not only batman , but also spiderman, superman, x-men,robin,nightwing,flash,jla,fan.4, venom all the ultimated series, video's and dvd' comic related, about 30 statues, its a huge collection and its taken all the free space in my appartment, btw im now 38 so its cost me 26 years to collect, iff sombody know ,how i can post here pictures ,just let me know and i try , and next year i gone open my own comicshop ,probebly on april the first in herentals ( belgium) so iff anybody got good advice , let me know ..... thx ;)

It is the poster unfortunatly.

And I collected this stuff over the years, most of it wasn't really expensive.
The most expensive stuff were the statues. The Animated one cost me 180 Euro's. I had that statue in the trunk of my car during a crash (my car was totalled) but due to very good packaging it survived!!!:)

Yeah, but you've got to look at it that there hasnt been much of an audience for Batman, but with the movie, you should look at how much coverage X-Men and Spiderman got and then thats about how much stuff will hit you for BEGINS, well thats my take on it! :)

Yeah mostly, I prefer comic defense bags over those from Pro, since they are tougher and fit backerboards real nice.
If you have a lot of big TPB's buy some golden age bags (comic defense), they are a bit bigger.
