Thats a piece Allred did for some magazine when most of the Batman Begins cast was announced. As you can see there's Michael Caine and Katie Holmes who resemble their real life counterparts quite nicely. The other likenesess aren't that great.

Thing is - there was no precedent for rubber nipples, or any of the wardrobe and production design prior to the film.

It's one thing to call it a stereotype, it's another to call it when it hadn't even existed in the first place, but because the style is 'flamboyant', and one stereotype of gays are that they can tend to be flamboyant, so the correlation must then be created, and quite overly too.

Blue pencil doesnt show up as much when photocopied.
