Hey, I'm back again and yet this is just a teaser post as of yet, it will be updated in the future with the full screenplay and another talented merchandising poster made by Barney.
But, first I have to thank a few people, once again:
Thanks to DC comics for creating the Batman character
Thanks to the creators of Batman Beyond
Thanks to Barney for the poster for the first film
Thanks to the writers of Smallville, whose show I have been currently watching and have inspired me in some ways with how to expand upon Batman Beyond. Which means, less fight scenes- but, the intensity will hopefully still be there just the same.
Also in this board I will state the songs that I used for the soundtrack, if you wish to make your own copy. These songs I spent some time looking for and have finally found.
The screenplay is near completion, and trust me there will be several twists in the story- as well as great cameos, and well..... just wait and read.
Once again, give as much feed back as possible, on this or more first screenplay (BATMAN BEYOND). Due to the fact that my trilogy (yep you hear me right, where do you think I got the name?) will later be sent to WB after I hav established myself as a sucessful director and story teller through my Soul Avenger epic that will put a new perspective on the world around you (it's about a super hero, but trust me- it's an epic, been working on it for 6 years now- yep, 6 years...... I have as much passion for this as Jackson had for LOTR and Lucas had for Star Wars (I am not stating that it will ever be equal to their epics)). But, anyways.... sorry for side tracking- after I establish myself I will send these early drafts into WB and propose to them how Batman Beyond the movie can be made. Which right now they have great uncertainty about, due to the fact that it was a cartoon. Instead, I think it best if it were looked as an original comic book character that was first introduced in a cartoon and is capable of having alot of emotion, which this screenplay will further the point.
The original screenplay I had to stick to a strict guideline, more or less- in that it was an origin story. Now I am able to make the film that I always wanted to make. So, expect less action sequences- but, trust me the end pays off for that.... I'm not going to say what happens- just that it's one of the biggest fights since we all saw Yoda handle a lightsaber.
So sit back, relax- talk about the first film.... talk about the Batman Beyond series itself. And enjoy.

OPEN TO BLACK
EXT. GOTHAM STREETS- NIGHT
Nash was still hugging against his car looking up towards the Golem who has stopped in front of him. The Golem looks down and sends it’s big robotic claw forward so that it faced Nelson right in his face- the claw shuts and opens and then twists…
NASH
Who are you?
Nash is sure he can hear the laughing from his mechanical opponent- he quickly gets back up… jumps into his car and drives off in a hurry… the Golem begins to run towards it, stomping far into the ground with each step.
IN A CITY FULL OF DANGER
INT. GOTHAM CITY- APARTMENTS- JACOB’S APARTMENT
In the darkness we can see Spellbinder looking down towards Jacob as he (Jacob- the dean of Hamilton High) was cutting himself with the blade, blood- briefly oozing out.
THERE IS ONLY ONE NAME YOU CAN COUNT ON
EXT. GOTHAM CITY
Terry and Dana walk along the park looking up towards the stars above them.
PAXTON (V.O.)
Batman!!!!!
INT. GOTHAM UNIVERISTY- PHYSCHOLOGY
One of the many students was Terry McGinnis. He was around 19 years old, had a great life, and the world’s darkest secret. Psychology wasn’t a class he picked, his mentor picked it- Bruce Wayne, known to the rest of the world by one name Batman. At the front of the room was Terry’s teacher PROFESSOR MILES LANDON.
MILES
Willie Watt, he was a college of yours, such emotions are natural. I can’t say that such a thing ever happened to myself, but I know what it would feel like if it did.
TERRY
It’s just, why would he do it?
MILES
What exactly do you mean Terry?
TERRY
Willie Watt, why would he do it? Why would he steal the protocol of the Golem- and wreak havoc on the city… it just doesn’t make sense, he was always the quiet- calm kid at school, nothing ever set him off… sure he had problems with Nash- but, never would he go this far.
MILES
My father used to have a saying- you can trust everyone, the only thing you can’t trust is the devils inside them.
Jake Gyllenhaal
INT. ARKHAM ASYLUM- CELL
Willie Watt was rocking back and forth inside of his caged cell, the bars around him had trapped him in the hell that he was shoved into. The walls were all gray, everything was the same… everything seemed worse, somehow than isolation. A guard walks by and taps on Watt’s cell…
GUARD
You have a visitor…
The Guard stands there while Terry McGinnis follows the other guard in and sits in the provided seat. Willie seemed somewhat grateful for seeing an old face. Terry looks behind him and clears his throat and the guards walk away…
WILLIE
You’re brave, not many are willing to stay here without the guards.
TERRY
I trust you.
WILLIE
You do?
TERRY
What happened that night Willie? The night that the Golem attacked?
WILLIE
People keep on telling me what happened, their stories are all so different… that I even stopped trying to figure out what actually did happened…
TERRY
So, you don’t remember what happened that night? Anything at all?
WILLIE
All I remember was waking up in Arkham…
EXT. WAYNE- POWERS- FRONT ENTRANCE
The first floor of the Wayne-Powers Industries was easily accessible, the first floor was used as a tour. Thus, when Ira showed up- it was no wonder he was able to simply open the door and walk in.
INT. WAYNE- POWERS- FIRST FLOOR- MAIN ENTRANCE
The nearest security guard saw Ira and walks towards him…
GUARD
Excuse me, may I help you?
IRA
Yes, I’m looking for a Mr. Paxton Powers
GUARD
Do you have an appointment?
IRA
No.
GUARD
If you wish to talk to him, Mr.?
IRA
Ira, Ira Billings
GUARD
Well, Mr. Billings- if you wish to talk to Mr. Powers, you’re going to have to schedule an appointment like everyone else.
Ira looks forward and can see a class of Middle School students on their field trip, he looks back towards the guard and his eyes begin to light up.
IRA
I’m afraid I can’t do that- you will lead me to his office now, no questions asked.
INT. WAYNE- POWERS- PAXTON’S OFFICE ROOM
Paxton was continuing to work on the very important paper work when he hears the door open he looks up and he can see Ira walking in.
IRA
I came to strike a deal- a business opportunity, one that will set the world on fire as we know it.
PAXTON
Continue…
IRA
Mind control… think about it, the wave of the future- virtual reality the newest drug to ever hit the markets. The possibilities are endless, the money comes to our pockets faster than you can say Dr. Seuss, if you haven’t noticed we both have something in common- we are both over our heads… on one hand I have been blamed for the recent deaths over at Hamilton High, you on the other hand loath the man that took your father’s life… we can strike a deal, here- right now… you help finance my project, I help you kill the man that you’ve wanted buried since your father’s murder… Batman- that is, if we work together.
Paxton looks out the window.
PAXTON
What makes you think you can kill Batman?
Paxton looks back towards Ira who grins…
IRA (V.O.)
The exact reason why I know the true identity of your father.
Paxton’s eyes dart back and forth unknowing of what had just happened. Ira grins.
KEVIN SPACEY
INT. BATCAVE
BRUCE
Some things, we are never meant to know. I know what you’re going through Terry… it happened to me before, a profile that matched… but, a person that I knew was different than what he had become…
Bruce looks towards the statue of the Scarecrow.
BRUCE
In the end, life has unexpected turns and tests.
PAUL NEWMAN
INT. WAYNE-POWERS INDUSTRIES- BOTTOM FLOOR- SUB-BASEMENT
The man led Paxton through the sub-basement, which for many years has remained un-used. Cobwebs were scattered all over the room, but still there was a sense of grandeur that filled the halls. The hallways exited into what could only be described as a military compound. The top- coming from the hallways was leveled, but after that a ramp led down and into another room which was blocked by bullet proof glass. There was only one entranceway into the room. But, inside of the room there was a pair of stairs- one on both sides of the wall that led to an alcove above with more electrical equipment, but the best item in the room was the large orb generator cornering the right wall. The were five gigantic cylinder shaped fat poles that glowed a bluish color, surrounding the orbs were staircases leading around the orbs and platforms ontop what could only be described as an extra layer. Paxton is finally led out of the hallways and he looks around in amazement.
PAXTON
Why didn’t some one tell me about this place?
MAN
You’re father thought it would be better if you knew only when it was necessary… that huge orb in the right generates your father’s life… if those orbs ever are to malfunction, your father will be permanently dead.
PAXTON
This is some kind of sick joke isn’t it? Why did you bring me here, my father is dead- and no technological advancements can bring him back to life…
MAN
Exactly, but in essence he can return. This is no joke Paxton, your father was working on a project before he died… many considered him to be losing his mind, he called it the wave of the future- I was among one of his few supporters that saw the potential in such an odd and overly imaginative piece of equipment… come- come…
The man next leads Paxton into the room surrounded by glass, also known as the BRAIN HEADQUARTERS or simply BHQ
INT. WAYNE-POWERS INDUSTRIES- BOTTOM FLOOR- SUB-BASEMENT- BHQ
Paxton looks towards the orbs and he takes it all in… then he looks towards the man who was now in the second room above typing on a keyboard when all of a sudden the ground below him begins to shake and then out of the floor rises a rectangular piece of metal, the metal opens up to reveal a brain.
MAN
That brain, still contains your father’s very own life force… a couple of more buttons pressed and your father will live forever.
Then the man presses more buttons and the rectangular Brain Box descends back into the ground.
PAXTON
Bring him back!!!! Bring him back!!!!
MAN
When you’re ready.
JUMP SHOT:
INT. BLACK SCREEN
We can hear the generators of the brain box beginning, as an eerie voice comes over the screen, one than brings back memories.
DEREK (V.O.)
Just when I thought you were dead…
JUMP SHOT:
INT. WAYNE-POWERS INDUSTRIES- BOTTOM FLOOR- SUB-BASEMENT- BHQ
An injured Batman, standing on a platform next to a blue generator looks towards the camera.
INT. BLACK SCREEN
NICHOLAS CAGE
EXT. GOTHAM CITY
The Batmobile flies over the city, which was in ruins… raging floods and electricity flowing everywhere.
BATMAN BEYOND 2: THE TOMORROW KNIGHT
FADE TO CREDITS
TERRY (V.O.)
I’m afraid that ever since I became Batman, I was no longer Terry McGinnis- but, just a symbol… a symbol of a bat-
COMING TO A BOARD NEAR YOU

The main focal story is LOST SOUL, which is an episode of the cartoon series. I'm not going to specifically say what aspects of it I used and didn't use- but, this is the main backround story (similarly to how Spidey # 50 (Spider-Man:No More) was the main focus backround story for Spider-Man 2).
Although, I was able to expertly fit in almost all of the characters from the first film- Nicholas Cage will not once again play the primary villain. Instead, it is Kevin Spacey who lends himself to the eerie role of Gotham's new meance to fear Spellbinder, if you know the character- you probably would understand where I am coming from with casting in mind.
So, now I pose this question to you- (sort of interactive)
Help Terry McGinnis, what defines Batman? Is it the mask or the man behind the mask? What is your opinion, and when the screenplay comes to the boards the answer will be posted (which was provided for by the cartoon itself.)
And check back soon because the soundtrack listing will soon be added. To start.
Tomorrow- SR 71
Which is the main song of the film.
