Finally DONE!
The jacket arrived and it's awesome...better than I could have expected!!! :D
The only problem is they made it a size 46 and I only wear a 42...so this one will eventually have to find a new home. Once I get a guy big enough to fit it properly I'll get more pics.
I'll be making a new one in my size once I complete all the size charts necessary to make this in different sizes.

Here's my idea for the gloves/gauntlets...all you need is a cool glove and the rest of the sleeve doubles as the full superhero type gauntlet..

i would look twice alright.. and then call the police for some nut case on a bike...
not to mention the cape would be dangerous... for it could get caught in the tires

I remember your old thead where you have the ongoin process for this.
I must say it rocks and all the hard work paid off man. Score one for the Canadians.
I personally don't like the back, but it looks good, just me I suppose.
Anyway Great job man, you should be proud.

That would make an awesome motorcycle jacket for a crotch rocket rider.

although it looks really cool and safe in the movies and tv shows, wearing a cape while riding a motorcycle is too risky.

As for color, you went for a comics theme. The movie had more of an onyx type shade to it, a real dark grey that was barely not black.
It does look amazing, though. You wouldn't happen to be wearing that to a convention, would you? Wizard World chicago is coming up...

David,
Are your mutant leather jackets still available? I checked out your site but it doesn't look like you have them on offer even though they are listed. . .

Just my take on the wearing a cape while riding a bike - NOT a good idea. I knew a guy, one Halloween while wearing a "ghost" costume (i.e. a big white sheet) decided to take a ride on his motorcycle. The bottom of his costume got caught in the chain which caused him to crash, and he lost his leg because of it. A cape would be just as dangerous.
