Robot Chicken premieres tonight on Cartoon Network.
I believe it is produced and voiced by Seth Green and is done in stop motion featuring action figures. Basically, it just disects pop culture. I'm definitely interested and will be tuning in tonight at 11:30 for the premiere. Anyone else with me?

The transformers PSA bit had me in stitches, and to continue that with the Human Torch, (Prime: "WHAT DID I JUST SAY?") was hilarious.
The bloopers segment, the whole screen test bit with Keanu Reeves. I don't know why, but his chuckle at the end of his dialogue was funny. And the whole pokemon bit in that was surprising, and hysterical.
The one-sided fights were also great.
I can't wait to see what happens next week.

I may be the only one, but I think 15 minutes was just enough for the episode. Had it gone for a full 30, it would definitely be on the same horrible level as Super Milk Chan. The premiere episode was starting to cut it close, though. Robot Chicken did have it's moments where it was funny, but it had more non-funny moments than it did funny.
I'll give it another few episodes before I decide whether I will continue watching or not.

Really. It's one of those shows that strikes as trying too hard to be funny at times. I mean, I laughed probably once total during the Transformers thing, three or four during the bloopers, and twice between the beginning and Transformers.
It's like I said, I never give up on a show after one episode. Often these days, pilot episodes tend to suck more than the second or third episodes. So I'm willing to give it another few episodes.

Well, apparantly a lot of other people liked it, so I suppose it's a matter of taste and opinion. Though, if you're being so anal as to count exactly whena nd how many times you laughed, perhaps you're thinking too hard.

It is a matter of taste and opinion. That's exactly why I've been so honest about my thoughts on Robot Chicken. And I suppose if being specific in my criticism and thoughts, then mayhaps I am thinking too hard.
I'm not here trying to steer people away from watching this show. I even have faith that it may get better with a few episodes, but just am not feeling it after seeing the pilot episode. As mentioned already, pilot episodes are usually far worse than the second or third episodes.

i dunno, i was expecting more funny and less 'wtf'. the voltron thing was funny for a little while. the nature segments were pretty funny, but as i said, it was more "wtf" then funny. um, pretty much all "wtf-ness" in the robo-disney vs. fidel segment this episode definitely got what it was going for though, shock factor, and plenty of it. but if you were looking for ten minutes of insanity, then you went to the right place. i loved the extremely short "Do not enter/ Use other door" bit. also enjoyed the Lemmings: Natures Retard special

[adultswim] is making a killing off of 15 minute randomness (read Aqua Teens, SeaLab), but I don't think their run of good luck will last too long past this show. Don't get me wrong, I like it, and I like randomness, but it seems to me that when [as]run their bumps reporting their viewership numbers, the top shows are always Family Guy and Futurama; shows with a quasi-stream of concious comedy.
And for what it's worth, I thought that the Kennedy assassination bit was funny as hell.

Top show on the weekdays has been Futurama for a long while. Family Guy has fallen down a bit. Saturday's top show is usually Fullmetal Alchemist.

Shadow Crawler, I've gotta disagree with you about the latest Sealabs. I think the show's gotten funnier since Shanks replaced Murphy (which isn't to say I don't feel bad about what happened to Goz :( ) I thought the show's low point was the second season. The tooth fairy skit was fun, but the episode as a whole felt poorly paced. I loved the car pool skit, but even though it had two hillarious skits, I felt like the episode itself was bland when the credits came on. The show needs to work on segueing from one skit to the next without losing energy because something is being lost in the sequencing.

Did you see what film they made? Go back to the link and look for the films they made in 1987!!! You will see what I mean by monsters! They made a film worse than Batman & Robin!!! REPEAT WORSE THAN BATMAN & ROBIN!!!
Dude, it's not their fault the budget for Superman: Quest for Peace was cut from 36 million to 17 million. It's just one ****ing movie. Damn.

Superman IV is evil and "Sydeny J. Furie is history's greatest monster!" Plus they added Nuclear Man, Lex Luthor's nephew(worse than Otis), Mariel Hemmingway was able to breath in space without a helmet or a space suit, the effects were bad, the dialouge was beyond terrible, etc!

It's just a movie, one movie. One movie doesn't make a few people ''monsters''.

Well after Batman & Robin was released, Joel Schumacher was dubbed history's greatest monster! So one movie can make a few people monsters. Besides Sydeny J. Furie has also made some other bad movies like Iron Egals II-IV! So to me Sydney J. Furie is HISTORY'S GREATESET MONSTER!!!

Anyone else watch this?
I just got the first season on dvd....it's basically Toyfare's twisted mego theatre on a larger, animated scale. It's really quite good. Not all of the sketches hit the mark but for the most part it's really good.
Highlights for me include:

There were three old bits, Bush, the Emperor's phone call and Luke and Vader at the end of Empire.
The only thing that disappointed me about the episode was no Lando, I'm sure they could've done a great Lando skit.

Favourite one of the special.
It's a tie between that one and the officer's training on the Death Star. Vader thinks he can use the force to choke us, it doesn't work, but we make him think it does, better that than him using his lightsaber. Jar-Jar annoying Vader was pretty cool too.
It was classic. I thought most of them were funny. I'm also a big Star Wars fan so I guess you can expect that from me.
One of my favorite Robot Chicken moments was the when Gokku(sp?) and Santa teamed up to take down the the Nutcracker, Drummer Boy and Fake Santa/Frosty. And when the Nutcracker kicks Gohan in the nuts and he says "Oh my Dragonballs."
I must of been laughing for a good 3 minutes, I saw it again last night and again couldn't stop laughing even though I was expecting it.
