Bullseye was getting impatient. Was the money really worth all this bother?

"I don't think you understand me, Doc. Maybe that's a sign of your brain being cooked. Either you give me the antidote, or I hold in this trigger until I can just take it from you. And I won't kill you, Doc. I'll leave you alive, just. So it won't be hell you'll be rotting in. It'll be a nuthouse. Not nice places, trust me, I know. So unless you want to spend the rest of your life as a vegetable, with some hairy intern changing your diapers while you lie drooling in a padded cell, you'll give me that antidote....NOW!"

Ock reached inside his coat pocket and took out the small vial.He removed the lid.Ock was quivering in pain.The fringe of his bowl cut was soaked with sweat.

"Turn it off now or I'll spill the entire contents of this" Ock snarled.His hand was shaking as it was."I'm feeling rather shaky as it is.Either way I drop this no matter what you do to me".Ock hung his head and his shades slipped off his sweaty face.

Ock looked back up at Bullseye."Your last chance.I will tolerate this pain no longer.Turn it off and it's yours.Refuse me and I spill your salvation down the drain".

Bullseye briefly considered his options. This was difficult. If The Doc went ahead and spilled the antidote, Bullseye would do what he had threatened, and fry the bastard's brain. Bullseye would be dead in a couple of days, while The Doc would be forced to live the rest of his life in obscurity, and without a functioning mind, which Bullseye was sure would be the only thing worse than death for him.

On the other hand, Bullseye wanted to live. This wasn't a matter of whether The Doc was bluffing or not. With the vial opened, the vial was going to get dropped whether The Doc intended to drop it or not, because of the electricity pulses pumping into his brain. So the only way Bullseye had any chance of survival was by switching off the trigger. The choice became clear.

"Once I turn this off, you ain't gonna recover right away. It'll be a minute or two before you can operate your tentacles again. As soon as I turn this off, you give me the antidote. If you try and screw me, I turn this back on and watch you soil yourself."

Bullseye flipped back the trigger, stopping the electronic pulses.

"Ughhhh" Ock groaned.He fell sideways breathing heavily.He grabbed the vial lid and capped it back on.Ock staggered to his knees.Then onto his feet.He could feel his head throbbing less and less.He took a deep breath and leaned against the railing.

"Well Bullseye you just saved your life" Ock smirked."Wise decision.But first...".Ock gripped his shirt collar and tore off the small little gadget and dropped it to the ground and crushed it under his foot."A fascinating device.You must put me in contact with your supplier".

Suddenly Ock's tentacles began to twitch.His nerve pathways were stabilising again.The tentacles began to rise slowly.Bullseye took a step back.Ock shot out a tentacle and grabbed his shades which lay on the ground.He brought them to his face and placed them carefully back on.He then smiled at Bullseye.

"Well that was certainly a shock.You are a clever one.Despite your lunatic tendencies you are smart.And wasting intelligence is a crime even I will not commit".Ock placed the antidote vial in a tentacle claw and flexed it out to Bullseye.He stared at it with shock,surprise and a look of relief.He held out his hand and Ock dropped it in his palm.

"Hold on" Ock said.He took out a plastic syringe and handed it to Bullseye with a tentacle claw."Inject it into your neck.This virus attacks your brain.The antidote will take a quicker and greater effect if you inject it into the circulation of your neck".

Bullseye injected the antidote into his neck. He was cured. He let out a small laugh of relief.

"Thanks Doc. Now we're even. What's the plan of action now?"

[The Joker]

Ock walked over to his reactor and touched it with his hand."Plan of action? The same as it always was.Find those two simpletons and destroy them and drag their bodies back here where I will cremate them in the reactor".

Ock wiped his brow with the hankerchief and looked at Bullseye and smiled."Then we collect our payoff and drown this miserable city in a radiation bath".

Blade jumped down from out of the air-shaft, landing in a crouched position to reduce any sound from giving his spot away. He sighed as he looked around, a light smile quickly replacing his expression as he crawled his way over to and behind a wall where he planted himself to hear what was going on between Bullseye and Otto now.

His sat there, pressed against the wall as he peaked around the corner threw the doorway leading to the room where Doc Ock and Bullseye stood, he had finally gotten a good look at Bullseye's face. Oh boy he was in for it now.. He'll know his every step from that forward. He took in deep breaths as he waited for Daredevil and Doom to show up, his machete at his side since it did'nt fit in his sword's sheath.

He began thinking of a substitute for his shades, he'd already lost his other two pairs. Then it hit him - The Doc's shades were gonna be his, one way or the other. He smirked and began looking around for places to plant the nitrogen, but still he decided not to move and rather wait for Daredevil's comformation.

*Iceman slides in next to everyone*
"Hey guys, what is it with these creepy alien monsters? And why does wolverine looked so ticked off?"

"Because Logan is getting too pissed off by this freak!" said Psylocke to Iceman

"I have a better idea.I'm gonna try to distract Carnage while you guys get Wolverine away from him"

Doom was disgusted. Having to cooperate with the "hero" types was bad enough, but the devil in the red dress and a vampire slayer? It was insulting to his pride.

Doom quickly plotted out his next move. The most important thing to do was to stop that maniacal bowl-cut lunatic from drowning New York in radiation...

"... that, I cannot stand for..." Doom muttered to himself. He watched as Blade slowly crept to the doorway that led to the Octopus... and got impatient. These idiots were wasting time.

" Move aside, Blade. It's time for Doom to put this nonsense to rest. " With that, Doom stepped into the reactor, arms folded in front of him, cape flowing restlessly behind.

" Doctor Octavius. I have a bone to pick with you "...

Doc Ock turned around casually."Here already Dr Doom? Excellent.Like I told your two misfit friends I am not adversed to some company.And I seem to be getting alot of it this evening".Bullseye stepped forward rather sharpishly as if getting ready to make a move but Ock halted him back with a tentacle."Easy my friend.This is not unexpected".

Ock grinned and lit a cigar with a tentacle and continued to casually chat."It must not surprise you that I knew you were here.Every room in this plant is fitted with a secret CCTV camera.I worked here for several years before my little accident.I know every crevice of this power plant.I have one of my men monitoring the cameras.He has been reporting every little detail to me".

Ock looked at Doom studiously."So I take it you have some objections to my present course of action.Please do tell.From one Doctor to another".

Doom was infuriated. How dare Octavius speak to Doom as if he were somehow below him? Rage built up inside him, but he knew had to keep his cool. Octavius was no chump... there was a reason why he was widely considered one of the foremost scientists in the world. Any sign of weakness would be easily picked upon and exploited. This was a battle that would have to be won with Doom's greatest power: his intelligence.

" Although cute and almost admirable in the eyes of one villain to another, your little hostile takeover of this facility has thrown a considerable kink in my plans. You may or may not have been aware, but I have, in all sense of the words, taken the world hostage. Seattle has already been leveled to the ground, and almost every major city on this planet, including this one, has been outfitted with a chemical spore that when triggered, will release a viciously deadly airborne virus. As you may have already guessed, your plans to shower the city in radiation does not sit well with my current course of action.

I have the United Nations eating from the palm of my hand, and although one part of me is seriously contemplating frying you and your pathetic little henchmen here, perhaps an agreement can be made... as you say...

Doc Ock tossed his cigar away."My haven't you been a busy little bee.The whole world yours you say.And yet here you are negotiating for New York with me".Ock smiled mockingly."Now theres just something wrong with that picture my dear Doom.And I intend to find out what".

Doc Ock took a few steps closer to Doom."My dear fellow Doctor Octopus cannot be pushed around.I have planned this for months.And it is finally coming together.The city council has agreed my hefty ransom.I have finally destroyed Spider-Man,and after I collect my payment I get the ultimate revenge by drowning this miserable city,the city who shunned and mocked me,in a radiation bath".

Ock smiled smiled at Doom."Now what could you possibly offer me that would make me abandon those plans?"

Rage swept over Doom like never before. He looked down upon the short, stubby figure now glaring at him with almost mocking intensity. Ock was actually grinning at him. Smiling in the face of Dr. Victor Von Doom, teasing him... toying with him. Yet it was not the fact that Octavius dared to insult Doom that got under his skin the most...

... it was that it was working.

Doom let out a small chuckle and began slowly pacing the floor. " It is rare to find an intellect that is even comparable to that of my own, for that I must commend you Octavius. Your efforts here and your accomplishments today are worthy of Doom's respect.

But let's hypothesize for a moment, shall we? You can get your money, and destroy this city that has, like you said, mocked and shunned you for so long. Spider-Man is dead... what next? Architect another diabolical scheme to amass more wealth? For what purpose would it serve? Do you intend to travel the globe, destroying city after city until there is nothing left? As a scientist, you can appreciate that this serves no purpose.

You and I are more similar than you would think Doctor. We are not your average "super-villains", as the media so puts it. These street thugs, these reckless maniacal killers than run the streets, like this pathetic excuse for a human being here (points at Bullseye).... we are not like them. We are men of ambition and achievement... we deserve more.

Doom took a step closer towards Ock, towering over him, light gleaming off his armor. " My control over this planet is inevitable. Many have attempted to quote unquote "rule the world"... but Doom is the only one capable of doing so. I have the resources. I have the power. I have the will.

When that time comes, where will you stand? On top of the ruins of New York City, amongst the dead corpses that you so laid to waste... or as the undisputed ruler of the city that once looked at you with hatred and disgust, but now looks at you with fear and admiration? The choice is yours Doctor, but think logically... I WILL be victorious in this effort...

whether you choose to be victorious with me or not, I leave to you."

Doc Ock stood on two tentacles and walked towards the reactor.He touched it with his hand.He could feel the vibrations inside.He closed his eyes and embraced it.Radiation had been and still was a major part of his life.He turned and faced Doom.

"I commend you too my dear Doctor.Your aspirations are admirable,as is your ambitions.Great men strive to achieve.But how many of them are successful?.Not many.This country is run by fools who think they are better than us.You say you will be victorious.I wish you every success" Ock said as he removed his shades and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger.

"I MUST succeed.I am Otto Octavius.A great scientist.A great man.With the wealth I am about to acquire I can continue my great scientific work.I can prove to the world that I am a genius.New York shunned me,mocked me.Labelled me a criminal and a mad man.Genius has always been reviled by the ignorant.Well now the ignorant will die.Die in my very own radiation bath!!!!" Ock shouted as he slammed the reactor with a tentacle in fury.

Doc Ock placed his shades back on and looked at Doom.It was a look of regret."I decline your offer Dr Doom.Otto Octavius serves nobody.This victory is mine.It has been a long time coming"

Doom unfolded his arms and stood for a second, pondering. The time for negotiations was over.

".....that, my friend.....

...was the wrong answer " he said, as he lunged towards Octavius with a metallic fist raised in the air.

Daredevil listened to the banter between Doom & Octavius. He shook his head Oh I wish Peter could be here for this...Doom & Ock...they might finish each other off...this could be fun to watch but first thing is first.

He locked in on Bullseye and shot this billyclub cord around his neck and pulled him up to the airshaft and let him dangle by his neck. He stared at Bullseye and said, "Didn't I tell you paybacks were hell? I can hear some of the antidote in the vial it'll be enough to keep me alive...I may feel like hell for a while but I'll be feeling more than you will if you don't give me the vial...place it in my hand and I will merely drop you to the ground...if you don't I guesstimate you got about 10 seconds before you begin to experience blacking-out...and then I'll just take it from you...drop it on the ground and I'll let you hang here like a peice of meat until I hear your heart stop beating. Like I said I got nothing else to live for...what's it going to be the vial or choking to death? Your choice either case your life is in my hands." And with that Daredevil pulls even tighter on the cord.

Doc Ock moved back swiftly on two tentacles."Stupid move Doom.And I credited you as a man of intelligence.Oh well you can't be right all the time" Ock sneered.

"Now I suggest you pay careful attention.This reactor has been fitted with a series of explosives.They are triggered by two methods.Firstly if anyone,anyone tries to remove them.They have a proximity detector.Secondly is the triggering device which I have wired into my tentacles" Ock smiled as he snapped a tentacle claw.

"Now all I need do is trigger it with a mere thought.As you know my tentacles are locked into my central nervous system.Any harm comes to me and all I need to is THINK the command and that reactor blows drowning you my dear Doom and all of this miserable city in radiation" Ock laughed.

"And so here is your choice.Leave now and don't even attempt to interfere with me again.Or just try another stupid move like you just did and die in a radiation bath.And yes I am aware that I will perish too.But the ends justifies the means Doom.I'll still have my revenge.Even if it costs me my life" Ock said.

He then grinned slowly."And taking the great Dr Doom with me.Now theres an accomplishment.Spider-Man and Dr Doom.Not a bad days work" Ock laughed fiendishly.

"So whats it to be Doom? Your call" Ock said.

Doom was astounded. Never had he been matched so evenly with another, save for perhaps Richards. Under any other circumstances, he would have been taken aback with respect.

But this was not one of those circumstances, and Doom's patience was wearing thin.

He sneered at Ock. " Please. These threats are meaningless. You expect Doom to believe that you would kill yourself? You said it yourself, you MUST succeed. How can you succeed... if you're dead? So, Octavius, I call your bluff."

Doom's mind was racing. He had to buy time... and although he hated the idea of relying on any other but himself... he hoped to high heaven that Daredevil and Blade had a plan to thwart Octavius.

"....Besides, how can I possibly take you seriously... you, the man who couldn't even kill Spider-Man, a pathetic insect, yourself? You, who had to hire a low life thug to succeed where you so completely and utterly FAILED. You, a man of such intellligence, but is forced to hide underground like a filthy rodent. Don't give yourself so much credit Octavius. Doom sits on a throne atop his own country, and soon the world. The oppurtunity to sit with me still stands... but be warned, failure to comply will result in me squashing the man who couldn't even outsmart the idiot wallcrawler. " Doom laughed nervously, hoping to god Daredevil would arrive soon....

Doc Ock lowered himself onto the ground."One thing you should know Doom is that nothing I say is meaningless.NOTHING!!!".

Ock grinned again."Very well Doom.I'm not a man who is used to repeating himself.If you refuse to leave of your own free will then you can leave in a flood of radiation".

Ock looked at his reactor and his tentacles flexed out.Ock looked back at Doom."Last chance to flee back to your little throne.Or stay and die in a flood of radiation.MY radiation.The energy of the atom.True I do not wish to die but if I must go down then I will go in a blaze of glory.The destruction of New York by radiation.The ultimate revenge of Doctor Octopus".

"Don't try to understand an intellect like mine.In my mind lives the secret of the atom.The power to reshape the world.When you ponder my mind you stare into the sun.Do you understand Doom? And in its atomic fire you will BURN!!!!!"

Bullseye couldn't breathe. For a brief moment, he thought he had his life back. And now it was being taken away again, by Daredevil of all people. Bullseye had to make a desperation move.

With a flick of the hand, a small blade came up from Bullseye's glove. But he couldn't fit the blade under the cord. It was too tight, already digging into his neck. Bullseye had no choice. He stuck the blade into the side of his neck. With an anguished scream of pain, he pulled the blade out, leaving a large gash in his neck, but cutting the cord of the billyclub.

Bullseye collapsed onto the ground. Groaning in pain, he staggered back to his feet. Blood was pouring from the side of his neck. Bullseye pulled off the tattered remains of the top half of his costume, ripping a shred off and pressing it against his neck to slow the bleeding.

"Is this what you want, Devil?"

Bullseye dangled the vial in his trembling hand.

"Look, I don't have a problem giving you this. God forbid if anything happened to this little vial, it would be like sentencin' you to death. We agreed to help each other out, so the right thing to do would be to just hand it..."

Bullseye suddenly turned round and smashed the vial against the reactor wall.

"Aw, diddums," chuckled Bullseye mockingly.

Blade scurried around the corner of the wall he was hiding behind. He took in the sounds of all that was going on along the way. He was making his way along some crates and behind a few forklifts to try and sneak behind Ock and hopefully get a swing at him as planned earlier.

And then suddenly he ran into something, something tall and stiff as stone. Blade was'nt paying attention entirely on where he was going, keeping an eye on Otto and being somewhat distracted by the tempting wiff of Bullseye's blood. Blade looked up and quirked a brow, "What the fu- OomF!", Blade was sent flying back to where he started. A huge blow from a roughly 7 foot, 300 pound bald behemoth knocked him completely off course and back to the hall's entrance.

Blade slowly sat up and looked around weary eyed. He quickly moved his head out of the way, barely dodging his machete from hitting him square in the face. Whoever this guy was, he meant business. At first glance, he was wearing the same uniform as the rest of the guards that he and Daredevil had already taken out, so obviously, this guy was the "top dog" of the lot. "I thought I kilt all ya'll mother****as!", Blade yelled, springing up to his feet in a coruched, judo stance.

The guard came storming towards him, an arm raised, Blade blocked the strike but quickly jerked his arm down, his fore-arm was throbbing from the blow, this guy was ridiculously strong. He shook his hand free of the pain to only look up and get decked square in his jaw, and again to the mid-section, and finally a knee to the ribs.

Blade was kneeling down, blood beginning to spew from his fanged mouth as he coughed it up violently, his hunger was making him weak, good thing he taught himself how to control it for so long. The man was ruthless, grabbing Blade be the back of his vest and the scruff of his tatooed neck, tossing him over to some more crates like a football, which broke on impact.

Blade slowly stumbled to his feet as the man came for more, his legs wiggling like Jell-O. The man tried to strike him down with his fore-arm, which Blade evaded. On the backswing however, he caught Blade right on the chin with his massive elbow, sending him into the air, where he grabbed a chain dangling from the ceiling, using the momentum to swing back and dropkick the man to the floor.

The huge man was quickly getting up and Blade dropped to the ground, grabbing a shard of glass he had equiped earlier and chucking one at his thigh, disabling him for the moment, but the guy simply pulled it out, feeling little to no pain as he pried out the bloody glass, continuing his onslaught. Lucky for Blade, by the time the man had gotten up, he had already gotten enough time to retrieve his machete, which he then launched at his head, catching him point-blank on the top of his skull.

The blade of the machete dug deep enough to reach the giant's nose, killing him instantley. The man's eyes rolled back into his head and a trickle of spit dribbled down his chin as a streak of blood flowed down his forehead. After a moment, he collapsed to the floor, lying there, completely lifeless. Blade sighed in relief, getting down on one knee to catch his breath and let his wounds heal. He then looked around to see if anyone had noticed the whole ordeal....

"Rogue is gonna get Gambit away from Carnage while I distract him.Be prepared if Carnage goes crazy again"

Doom sighed, and quickly began retreating back to the exit. Just as he was at the main door, he turned and looked back at Ock.

" This is not over Octavius. I am not admitting defeat: this confrontation will have to be... indefinitely delayed. Be warned: you have crossed paths with the great Doctor Doom. Your days are numbered."

And with that Doom quickly made his way back outside... almost sprinting towards his jet. Once on board, he began plotting his next course of action.

" Soldier, have your crew jam every satellite transmission in the New York Tri-State area. I want my face on every screen possible in this god forsaken city, Times Square, everything. We will broadcast right from this jet. And get me the United Nations..."

Doom smiled an evil grin under his mask. Now we will see who will burn, Octavius...

Doc Ock laughed."Everyones days are numbered Doom.Some more than others.And I welcome it when our paths cross again.You are a man worthy of my attention".Ock watched as Doom left."Is he gone?" Ock asked in his ear piece."Yeah boss he left on a jet" came the reply.Ock grinned and nodded

"And now the fun really begins" Ock said with a sinister grin.

* New York City. Times Square. People bustle about their lives in the city that never sleeps, drinking, having a good time. Cabs whizz by, horns honk, and on the giant big screen, a man with a steel face suddenly appears.

The crowd goes dead silent.

" Good evening again, New York City. So nice to see you all once again.

I come before you tonight as your friend, and friend to you where your government has failed you and betrayed you.

As we speak, the infamous terrorist Otto Octavius, better known as Doctor Octopus, has taken command of a nuclear reactor. Given his extensive background in the field of nuclear physics, no doubt Octavius has designed plans to destroy this city, YOUR city, in a blaze of fiery radiation.

Your government was aware of this but chose not to inform you, not to allow you the chance to escape the clutches of this madman. Every minute that approaches is a minute that could be the last of your lives, and your government did not grant you the RIGHT to know this. They did not grant you your right to life.

But I am. RUN, New York City. Flee from this place. You see, Doom is your savior. It is only right that he take command of this god-forsaken world and succeed where so many have failed. I urge you to get as far away from Manhattan as possible... for yours and your children's sake. And when this city has been leveled to the ground, and your children are far away, safe and well...

... know that it was DOOM who afforded you that luxury. "

* ... there was a moment there... about 10 seconds where the entire crowd stood in stunned silence. Not a single sound could be heard.

This was followed immediately by the screams of chaos.

Doom smiled as he watched upon the city, in complete panic and disarray... for it was not New York that Doom was trying to protect from Octavius... it was the New Yorkers. As long as the people survived and realized it was he who had saved them... well, this might work out even better than i thought... you can have your city Octavius... but in the end I will have the world kneeling to me...

" Excellent. Now, patch me in with the United Nations. We have some business to attend to."

"Bullseye that was you last mistake...not only did you damage my billyclub, but you hurt the last person you are ever going to hurt," he says.

Daredevil "tinkers" with the canisters of Luqid Nitrogen and then he mixes up a "cocktail" of chemicals that he "borrowed" on a piece of metal. dives down to the floor. He lands next to the reactor and says, "Hey Ock! Think fast" and tosses his canisters right into the reactor.

Once they leave his hand he whips around and fires his metal shard right at Bullseye's open wound one he hears it impact he says, "By the way Bullseye...that was a cocktail of arsenic & Cyanide. Enjoy your last five minutes of life."

And...erm...the mix of arsenic and cyanide? Last five minutes of life? There's no real way to survive that. Ock has other vials of the antidote to the virus, so there's a way for you to survive, but doing that to me sort of completely screws me over MST3K 4Ever.

Plus, it is bad RPG etiquette. You shouldn't say in your posts that the metal shard hits you, you should say that you throw the metal shard at me, leaving me to decide how to react. When I was throwing things from the tolbox at you, I never actually made one of them hit you, I just said where I was aiming them. But you've continually failed to return the favour. I'm bringing it up now because it's literally a life-or-death situation.

And one more thing, it is completely out of character for Daredevil to do something like that. Daredevil, in the comics at least, is strongly against killing, even if it's Bullseye. If he killed Bullseye, it would be in self-defense, not by poisoning him with cyanide.

So I apologise for my next post, which will have to sort of reject what you said. I usually hate cop-out posts, but it's the only way I can personally see me getting out of this situation alive.

Bullseye fell back, scrambling at his neck. Had Daredevil poisoned him? He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the metal shard had stuck into the cloth of his top, which he had been holding up against his neck to slow the bleeding. It hadn't pierced into his wound. But it unsettled Bullseye that Daredevil had undergone this change, that he was now prepared to kill in cold blood.

Bullseye wasn't about to let Daredevil get away alive. Not after that. But then again, Daredevil's days were numbered, anyway. Perhaps Bullseye would let Daredevil and Blade leave, so that Daredevil could die slowly as the virus took effect. For now, Bullseye decided to play dead...

* Carnage smiles at the different tactics these heros are trying to impart to free their Gambit. *

" It is a nice invitation sweetie (Psylocke), but as you can see I have my hands full. "

* As he is speaking more tendrils flow from Carnage and form sharp points poised right before Gambit's eyes. "

In a flash, the tendrils are sliced off and fall to the ground. Reeling backward in pain, another flash and Carnage's face has three long cuts across it. Screaming, Carnage looks to see Wolverine smirking at him with what looks like a freshly peeled face.

"Now we're even, bub."

Doc Ock stood there and watched the canisters fall into the reactor and there was a slight rumble.Ock looked at Daredevil and smiled."Someone never paid attention to his science teacher in school" Ock said mockingly.

"Fool.You'd need truck loads of liquid nitrogen to have even the slightest effect on a nuclear reactor of that size.You forget theres enough radiation in there to drown a city the size of New York.And you,you thought your little cannisters could destroy that?" Ock laughed mockingly.

Ock shot out a tentacle and snared Daredevil by the leg and slammed him into the ground."Stupid fool.You should of left while you had the chance.But you need your salvation don't you? The salvation Bullseye just destroyed".

Ock looked at Daredevil and grinned slowly."But thats not the only vial of antidote there is.I have more.What is that worth to you? What price would you put on your life?"

Bullseye sat up. Playing dead obviously wasn't neccesary anymore. But The Doc had more vials of the antidote? He wasn't seriously going to give one to Daredevil, was he? Bullseye figured that The Doc was just toying with him.

Suddenly, Bullseye realised that with all his attention centred on Daredevil and The Doc, he had lost track of Blade. Drawing out his machete, Bullseye spun round, looking for one more loose end to take care of.

OOC: Sorry for the delay, I was sick. Assume Venom jumped back from Wolverine's attack, and watched them control Carnage from the shadows.

IC: Venom saw as the x-men took care of his spawn, and he crawled acrossed walls until he was a safe distance away, and then webbed back to his dwelling. Allowing his symbiote to retreat into casual clothes, Eddie Brock yawned. "Its been a long day."

Logan watched him swing off and grunted. He had had enough pain for 5 minutes, besides he had Gambit to take care of.

Daredevil very groggy after being slammed to the ground looked at Ock and said, "a little peice of info Doc....I tampered with those canisters...the containment field has been compromised soon we all maybe glowing in the dark. Not to mention your lacky failed you in a big way he tricked. That mask might be Spider-Man's or it might be a cheap thing the toursits can buy. Bottom line is this Spider-Man is still alive...I know Spider-Man quite well...he's a friend of mine. As a man of science you know that humans give of their own scents...Ock that isn't Spider-Man. Why should you beileve me..no reason, but ask yourself one question Doc...do you really believe that your lap-dog would be able to succeed so easily where you and so many others couldn't? He came back without a mark on him and he probably wasn't even sweating. Has dealing with Spider-Man ever been that easy for anyone? In terms of my salvation....I lost my shot at that a long time ago...this condemed man has but one request left...Bullseye dies before me. Sooner or later the virus may get me....but as strong as your hatered is for Spider-Man...my hatered for Bullseye is 10 times stronger."

Hopefully playing Bullseye and Doc off of one another can work...if it does there maybe a way for me to get my hands on the anitdote. No matter what happens though...I can't let Bullseye die...as much as I despise him....I don't need his death on my conscince as well...Karen & Elektra are bad enough...someone I hate would be too much to live with...even for a man with no fear...I hope Blade comes through soon he is really my only chance to stay alive.

Think about this...maybe it was a bluff the whole time (which it was). Make Bullseye think he was dying and turn the tables on him...suddenly he is more desperate than Daredevil to live. Not to mention he just so happens to find that stuff in a lab...labs keep a lot things on hand...aresnic maybe (but Cyanide....What would they need that for in a lab?). In terms of cyanide...death is almost instanteous...that's why so many people in the intellegence community use the capsules in case of capture and so forth.

"The cocktail" was designed to give Bullseye a MAJOR headache and intense nausea. Make him feel like he was dying. I was going to play that to my advantage...but in this case I have no problem with your "cop-out" post as you called it...we'll go from there no problem.

Ock's tentacle flexed up and removed his shades.He took out Spider-Man's mask and held it in his hands.He brought it closer to his face.He looked back at Daredevil.

"Business before pleasure.Whatever little 'cocktail' as you put it that was in those canisters cannot possibly compromise that reactor's containment field.You are talking to the worlds leading authority in radiation.Which is why the explosives I placed around the reactor are strategically placed with a chemical composition that will slowly leak out the radiation before the core bursts drowning all of this miserable city" Ock said with a smirk.

"So we'll just see how effective your little cocktail is" Ock said as he snapped a tentacle claw in Daredevil's face."And now as for the matter of Spider-Man".Ock looked at the mask.He could see visions of the great battles he shared with Spider-Man.What an worthy opponent Spider-Man was.The only man ever to defeat the great Doctor Octopus.

And yet Bullseye kills him on his first attempt? Without a mark or a scratch on him.Bullseye was good but not that good.Ock knew this.Is Daredevil right? Has Bullseye tricked the great Otto Octavius? He already put one over on me once this evening.I will not allow him to trick me again.

Ock grabbed Daredevil in his tentacles.Wrapping them tightly around his arms and legs as he pulled him in closer."Alright Daredevil supposing you speak the truth.Then tell me where is the real Spider-Man? From the viewport aboard his jet, which now hovered above central park, Doom looked down upon the city of new york. chaos was in the air. men, women, and children, all running for their lives, trying to get out of manhattan.... of all cities in the world, this was probably the one that had the most experience dealing with supervillains.

and they knew octavius meant business.

the tunnels and bridges were completely backed up.... with most of brooklyn and queens already evacuated. Doom smiled. It was all coming together.

" Ah, gentlemen " Doom said, as he turned to a live video feed to the UN. Delegates and important politicians from all over the world sat there, attempting to diffuse "hostile" situations. Doom smirked.

" Dr. Doom, you have thrown New York City into a panic. Do you really expect us to co-operate with you now? " the delegate from France spoke, clearly frustrated.

" Co-operation is not an option, my friend. " Doom began. " At this point in time, I am the savior of New York City. I have leveled Seattle to the ground, and still hold the trigger to the end of all your days." He grinned. " But it gets better. You see, as we speak, every major bridge and tunnel in this city has been backed up to high heaven. What these people dont know is that Doom has outfitted every one of these bridges and tunnels with enough explosives to kill everyone in and around it. Now you've seen what has happened in Seattle. I trust you to know by now... I do not "bluff"."

The UN stared in shocked silence.... then a sigh of defeat. " Alright Doom, we'll give you what you want. Just... just, dont kill the new yorkers... they deserve better..."

" Yes, that they do, and Doom will provide it for them. Thank you for your co-operation, gentlemen. we will be in contact soon "... Doom cut the video feed and stared back out the viewport with a smile....

....a smile that quickly turned to a frown. Far off in the distance, Doom observed a sight he knew all too well... and although he knew it was inevitable, he couldnt help but feel flustered. A small orange fireball, shooting into the sky....

" Torch... " Doom growled....

Flying all over New YorK, he is amaze by the anarky that is happening before his eyes. He flys down and starts to do crowd control. He then asks himself.

And the big guy was basically like Doc Ock's "number 1" guard, you know, the man who tells all the other guards what to do, and is usually 100 times stronger than the rest? I got the ideas for that post from The Punisher film (The Russian) and almost every frikkin' video-game to date :p. Here's something to consider...if I am able to take Bullseye down on a consistant basis, and Spider-Man has beaten you more than once...how in the world do you explain Bullseye taking him out on his 1st try?"

"Which leaves me with no further use for you.I've had enough 'visitors' for one evening.Leave the way you came.You're no threat to me" Ock laughed as he swung Daredevil around in his tentacles towards a high up window.

Daredevil crashed thru the glass and was gone.

Ock suddenly got a message from one of his henchmen."Uh boss we have a problem.Doom just announced your plans to all of New York in Times Square.Theres panic in the city.Everyone is evacuating".

Doc Ock smiled narrowly and said "Touche Doom.Touche.But I still hold all the cards".

Photon appears to disapear in front of them as she transmits herself into x-rays (which are invisible) and flys off to trail Carnage at a discrete distance.

Blade stumbled to his feet, his left arm wrapped around his torso where huge guard he had just disposed of had beaten down on. He was tired, hungry, and just recently bruised. So tired infact that his healing abilities were barely able to cure his minor cuts, let alone his cracked rib. But there was no way in hell, that he was gonna give up now, even with Daredevil out the window (excuse the pun, lol).

Blade reached down to the man's head. After a few pulls, he was finally able to pry out the machete embedded into his skull. He looked down at the bloody blade and then turned his gaze over to Bullseye, who was approaching with a machete of his own.

Blade sped over to him, in an enormous rage, the machete dragging behind him. He was'nt even paying attention to the pain in his side - he was almost too numb to give a rat's ass. "Oh hell yeah, it's time to give yo' punkass da business!", he launches himself into the air like as if he had a pair of springboards on the soles of his boots. He spins over Bullseye, his machete coming in contact with his own while in mid-air.

When Blade landed he was standing behind Bullseye, his posture was straight and calm as the ocean. He didn't even bother to turn around, simply pulling out another one-liner, "And I really don't think you're ready for da business.".....

Daredevil feels himself flying though the air and as soon as the glass breaks he grabs on the window frame. Okay...now it's time to play my cards..let's go with insanity

Daredevil climbs back up through the wiindow and flips back to the floor. He lands and says, "It's all so clrea now...I can see it all now....IT'S BEAUTIFUL!! I'M ALIVE!!!" He begins to run around the room laughing like a manic and shouts to Blade, "IT WAS ALL WORTH IT! I SEE THE LIGHT!"

"Was I too subtle before? Or is there a specific reason you keep coming back? Like some lost little puppy" Ock sneered.One of Ock's tentacles reached inside his pocket and brought out a small vial of liquid.

Ock smiled thinly and said "Is this what you want? Your precious antidote? You may want to settle Bullseye's hash but I know you also want to live.And I hold your salvation"

Ock flexed the tentacle out above the reactor dangling the vial in between the tentacle claw."Now you're going to do exactly what I say.Aren't you?" Ock said with a sly smile.

OOC: Sorry, TheElderOne, I made a continuity error. It's not a machete I brought with me, it was a butcher knife. But, so you don't have to edit your post, we'll just say I got the machete off of one of the dead guards. And I did read your post. But you made it out as if you were seperated from the rest of us, hence me acting like I couldn't find you. Back to the fight!

Bullseye turned round, giving Blade a look of contempt.

"Da business? You're becomin; a parody of yourself, Grace."

Bullseye raised the machete, and started twirling it around, as if he was preparing to lunge at Blade. Bullseye could see Blade's steely-eyed determination to beat him, to kill him. Bullseye wasn't going to let that happen.

"Oh, did you lose your little shades? Clumsy, you'd lose your head if it wasn't attached!"

Bullseye pretended to lunge forward with the machete, but at the last minute pulled back, in at attempt to throw Blade off balance. While holding onto the machete, he threw the butcher knife he'd brought with him, aiming it at Blade's chest.

:doom: " OOMF!!!" Doom let out a grunt as the impact from the Fantasti-car sent him flying towards the building that the Human Torch landed on. He crashed into brick and glass, the impact leaving Doom dizzy and disoriented, not aware that he was now falling face first towards the ground...

... at the last second Doom realized what was happening and managed to use his jet packs to brace the impact... he still landed with a resounding crack in the pavement, but the crash was no longer lethal.

Flustered, Doom slowly rose... reeling from his near deadly fall. On one knee, he spit out blood through his mask. Rage swept over Doom. This cannot be the end... the pathetic firefly will not succeed!!

Fueled by his rage and the damage done to his pride, Doom stood, his robes in tatters. His jet pack was no longer operational: he had lost the power of flight. No matter... i will destroy the insect from the ground if need be...Doom rested his palms against the building upon which the Torch had landed on. He had seen Torch go super nova and knew what strain it put on his powers. Doom knew if there was ever a minute to strike, now was the time.

Slowly, energy began to emit from Doom's palms, showering the base of the building in an orange glow. The glow began to get brighter and hotter, until finally the entire base of the building exploded in an array of brick, ash, and glass.... causing the entire structure to come crashing down... with Johnny still on top....

*Feeling the tremble from within the building, he weakly taps the four logo on his uniform again and rolls over the edge of the building. The fastasti- car catches him in mid fall, and hovers away form the destruction. Injured and flying back to the Baxter building, Johnny takes a peek at the collapsing building.*

"Did I win; it can't be that easy, it had to be a Doombot. Why would Doom do a two for one, if it wasn’t? I just want to go home and watch Justice League Unlimited."

Doom watched from the ground as Johnny made his escape in the Fantasti-car. Any other time, he would have chased the Torch to the ends of the earth, and eliminate him once and for all....

... but now was not the time, and Doom was secretly relieved that the Torch had made his getaway. It was hard for Doom to admit it to himself, but he wasn't sure if he would be able to take out Storm in his weakened state. Oh, he could definitely give Johnny a run for his money, but if the rest of the Fantastic Four showed up... well Doom didnt want to think about it.

Besides... he thought. I have bigger fish to fry.

Doom signaled for his jet, which landed nearby in Central Park. He boarded the aircraft, still panting and grimacing from his injuries. That fall had taken alot out of him... every moment of his body ached... no... cannot show weakness....

" Soldier " Doom said with authority, attempting to remain composed and steel away the pain. " Full status report. NOW "

" The city continues to evacuate sir. The outside boroughs are near desolate, but midtown manhattan is still trying to make their way out... traffic is backed up to high heaven. We have recieved unconditional surrender from Transylvania and Hungary, and our forces in homeland Latveria have begun executing your plans for expansion into those regions. And we've finally found the mutant codename: Magneto. He is currently in Genosha. "

Finally, some good news... Doom thought. " Patch me through to him immediately." Victor walked over to the control panel of his ship, and stood in front of a live video feed with Magneto.

Doc Ock looked at Daredevil with a bemused look on his face."And what is this ridiculousness?" Ock said with a level sort of impatience.

"Was I too subtle before? Or is there a specific reason you keep coming back? Like some lost little puppy" Ock sneered.One of Ock's tentacles reached inside his pocket and brought out a small vial of liquid.

Ock smiled thinly and said "Is this what you want? Your precious antidote? You may want to settle Bullseye's hash but I know you also want to live.And I hold your salvation"

Ock flexed the tentacle out above the reactor dangling the vial in between the tentacle claw."Now you're going to do exactly what I say.Aren't you?" Ock said with a sly smile.

Daredevil continued his "insanity defense" (OCC:for lack of a better term) until he saw Ock hold out the vial. He stopped and turned his head as though he was a dog hearing a high-pitched sound and smiled thinly just like Ock did (almost a mirror image) and giggled low. He says, "Pretty vial....pretty pretty."

There is no way in this world that Ock hands me that vial...no way. He'd rather let Spider-Man beat him to a pulp in front of The Green Goblin, Kingpin, Venom & Electro. For now I have to play the game...remember The Art of War.

With that Daredevil shifts his weight and bends his body in half grabbing his billyclub in his boot. He straightens his body out again and as he does he fires his cord wrapping it around Ock's neck. He looks at Ock and says, " All-right you psycho...You can thank Bullseye for the jagged edges currently nicking up your neck. If I jerk on the cord those jagged edges will cut deeper. I pull hard enough I might even be able to re-enact 'Highlander'. Now what's your life worth? He swings up on the pipe and dives where Bullseye cut his Billyclub. He re-attaches the grappling hook section and then smells something The antidote...there is still residue and drops on the wall. He slides his glove along the wall and picks up the moisture and swallows it.

That should do something to the virus. My head is starting to clear up but I still feel like death warmed over...which means I still need more...a stop-gap at this point is better than nothing.

He shoots his hook out the window and swings away to find Spider-Man.

Bullseye when he cut the cord threw what he had left in his vial (which there was some) antidote against the wall. Like I said it probably won't be enough to save him maybe buy him a little more time...much like the four canisters weren't enough to stop the nuclear reactor...this is a stop-gap.

OOC: Damn it, TheElderOne, where are you? My fate is in the hands of Daredevil and Doc Ock and I can't do anything about it, because I'm in the middle of fighting Blade! Do you mind if I go after Daredevil, Blade? Doc Ock needs someone to fight. We'll have round 2 later.

Bullseye didn't see if his butcher knife hit its mark on Blade or not. He'd picked up what The Doc and Daredevil had said about him. Unless he could find the real Spider-Man, Bullseye was as good as dead. So, taking the momentary distraction of throwing the butcher knife as an opportunity to escape, Bullseye leaped over Blade and sprinted out of the power plant.

He walked round the outside of the power plant, and spotted Daredevil, a good distance in front of him. Bullseye was going to keep that distance, for now at least. He was going to follow Daredevil until he found Spider-Man. Once he did that, Bullseye would finish them both off, and bring The Doc both of their severed heads. That would really prove his worth, enough to finally get his money.

Daredevil wasn't going to be a problem. He had that loser's number. But what about Spider-Man? He was the wildcard. Bullseye was going to have to find another way to get to him. Bullseye strapped the machete to the side of his belt and took off after his nemesis.

Bullseye was following Daredevil through the city. He was going over the plan in his head. Wait until Daredevil found Spider-Man. Kill them both before they knew what hit them. Decapitate both of them. Bring their heads to The Doc...

Bullseye stopped dead. Suddenly it occurred to him how ridiculous this was. The Doc wanted his head on a platter, and he was going to freely walk back to the power plant to be killed? And for what? Money? Bullseye realised how stupid he was being. He had got the antidote, got his life back. And he was going to throw it all away for greed? The Doc would have killed him anyway, Bullseye knew that deep down. There was no way he was going back to the power plant.

It was time for Bullseye to seek new employment. This time, he wanted job security and health benefits. Oh, and no lethal airborne viruses or goddamn nuclear reactors.

Bullseye stopped following Daredevil. He was going to die anyway. As was Spider-Man, Blade and the rest of New York City. Bullseye instead headed back to his secret hideout. He entered the dingy apartment for what would most likely be the last time. It was time to move on.

Bullseye scrambled through the drawer by the bedside table. He found what he was looking for. A plane ticket to Chicago. One way. Bullseye placed it on top of the bedside table. He needed to change into his civvies. He'd thrown away his mask and his top had been torn to shreds, so he didn't exactly have much of his costume left anyway. Fortunately he had a few extra costumes to change into. Those went straight into his small suitcase, along with his forged passport.

Bullseye was about to open the wardrobe to get out some plain clothes, but noticed his hands were shaking. His head started throbbing with pain.

"No! Not now, not like this."

Bullseye staggered into the tiny bathroom. He scrambled to open the medicine cabinet, but couldn't get a grip of the door. Then the seizure took effect. Bullseye collapsed to the ground, smacking the back of his head of the toilet seat. Bullseye lay spasming violently on the floor, then went still.

Daredevil began swinging through the city searching for Spider-Man. Wait a minute...I have a sample of the antidote in my blood & a good size sample on my glove...Curt Connors owes Matt Murdock a favor...as soon as I find Spider-Man I will have to pay him a visit...finding Spider-Man though is priority 1.

Doc Ock walked on two tentacles up the walk way to greet his henchmen who just arrived.Doc Ock looked at them studiously."Well?" he asked impatiently.

"They paid up boss.We collected it" they said as they held up the large suitcase."Damn thing weighs a tonne".

Ock snatched it with a tentacle claw."Considering theres 500 million dollars in unmarked bills in this case I should say it weighs a tonne" Ock said with a gleeful laugh."And the best part is that I shall not have give that pea brained lap dog Bullseye his cut..........not that I ever intended to" Ock said with a sly smile.

"So what now boss?" One of his henchman asked."Its chaos out there.People are jamming the streets trying to evacuate thanks to Doom blowing the whistle on your plans".

Doc Ock looked at the reactor and paused for a moment and then turned to face his henchmen."Prepare the chopper for take off" Ock said.His henchman looked at eachother."We're leaving Doc?" they asked.

"Oh yes" Ock said as he looked at the bundles of cash laid out in the case."Doom thinks he got one over on me.But this doesn't change a thing.The city is far from evacuated.True I won't be killing as many as I'd like to have but nevertheless destruction is destruction.New York will become a radiation bath.This city destroyed.Foever.The ultimate revenge of Doctor Octopus".

Doc Ock looked at his henchmen and smiled slyly."And to top it off Bullseye and Spider-Man are running around out there somewhere like headless chickens.I'll be destroying them as well.Two birds one stone gentleman.Now prepare the chopper.Once we are safely in air I'll detonate the explosives in the reactor releasing the radiation and drowning this miserable city and it's remaining inhabitants" Ock laughed fiendishly.

*Iceman is lounging around when the mansion communication center went off.*
"Attention X-Men, The Human Torch is requesting any available heros to help him fight Doom. Any help would be appreciated."-The computer said

Doom sat in the cockpit of his jet, hovering above Central Park, arms folded in front of his chest. His body ached and throbbed, but he ignored the pain. His attempt to connect with the mutant Magneto had failed and he now began plotting his next move. Any minute now, Doom knew that the city could be blown to the sky... perhaps sticking around was not the best course of action. He had gotten what he wanted: Latveria would expand her borders and his control would be extended further throughout Eastern Europe. That was the beginning.

... but a twitch in the back of his mind made Doom scowl. Octavius... Torch... He had been confronted by 2 foes today: one familiar, one not... both still alive.

The latter thought made Doom furious. The mere idea of ANYONE matching wits or brawn for the matter with Victor Von Doom was enough to drive him insane.

He reached out and grabbed hold of the steering wheel and began flying straight towards the Baxter Building. Johnny was alone as far as Doom knew, and even in his weakened state, Doom was positive Torch would be no match for him.

With his jet packs repaired... Doom flew out the jet and released a beam of energy straight through the window of the top level of the Baxter Building...

After his inspirational talk with H.E.R.B.I.E., and the robot sent Johnny's message to all heroes about a temp "FF", destruction erupts within the living quarters of the Baxter Building. That destruction is in a form of an energy beam by Doom.

"HOLY $H!T, what the heck is going on! When is help going to come. H.E.R.B.I.E. activate the defense programs now!"

*H.E.R.B.I.E. folows Storm's demands. All the openings of the Baxter building are suddenly barricaded with slabs of vibirium.*

*Captain America is siting at his dest pouring through superhero dossiers and picks 6 out. He picks, Photon's, Spider-Man's, Wolverine's, Hulk's, and Daredevil's*

"We'll be called the Avengers"

*He calls them all up to ask.*

And at that moment Cap hears a soft raping at the door which slowly opens as Photon sticks her head fhru and waves.

"Oh, Cap. I'm stopped by for a bit of before heading back to 'Oleans, And since Javis told me you were here, I thought I should stop by to say hi."

Bullseye was woken up by the sensation of a hand on his face. His eyes wearily blinked open. He was stunned to see Mary-Jane looking down at him.

"We've got to go now!" she said.

Bullseye gawped at her stupidly for a moment, before finally beginning to talk.

"Wh-what are you doing here?"

Mary-Jane moved closer to Bullseye and began to kiss him. When she finally pulled away, she had turned into Karen Page.

"What the..." started Bullseye.

"Shhhh.....it's okay. I'm here with you now," said Karen Page soothingly. Then her hands slowly wrapped round Bullseye's neck, choking him.

In a panic, Bullseye looked up. Karen had turned into Elektra.

"Even if you killed me."

With a small scream, Bullseye woke up from his feverish nightmare, covered in sweat. He was still on the bathroom floor. The seizure had passed, but how long had he been out for? A minute? An hour? Bullseye realised that he didn't have time to get to the airport. He was going to have to do what he should have done hours ago: he was going to take care of The Doc himself.

He armed himself with some more throwing stars and blades, restocking his arsenal. Then he went outside his dingy little apartment. It was getting light in New York, but the sun had yet to rise. But it was almost surreal. In the city that never sleeps, the streets were strangely empty. Word about what The Doc was up to had obviously gotten around.

As much has Bullseye hated New York City and all it's stinking inhabitants, he didn't want to see the city wiped out. There was a lot of money to be made by a hitman in The Big Apple. No, he was going to do what all the so-called heroes had been too pathetic to pull off. He was going to have to save the day.

"Interesting..." Doom muttered as his barrage against the Baxter Building was quickly halted by the vibirium casing now protecting the Fantastic Four's headquarters, and more importantly, the member stuck inside. Doom knew this security system had been designed by Reed Richards himself... it would be a taxing task to infiltrate. No, Doom would need to take a different approach.

" TOOOORCCCCHHH!!! " Doom roared, his voice echoing thru the bustling metropolis. Johnny wasn't able to see Victor, but he surely could hear him. That was enough.

" YOU COWARD!!! FACE DOOM, AND LOOK UPON YOUR DEATH!!! NOW IS THE TIME FOR OUR FINAL CONFRONTATION!!! " Doom looked down to street level... he could still see a few civilians making their way out of the city. Then he got an idea.

" STORM!! " Doom began again, bellowing as loud as he could. " IF YOU DO NOT FACE ME, THE BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT WILL BE ON YOUR HANDS!! FOR EVERY MINUTE THAT PASSES IN WHICH YOU DO NOT SHOW YOURSELF, I WILL KILL 5 INNOCENT CIVILIANS!! THEIR LIVES REST ON YOUR SHOULDERS, TORCH!! NOW FIGHT!!"

Under his mask, Doom let a sly smirk pass across his face, raising his palms again to strike out against the Human Torch once he emerged....

Daredevil continued searching for Spider-Man, when he felt worse than previously. Oh great the stop-gap is wearing off. Have to find Connors now otherwise finding Spider-Man will be the least of my concerns.

He swings to ESU and hears Connors working in his office, and proceeds to smash through the window. Connors gasps and says, "Daredevil...I have heard of you? What are you doing here?"

Daredevil replies, "It's a long story...but here's the Cliff Notes version...Doc Ock has infected me with an airborne virus of some kind. I need you to synthazie a cure fro me using the sample I have on my glove' (he hands him his glove) "and I also have ingested some the cure but not enough for long term effects. You told Matt Murdock you owed him a favor for lecturing your class once on science & legal matters, well he is a friend of mine and I am calling in his favor."

Connors takes the glove, and pulls out a syringe. He says, "Roll up your sleeve so I can get a blood sample."

Connors takes a sample and says, "Rest here on my couch I'll see what I can do."

Daredevil begins to drift asleep. He sees visions of his father, Elektra and Karen all yelling to him to fight back and to get up. He begins thrashing about in his sleep until he feels something slap him hard. Dr Connors says, "Sorry I had to get you to calm down. I was able to create an antidote from your 2 samples I am going to inject this into you so hold still."

Daredevil felt the anitdote coursing through his veins, and he felt the fog he had been in began to lift. He stood up slowly and suddenly is blown back by a nuclear blast. Dr Connors cuts on his radio but it doesn't work. He switches on the batteries and hears the Emergency Broadcast System announce the situation. Daredevil says, "Ock did it...that little psycho. I never though he'd do it...and Bullseye helped him."

Dr. Connors says, "We have bigger problems now. Radiation do you feel it?"

Daredevil says, "Yes the air is heavy with it, but it is also heavy with something else as though something is trying to block it."

Connors then tells Daredevil of Photon in the air absorbing the radiation.

Daredevil looks at Connors and says, "Doc, I hate to be cured and run but..."

Connors replies, "I understand go do what you have to do."

As Daredevil heads out towards broken window he turns to Dr. Connors and says, "Oh by the way send the bill for the broken window to Matt Murdock. I think he'll be more than willing to cover the costs."

Connors chuckles and says, "I will, and tell Matt I said 'hi'."

With that Daredevil nods at Connors. He begins to swing through the city looking for Spider-Man. Until he hears a report of SHEILD capturing Ock & Bullseye. Well looks like the search for Spider-Man is over with for now. I probably should head towards the Avengers mansion and see if Cap could use a little bit of help. Not to mention the chance to see Ock & Bullseye captured...it's too much to pass up

Daredevil swings on towards the Avengers Mansion.

Doc Ock's chopper took off from the roof of the power plant.Ock sat there with the large suitcase of money in his lap.He had an odd stony look upon his face.

"Take us at least 500 feet in the air.That will put us in a safe vicinity from the blast" Ock told his pilot.Ock looked down at New York and removed his shades.A smile spread across his face.

"You were my home,a place of education,a place of torment,a place of emotional suffering,a place of shame,and a place of imprisonment for me.But now it is I who decides the fate of New York" Ock said with a snarl.

"You've tarnished the great name of Doctor Octopus for the last time" Ock shouted as he twitched his two upper tentacle claws.The was a clicking sound.Then from below was a large rumble.And a brilliant flash of orange as the power plant blew.

"Go my beauty go.You are free.Free to ravage this paltry city" Ock said as he watched the radiation wash over New York in a devastating blaze.Buildings toppled.Concrete and debris were rampant.Fire and smoke consumed the city in a devastating blaze.

Doc Ock watched very carefully.His hands clenched into fists.His teeth gritted.His eyes wide.His tentacles wavering around him in excitement.

"Good bye Spider-Man" Ock whispered to himself."And good bye Bullseye you treacherous snake".Ock turned to his henchman."And all thats left now is for New York to stew in that radiation bath for the next 58 years or so" He laughed.

"It was always meant to end this way.Otto Octavius is the better man.I always was.They were all jealous of me.Well now they have died for their sins against me.Against my genius" Ock said grandly as the chopper flew off into the night.

What did the future hold for Doc Ock? Nobody knew.Least of all Otto Octavius himself.But what he did know,that right at this moment he was the victor.And to the the victor go the spoils he thought as he smiled at the large case of cash he still held in his lap.

"I can't believe you actually did it. New York is gone. Now it's just you, me and this pilot here. And if you keep driving, Mr. Piloy, I'll let you live, and even give you a cut of the money. Just a small cut, mind you."

Bullseye patted the sweating pilot on the back.

"You see, when I was out soul-searching around the power plant, before I spotted Daredevil and Blade, I had a wander around the roof, spotted the chopper. I knew you were going to betray me, but rather than walk into the power plant and die, I took the smarter approach, and came here and waited for you. Thar's right, Doc! I outsmarted you! The great Doctor Octopus outwitted by a simpleton like Bullsey, not once, not twice, but three times in one night! How stupid must that make you, huh?"

Bullseye glanced out of the chopper window at the ruins of New York City.

"I was going to try and save the place, you know. But I realised I didn't stand a chance in a fight against you. So I went for this approach. And deep down, I guess I thought you wouldn't reallt destry New York City. But you did it, didn't you?"

Bullseye unbuckled The Doc's seatbelt.

"And if New York City has to burn, Doc, you can join them, you fat bastard!"

Suddenly, appearing before the chopper in full shadow, a hull of the Shield helicarrier stops. Standing on the hull is Wolverine and Nick Fury. Legions of armed flying SHIELD agents pour out of the doorways and quickly surround the chopper.

Wolverine yells into a com on his wrist: "PHOTON, if you can hear this, radiation is seeping into the city, need you ASAP, lady!!!", broadcast on the Avenger's frequency.

"Awright, Nick...time to work." Leaping from the hull, Logan crashes through the windhield of the helicopter, puncturing through the pilot.

"You two freaks are under arrest...SHIELD style."

This whole disaster in new York City is certainly controversial. I'd say that, seriously speaking, there are only a handful of playres that could feasibly have survived Doctor Octopus's radiation bath. I personally thought that one of the RPG key rules was that you couldn't kill off other players unless they intended to leave the RPG anyway. If this is the case, Doc Ock has broken that rule several times over in his post.

On the other hand, for those few of us that are left, this opens up avenues for some fascinating storyline opportunities. Then again, it sucks that our membership has been decimated just as the RPG was picking up steam.

This is a complicated situation we've got ourselves into. I say we discuss this on the OOC thread before proceeding any further in the RPG.

Right now, as sweat dripped down his brow, Magneto's willpower kept a magnetic forcefield around every single New Yorker's body for protection from the radiation. Because, as any physicist knows, radiations are only free radical particles, and all have a charge. So now, the magnetic barriers protected all New Yorkers from falling debri and radiation, but Magneto was tiring out. Hopefully Photon can get rid of the radiation so Magneto could turn his efforts to rebuilding New York...*

Doom had been launching an assault against the Baxter Building when he heard a low rumble.... he knew what was happening.

As fast as he could, Doom returned back to his jet and quickly sat down in the cockpit, grabbing hold of the steering wheel. He turned directly up and as fast as he could, just as a brilliant flash of orange light exploded behind him.... the power plant.

Doom roared with anger. "OCTAVIUS!!!"

OOC: ummmm actually i think we might be ok. The characters who are in danger right now are Daredevil, Spider-Man, Blade, Psylocke, Venom & Carnage. They are the ones still trapped in the city with no ways of getting out. Lets try and find a solution as to how they can realisitically get out of NYC safely.

Suddenly, appearing before the chopper in full shadow, a hull of the Shield helicarrier stops. Standing on the hull is Wolverine and Nick Fury. Legions of armed flying SHIELD agents pour out of the doorways and quickly surround the chopper.

Wolverine yells into a com on his wrist: "PHOTON, if you can hear this, radiation is seeping into the city, need you ASAP, lady!!!", broadcast on the Avenger's frequency.

"Awright, Nick...time to work." Leaping from the hull, Logan crashes through the windhield of the helicopter, puncturing through the pilot.

"You two freaks are under arrest...SHIELD style."

OOC: Sorry, Doc Ock, I know it's a cop-out, but you can't seriously expect to just kill off everyone in the RPG and end it just as it's really gaining momentum, can you? I think it was a brash move on your part, which led to a "bull", but necessary move on my part. Besides, we've been captured by SHIELD now, so play along.

Bullseye gave a small laugh, looking up at Wolverine.

"You know, I coulda been on a plane to Chicago right now."

He looked outside through the shattered window at the sky. The sun was rising. Bullseye had done it. Against all the odds, he'd survived the night. Bullseye felt a pang of relief and gratitude as he raised his hands in surrender.

Doc Ock and Bullseye were handcuffed and loaded onto a SHIELD helicarrier.Ock sat there with a blank look on his face.Bullseye on the other hand was sitting there looking like the cat who got the cream.

"You can wipe that stupid smirk off your face.Don't even think for a second you have survived this" Ock snarled.

"The only reason I have let these fools take me in is because escape is not an option right now.New York is drowning down there in a radiation bath.And the higher I am the safer I am.And if that means being taken into SHIELD headquarters then so be it" Ock said.

Ock looked round at the many SHIELD officers who had guns pointed on him."Tell me officers do you truly believe your pathetic weapons are any threat to me? You are just another means to an end" Ock laughed.

"And when I meet the great Nick Fury in person.I'll gladly tell him so".

*A man smirks from the comment from the shadows of inside the helicarrier*

"Adamantium claws against my unbreakable 24 foot long adamntium tentacles" Ock said with an amused look on his face."You're about as intimidating as a 5 year old child pouting for a new toy" Ock said mockingly.

Ock edged in closer to Bullseye."You fry my brain with electricity,you try to fool me into thinking you killed Spider-Man,and then you hold a knife to my throat and try to take my money" Ock whispered.

"By all rights I should kill you 10 times over and come back to piss on your grave" Ock said with a vicious grin.

"But tell me something Bullseye.How badly do you want your cut of that money and how badly do you want your freedom?" Ock asked.

Bullseye looked at him with a stunned but an intrigued look."I am serious.If you want to repay for your trangressions against me then you will play along to my plan.Or else you can rot in a SHIELD prison.Either way Otto Octavius is going to escape from SHIELD headquarters.......with that ransom they took from me"

They walked inside and sat down taking off their radiation suits now in ordinary costumes.

Bullseye was slumped down in his seat in the SHIELD helicarrier. It gave him a degree of satisfaction seeing The Doc in the same position as him, heading for prison. But on the other hand, he just couldn't get over what a waste the whole thing had been.

Bullseye had been infected with a lethal virus, been burned by Green Goblin's lasers, lost a couple of teeth, broken his nose, almost been blown up, dangled over a nuclear reactor, almost been beheaded by two different people, been punched a good few times, been hit in the nuts, almost been hanged, had to carve a hole in his own neck, had a seizure, smacked his head off a toilet bowl and he had been beaten up by his boss so many times he had lost count. And he hadn't even been paid for his troubles. Instead, he was about to be carted off to a SHIELD prison.

Bullseye finally broke the smug silence he'd maintained throughout the journey with a chuckle, which grew into a laugh. His laugh continued, gradually getting louder to the point where it was near-hysterical.

Bullseye was going to have to think of an escape plan? Was he going to work with The Doc? Or was he going to go with another plan? After all, he did have one bargaining chip. He knew Spider-Man's secret identity...

Bullseye looked at the little furry guy who had arrested him. Adamantium claws had came out of his skin and were pressed up against The Doc's neck. The Doc may not have been Bullseye's favourite person at the moment, but Bullseye reasoned that it might be better for him if The Doc stayed alive for now. He was going to have to divert Captain Caveman's attention.

"Hey, are those adamantium? You know, my skeleton's laced with adamantium as well." said Bullseye, "So, what's your name."

There was no answer.

"I know why you don't want to be talkin' to me. You think I'm a monster, don't you? Well, I'm just a normal guy really. I do things that normal people do. I'll tell you a story."

"I actually went out on a date not too long ago. Cute little blonde. Her name was Jenny, or Jane, or somethin' like that. Anyway, I take her to a restaurant. I make a lot of money killin' people, so I can afford to take a broad to a nice restaurant, you know what I mean? Anyway, we get along great, and I think this could be the beginnin' of somethin' real special. So I walk her to her door, and there's this awkward moment. Do I just say goodnight, do I kiss her, I don't know. So I just put a pair of scissors through her jugular."

Bullseye looked at Wolverine's disgusted face, and started laughing all over again. He looked up at this nameless enemy.

"But you know all about killin', don't you, buddy? You didn't get those claws for trimmin' the lawn. Tell me about yourself, I'm interested."

OOC: Being new to the Marvel RPG, I was looking forward to this side story started by Kang604 and I. We already had a duel and with the X-men coming to help for the second encounter, this story had potential. Oh well! I'll deal with it.

*Safe in the Baxter Building protected with vibirium, Johnny is in shock. With the radiation meters going off in Reed's lab, he knows that a nuclear attack has happened outside. The only thing he could do is to turn on the T.V. He experiences news anchor people proclaiming that New York is a nuclear wasteland. If the Reed, Ben, or Sue finds out they will blame him because he was not there to stop the event. He then wanders inside Reed’s Lab; he watches the meter and listens to the screaming alarms.

Then something catches his attention, Reed’s time machine!*

*Johnny grabs a huge nap sack and fills it with items he finds in Reed's lab that is in close vicinity. He runs over to the target area, and tells H.E.R.B.I.E. to set the controller to hours before the event. Then H.E.R.B.I.E. activates the program and Johnny goes back in time!*

Gambit gives the thumbs up to Iceman ' Right on it'.He gets into the drivers seat of the Blackbird and preps for take off. 'Rogue Iceman...Ready?' He winks at Rogue ' I know you allways ready' ;)

Octavius sat in his cell brooding.He had been so close.He had the money,he had drowned the city in radiation.That was one thing that comforted him.The devastation he had caused.

"They'll me cleaning up that mess for weeks" Ock whispered to himself with a smile.He looked at his tentacles.They lay limp and beside him.But they were not dead.He could feel them.He could hear them.All they needed was an electric jolt to revive the nano wires that fed directly into his cerebellum.

"Remove my arms" he laughed to himself."Fools.They are welded to spine.Locked into my nervous system.You can't remove them without killing me.And one thing they cannot and will not do is kill me".

Ock smirked again."They draw backs of being the good guy" he said to himself mockingly.

Ock looked around the cell.There was his bed,a sink,and a toilet.There was some overhead lights in the ceiling lighting the cell.Ock stood up and walked under the lights.Wires,the wires feeding into those lights will have current running thru them.

"I must access those wires" he thought to himself.He looked around the room.He pulled his bed over and stood on it so he could reach the ceiling.Ock picked up one of his limp tentacles and began chizzling away at the ceiling concrete with one of the tentacle claws.

One hour later
"Finally" Ock said as the black wires appeared beneath the chizzled concrete.Very carefully Ock pulled them out.He sliced the wires with the jagged edge of the tentacle claw and jammed them into the tentacles claws.

He could feel it.The current flowing in.The lights in the cell began to flicker and dim.Outside he could hear the SHIELD guards shouting "We have a brown out.The hall lights are dimming.Check the generator".

"No fools" Ock thought to himself."They are repowering my tentacles".As the tentacles began to quiver and move at Ock's mental command.

Ock looked at them and smiled."Welcome back my darlings.But for the mean time its best you play possum".

[Bat Andy]

* Carnage has waded through the vast amount of people on the subway car and killed a majority of them now he changes back to cletus cassiday his hunger satiated and when the train comes to a stop at the station he calmly walks off smiling as the screams of the people boarding begin. *

"Dammit, Nick...I can't be everywhere. Carnage was ripping the place up, what the hell was I supposed to do? Isn't Ock one of the webhead's dance partners anyway? Gimmie a minute, I gotta check in."

Grabbing a card from his side chest pocket, he activates it.

"Cap, what's the status on the other Avengers? We NEED Photon to come in and absorb all that radiation. We wait much longer, I say get the T-Bolts on it. They got that Chinese doctor guy now, don't they?"

Or does he? The machine starts to blow puffs of smoke into the lab and make wierd noises.

*He throws his sack into the corner and walk around the lab for a bit.*

Bullseye's head snapped upright. He was awake. The last thing he could remember clearly was getting shot by those tranqs, and from them on he had been in la-la land. but now he was in a holding cell. 4 walls, a bench melded into the floor. Nothing he could use as a weapon. His gloves, boots and belt had been taken away from him, seeing that they were all full of concealed weapons. It didn't seem like escape was going to be easy.

But what was the alternative? Bullseye wandered what would happen to him. Most likely they'd lock him in the deepest, darkest corner of a maximum security prison, throw away the key and let him spend the rest of his life rotting away in captivity. He wouldn't get the death penalty, at least. That was one perk of having a brain tumour - it always let him plead insanity whenever he was caught. That reminded him that he didn't have access to his medication. That had the potential to become a problem.

Bullseye closed his eyes and leaned his back against the cold steel of the cell wall. He wondered what it was like in New York City. Was everyone dead? Most likely. Bullseye didn't know why that saddened him a little. Was there really anyone he cared about in New York, anyone he cared about at all? He guessed there was his foster dad, but he hadn't seen him in about 15 years. Apart from that, Bullseye couldn't really think of anyone.

Bullseye wandered if that was maybe a little pathetic. Here he was, a guy in his thirties, and he had no family, no real close friends. Hell, the closest thing he had to a friend was the freakin' Doc, who had tried to kill him a couple of hours earlier. If he were to drop dead this very second, would anyone give a damn? Fifty years from now, would anyone remember Bullseye?

What the hell was he thinking? People like Mary-Jane, if she was still alive, would be seeing him in their nightmares until their dying day. He was one of the deadliest men on the planet, the greatest assassin in the world. He would go down in history as one of the most infamous figures of his generation. That gave Bullseye a small smile of pride. He'd lived an eventful life and, most important of all, he'd had a great time along the way.

Bullseye absently tapped his shackled hands against the bench he was sitting on, looking around the perimeters of his prison. Let them try and lock him away. He was Bullseye! They couldn't keep him locked up forever. And while they thought they had him caged, he was free in a way that they could never be. He had freed his mind.

Tight-asses like Nick Fury lived their pathetic, conservative little lives, following protocol and obeying rules. With their heads so far up their asses, they couldn't see the light. But Bullseye had seen the light. He did what he wanted to, what he loved more than anything else in the world. He had committed his life to art. The art of killing. And he even got paid for it.

Bullseye smiled again. If he wasn't living The American Dream, he didn't know who was.

* Cletus Cassiday sensed the imposing danger as Psylocke stormed into him as he hit the wall the symbiote engulfed him and he struck in spider form sticking to the wall with hi hands and feet. Carnage turned his head slightly and smiled a red toothy grin at Psylocke. *

" OH goody, the main couse has shown up. "

* Carnage launched a wall of symbiote spikes at Psylocke. *

Psylocke flips away from the shooting spikes and lands in front of Carnage

"You wouldn't want to hurt a cute gal like me?" Psylocke smiled."C'mon let's stop this silly fight and let's get to know each other more"

He wishes the heroes would realize that there was no need to do anything like saving people. Instead, he hoped, they would focus on getting rid of the radiation so he could put New york back in his upright position. Blood drips from Magneto's eyes and nose and he clenches his fist in agony.*

"Xavier, if anyone got to me and killed me right now, New York would die in an instant. My mutants and your humans would be dead. Can you send a message to your X-Men to come to Genosha, to my thorne room, and protect me? FOr a common cause, brother..."

*Magneto hopes the X-Men will get the message...*

Gambit sits back in his X seat and starts to read a magazine , he looks over at Rogue and waits to land in New York.

Bullseye paced back and forth in his holding cell, clasping his hands together anxiously. What was wrong with him? It wasn't one of his physical wounds. While he'd been tranqed, one of the SHIELD medical staff must have stitched up the cut in his neck. That was nice with him. So what was wrong with him? Then it came to him in a flash.

Bullseye siddenly collapsed to the floor, spasming ciolently and frothing at the mouth. His eyes were rolling up in his head, but he was aware of the door opening and an armed SHIELD agent coming in. The guard knelt down next to him, keeping his gun pointed at him.

The agent took his helmet off. He was young, inexperienced. He didn't know what to do when a psychotic criminal was about to die in front of him.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked Bullseye.

Bullseye didn't respond, instead making gurgling noises. The guard slapped him, getting his attention.

"I said what's wrong with you?" the guard repeated.

"My head! My head!" Bullseye screamed.

"Does it hurt?" asked the concerned guard.

Bullseye suddenly stopped spasming. He calmly smiled at the guard.

"Only when I laugh," said Bullseye, giving a wink.

Bullseye had peeled off one of his fingernails. Having lured the guard in close, he pinged it at the guard, skimming it across the guy's left eyeball. Bullseye took the keys for his shackles off of the screaming guard, then snatched his gun away, pointing it at him.

"Okay, officer. If you give me the access code to access the other cells, I won't shoot you. I promise."

"All cells have the password 31647," the guard whimperd, "Just don't shoot me, please."

Bullseye smiled, putting the gun down.

"Okay, I won't."

Instead, Bullseye snapped the guard's neck, killing him instantly. Phase one of his plan went surprisingly well. But how would he complete Phase two. He couldn't start running through the SHIELD corridors in his tights. He had to get a disguise. He quickly changed into the SHIELD guard's uniform, putting on the helmet. He picked up the gun and walked out of his cell, closing the door behind him.

Bullseye walked down the corridor of holding cells. All the other cells were empty, except one, which had a guard standing vigil by it. The SHIELD guard turned to Bullseye.

"So what did that psycho in there want?" the guard asked.

"A cheeseburger," replied Bullseye, kicking the guard in the kneecaps and taking him to the ground. With one well-placed swing of his gun into the side of the guard's neck, he had killed another obstacle.

Bullseye dragged the body out of the way and walked up to the door. There was a keypad. Bullseye typed in "31647". The red light above the keypad turned green, and the door opened. The prisoner inside looked up at Bullseye as he took off his helmet.

"What's up Doc?"

*Nick Fury's alarm goes off*

"Dammit, I want a lockdown on this helicarrier! Get this baby to post-atmospheric mode! Nobody's getting off this..."

*Nick Fury grabs his guns and equipment*

"Soldiers, we need some reinforcements to the Doctor's sector!"

OOC: Sorry for the delay (some of us have real life issues to deal with). But untill I can find the actuall post to list this to I'll go with this one.

At cap's request Photon quickly flys out of the avengers mansion to the heard ot the nuclear accent example. And quickly absorbs the radiation within herself.

Rubble, ash, dust, glass.. Hell you name it. All that was left from the power plant was ruins - torn, twisted chunks of metal and brick piled together like a never ending grave. But was that really all? Nuh uh uh..

A single arm, bulky, scraped, bruised and well covered in dust smashed it's way out from the surface of the catastrophy. It was Blade. The arm bent inward, pushing down against the mess in an effort to pull the rest of its buried body up for a well needed breath.

After a few moments of digging his way out, Blade simply slumped over, he was done. 3 broken ribs, cracked skull, ring and pinky fingers on his right hand shattered, and his left ankle snapped in two. Along with what had already taken its toll on Blade were countless scrapes, bruises, stab wounds and the like. The poor man looked like half of what he was, a living corpse.Blade's eyes rolled back into his head as he quickly died down into a deep slumber.....

When he woke up he was back at one of his many hideouts stationed all around New York, this one was lazily, but sturdily built underground in Queens. Thanks to Magneto's and Photon's help they managed to survive it all, but Blade was too tired to really tell where he was or what had just happened.

"Shh, sleep son, you need it.. And don't worry about yer syrum, I fed you it while you were unconsious.", said Whistler, as calm and gentle as a man like him could be.

Blade murmmured, he was half awake and just as alive. He quickly began to fall back to sleep.

Whistler came over and began checking out his injuries, calculating how long it'll take for him to cure them out on his own and whether or not he'd need to hepl him out in the regard, "Well..", he he whispered to himself, "You're doing pretty good for an ammature, most of your bone fractures healed on the way over here, and with the huge mess outside, there's a reason why it took so damn long to make it."

Blade fell back into unconsiousness, having another one of his nightmares while Whistler walked over to his work station to get Blade's gear ready...

*Inside the Vibranium protected Baxter building, Johnny notices that the radiation meters had settled.*

“Johnny stop being such a wuss, there is no time for that. Your, freaking, the Human Torch, everyone adores you go out there and kick butt. But I should play it safe.”

*Johnny runs inside Reed’s lab and grabs a personal force field modulator and clips it on his belt. He rushes to the garage to where many of the Fantastic Four transportation is located. He hops inside a Fantasti-car, and taps his four logo to call H.E.R.B.I.E.*

“Hey buddy, could you raise the Vibranium shield and garage door please?”

*Just before the doors open, he activates his personal force shield. When the doors open, his flies out, and is shock at the devastation he is witnessing.*

[Doc Destruction]

"I been on you like white on rice, punk. I guess we see how good you really are, finally."

Bullseye whips around to see Wolverine standing in front of him. *SNIKT* Out come the claws. Logan half-crouches...preparing for the first strike.

'Bang , Bang' , X-23 lands on the hard mettalic floor behind Wolverine , though still hidden from view. She watched the developement holding back.

Ock pulled Bullseye back with a tentacle and shot out another tentacle slamming Wolverine into the wall."Didn't think I had repaired my tentacles did you,you mutant vermin" Ock smirked

Doc Ock turned and looked at Bullseye who was dressed in the guards uniform.Ock instantly realised what he had done.And how he had escaped.But what Ock was unclear of was why Bullseye had come to him.

"You've either come to my cell for one of two things.You were either coming to kill me,or coming to set me free and take me up on that little offer I proposed.So which is it Bullseye?"

Eddie Brock had slept through the radiation bath. He was far enough away from the blast that he didn't feel it in his slumber. Refreshed, He looks out the window. Chaos. The symbiote quickly engulfs him as he swings out to find the cause of it...

Afterward after Photon absorbed the radiation Photon decends and finds a place to sit. Looking at ground zero and says to herself "What a night this has been". Then after a brief rest takes flight to help aid those in danger that are caught in its' aftermath.

"My Mother was in the middle of an important heart operation, something mysterious protected us from the blast, but the blast interrupted the procedure. NOW MY MOTHER IS GONE! SHE"S THE ONLY THING I HAD, NOW I"M NOTHING!"

Johnny embraces the Hispanic girl, and this time he could not hold his tears.

X23 Flies out of the darkness and launches her self towards Wolverine , She grabs him and ducks out of the room before being noticed. As Doctor Octopus was looking the other way she leaped back so quickly into the room , rage took over and X23 jumped at Ock. She shoved her claws right into his back and let out a roar. Then immediatly jumped straight back a safe distance from attack.
