I don't think there are many Ghost Rider sites..

One reason I started one, since I was always looking for GR news, with no success.. but now.. it's all there!

And we all love the IGR site! The work you put into it is truly appreciated by the huge GR fans out there... like me.

Did you check out the WolfeFam's Ghost Rider Character Listing? Man,that's pretty freakin' detailed. There is a whack of info there... though pourly designed and layed out. I'd like to redo a page with that info on it....

More through the HTML aspect of the page, the design of a page, or all of the above type experience?

Any help would be greatly accepted and appreciated..

All of the above, my friend. I've been making websites for years. Nothing complicated or perfect or anything. Ones for my music alias TiGG, for various theatre companies I've worked for, general information pages... all kinds of crazy stuff. I have a few ideas how that character database would work.

Besides that, my Girlfriend is a brilliant web designer who can answer my questions. She's the one who designed my professional acting webiste (link in sig), which is absolutly beautiful. I love it.

By the way, love the new Avatar. Craked me up for a few minutes. Now that's what I call a Flamehead! ha.

Haha.. Flamehead indeed!

Anyways, that would be awesome..

Mind if I put you in charge of the database section of characters...

You can come up with the design, navigation, and anything else the page requires including the Bios.. and elsewhat..

Of course, I'll help too.. but having another person to help out on the site would be great!

I have it started by the way. It's going to be a pretty big operation, but I'll get through it. By the way, do you have any idea who's collected all the information found on those websites?

Great find FH!!...
and yes that Mephisto pics rocks :)

but check out the origin for Blackheart! i never did find the issue of Daredevil that introduced him...but from the sound of his origin i gotta find it! very cool how BH was born not from Mephisto but from the violence and evil from man himself...very cool.
"Blackheart is the "son" of Mephisto, the demonic ruler of a Hell-like netherworld. Blackheart was not conceived through the normal biological procedure as human children; instead Blackheart's "birth" was triggered by a series of violent incidents that took place on a hill in the small city of Christ's Crown.
In 1658, a woman named Abigail Housman was brutally murdered on the Christ's Crown Hill. Her blood soaked the land for many hours before she was found, and a large murder of crows circled the spot around her dead body. The hill had since been considered to be a place of evil, and in the following centuries countless atrocities were reputed to have taken place on it. Eventually, large, twisted, multi-thorn rose bushes with black trunks began to grow around the Christ's Crown Hill which in recent years had become a popular dare spot, a place to hold séances, and make out area by teenagers. However, each visit to the hill always seemed to result to more bloody tragedies.
Some time ago, a young man called Peter took his girlfriend Sarah on the top of the Christ's Crown Hill. When Sarah refused Peter's advances, he tried to force himself on his girlfriend. The violence and selfishness of this act was absorbed into the hill and united with the negative residual energy of all the other atrocities that had ever been committed on the Christ's Crown Hill over the past centuries. This caused the negative energy to reach critical mass, resulting to a small explosion on the top of the hill. Part of the negative energy released in the explosion inexplicably managed to gain sentience, and physical form, becoming the creature that would later become known as Blackheart."

That is an awesome creation of a character. I had no idea that he was that complex. I wonder will they touch on any of that in the movie? I mean, they're gonna have to do some introduction on the bad guys.

I'm alwasys searchin' for new Ghost Rider things and I'll be sure to post anything new I find, though I'm mostly searchin' for images. The problem I have now is that I'm almost out of popular search engines.

As for the text, yeah I thought it might be hard to read at times and may end up changing it in time. I like it as headings though I know if it were all in blue, it would be impossible to view. Thanks for letting me know. If there is ever anything you wish to add or suggest, let me know.

We won't flame ya (nice choice in words), no worries. That site is quite awesome for Ghost Rider information... but, it's not complete. It does have a lot of the lesser known characters... and in time they'll all be encorperated in the Giant Sized Ghost Rider Reference. The ones that aren't there already, that is.

Thor bumped into him once when he was trying to set up a civilian identity with the help of Nick Fury after his ability to change into Donald Blake was taken away (by Odin, I think).

For those wondering, his Marvel profile is found here: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/kentclrk.htm

He also had an appearance within the pages of Ghost Rider, Vol 2.

From that same profile:
(Ghost Rider III #26) - Walking along the street, Lois and Clark were attacked by Blackout, who was on the run from Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance. Clark attempted to protect Lois, saying, "Stand back, Lo! This is a job for --!" When Ghost Rider appeared, Blackout grabbed Clark and threatened to kill him. Ghost Rider transformed back into his mortal alter ego, Dan Ketch, causing the killer to drop Clark in favor of a new target. But then, Ghost Rider returned and subdued the killer. Clark and Lois hugged each other as Ghost Rider carried Blackout away.

Does anyone know why Clark Kent and Lois Lane appeared in the Marvel comics?

Nope. That site is for lesser known characters.

For Mephisto, go here: http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/m/mephisto.htm

As for Blackheart, there is no really good profile on him anywhere that I can find but, there is a mini one here; http://www.geocities.com/Area51/8713/ghost14.html#Blackheart

Wow, thanks for the kind words Batman88. Very nice of you to say such things... however, I wouldn't say I know the most about the character. I know a lot but there a few others who know just as much, or more. I do have a keen sense on where to find information about him though and am willing to go look for that information for any question posed.

I would love to be a mod of the section. I already do send pm's to a certain mod every couple of weeks with cleanup and merging suggestions. For now, that's all that's needed in the section. Having said that, there's a few others here that deserve the job as well (like BigGun and MarvelMovies, for 2).

Anyway, thanks again for the nice words and if there is anything I can do to help, I will.

Wow, I hadn't realised Clark made so many appearances at Marvel. I remeber Supes showing up at Captain Marvel's funeral but that was it.

Yeah, I never realized that either until coming accross that profile. I guess the guys at Marvel just wanted to pay respect for DC's greatest and most wellknown character.

Now, the question is, Did any Marvel Characters ever show up in the DC universe like that?

Was it during the DC vs Marvel thing?... or actually in one of Batman's runs?

(... if Batman had the runs... that suit would be hell...)

http://giantsizedghostrider.co.nr/

http://ghostrider.omegacen.com/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Rider

that last site is pretty informative. Vengeance Unbound had a great section detailing GR's history but alas it was all lost when the site went down :(
right now i think those 4 are the main ones...could be more out there but i havent come across them yet

Hahah!

You're right FH.

Kinda funny that all 3 sites of the Ghost Rider Network have moved atleast once now.

VU has changed links and servers several times -- though now has found a great host it seems.

IGR has changed servers and links also; definitely permanent.

GSGRR was once on the same host as IGR, but has since moved on on as well.

Kinda funny.... in a way?

FlameHead

Indeed. I guess all good thing need change once and a while.

Speakin' of the GSGRR; I really wish I had time to finish my update but, it seems I've taken too much on these days. I'll get there though...

MarvelMovies

I know what you mean.

At first, I just had Internapse.com. Then I created IGR, then GamesToFilm, then IDBZ, then Marvel Gateway, then Captain America (which has barely gotten off the ground), and also am doing Fantastic411.... um, I think that's all of them!

Hahah! Though, I'm mainly focusing on IGR at the moment (see as how none of the other sites have been updated in seemingly forever!)

:D

It will, as you said, get there eventually.

FlameHead

I have no freakin' idea how you can possibly keep up with all that. I have trouble keeping my 3 or 4 blogs updated and that's just an article now and again.

I'm sure happy you're able to though MM. That IGR site is a valuable resource to GR fans. The rest of your sites I couldn't care less about though.

hehe. Just kidding.
