How many comics do you have?

I own 199. My collection consists of mostly Punisher comics. I would tell you other comics and what issues but I'm not at my house so...just post what you have for now.

I've got between 2,000 and 3,000.

I don't doubt that 100,000 comics would be too difficult to come by. Once you start buying entire lots of comics to get that one issue you want, they start adding up quickly. I know some people who shell out a couple grand to buy 2 or 3 longboxes of comics because they're missing a few issues that are included in them. Usually, they sell off the books they don't want, but some guys build massive collections doing that.

Now I did see and it looked very well organised. I don't know how mine will be stored as I am waiting for my appartment to be furnished. Once I see how that is done, then I can see how I do, but I have a feeling boxes are a must :D

let me ask you something.did you know everything about comics from birth or did you start out with a friends comic here and buying the odd one there.looking up on the internet that kind of thing?if you did then you probs started young im in that situation but starting at 21.i come here to learn more.and i just know who nightwing is i dont know how.its like how do people know who batman and superman are?they just do.ive learnt alot more since being in the dtl and since being with my wife.(i read her brothers comics etc).just cos i aint a guru of knowledge doesnt mean im any less entitled to be here than you.

I dont collect manga...it has no color and you know whats going to happen most of the time if you watch the show. Though there are some suprises in the manga I rather watch the show. Though I do like the Trigun comics.

Issues are old, got alot of late 80's hulk, iron man and excalibur, only collect trades now, started like 3 years ago, with some sporadic hard backs here and there.

And they're packed tight, and there's about 300 per box, because when I started out, I was putting exactly 300 issues in a box.

Most people who have a room for comics do that method,comics in boxes,in a shelf.My situation is the same,except i dont sleep in it.Its just a room for comics,i have 4 shelfs at each of the walls except for the wall with the door you enter in.

The shelfs extend up nearly to the celing,with comics in boxes.Comics i rarely read,or for storage go on top.With comics i read more reagularly near the bottom,i have some figures,but not much.
