Take Talia, Elektra or Witchblad for example. Does anyone else get turned on by these illustrated characters or do i need to see a phsyciatrist?

consider they are fictional characters, yes you need to see a shrink :p

If you're 15 years old or younger, no, you do not need to see a shrink.

Otherwise, ditto Morg.

Damn, i'm 19yrs old, guess i better give Dr. Chong a call.

Why does being 15 or younger make one less perverted though?

So.....if Michael Turner & Jeph Loeb were to make a 'The adventures of Monica Bellucci' comic book, i'd be free to get an erection?

That's a good point from the King of Pop, actually. If realistic depictions of gore can give some people a really visceral reaction, why can't realistic depictions of women turn guys on?

Of course AH du…I wish I had those Chaos lady death comics and Jim Balents’s Tarot when I was a kid
That’d be too much ...and to think that I used to be turned on by the scarlet witch, Jocasta and Dracula’s daughter (jeez I forgot what her name was ...Lilith, perhaps)...anyways these are nothing compare to lady death skimpy lingerie and Jim balent’s boldness (“for a typical American comic book”)
Just to name a few characters that y’all probably know
But I have way more than this in my book Such as
Lucifera , Maghella , Biancaneve (conte malicieux) and Zara etc … these are comics I had and still have ever since I was a 12 years kid, you can go and check them on Google image search to see what I’m talking about

But it odd though, I was never really turned on by Vampirella, perhaps the artists didn't draw her curvy enough or I just don’t like her bathing suit costume from the 60’s

Anyway I had the best time of my life with these comics when was a kid
I could buy all the comics I wanted from a huge 7 stories library , but it caught fire over a decade ago and I had miss the place for some time …,but now it over but I remembered that I had The BEST time of my life .

It’s a lack of testosterone triggering the gray matter inside of your head or imagination I guess LOL...

Seriously I think it's a great gift to take simple images and give it life inside your imagination or dream.
Few people possesses such a great gift and if you have it you must cherish it
Because only human being were granted the abilities to turn their imagination into realities and without this process they’d be no great invention ,no book and certainly no art whatsoever .

You'd think all of the "...Just Because" threads would be more than enough to answer the thread's question.

But yeah, I'll admit that some characters are quite nice to look at (depending on who's the artist).

Sometimes, I hear that the "just becuase" threads are good, too.

You'd think all of the "...Just Because" threads would be more than enough to answer the thread's question. When I suggested this, I was told that it was actually because I get turned on by such pictures, and I'm insecure and self-repressive. Somewhere amid the pop psych mumbling, I believe that the guy was weakly trying to defend his own deviance.

Wait are you suggesting there are people, (besides gay men,) that aren't aroused by female comic book characters? Whoa that blows my mind. Seriously though, I was crushing on Gwen Stacy, Barbara Gordon I would so marry in a heartbeat, (or get a civil union with or whatever,) Selina Kyle, Electra, the Black Widow, and the Scarlet Witch are all hot as hell.

They're designed to be arousin', so it happens. Aside from th' fact she reminds me of my ex-fiance, that's probably the reason I still buy Red Sonja.

not particularly,

saying this, i always felt ultimate gwen stacy was very alluring, if i was to go out with a comic book character, it would be her (of course we would be around the same age, the age gap at the moment is slightly worrying).

but the reason is definitely not due to her costumes, she's never worn anything remotely revealing.

besides, i'm not a breast man and that seems to be the main emphasis on a lot of comic book female characters.

Gwen Stacy is totally datable in either universe. Ya know, BEFORE she died.

You forget that the characters, while realistic looking are still cartoons. Get over that little physiological hurdle.
