A glorified screwdriver, and words. Don't forget those. After all, he did bring down all Harriet Jones with only 6 words. i think that was a little unbelievable. A criminal investigation wasn't enough to get Blair forced out, i doubt if Harriet would have been brought down by "don't you think she looks tired"!

Paul O'Grady to appear in 'Doctor Who'
Wednesday, February 20 2008, 10:28 GMT
By Simon Reynolds (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a89758/paul-ogrady-to-appear-in-doctor-who.html#)
http://images.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/library/160x120_c4_paulogrady01.jpg
Paul O'Grady will guest star in the series four finale of Doctor Who, reports The Sun.
The TV presenter will play himself discussing "strange goings-on" during his chatshow as David Tennant's Doctor departs on a mission.
A BBC source revealed that O'Grady had been wanting to appear on the show for some time and his role would be a little more "sinister" than people are used to.
"Paul has been desperate to be on the show for ages and asked if he could be a guest star," revealed the BBC insider.
"Fortunately Who creator Russell T Davies is a big fan of his too, and jumped at the chance.
"We’ve had to wait until his chatshow is filming again so we can shoot him on the set.
"It will be the usual camp Paul - just maybe a bit more sinister."
Stars including Kylie Minogue (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a81783/kylie-treats-doctor-who-co-stars.html), Peter Kay (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a30144/peter-kay-for-doctor-who-role.html) and Anthony Head have previously appeared in guest roles in the cult series.
I'm not sure what to think.

Well I was a bit wrong.
Torchwood is involed with the government.
Jack reformed it after the Dalek/Cybermen DR WHO episode.
I have no idea where the money or resources really comes from and I guess it's just never exlpained.

Well do you remember the episode with the irl from sugar rush, Tosh hacked the system and put money on credit cards for them, I assume that's how they get payed, or hey could just be publicly funded, we could assume they get money from that assigned to the special forces.

Oh. Right.
Still, I'm hoping that was the Rani, and not just Lucy Saxon carrying out some last hypnotic suggestion.
Or what if the Lucy Saxon is the Rani, in hiding with her chameleon arc. I mean it has always bothered me how the Master talked her into coming along for the ride (Without hypnosis). She's so under-developed you have no idea why she sides with the Master to begin with!......

I just figured the Master dazzled her with his magic box-shaped time machine and wacky alien technology, took her to the end of the universe, and slowly drove her insane by forcing her to watch entropy reduce all the stars and planets into nothingness.
Also, Lucy had a father that the Master had met. She didn't have imaginary relatives like John Smith, and she wasn't an orphan like Professor Yana.

Season 4 has wrapped up filming
Potential Spoiler
Rain is falling. the Doctor, on the porch, looks up at it.
DOCTOR: Get a lot of this. Atmospheric disruption.
Rain stops.
DOCTOR: Bye, Wilfred.
The Doctor moves off. WILF calls out.
WILF: What about you? All those friends of yours....who have you got?...... Next time, at night, when the stars come out....I'll look up and I'll think of you....out there on your own...on her behalf....
The DOCTOR turns, walks sadly across the road, gets out key, opens TARDIS, goes inside. Disappointingly, it doesn't disappear with a wheezing, groaning sound - but David Tennant comes out and goes back to the house.
This scene is rehearsed/recorded a couple of times and the last time I clearly heard the Doctor shout "You can never tell her!" quite loudly just before Wilf's long line. Make of it what you will; at first it sounded as if Donna has died but the last line seems to suggest she's lost her memory. It certainly seemed like they were filming the very last scene of the fourth series.

Wait-- what? Steven Moffat? When did he write something misogynistic in a Who episode?
it was in a magazine where he said that in life women were only after a husband and it was natural. That from childhood they play house and never grow out of it whereas boys don't and can live by themselves far better. I fear that if he becomes head writer these beliefs will show more in the doctor/companion relationship.

Are you sure he was saying it was natural, or that childhood habits make men & women that way? Because I believe encouraging little girls to play house does have an effect on how they live their adult lives. Girl toys always consist of doll houses, ovens, Barbies with quaint jobs and boyfriends (the closest a Barbie's ever become to being a doctor, to my memory, was being a vet). In a way, it conditions little girls to grow up to become homemakers and wives. Meanwhile, little boys have firetrucks and sports equipment, and don't grow up with a mindset to settle down.
It's not that it's ingrained in our DNA. It's just the way men & women are brought up.
Thing is, from what I've experienced of Moffat's writing, he doesn't wirte all of his female characters like that. On Coupling, only Sally is obsessed with getting married, with Susan more concerned with Steve getting a grip on life, and Jane flirting with everything in sight.

WWE News: Jeff Hardy's house in Cameron, N.C. burns to the ground last night
By Wade Keller, Torch editor Mar 15, 2008 - 12:54:29 PM
Jeff Hardy's house in Cameron, N.C. burned to the ground last night, destroying all he owned, according to an email received from a source in North Carolina, and since reported by the Wrestling Observer. PWTorch has confirmed that Hardy's home phone number goes directly to voice mail rather than ringing first.
The email we received this morning says Hardy and his girlfriend were not home when it happened, but their pet dog did die in the fire and no cause has been determined by fire officials yet.
Hardy lived in a double-wide trailer that he used as a palette for his art inside and out.

it seemed OK...I am relatively new to the show. The only experience I had with Doctor Who were the reruns that PBS aired when I was very young and the TV movie that aired in the nineties....I've seen a few episodes with Eccleston and a few of the Tennant run....I just saw "Utopia" last night and I thought it was really good. Sir Derek Jacobi is awesome...

I thought the Dalek 2-parter was the lowest point in season/series 3. And that's saying something, since "42" was the only episode where I really didn't like Martha.

Ah. I just downloaded the torrents when they aired in the UK, and bought the DVDs when they were available in the US.

It was quite disappointing for being a historically themed episode. Didn't help that most of the background characters were nothing but annoying.

I'm rarely bothered by British actors trying to pull off American accents, but I rolled my eyes throughout the entire episode.

Rose seemed ok to me, a little needy at times, like she was on the verge of tears all the time. I like Jack though, he is my favorite so far.
