Well i dont know about the second picture but the choke that Batman does,is called Rear naked choke or in Brazilian ''Mata leon'' which means lion kill or kill the lion...i have seen documentaries in which people are putting to sleep lions this way...so Batman is as realistic as they come :o :o :ninja: :woot: :woot:

Actually in Brazil, the official language it's Portuguese.
It is called 'mata leão', 'mata leon' would be in Spanish.

But yes, if applied correctly, it can put to sleep a lion. The problem would be how to get there, in a position where you can apply it, before getting chewed like bubble gum by the lion. :woot:
However, with the right amount of preptime, this could be done. ;)

Anime is FAR from my favorite style of animation (in fact, I think very little anime is even watchable) but I can't see why it couldn't be one of the styles of animation Batman stories are told in.

A lot of anime specialises in telling dark stories set in huge, gritty, nighttime cities with obsessed anti-heroes seeking revenge or justice with ninja-like prowess and an array of funky weapons. How is that NOT Batman?

I can understand some people disliking the style for the way it looks or moves, but it's pretty rediculous to say it's a style unbefitting Batman.

If anything, I prefer real anime to that faux "Americanime" style of Jeff Matsuda's ("The Batman")...

well, but he is certainly a guy who gives up a good life he could have to prevent others from suffering pain... well I think that's heroic and as anti-anti-heroic as it can get.

That was just one design and frankly the worst one. The other 5 Batman designs are badass.

I do love the other designs, especially the Animated Series looking one and the Batman Begins/Dark Knight looking suit. I actually like this version, theres a few versions similar to this Ive seen it gives him the Sherlock Holmes detective look, I like the way theyre giving him different suits and looks in the anime, its always cooler to have more interpretations that way everyone will be satisfied.
