The New and Improved "Heroes vs. Villains: Marvel" RPG

*Nick Fury notices that everyone's gone when he wakes up from his knock out...*

"Avengers, this is Fury. Reconvene at the Triskelion. Over and out"

"Photon here Fury. Meet you there as soon as I wrap up things here. Out." Photon responds using her powers.

Then she looks back at Cyclops (who probally heard Photon's side of the conversation). "It never stops raining doesn't it."

OOC: I want a funeral when some of these stories are over... is Doom's plotline over for now?

"You shall have your word with Fury, father."

With that, Pietro snatches up his Avengers Priority card and abrubtly exits.

While crossing the Mediterranean, the priority card receives a transmission. The voice is unmistakeable: "Avengers, this is Fury. Reconvene at the Triskelion. Over and out."

Pietro smiles to himself and changes course to follow the transmission. Arriving at the coordinates, Pietro activates his cards communicator:

"Colonel Fury, this is Pietro Maximoff. I would have audience with you to offer my services. Once an Avenger, always an Avenger. Awaiting transport. Out."

Pietro smiles and awaits Fury's call.

"Quicksilver? Haven't seen you in a while... intel says you're heading to New York, and knowing you you always run in a straight line. My calculations say you were coming from Genosha... what business would you have there?"

*In the Triskelion, Fury's twenty highly decorated SHIELD soldiers surround Fury as protection*

"Family business, Colonel. Trying, unsuccessfully I might add, to sway my father from his genocidal schemes," Pietro replies. " I believe we may be able to help one another, Fury. Now either admit me, or refuse, just don't waste my time. Patience is NOT one of my virtues."

*As Deadpool flies toward Genosha he decideds to put the Blackbird on autopilot and takes a look around. He comes to an equipment storage area.*

"Oh I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Wiener, because that is what I truly long to be...

*Deadpool picks up a ton of weapons and finds a couple of spare X-Men uniforms.*

"...And if I was an Oscar Meyer Wiener then everyone would try to eat me and I don't think that I would appreciate that to much. But if I were a hot dog I would be tasty...

*He spots a uniform to his liking and decides to put it on.*

"...delicious."

*Deadpool now looks like half X-Man/Mercenary...*

In the disguise of a pregnant woman, Taskmaster decides to scout the area to see if his targets were in the vicinity.

OOC: KK said they were in an alley by the airport, right?

[Priest]

OOC: Yup

OOC: Sweet.

IC: Taskmaster is walking through the area when he spots a van parked in an alley nearby. There were some familiar voices coming from inside. Voices Taskmaster would never forget.

"Gotcha."

Suddenly, Taskmaster deactivates his holographic disguise and pulls an M16 from being strapped on his back. He begins firing bullets through the van's shell at a rate of 350 rounds per second, punching hundreds of holes through the van's surface. He unloads the whole clip and reloads with flawless skill.

OOC: I'm not saying I killed anyone in there, just that I pretty much destroyed the van they were in.

"My mom was right, blondes do have more fun! And i'm sure glad i'm with one!"

*As his is leaning towards Psylocke.*

"That's right, your mother seems to be an intelligent woman."

*He prepares himself for some lip lockage, when they are both interupted by a call from Fury.*

OOC:Taskmaster looking at them from the road into the ally?
I had been looking for some time and saw no sign of them.
Frank slows the car down so a pregnant woman can cross the street.
Then he removes his hand from his wounded side.
I had lost a lot a blood, but that wasn't going stop me from finishing off Bullseye and Doc ock.
Frank had just placed his hands back on the wheel when all of a sudden the pregnant woman turned into Taskmaster and began to fire into a alley.
Looks like I found what I wanted.
He reved up the engine then pealed out, charging in the direction of Taskmaster in hopes of running him over.
A mercenary taking up some of Osborns bounties.
Unlike him I don't need cash to kill.

Bullseye had been waiting for Electro and Venom to reply to The Doc's question, when the van suddenly began to be blown apart by a hail of bullets.

"Damn it! Get down!"

Bullseye fell to the ground, his face pressed against the floor of the van. He realised just there was a splatter of Mary-Jane's blood right next to him, which nearly made him throw up. But he controlled himself, and kept completely still until the gunfire stopped.

Grabbing the sniper rifle, Bullseye scrambled to his feet. he peered cautiously out of the shattered window in the back of the van, and spotted his old friend, The Taskmaster reloading. Bullseye gave a faint smile of admiration, only to notice a battered car with The Punisher at the wheel heading towards The Taskmaster. That was there chance. He turned round to his teammates.

"It's The Taskmaster shooting at us. But he's sorta distracted by The Punisher at the moment. You can debate about being part of the team later. We have to get out of here....NOW!"

OOC - Sorry for my absence GhostRider. As said previously I have a pregnant wife at home and a death in the family and work constraints. Not the best two weeks but I am back now. :)

CARNAGE:

* He laid under a ton of rubble. His body hurt all over as if he had been burned. SHifting rock and mortar he climbed out. Staggering he made his way down the alley. Everything was fuzzy, who was he, what was his name? More importantly how did he manage to get stuck in this predicament? As he walked he looked down to the ratty shirt and pants he was wearing and thought how odd that he would dress like such a slob. Instantly his clothes change to a more dressed appearance. Fear mixed with a hint of excitment crossed his mind. How in the @?!$ did I do that he thought to himself? Suddenly he heard a woman's voice further up the alley. *

" Woman: Stop theif!!! "

* He walked forward and witnessed a theif with a gun pointed at the woman demanding her purse and jewlery. He walked up to the thief and a voice rang in his head, destroy the innocent make her bleed! He felt revolted and without thinking struck the thief knocking him flying into the far wall with a bone breaking crunch driving the thief unconscience. *

" Woman: thank you, thank you so very much, the woman replied with tears in her eyes. "

* The voice in his head spoke up again, Kill her make her bleed!!! He grabbed his head and fleed the area leaving a bewildered woman standing there crying. What was happening to him and what was this voice in his head? *

The cab took off at high speed down the street.Ock looked back at Venom and Electro impatiently."I am heading to the airport gentleman.I can afford no further distractions or interferences.Are you in or are you out?"

"If we are able to locate the viral bombs, I can deposit them within an uninhabited Astral reality."


Strange continued, "I will need to summon some aid."

CARNAGE:

* He walked through the unfamiliar city with a pounding in his head. Why would that voice be screaming for blood? How does that fit with the ability to change clothes with a thought and where was he going to sleep? As he walked he staggered into traffic and a sense of danger exploded in his brain on pure instinct he lept into the air and shot out a webline swinging to safety in the shadows of an alley with onlookers pointing and shouting. He had to escape, weblines just like a spider, he thought, well maybe I can do other things like a spider? He ran and jumped at the wall of the adjacent building leaping to the second story and sticking. He almost fell from the shock and the voice inside his head screamed in an elated YES! He proceeded to climb the building to the roof and sat down shaking. The wind blew a newspaper into his leg and he picked it up. On the front of it was a picture of Spider-man and the caption read, Spider-man Saves City. That's it, he thought, I must be Spider-man! As he concentraited his clothes began to change and a mask formed showing the very same costume as the one of the paper. *

Rogue can see the Island in the distance looking like a little dark speck on the water. As they grew ever closer it enlarged and elongated taking the shape of all to familer Genosha.

"Well, here we are." She said placing Bobby down on the beach and then letting her feet touch the sand. "Ah don't expect too much of a warm welcome." Turning to Bobby "Wasn't all that bad was it now Sugah?" She teased.

Glancing around she asks "What now?"

Hearing Punisher's car engine rev loudly behind him, Taskmaster looks behind him and suddenly does a backflip, landing on the car's roof. He pulls out his sword and slices through the roof's metal so that he can talk to Frank.

"Punisher?! What the hell do you think you're doing? Do you have any idea who those people were that I was shooting at? They were criminals! I'm doing your job for you!"

Taskmaster looks up to see the bounties leaving the scene.

"Dammit."

Knowing Spider-man was not in his right sense of mind Ghost rider keeps close visual on him.

Which was not hard seeing that ghost rider could ride at super fast speed but some how or another he lost him.

I can not belive I lost him wait if I get to the sinister 4 I will find spider man"

Turning a corner going in the direction of the sinister 4 he sees a guy on top of a car attacking it with a sword. Knowing he had a little time before spider man reached the sinister 4 he decides to help who ever is in the car.

Riding at a fast speed ghost rider takes his chain and wraps it around the guy in the mask as he goes by and stop the bike in front of the car pulling the chain and the guy with him as he stops. Taking a chance to look around he finally sees who is in the car and it is the punisher and he is bleeding bad.

"Punisher are you ok, what is with you whenever i see you you seem to be in worst shape then the last time" Getting off the bike he walks toward the guy wrapped in the chain

WHy dont you try fighting me as he says this he unwraps the chain and waits for the guy to make his first move

Spider-man swung as fast as he could, and landed right on top of the van.

Then he ripped the roof off.

"YOU!" Spider-man yelled as he saw Bullseye lying on the floor.

"YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!" Spider-man yelled, and wrapped Bullseye up with webbing. He tied one end of the webbing around his waist, and crawled as fast as spider-humanly possible to the top of a roof. He then threw Bullseye to the other end of the roof, and leapt after him. He landed with two feet on each side of Bullseye, and one hand on his throat.

"YOU!" Spider-man yelled again.

"You murdered my wife. You murdered my family. You murdered my life!" Spider-man said in a deadly whisper.

"And I'm going to return the favor." Spider-man said as he began to squeeze...

*Knowing that he has been given the cold shoulder, stops and looks out into the front window. He sees an island and some people on the coast. He goes to the monitors and asks the computer to magnify on the coast ten times. He looks at the magnify image, it was the X-men.*

"Looks like we are approaching Genosha, and I believe your comrades got there before us, let's land right next to them."

Daredevil landed behind Spider-Man and said, "Peter! Listen to me" (Not trying to stop him from letting go of Bullseye) He continued, "I know what you are going through...believe me I do. He killed 2 women that I loved...and not a day has gone by that I don't curse Bullseye's very existence and dream of a thousand ways for him to die. Now granted I wasn't married to either but I loved them as much as you loved MJ. You kill him then you cross a line that you can never return from and you prove Jameson right. All those years he called you a criminal you'll prove him right. Can you live with that? All day and most of last night I tried to save you from Ock and his crew...but I can't save you from you...you're an adult...if you want to kill Bullseye...go ahead. I can't make this decision for you."

Daredevil took a step back and watched. Please Peter do the right thing...don't force me to do something I may regret later.

Norman glided to Dare-devil “and the 1000 ways of killing Bulls eye, did one invole a van?”

Frank opened the door to the car and plopped out onto the street.
Using all his strength he brought himself back onto his feet.
I had heard a lot about Taskmaster, had a long list of enemies.
Frank rose his pistol up, taking aim.
It would be best to add me to that list.

Bullseye gasped. His eyes were rolling up in his head. Was this how he was going to die? Surely there were worse ways to die than being strangled. This wasn't so bad. He probably deserved to die. He could just close his eyes and let it happen...

Bullseye snapped back into consciousness. he wasn't about to let himself he killed by some kid! From underneath the webbing, Bullseye gripped onto the other sai on his belt, and sliced through the webbing with it. He kicked Spider-Man and rolled backwards, landing on his feet.

He looked around. He was faced with Spider-Man, Daredevil and Osborn. All of them wanted him dead. "After you," he thought to himself, "After you." He couldn't fight all three of them. He was going to have to try and talk his way out of this.

"I murdered your wife? I MURDERED HER!? No, Parker, I didn't. I stuck the sai in her belly, a sai just like this one, but I didn't kill her. No, you murdered her!"

Bullseye looked round. None of them were making a move. They were obviously listening to what he had to say. For now.

"Where the hell were you, when she needed you? Do you know how long I had her kept in my hideout, what I had the chance to do to her? What kind of pathetic scum would leave their wife with a monster like me?"

Bullseye looked across at Osborn.

"And I traded her off to you. For what? A mask? Parker, when she was...with me, when this nutjob here had her in his lair, at the moment I killed her, do you know what she was probably thinking? "Where's Peter?" And where were you, Peter? Where the hell were you!?"

Bullseye suddenly realised he was getting emotional. He didn't care.

"Yeah, I know she must have been thinkin' of you. I'm not gonna kid myself, she didn't love me. But you know what, that didn't matter, because I LOVED HER! And now, because I killed her, I have her, I'll always have her, in here."

Bullseye tapped the side of his head with his sai.

"She's mine, now. And you know what, you don't deserve her, you never did. She was too good for you, you selfish prick! And you are low enough to come here and say I murdered her? No, Parker, you killed her the minute you let her become a part of your life!"

Throughout this frantic tirade, Bullseye had been steadily edging backwards, towards the edge of the roof. He was waiting for the right moment. It was now.

"But soon you'll be dead as well. All of you."

With that, Bullseye fell backwards, off of the building. It wasn't too high, he'd survived bigger falls. As he fell, he straightened himself out so he was falling feet-first. Having an adamantium skeleton had some advantages. He landed back in the cab, with his feet going through the bottom.

His body violently shuddered with the impact, and an agonising wave of pain shot through his injured leg. Damn, he'd forgotten about that. Bullseye wearily slumped down onto the seat.

"Thanks for the help guys. We have to get outta here, now!"

OOC: Can you edit your post and say you took me out of the cab, Electroflare? We got out of the van and transferred into a cab.

All of the 'Sinister 4' where now sitting down inside a crappy NYC cab, heading towards JFK airport. Doc Ock driving, Bullseye calling shotgun (who is looking a bit worse for ware right now), & Venom & Electro sitting in the back.
Venom had remained pretty much a spectator through out most of what had just happened. Bullseye ruthlessly killing MJ in front of Spidey, Jonah being tossed out of the van. None of this Venom wanted any part of. He didn't sign up for this. Mindless & putty violence, believe it or not, Venom was not a big fan off. Unless it was aimed towards Spider-Man that is. & as much as Venom hated Spider-Man, loathed him in fact, he never would have killed MJ in front of him like that. behind his back maybe, but never in front of him.
It was time for Venom to make some drastic changes to do with his involvement with these so called 'Villains'. So far he'd seem nothing more from them that a common street thug couldn't achieve. It was time for Venom to part ways with this sick little group of super-thugs. Time to get back to what he does best. Protecting he innocents of New York City...alone.
Venom lent forward slightly so his face was close up to the plexi-glass spreading the front from the back of the cab.

Well, We'd like to say it's been fun...

Venom punched right threw the plexi-glass, catching Bullseye in the side of the head, knocking him forward onto the dashboard.

...but heck. We'd be lying!

Venom punched Electro in the side of the head with his other hand, smashing his head against the door window. Doc Ock turned around quickly & looked right at Venom with a look of surprise on his face.

Later Doc...See you around.

Venom said saluting him with a bloodied hand. Electro's bloody maybe?
Venom moved quickly, before Doc Ock realized what the hell was going on & grabbed him with his tentacles, & leaped out of the cab right through the metal roof of the cab. Knowing Spider-man was not in his right sense of mind Ghost rider keeps close visual on him.

Which was not hard seeing that ghost rider could ride at super fast speed but some how or another he lost him.

Turning a corner going in the direction of the sinister 4 he sees a guy on top of a car attacking it with a sword. Knowing he had a little time before spider man reached the sinister 4 he decides to help who ever is in the car.

Riding at a fast speed ghost rider takes his chain and wraps it around the guy in the mask as he goes by and stop the bike in front of the car pulling the chain and the guy with him as he stops. Taking a chance to look around he finally sees who is in the car and it is the punisher and he is bleeding bad.

"Punisher are you ok, what is with you whenever i see you you seem to be in worst shape then the last time" Getting off the bike he walks toward the guy wrapped in the chain

IC: Using his ability to move at twice his normal speed, Taskmaster ducks the bullets easily. He then kicks his leg outward, sweeping Punisher's legs out from underneath him. He stands over Frank's body and stomps his boot down on Frank's face.
Before waiting for Ghostrider's reaction, Taskmaster shoots a web to the top of a building and slings away after the cab.

Doom was delerious. Magneto had rescued him and had safely returned him to Genosha... at the cost of his offensive in California. Later on after catching his bearings, Doom was informed that the attack on the west coast had failed and that SHIELD had sanctioned his base and forces in Portland.

Still, Europe was still very much under his control. The Thing, Iron Man, and Dr. Strange (an unexpected dividend) along with the help of a massive SHIELD army, had mounted a successful front against Doom's forces in France. Considering the size of the army, designed by Tony Stark himself, it would not be long before they began advancing through Europe, reclaiming all the land and resources Doom had conquered.

Sitting in his quarters in Magneto's stronghold, Doom contemplated his situation and his next move. He could not win this fight through strength of arms: the SHIELD/Stark initiative outnumbered his almost 2 to 1, and although his droids may be slightly superior... he would not be able to mass produce enough units in time to compensate for the sheer numbers of Nick Fury's coalition.

But he still had the wild card, his ace in the hole: he still had the world hostage. The virus, which he had codenamed "Doomsday"... was still very much in play and Doom needed to think about how he could use it to his utmost advantage... and what could possibly thwart his plans...

Doom reclined in his chair and took a moment to reminisce upon the events that had occured so far... from confronting Doctor Octopus in New York to battling the Human Torch above Central Park, from hiring Deadpool as his field general, to battling The Thing, Photon, Johnny Storm and Thor in Syria. From stumbling upon the emerald of Asgard and blackmailing Thor to kill the Fantastic Four, to again duking it out with Thing and Iron Man in Latveria... only to wisked away by Thor and been beaten almost to the death. Now Doom had been saved by none other than Magneto... and his forces were being pushed back by Ben Grimm, Tony Stark, and Stephen Strange...

...Strange.... Doom's brow furrowed. "That.... could be a problem..." Strange was THE authority on the mystical arts. There was an outside possibility he might be able to locate his virus containers using a spell...

no, Doom could not have that. He had to fight fire with fire. Although nowhere near Strange's level of mastery of magic, Doom was an accomplished sorcerer. Conjuring up all his skill in the black arts, Doom cast a dark cloud over the whereabouts of his virus spores. Anyone using magic to discover them would be met by this blockade. It wouldnt stop Strange permanently, Doom knew that, but it would buy him some time.

And time was all he needed.

With renewed vigor, Doom went to meet Magneto. They had things to discuss....

Ghost rider Takes off towrds the airport hoping to catch up with someone on the way

Doc Ock was beginning to lose patience.Bullseye was attracting alot of attention from the heros.And his murder of Mary Jane,wife of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man would surely only attract him more attention.

And now Venom being his unpredictable self has just abandoned the group.Not that Octavius was surprised.Venom had a morality that was quite twisted.He was the most unpredictable and uncontrollable villain Ock has ever had in his various incarnations of the Sinister Six.

Sinister Six.Ha what a joke.There had only been four of them to begin with.And now three.What was Ock to do? Return to Doom and say here is your mighty back up?? Of course not.Ock had another agenda planned.One that would guarantee success.But it was crucial they returned to castle Doom in Latveria first.

Ock turned to Electro and Bullseye who were still a little stunned from the blows they had recieved from Venom before he departed."Gentlemen rest assured Brock's departure changes nothing.He was only here for Spider-Man and Jameson.How much longer could I keep manipulating him?? Better he leaves now before my real plan is put into effect".

Ock smiled at Bullseye."You look a bit worse for wear Bullseye.The consequences of killing the pretty Mrs Parker.What do you think Spider-Man will do to you when he finds you?" Ock said with a sinister grin.

"Worry not my friend.When we return back to New York Spider-Man,Daredevil,Wolverine and all the other meddlesome dullards will be crushed beneath our feet" Ock laughed as they arrived at the airport.

They pulled the cab in at the back of the airport hangars.The three of them stepped out of the cab and looked around."I assume I am the only one who knows how to fly a plane" Ock asked as the other two looked sheepishly at him and nodded."Good" Ock said."It's the way I like it".

They went to the nearest hanger where a luxury jet was stationed."This will do nicely.Travel in class" Ock said with a smirk.

Max stumbled on board the plane. The fight with Goblin, the razor bat in the leg, the blow to the head from Venom with blood gushing out. It was all coming to him. He looked around at the plane "Now this is more like it!" he said falling onto a sofa.

He spotted a T.V placed inside the walls of the plane. He switched it on and began to channel flick. Mary-Janes death was on all the major channels so he flicked to something more interesting "Seen it. Seen it. Seen it. Oh hey Simpsons!... seen it. Hate that show. Seen it. Now this is more like it!" Electro said as an episode of 24 came on. "I love this show and to think I'd planned my last two days to be robbing a bank then watching this on a huge T.V! Hey Bullseye you'd love this show come see!"

Daredevil watched as Bullseye did his dive off the building and made his escape.

Everything he touches dies....he has destroyed so many lives and now he has destroyed my friend's entire world. That's it. Someone has to hold Bullseye accountable...I've danced around and played it cool with him....well that all ends now...this is war...and the others must pay as well. I'll bet anything they are looking to join with Doom....all roads lead to him at some point. My guess they are on their way to the airport. By the time we get there they'll be gone. No matter if I have to book a flight I will. One way or another those psychos will be held accountable for their actions today.

He looks towards Spider-Man and says, "Come on...we'll mourn for the rest of our lives over our losses right now though...they need to learn that paybacks are hell...and no one wields a pitchfork like a devil."

He dives off the building and begins swinging to the airport as fast as he can.

*The Blackbird starts to near Genosha. Deadpool is straping himself into the "driver's seat" as the Blackbird begins to land on the other side of the island.*

"Thank you passengers for flying Deadpool airlines. We do apolgize for the bumpy ride and landing in a warzone, but hey...that's what happens when....WHAH??"

*Missles are being launched from Genosha and are colliding with the Blackbird. It is taking heavy damage.*

"Where's the eject button on this thing?

*Deadpool presses a lot of buttons making the jet fire missles and spin and finally the seat explodes through the window and releases a parachute into the sky. As the Blackbird crashes and explodes Deadpool starts to float to the ground.*

"Instead of a big, fast moving target; I'm a small, slow moving target. I'm not too sure which one is better.

*As Deadpool lands he cuts himself out of the seat and pulls out two swords ready for anything. As he turns to start heading in the direction of the X-Men he sees himself on the recieving end of a large army.*

"You guys wouldn't happen to know if there was a pay phone around here would ya?

*A few of the soldiers pounce on Deadpool and zip-line his hands. They are starting to take hime to Magneto.*

Ignoring the cold horror of the Green Goblin, Spider-man leapt off after Daredevil, easily catching up and overtaking him.

Daredevil thought he knew. He didn't. MJ was no Elektra. MJ was MJ! The beautiful bombshell that Peter Parker loves...loved.

Did Daredevil honestly think he could understand Spider-man's pain?



Peter Parker was dead. He lived for MJ and nothing else.

Spider-man lived on...he would avenge both MJ and Peter Parker. But he could never bring them back.

Hunched in a seat in the jet, Bullseye looked across at Electro. He didn't say anything, just shook his head vaguely, before losing himself in his own thoughts.

Venom should be dead. Any other time, Bullseye would have had a knife in his back before he had a chance to get out of the cab. But Bullseye was off his game. It was still Mary-Jane, haunting him. Bullseye had to forget about her. This wasn't going to do him any good. He had to concentrate on killing Spider-Man, Daredevil, or anyone else stupid enough to get in his way.

Finally, Bullseye realised he had to break his silence. He wearily walked over to Electro, who was engrossed in something on the television.

"What is it you want to show me?"

Hunched in a seat in the jet, Bullseye looked across at Electro. He didn't say anything, just shook his head vaguely, before losing himself in his own thoughts.

Venom should be dead. Any other time, Bullseye would have had a knife in his back before he had a chance to get out of the cab. But Bullseye was off his game. It was still Mary-Jane, haunting him. Bullseye had to forget about her. This wasn't going to do him any good. He had to concentrate on killing Spider-Man, Daredevil, or anyone else stupid enough to get in his way.

Finally, Bullseye realised he had to break his silence. He wearily walked over to Electro, who was engrossed in something on the television.

"What is it you want to show me?"

"The greatest T.V show in the history of the world that's what!" Said Max with excitement as he opened a fridge and pulled out two Budwisers tossing one to Bullseye. Turning to him, filled with glee at the sight of Jack Bauer running on the screen and shooting down a load of terrosists. Not to mention his daughter, boy was she hot!
But then Max saw Bullseye and he saw a different man all together. Mary-janes death was tearing him apart inside. "God what am I thinking?" He thought switching off the T.V "You know Bullseye don't worry about it. I put in a recorder on my T.V so I won't miss it" He said standing up. Looking around he spotted a room with a shower. He then noticed what a state he was in. "Hey why don't you take the sofa?" He said turning back to Bullseye and putting his drink down. "I'm gona go clean myself up in there" Electro said nodding towards the shower room. Max actually felt sorry for Bullseye as he walked into the shower room. He closed the door and locked it.
He noticed a toilet in the room. "Man I haven't gone for one of those in a long time!" He said with a smile.

Spider-man easily made it to the airport before Daredevil.

Only to watch the plane take off.

"Blast it!" Spider-man yelled. The plane was too far away for a webline already. What was he going to do!? He had to somehow get to Bullseye...he could see Bullseye through the window. He was getting away...what should he do?

"YOU!" Spider-man yelled at the approaching Daredevil.

"You tell me you know what I'm feeling! You've been through this! If so, why do you dare let Bullseye live today? If you truely knew how I felt, Bullseye would be dead and buried, and MJ would still be here!" Spider-man yelled and leapt at his one true friend...

While waiting for an answer Rogue see's movement out of the corner of her eye. "Ain' that the..." Before she could finish her thought she launches into the air and follows with her eyes the Blackbird.

Noting the missiles aimed on it she watches as it's hit and goes down in flames. Turning and landing next to the rest of the team and The Human Torch she misses seeing the ejection seat.
"Who's big idea was it to put ah Homin' device in that plane?" She asks ''Cause we just lost our main ride back." she says pointing a thumb over her shoulder in the general direction of the where the Blackbird went down.
"Ah guess our 'come silent' approach is ruined."

Hey fellas or more appropiate VIALLANS :D, just to let you guys know i AM playing as Thanos batnkevlar gave it the big :up:. But for those of you that don't know or do know Thanos usually doesn't like i involve himself in conflicts unless they are for his own personal gain.

So although i would love to jump in and start the madness it wouldn't be fitting of my character. So i think it's only fair to let you guys know that i won't be joining in the battle until i am contacted, or somehow threatned.

The only character i think that would or could actually contact me would be Dr. Doom :doom: aka Kang604. Possibly doc oc aka Doctor Ocotopus or Magneto aka batnkevlar :D

So unless you guys think i should involve myself first (like i said though it's not fitting of my character) you guys could come up with a scenario where i am contacted by Doom or one of the other two. Or if you wish we can communicate privately (not sure if that's allowed but i don't see why it shouldn't be) to formulate a stragety that brings me into play a little in the furture as a nice surprise for the Heroes :D hehehehe

Captain America heard Taskmasters gunshots and took off to see what they were. When he got there he only found the roof of a car, scorch marks, and some skid marks.
He decided to track the scorch marks and the skid marks knowing it was ghostrider thinking if he could catch him, he could find out more information of where Ock was. He took off running again.

I can't kill him anymore than you could kill the Goblin all those times you had the chance. They deserve to die but not by our hands...we are not them. We believe in justice & hope...if we decide to start killing them we have lost our humanity and we might as well just start killing anyone we want. There is still a chance...we are part of the avengers...you, Ghost-Rider if he wishes to come with us & I can use the jet and we can follow them wherever they go. We can still win this war...but only if we remember the reason why we fight this war to begin with. To protect thousands of innocent people so they will never know the pain we know."

Daredevil removed his mask. He said, "If there was anyway I could spare you this pain Spider-Man I would. I have failed the only two women I ever loved and not a day goes by that I don't forget that, and now because I didn't kill Bullseye I have failed you & MJ. If what you want right now is my head on a platter." He lowered his arms and said, "Go ahead...I won't stop you and I won't retaliate."

Crawling around the inner workings of the jet, Taskmaster plants several high-explosives at crucial areas. He then climbs up through the maintenance hatch and sees all the rogues at their seats Ock is piloting, right?.

Taskmaster thinks to himself, 'Alright, the task at hand: Disable Bullseye, Doc Ock, and Electro. Blow up the plane. Collect photographic evidence of their deaths. Return to New York and collect my money.'

Everyone is startled when TM starts speaking.

"I'm being paid a heap of money for all of your hides."

Before waiting for them to attack first, Taskmaster moves with blinding speed. He hurls a high intensity cryo grenade at Electro, creating a two-foot case of ice around him instantly.
He then hurls his shield at Bullseye, hitting him in the back of the head, doubling him forward.

"I doubt Electro can hear us anymore, so you better hope that Dillon doesn't try to melt that ice with his powers. Melted ice equals water. Water plus electricity would short-circuit him and cause a huge electrical explosion inside of this aircraft."

Taskmaster reactivates his energy shield and unshealths his sword with one hand, then pulls a small device from his belt with his other hand.

"I'll only kill you if you make trouble for me. I'm simply here for the bounties on your heads, meaning I'm only going to turn you over to the proper authorities in New York."

Bullseye clenched his teeth.

"You know, Taskmaster, I admire your determination, I really do. And I know this ain't nothing personal, just...business. Hell, I know that, even though we're friends, I'd be doin' exactly the same thing if I were you."

While Bullseye was talking, he had edged a throwing blade out of his glove.

"But I think I've been in New York long enough. And I know that if you were me, you would do this..."

Suddenly, with one flick of the hand, Bullseye sent the blade skimming along the blade of the sword. It went through The Taskmaster's hand, not causing any serious damage, but causing him to drop the blade. Bullseye spun round to face The Taskmaster.

"That makes things a bit fairer. I know you taght me everything I know, but not everything you know. I know the odds are against me. But I eat impossible odds for breakfast. From a dirty bowl."

Bullseye gave The Taskmaster a sly wink, then lunged forward at him.

Man Max was cold! He hadn't taken a shower because he would have short circuited but he had managed to clean most of the blood off. Stepping out of the shower room, some sort of grenade was tossed at him and he was now encased in ice!
As TM said he couldn't melt it or he'd fry himself. He just hopped that either the Doc or Bullseye could free him somehow

Osborn watched the scene between Parker and Daredevil, keeping back a safe distance, perched on his glider. Underneath his mask, a smile curled across his lips as Daredevil gave up and placed his life in Spider-Man's hands. The Green Goblin swept in close to Spider-Man, so he could whisper into his ear, like a voice of conscience:

“Yes, Parker, kill him. If he had killed Bullseye when his two loved women died, this wouldn’t have happened. So, in a way it’s his fault. People who are not strong enough to kill are weak, pathetic. Parker HE is partially responsible for your wife's death."

Osborn could see Parker's face twist with hatred. He knew he was getting to him.

So, Parker, KILL him! Kill your “new” best friend. You killed your first one, after all. Don't think I've forgotten that."

Parker's face was showing signs of doubt. Osborn had to ensure he killed Daredevil, that he sold his soul.

"COME ON Parker! Don’t fail Aunt May! You failed your uncle, you failed your wife, don't let anyone else die because you are too weak to act!"

Norman grinned. Parker was alone, isolated, all over again. If Osborn had his way, all Spider-Man would have would be The Green Goblin. Then it was inevitable - Parker would become his heir. His new son. his new...Harry.

As for Daredevil's murder, that would be a nice bonus. His head on a platter would be a nice thing to put on a trophy case.

Bullseye made a move as if he was lunging towards the Taskmaster, but at the last second he doubled back, doing a side roll and grabbing The Taskmaster's dropped sword. He smiled deviously.

"Don't worry, buddy. This ain't for you."

Bullseye tossed the sword at an angle, watching as it cut into the ice. He had aimed it perfectly. Gradually, the ice began to crack, and soon the whole ice block had collapsed, freeing Electro.

"Always good to have a little support, don't you think?"

In another swift movement, TM swung the sword at Bullseye's thigh. The blade sunk in deeply and would have sliced the leg clean off, but instead was stopped as it hit the adamantium bone.

"I don't think you'll be walking off the plane with your leg like that. Hell, I hit a major artery, so you'll probably need a hospital in the next little while."

TM was now standing over Bullseye. Max wasn't going to let this happen. He ran again and leapt into TM toppling them both over. He rolled over on top of him and gave him 3 powerfull punches directly into his face. The altitude meter went crazy as Ock struggled with the controls.His tentacles were pressing numerous buttons but it did no good.The jet was falling at high speed towards the ocean.Ock reached under the pilots seat and grabbed a parachute.He strapped it on and stepped into the cabin which was beginning to depressurise.

"Under your seats,grab your parachutes.Hurry.We have to jump out before this plane crashes into the ocean" Ock shouted.Bullseye and Electro grabbed their parachutes.Ock ripped off the cabin door and jumped out,followed by Electro and Bullseye.They opened their parachutes and drifted down into the ocean.

Ock watched as the plane crashed into the ocean and exploded in a blaze of flame.They landed in the water with a splash.Ock removed his parachute and looked at where they were.They had landed just outside New York.

Ock smiled."Follow me gentlemen" he said as he dived under the water.

Taskmaster has what's called photographic reflexes, meaning he can basically do anything he has seen anyone else doing.
He's watched news footage of a lot of heroes and villains in action, so he can duplicate anything humanly possible that they can do. He has Spider-man's agility (but not his strength) and his webshooters, Captain America's shield and martial arts, Daredevil's billy clubs and martial arts, Elektra's sais and martial arts, Deadpool's martial arts, Bullseye's aim, Hawkeye's bow & arrows, Silver Samurai's martial arts and sword, Wolverine's martial arts and claws, Punisher's skill with guns, Ironfist's punch, and a bunch of meditation techniques that allow him to bypass pain and stop bleeding. He also has a small arsenal of other gadgets.

As you can see, he's quite the martial artist. ;)

The demon stopped, and seemed to sniff the air around him.

I know where these weapons are located. The one who has secreted away these weapons has hidden them, but not well, his spell only affects you. You will never find them, no matter how hard you try.

The demon then disappeared in a puff of indigo, acrid smelling smoke, leaving Strange alone.

"You've no need for a weapon with me, Nicolas. And if you tried to use it, you'd be unconcious before it cleared your holster," Quicksilver says. He glances at the guards in the room, "a word in private?," he asks. Fury nods, whith more than a little apprehension.

The guards leave and many long minutes later Quicksilver is spotted on a surveillance monitor streaking away...with an unconscious Nick Fury on his shoulder!!!!

"Yes, this will be the PERFECT gift for my father," thinks Quicksilver.

By the time the alarm claxons at Triskelion begin to sound, Quicksilver is too far away to hear or care.

OOC: The only people going to Latveria are Doc Ock, Electro and Bullseye...Doctor Octopus is partners with Doom right now and is returning to Latveria to implement some sort of plan...Taskmaster was after them to collect the bounties...everyone else who was following them was doing so because...well, they're bad guys. Now, I suspect, the only people really after them will be Spiderman and Daredevil.

And...yeah, Doom's in Genosha...

Ben Grimm relaxed, leaning back on a large boulder. He sat in the middle of a farmer’s field in Northern France, surrounded by grazing cattle. Finishing off his lunch, Ben looked around.

In the distance, at the newly-erected moblile command post, military organizers decided on their next offensive. Scores of Allied units and vehicles continued to assemble inland after coming ashore on the beaches. Grimm heard reports coming in from other commanders abroad about the state of the war on other fronts. Reports were unanimous of Doom’s robotic forces being beaten back on all fronts by the numerically superior (and ever-increasing) Allied forces.

Ben had received news from his teammate and friend, Johnny Storm, that Doom had been rather occupied with other, more pressing, concerns leaving him unable to personally oversee his troops actions which lead to mass confusion among his armies.

Grimm sat back, happy to have the chance to relax. He knew he would have plenty of more battles against Doom’s droids…but, for now, he savoured the relative calm.

Then, in the distance, Ben Grimm witnessed a somewhat inexplicable event. He watched as Dr. Stephen Strange had, what seemed to be, a conversation with a massive, dark beast. Soon, the brooding monster disappeared and Strange levitated himself towards Ben.

”You know, I’d ask what that was all about…but I don’t wanna know…” Grimm muttered. He knew about Strange and his special abilities and knew he was better off to not ask any questions.

”Well, Victor has cunningly blocked the devices from me. However, I believe I know of someone who can help in finding them. As long as Doom doesn't trigger them too soon, we should have their exact locations.” The tranquil look on Stephen Strange’s face put Ben at even more ease.

”I like the sound o’ that.” Grimm looked, again, in the direction of the arriving forces. ”These fellas can handle it from here…so, whenever you need those virus whatchamacallits taken care of…let me know. Right now, I’m gonna finish a nap I started a couple o’ days ago…”

The Thing closed his eyes...and drifted off to sleep.

They look upon him in awe realizing he has none other than Nick Fury in his custody. He is admitted post-haste and taken to his father. Wade Wison is present, looking haggard but still maintaining his smart-alecky attitude.

To the guards present, Quicksilver says: "Remove this rabble for the moment and give us some privacy, I have a prisoner that my father would speak with IMMEDIATELY."

The guards remove a still talking, endlessly, Deadpool.

"Here father...a present," says Quicksilver. "I passed some X-men on my arrival, and would leave you two to your 'discussion' while I help to prepare for them a rightful welcome." With that, Quicksilver leaves the two men alone.

As Magneto begins to speak, Fury stands motionless for a moment, then says: "Hello, Erik." Then the LMD of Fury explodes unleashing corrosive acid throughout the entire chamber. Magneto is caught unawares and is burned viciously by the acid before instinctively raising a force shield to protect himself from the deadly corrosives. He manages to spare himself from certain death, but is covered all over, save where his helmet blocked the acid, with third degree burns. His chamber is filled with noxious fumes unfit for breathing. His fine tapestries and artworks ruined. His skin on fire, Magneto reels in pain.....

Having left the chamber, Quicksilver speeds to the defense systems room of the citadel and knocks out the guards. He then dis-arms ALL defenses and broadcasts to the X-Men and Avengers: "Defenses are down. REPEAT: Genosha's primary defenses are DOWN! Will rendezvous and begin assault, Pietro out." Quicksilver then races out to meet with them on the beach.....

OOC: Damn...who saw THAT coming? heh. ONE person did, I know, and thanks for your cooperation. By the way, LMD stands for Life Model Decoy, it dates back to the Jim Steranko days of Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD. Old 60's stuff. Sorry 'Dad', but once an Avenger...

I guess Ghostrider is still on the trail, but The Punisher needs, as you've said, some recovery time. But, I guess, even Spidey and DD are distracted right now with their little confrontation, so...

"Alright the gloves are off" Ock said with a villainous grin as he walked up the stairs and into the elevator,followed by Electro and Bullseye which took took them to the main room of Ock's base.

Ock walked over to the main table to the control panel.He pressed a button and the mini bar of liquor bottles and glasses popped up."Help yourselves to a drink gentlemen.And dry yourselves off.I particularly urge you to do that Max before you use your powers again" Ock said with a sly smile.

Ock grinned and winked at him."Just tipping off an old friend" Ock said."Hello Norman.Guess who? Thats right Otto Octavius here.Alive and well.As are my fellow comrades here.Say hello gentlemen" Ock said as he pointed the phone towards them.

Bullseye and Electro looked a little bewildered but both chimed in a 'Hello' to Osborn."Alas I regret that your little errand boy Taskmaster failed in destroying us,or capturing us for that matter.As if he even stood a reasonable chance.I am disappointed in you Norman.I took you for a man of intelligence.Next time send someone who may actually prove a challenge to me" Ock laughed.

That less then 12 hours ago, the life of there beloved Spider-Man had gone through a dramatic change, changing his life forever. That Doc Ock & his cronies where flying off to Latveria to do god only knows what. If they knew this, there pitiful daily decisions like what flavour muffin to have or what colour tie to wear wouldn't seem quite so important anymore.

:Thanos of titan notices his monitoring systems sending him a signal. For throughout not just this Galaxy he keeps an eye on all. His exsitence thought to be erradicated at the end of the Infinity Guantlet saga to all of whom bore witness and who can recall such cosmic events.

Warlock of course paid him a visit once he realized the titan was still among the living, and few other cosmic entities keep an eye on the titan for there is no greater schemer in all the cosmos. But never the less the solitude of his would be untimely death does not keep Thanos from having his senses always on alert, for one does not come into power supreme by being ignorant of his surroundings, and Thano of titan always concerns himself with this universe and it's ongoings, for his very exsistence is what matters most to him.

As he approaches his monitering system he see that the beckoning signal comes from an all too famialr territory, Earth.:

"Hmmm, interesting there seems to be a conflict brewing on the would be home planet of Warlock. What events transpire that would alert my devices?"

:As Thanos takes a closer look he sees an all too familiar face. :doom: :

"So the mortal Doom has his hand in this. Why am i not surprised, for all earthlings, he draws the most concern. But best i keep an eye on the events as they unfold, and maintain my current status among the living as, non-existent. For were the dull witted earthlings to learn of my false demise, it would disrupt the peace i have come acustomed to."

:So the demi-god keeps a careful watch of the ongoing events currently taking place on the planet known as Earth for despite his recent new found appreciation for life, he is stil....:

The three villains swam down to Ock's secret underwater base,and in thru the secret entrance.As they swam in and Ock closed the hatch the water level lowered around them.Ock coughed as he ran his hands thru his wet bowl cut hair.

"Alright the gloves are off" Ock said with a villainous grin as he walked up the stairs and into the elevator,followed by Electro and Bullseye which took took them to the main room of Ock's base.

Ock walked over to the main table to the control panel.He pressed a button and the mini bar of liquor bottles and glasses popped up."Help yourselves to a drink gentlemen.And dry yourselves off.I particularly urge you to do that Max before you use your powers again" Ock said with a sly smile.

Ock picked up the phone on the table and dialled a number."Who you calling Doc?" Bullseye asked as he opened the whiskey bottle.

Ock grinned and winked at him."Just tipping off an old friend" Ock said."Hello Norman.Guess who? Thats right Otto Octavius here.Alive and well.As are my fellow comrades here.Say hello gentlemen" Ock said as he pointed the phone towards them.

Bullseye and Electro looked a little bewildered but both chimed in a 'Hello' to Osborn."Alas I regret that your little errand boy Taskmaster failed in destroying us,or capturing us for that matter.As if he even stood a reasonable chance.I am disappointed in you Norman.I took you for a man of intelligence.Next time send someone who may actually prove a challenge to me" Ock laughed.

"Well I just thought I'd do you a favour and let you know we are still alive.Therefore there is no need for you to pay that rank amateur Taskmaster the bounty reward.Save it for your retirement Norman.Because if you keep trying to interfere with me I'll retire you permanently" Ock said as he slammed the phone down.

Before I go ahead and write a post, I just have a few points. Firstly, well done dark knight fan. Your portrayal of Thanos has been excellent so far. I can't wait until he gets actively involved in proceedings.

And can I just say something to Spike x1? You are portraying your character very well, but I have one small niggle. You perhaps are causing a little too much damage. Taking out my leg so I'm apparently bleeding to death was bad enough, but in the same post, taking out my HANDS? I think that's a but much. I even specified in my post that you only had a minor wound on the side of your hand, and I was wondering whether or not that was a bit much. You all but killed me. I have to thank Electro UK and Doc Ock for bunnying me around for a bit and saving my hide.

I apologise Spike x1, but I'm going to have to underplay my damage in my following post. I am having trouble walking as it is, and I'm going to make your sword slash just be around the already wounded area, so I'm still just limping badly, rather than bleeding to death. And I'm going to have to just make the ninja stars in the hands minor wounds. I don't know if you know, but with my aiming abilities, the use of my hands, especially when I can barely use my legs, is sort of important to Bullseye. I'm going to maintain full use of my hands, even if they are a bit cut up.

Bullseye groaned in pain and self-pity as he waited in The Doc's hideout. He gingerly limped over to The Doc's drinks cabinet. With a trembling hand, he poured out a glass of scotch for The Doc, leaving it on the desk. Then he took the rest of the bottle over to a corner of the room with him and slumped down on the floor with it.

Bulseye took a swig of the scotch then with a sigh, looked at his hand. Two ninja stars were still sticking out of the hand. He had padding in his gloves, just in case anyonw tried to take out his hands, but he could still feel the points piercing through the skin. Taking a deep breath, Bullseye pulled out the ninja stars. He let out a short, strangled yelp of pain. But that was nothing.

Bullseye pulled off his mask, and wiped the sweat from his brow. His right leg was really getting put through a lot of damage. First Wolverine had went to town on it, and then The Taskmaster had sliced through it. Luckily, he was wrong about it cutting a major artery. But he had still left another open wound, near the one Wolverine had left earlier. And Bullseye had been swimming in the ocean, in not exactly the cleanest of locations. He needed to take some urgent actoin.

Bullseye took another long swig from the bottle of scotch, then stuffed his mask in his mouth, gagging himself. Then, with another deep breath, he tipped over the bottle of scotch onto the wound in his leg, sterilising it. Bullseye let out a muffled scream, thrashing about in agony. But the job was done. He threw his mask down onto the floor. Now he had to bandage the wound.

Bullseye groped for the first-aid kit. He tore away the shredded bandages he put on earlier, and replaced them with a new wrapping, one that covered both wounds on his leg. Bullseye unsteadily rose to his feet, then reached down for the bottle of scotch. It was empty now.

"Doc, do you have anything else to drink? I really need a drink!"

IC: Upon admittance to his meeting with Nick Fury, Quicksilver notices Fury's apprehension and his hand tightly gripping his holstered weapon.

"You've no need for a weapon with me, Nicolas. And if you tried to use it, you'd be unconcious before it cleared your holster," Quicksilver says. He glances at the guards in the room, "a word in private?," he asks. Fury nods, whith more than a little apprehension.

The guards leave and many long minutes later Quicksilver is spotted on a surveillance monitor streaking away...with an unconscious Nick Fury on his shoulder!!!!

"Yes, this will be the PERFECT gift for my father," thinks Quicksilver.

By the time the alarm claxons at Triskelion begin to sound, Quicksilver is too far away to hear or care.

Just as Photon was about to hit the door buzzer again a gust of wind blows her back as,

"What the...." she says to her surprise barely reconizes Quicksilver as he runs out of the room carrying someone on his back.

"This can't be good" she speaks to herself and instantly shifts to her invisible light form and follows Quicksilver out of Triskelion. Just as the Alarms have begin to sound and begins to catch up to him to see what's he carrying. Though she's pretty sure she knows whom it is.

Capitain America was still wandering after the tracks. He knew that the chances of ever catching ghostrider were slim but he had to keep going. It was his only lead to go by and he had nowhere else to go.

"I followed him as he was leaving Shield HQ and back out. And spotted you guys on the way in." she says to the group. "I trust you guys got the message I'm sure I did." she adds. Then, using her own powers sends her own message to Quicksilver.

"Ouicksilver. This is Photon, I got you're message and I'm with some of the Xmen now." pausing for a minute with a smile. "By the way. Nice move fleet foot. Photon out."

"Talk about burning bridges" she says out loud then turns to the group. "Okay Cyclops." she says to him. "What's next?"

Ben Grimm relaxed, leaning back on a large boulder. He sat in the middle of a farmer’s field in Northern France, surrounded by grazing cattle. Finishing off his lunch, Ben looked around.

In the distance, at the newly-erected moblile command post, military organizers decided on their next offensive. Scores of Allied units and vehicles continued to assemble inland after coming ashore on the beaches. Grimm heard reports coming in from other commanders abroad about the state of the war on other fronts. Reports were unanimous of Doom’s robotic forces being beaten back on all fronts by the numerically superior (and ever-increasing) Allied forces.

Ben had received news from his teammate and friend, Johnny Storm, that Doom had been rather occupied with other, more pressing, concerns leaving him unable to personally oversee his troops actions which lead to mass confusion among his armies.

Grimm sat back, happy to have the chance to relax. He knew he would have plenty of more battles against Doom’s droids…but, for now, he savoured the relative calm.

Then, in the distance, Ben Grimm witnessed a somewhat inexplicable event. He watched as Dr. Stephen Strange had, what seemed to be, a conversation with a massive, dark beast. Soon, the brooding monster disappeared and Strange levitated himself towards Ben.

”You know, I’d ask what that was all about…but I don’t wanna know…” Grimm muttered. He knew about Strange and his special abilities and knew he was better off to not ask any questions.

”Well, suffice it to say that, as long as Victor doesn’t trigger his devices too quickly, soon we will have their exact locations.” The tranquil look on Stephen Strange’s face put Ben at even more ease.

”I like the sound o’ that.” Grimm looked, again, in the direction of the arriving forces. ”These fellas can handle it from here…so, whenever you need those virus whatchamacallits taken care of…let me know. Right now, I’m gonna finish a nap I started a couple o’ days ago…”

The Thing closed his eyes...and drifted off to sleep.

But more importantly ummm as far as i know doesn't Bullseye have an ADAMANTUM laved SKeleton? So your leg and hands wouldn't be able to be cut from your body much less any part containing bone. :D

That is unless marvel had somewhere removed the adamantium skeleton from Bullseye's body, which i have never come across.

OOC: super ferret, im not sure if you noticed or not a few pages back, but Doom has placed a black magic shroud over the whereabouts of the viral containers. it wouldnt stop you forever, considering ur magic is more powerful than mine, but the purpose was to buy some time. i dunno if you noticed that or not so yeah.

IC: Doom was still in Genosha, contemplating his next move. His armies were going to be defeated... there was no denying that now. What Victor had to decide was how he was going to still win this war... there were other ways of conquering planets than through force of arms...

... and then he had it. The answer.

Doom didn't know if this message was being recieved by Thanos, but he had to try. It was important to approach Thanos with the utmost respect... one false move could leave Doom fried where he stood. Throughout, the galaxy... there was none more powerful than Thanos of Titan... his power was of cosmic and epic proportions, stretching across planets and galaxies... striking fear into those who opposed him... Doom knew this, but was confident in his plan.

Oh...the skeleton's still there. Spike_x1 very specifically mentioned that his sword sunk into the leg but stopped at the adamantium-laced bone. Plus...Keyser has mentioned it a few times throughout the game (i.e. the reason his whole arm didn't get blown off when Punisher...or Blade...unloaded a shotgun shell inches away from his shoulder).
Obviously, it's really the only reason he hasn't died...yet...

Ock walked back out into the room in a new white armani suit.He was buttoning up the shirt and straightening the tie.One of his tentacles flexed out and picked up a bottle of scotch and handed it to the trembling Bullseye.

His other tentacles flexed out and picked up his glass of scotch on the table and brought it to his lips as he took a swig of it.At the same time a third tentacle reached over to Electro handed him a small vial and a syringe.

"Here" Ock said as he put his glass down and straightened his coat."Inject yourself with that in the neck.Since this virus attacks the brain and nervous system the effect will be quicker if you inject it in your neck".Electro was still staring at Ock with a stunned expression as he took the vial and syringe.

Ock smiled at him."My security system for any unwelcome guests.I have a deadly airborne virus being pumped through the air system in my lair.Naturally myself and my men are vaccinated against it.As is Bullseye.So I suggest you do the same Max before your brain degenerates into a diseased clump of ravaged cells".

Ock pulled out a chair and sat down at the table.He took another sip of his drink as he took off his shades and rubbed his eyes."It has not been an easy ride.Everywhere we turn some nuissance interferes.New York is crawling with heros.It's like a plague.And now Osborn is interfering in my affairs" Ock said as he snapped a tentacle claw and placed his shades back on.

He stood up."Which is why it is imperative we get back to Latveria post haste.Which means we must go back to the airport yet again and take an aircraft and get to Latveria and implement my master plan.Then we can destroy all those who have tresspassed against us" Ock said with a sinister grin.

Bullseye took a long drink straight from the bottle of scotch. Wiping his mouth absently, he spoke up about The Doc's plan.

"Doc, that sounds good in theory. But do you really think we should head back to the airport? Won't that be what all the punks huntin' us down will be expecting?"

Bullseye unsteadily walked towards Doctor Octopus. He wasn't as good at thinking up complex plans as The Doc was. That's why he usually let The Doc do all the thinking. But the dim outline of an idea was forming in his head.

"The Daily Bugle has its journalists out following crimes as they occur, right? Just last week, they had this live footage of a car chase between the cops and some bank robbers. Don't they use choppers for that? Rather than trying to head back to the airport and maybe get caught again, wouldn't it be better to head over to the Bugle offices, and maybe borrow one of their news helicopters? They have a helipad on the roof, don't they?"

Bullseye looked around anxiously. Now that he'd said his idea, he wasn't sure if it would work. But it would be something unpredictable, something their pursuers wouldn't expect. Bullseye leaned against the table, waiting for The Doc's answer.

"The Daily Bugle.How did I not think of this?.It must be the strain and pressure I am under.Being a miraculous leader takes alot of wit and cunning" Ock said grandly as he walked out of the room.Seconds later he returned holding a test tube of transparent liquid.

He walked up to Bullseye and held the test tube in front of his face."This is a little concoction I came up with a few years ago after my gang war with the Owl.I suffered some severe injuries at the hands of that wall crawler.He took advantage of me while I was distracted" Ock said with a snarl."Those injuries may have incapacitated me for months.So I came up with a drug that accelerated the healing process.I forgot I had some left in my Master Planner lair".

Ock looked at Bullseye's bandaged leg."Rub this onto the surface of your skin.It is designed to be absorbed into the epidermis and begin accelerating the Mitosis of the cells.Your wounds will heal much quicker".

"And once that is done we shall pay a little visit to the Daily Bugle" Ock said with a sinister laugh.

"This may be the last chance we have to stop these despots...allow me to clear a path," with that Quicksilver begins a careful, high speed removal of the landmines in the heroes path, then begins engaging ground troops allowing the heavier hitters better position.

That being said, Duker Jay, your observations are usually valid. Maybe the chopper couldn't take that much of a journey. But how do you know we're not planning to just take the chopper out of NYC, land in an airport that isn't crawling with heroes, and steal a plane to Latveria from there?

OOC: Yeah...sorry...I wasn't trying to stop you guys from doing it...really, until Bullseye picks up an airplane and drops it on The Thing, I'm not going to actually oppose things that don't affect me. I was actually expecting someone to say that the chopper was going to be used to get out of the city to another airport.
But, it was just a light-hearted comment...hence the "balls line"...I mean, really...take the helicopter across the ocean...I won't say another word.

As far as my OOC posts outnumbering my IC posts...that's, no doubt, true. But, that's because, for the last little while I've been in a little slower-paced story...I'm wary of posting lots and moving action along too quickly after what we did when I first joined (taking out Doom's army without them responding)...so now...I have to wait a little more....which is fine.

:Monitoring his probes of the planet Earth the Titan recieves a very interesing message from one who would call him self....DOOM! Thanos listens to the message and contimplates this offer, of course he is weary of The Iron Fisted ruler of Latveria. As is Thanos of titan always the schemer, he also knows that Doom never makes an offer without alternate means at hand. His presence still unknown to the majority of the universe Thanos contimplates if he should even respond, for althouh Thanos' might is vast and virtually limitless, so are the number of his Enemies.
