It happens when you have a hyperactive 3-year-old who refuses to comply with bedtime on a school night...

I got them from my local collector's item store. But the store I went did not have another lightsaber - Luke Skywalker's. Lo and behold, I found it on e-bay for US$25 (excluding s&h). I bought it and it has yet to arrive at my doorstep.
If you're interested, check it out here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=154&item=7954076605&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW). When I placed my order several days ago, they had 39 left. Now, they only have 27 left, so hurry up!

They're called "Master Replica .45". They're so called because they are exactly 45% the size of the real deal. Each comes with an officially sealed Certificate of Authenticity. They're the exact replica of the props used in the movies, right down to every minutest detail.
I never understood why Dooku's lightsaber is curved.
some guys just have it curved, that's the way it is
and Mace Windu's light saber looks unwieldy and uncomfortable

I agree with you on your assessment of Windu's saber. In fact, of the five, I think the most comfortable to handle would probably be Dooku's.

sometimes that happens when you put to much pressure on them while you're, um.... using them.

it's actually due to the way you tuck it in your trousers

I never understood why Dooku's lightsaber is curved.
it's based on an Arabian rapier... supposed to give it an "old school" feel to it since Dooku is an old school kind of guy.

Seriously, I was thinking about getting them. I have the full scale vader lightsaber. I felt it was overkill with the amount of stuff I had, but maybe for my office.

Force FX sabers are the best! Die-cast full scale master replicas! But they cost heckuvalot!! If your dad owns a reality show and goes "You're fired!" every week, then go for the Force FX. Money well spent, I tell ya.

Oh, yes. I quite agree with you. Unfortunately, they don't make sabers for none mainstream characters. Otherwise, I'd hunt for every last saber there ever was from Ventress to Fisto!
Heck, they don't even make .45 scale replica of Yoda's lightsaber. :(
CConn

At least they're not as costly as the direct replicas...those are unbelievably expensive...

Then it is you I should be envying. No amount of .45 replicas can ever equal the immense coolness of owning a full scale one. Over here where I'm at, a full scale Force FX lightsaber is about US$200!!

The only ones that really matter are Obi-Wan's, Luke's, and Vader's.
The rest are just part of the "extended universe" as far as I'm concerned. ;)
And doesn't this belong in the "Products" forum, Mr. Danger Mod? :D

Let's just put it this way: I don't hate them. :)

Thanks, guys. They're my pride and joy, right after my daughter. :)
I'm want 3 of the scaled replicas. Han, Fett and Stormtrooper Guns/Rifles.
For the miniature scaled ones, only Han's and Stormtrooper's are being made. And you can still order them from www.masterreplicas.com.

What erz said.
Quinlan Vos' is the exact replica of Qui-Gon Jinn's. He made it exactly like that of his former Master's out of respect and admiration. But, yeah, it would be cool. Perhaps in time, I guess.
And doesn't this belong in the "Products" forum, Mr. Danger Mod?
I'm sorry. My bad. Could you provide the link to the appropriate forum, please? :)

I have that. You may still acquire it from a third party. But be prepared to sell your first-born for it. ;)
