Wonder Woman indicates that she'll be right back. She walks to her private chambers and pulls out an elaborate engraved case. She opens it and reveals a shining sword. She picks it up and returns to the table.

"This mission just took on a new meaning for me. We have to do something. The sword of my mother will give me the edge I'll need to finish my task."

The Parasite looks out the window of LexCorps Towers and notices Lex wandering through the area.
Suddenly Luthor's assistant comes in through the door.

"Mr. Luthor, I need your signa- AHHH!!"

Rudy jumps the assistant and leaves thr body as a pile of ash. He then transforms into the assistant's form and goes to the ground floor of the building to see Lex walking in the street.

*Hal sees John leaving*

*Hal has been in dire need of a job for some time now, and if he was ever going to get back to Earth, he would need a job. he sighed to himself and started speaking...*

"Mr. Lex Luthor, this is Green Lantern Hal Jordan, calling from the planet Oa. I have heard that you are in need of a powered bodyguard. Would you like to see my resume?"

IC: Rudy curiously walks up to Lex on the sidewalk.

"Lex?"

Rudy grabs Lex's arm and drains just enough to get some knowledge from his mind. It...startles him. Something's really wrong. He decides to dig a little deeper into Luthor's mind. Rudy comes across fogged memories that had obviously been carefully hidden from Lex himself.

"Faust...Jordan...Lex...GAAH!"

Rudy was taken aback as he uncovered what had been done to Luthor.
By this point, onlookers are horrified as they see energy being absorbed from Lex into the other man. The Parasite ignores the bystanders.

"Lex! You're mind has been violated. You have to come with me!"

45 minutes later CB produces for Zoom a pair of ULTIMATE Yu-Gi-Oh wrist mounted card shooters incorporating Sinestro's wrist replicator's.

"Here yeh go Zoom, instantly replicated razor-edged death cards...they'll replicate at 1,000 per hour under normal conditions."

"As far as me own weaponry goes, I think I'll stick to buildin' me own," Digger thinks to himself.

OOC: Jeez, what's this loon gonna do with 1,000 razor cards per wrist per hour. I'm just glad the heroes here rarely post so's we c'n do what we damn well please. (Was that last comment a challenge? YES!!!!! heh)

*Zoom decides to go test out his new equipment. He ports out into the closest city and proceeds to kill everyone in the same fashion as before, by embedding his own business cards within civilian heads. As Zoom finishes up with the last citizen, he stops by a game store."

To clerk, "Give me an xbox controller and I'll spare your life."

The clerk, scared s*itless at the site of his customers dropping like flies, hands him an xbox controller, a ps2, multitap, controllers, and random games.

As Zoom is about to exit the store, the clerk drops dead, Zoom looks back, "...not."

*He then returns to base.*

"Rudy~, I'm home, and look what Santa brought."

Whatever city, doesn't matter, I'll leave it up with future posters to finish that up. Oh yea, the corpses have no outter markings on them. So everything just kinda loox like they all just dropped dead spontatneously. Think ghost town, except with corpses.

Lex in obvious pain begins screaming, "AHHHHHH! What do you mean? AHHHHH!"...flashes of what had happened were like a dream. He felt as though he was being mind-wiped again. Only this time pain was a key factor as well...as Lex felt as though his mind was tearing itself apart. He imagined this is what Superman felt like when he was exposed to kryptonite.

Lex began to scream, "MAKE THE PAIN STOP! OH LORD! MAKE IT STOP! AHHHHH!"

Lex finally collapses to the ground in an unconscious qivering mass.

"This is gonna hurt, but I suppose I owe you for getting me in the Society."

Rudy picks up Luthor, draining him at the same time, trying to siphon off some of the pain in his mind.

"YAAAAAHHH!!"

Becasue of the intense mental anguish, Rudy loses control of his form and reverts back into his regular purple self. People watching recognize him and run for their lives as the huge purple monster roars in pain. Parasite grits his teeth through the pain and activates his smart portal. He carries Lex through it into the IS Base.
Once inside the base, Rudy lays Lex down on the couch and lets go of him. The blinding pain comes to a halt. Rudy stumbles backwards and sits on the floor to catch his breath.

"Wow. That was intense."

Rudy passes out from exhaustion.

:Tired of waiting for a response Wally takes off heading to each loaction where he may find his comrades:

*Zoom wakes up and goes to the main room to see if Rudy has seen the xbox controllers, instead he is met by Lex Luthor on the couch, and Rudy passed out on the floor. Zoom then takes them both over to the medical bay, (Which I assume we have), and proceeds to message each member about their arrival*

The Riddler sat up in his bed. Damn, he thought, that was a longer nap than I wanted to take. He stood, stretched for a moment, and walked out of the room, trying to stifle a yawn. "I'm going to Gotham to--", he started to say before Zoom's message got to him. Nigma shrugged, and thought, Why should I care?, before strolling casually to the medical bay. He sees Zoom there standing over the two unmoving forms of Parasite and Luthor, "Hey, Hunter," Nigma says, folding his arms and leaning against the door frame, "what'd I miss?" Nigma smirked, as if laughing at a private joke.

"Wally, stay where you are, I'm sending one of the Batboats to your present location, it'll take you to the new Watchtower."

*Zoom watches their current status, and the med bay informs Zoom and Nigma that a tracer has been found within Luthor's shoulder.*

"That can't be good. Can you destroy it" Zolomon asks.

The computer responds, "Affirmative"

"Then do so."

*A droid then comes with anesthesia and drugs the already unconsious Luthor. It proceeds to cut open his shoulder and reveal the tracker. Zoom, upon seeing it, does a Matrix-esque style removal of the tracker using his hand.*

"A bit unsafe, but the sooner it's gone, the better. Droid, patch him up."

*Zoom tosses the tracker into the air, whips out a card, and in a blink of an eye, the tracker is in two. Another droid comes and disposes of the remains.*

*Zolomon leaves and returns with his xbox controller and ps2 and accessories and sets them by Rudy's bedside.*

"This should make him happy when he wakes up. Let's just hope he isn't feeling hungry."

Luthor slowly begins to stir and looks around. He begins to trimble and slowly says, "I have been here before...I can't quite place everything...I...I. I don't think I am in Metropolis anymore."

Martian Manhunter: I'm glad you returned, Oliver. I found Martian life out there and I need to meet it. Look after the League while I'm gone.
Green Arrow: No problem, Marvin.

"I have been notified about the tracer, Zoom, thank you for utilizing the IS tech, you learn fast. I have set the alert systems to red. We all must prepare, Hal will be coming. Oh Mr. Nigma, I advise you to locate the weapons room, and gear up."

"That man was hurt horribly. I have to end this. Now."

*Supergirl logs onto one of the Watchtower's computers and researches Zoom. After sorting through a lot of information, she finds the most current information. It includes some of the last places he was spotted.*

"Time to pull out that swimsuit."

*Supergirl flies with the greatest speed she can and hovers just east of the Phillipines, over the water. She plunges into the deep sea, looking, searching. She soon comes across a structure.*

The Parasite wakes up and blinks several times as the room's sudden light startles him. He looks at Luthor beside him.

"Lex, I know what happened to you. The Green Lantern known as Hal Jordan had Felix Faust give you a mindwipe. They made you into a whole new person."

Rudy looks around at everyone in the medical bay. They all look worried. Sinestro looks like he's about to tell Rudy what's happened, but Rudy cuts him off.

"Save it. Just gimme your hand. I'll only drain enough to get the info."

Sinestro extends his arm to Parasite who mearly touches it with his index finger. A small energy charge flows from Sinestro to Rudy, then stops as Rudy puts his arm back at his side.

"Tracer, huh? Well I guess we all might want to get ready for a fight."

Rudy spots Riddler off to the side.

"Nigma, no offense, but you might want to get out of here and go set up what you need for your plan later."

OOC: Sorry for the bunnying, Huy. Hope you don't mind.

Nigma found the Armory without much trouble, and he marvelled at the level of technology of some of the devices there. Definitely alien tech, he thought, and ripe for the taking. "But," he said aloud, "I should leave some for my newfound allies." He began seaching for something that would suit him, and after a minute or so, he found something, a rather large alien rifle. Nigma smiled, but after a moment, he decided this gun wasn't for him. He placed it back on it's shelf. He'll have to find something more his style.

Computer, "It creates its own field of oxygen, so the wearer is capable of breathing in any environment. There is a time limit of 24 hours. It automatically refuels by taking the oxygen from the environment."

Zoom, "Right, so it's similar to my card holders. This will come in handy. Nigma, you might want this too."

*Zoom tosses Nigma a belt, and then places it on his own waist. The belt automatically resizes to his size. He then continues his search for useful equipment.*

Rudy sees Lex scared out of his mind, barely listening to Rudy at all. Annoyed, the Parasite bares his fangs at Lex and literally roars the words,

"NOW!"

"I've brought some equipment I thought would be useful for us all."

"The belts create a field of oxygen, so the wearer is always able to breathe. So in case this base should be destroyed, and we manage to survive the amounts of water pressure on our bodies, we will still be able to breathe."

OOC: I think the bracelet things are a bit too much. Do we really need pseudo-flight capabilities? I plan on getting ahold of someone who can fly sooner or later, Lex can always wear his battlesuit if he wants, which will enable him to fly, Sinestro's got his ring, and Zoom isn't really in any desperate need of flight, is he?

*Supergirl flies with the greatest speed she can and hovers just east of the Phillipines, over the water. She plunges into the deep sea, looking, searching. She soon comes across a structure.*

OOC:Umm if you flew with your greatest speed just ABOVE the water, you would have created HUGE tsunamis that would have caused massive destruction in ALL directions once they hit the shores of Africa, The States, Mexico, South America etc.

But if you flew in the air you also would have caused some effects, but i am not sure what kind exactly.

This is why flash only runs around 300mph and beyond that he vibrates as not to cause any destruction. :D

Watching it instantly close behind him he quickly flys back to earth were he modifies the emeral forcefield around him to be nearly frictionless to allow easly atmosphere and underwater travel as he heads back to JL's base. Sending a mential message to Martian Manhunter as he does.

"J'ohn. John here. I'm just returned from OA and will be ariving at the watchtower in a few. Requesting a privat talk with you as soon as I arrive. John out"

With the now frictioness emerald field around him protecting him from the elements a worried John increase his speed as he makes his way to the JL's new undewater base.

IC: Digger awakens and checks to make sure his loot is still there, pleasantly surprised to find none of it missing. He then flips on CNN:
"...and word has it that the Justice League is gathering in full force to find the whereabouts of Zoom and Captain Boomerang after the two villains laid waste to Gateway City..."

"Wha...??!!!," exclaims Digger, spitting his morning beer all over the place. " I had NOTHING to do with destroying that city!!!"

With a quick acceptance, Digger ventures out to see the whole gang gearing up for a confrontation, so he follows suit and gets armed and straps on an "environmental" belt like the others.

"We seem to be very popular gents...so who's coming to tan our hides?" Digger asks.

He begins to put the suit on and smiles if only for a moment I used to put this suit on and think of all the ways I'd make Superman suffer...now...I don't know what to think.

He finishes suiting up and looks around and begins mumbling, "When will my nightmare end."

I land in Luthor's office. I go to the desk and start looking for some documents that might hold something to use. I notice the phone. 'Worth I shot,' I think. I start looking at the caller ID for suspicious calls.

The numbers are the usual numbers you might expect from a business CEO: stockbrokers, bankers, and the like--except one. The name is an "Restricted" and featured a number foreign to other areas. Sounds like a lead.

"Watchtower," I ask over my comm, "I have a suspicious phone number on Luthor's phone, see if you can trace it's origins." I give them the number and hope that I have something that will take down the Injustice Society once and for all.

Luthor looks at himself in his suit and he feels like he is seeing someone who could be his friend, but he is also terrified at what he sees.

He leaves the IS base and makes it back to Metroplois. He lands in a back-alley behind Lex-corp and enters through a back-dock door and stores his suit in the R & D storage unit. He walks back out to the back-alley and rummages through a near-by dumpster grabbing clothes that were thrown away. Now looking like a homeless man Lex begins to wander the streets of Metropols.

The Riddler sat in a hard wooden chair in a dank warehouse on the docks. His hired thugs, every last one having the mentality of a 15 year old, were loading five oil drums (which weren't filled with oil) into the back of a pickup truck. He was polishing the barrel of a fancy silver revolver, it was designed specially for him, with a stylized "?" engraved in the handle. One of his men came over to him and tapped him lightly on the shoulder, "Boss, we got da drums loaded on da truck."
Nigma turned, "Good, we're ready to go. Get in the van with the rest of the morons, I'll drive the pickup. I can't trust my cargo with knuckleheads like you."
"Of course, boss."

Nigma smiled, holstering his revolver and grabbing the Neural Impactor, "Metropolis, he I come."

Digger sits comfortably on a sofa, watching the news and doing a mental inventory of his armaments.

'Well, I feel a bit over-dressed...but when in Rome...' he thinks to himself. 'Mebbe that bank job I was planning wasn't such a bad deal after all...I could have missed out on Gateway and not been tied into its destruction by the media...wouldn't have an Amazonian Goddess looking for me head on a plate...then again...it has been fun.'

Sighing, he tried to turn it off, but to no avail, the radio in the stolen pickup was broken and he was forced to endure the "Pop Princess's" "song". He grabbed a pen and paper from the glove compartment, and scribbled a note to himself.

I stop near one of the alleyways and check the vacinity of the voice. I notice where the sound came from: a pickup truck with a VERY familar face currently writing something (some sort of diobolical plot, no doubt).

I take out my grabbling hook and go to the nearest building. I jump down right on the car windshield and see him wetting his green tuxedo. Then, in my REALLY gravelly voice (commonly used to REALLY scare the bejesus out of the criminals):

"Odd, I thought you would be more into the Backstreet Boys."

Luthor crosses the street and walks into the building and hears a man speaking. He says, "Ladies & Gentlemen it is all up to you. You choose who and what you will be....you can make the choice. The Smithington system of believing in yourself can lead you away from doubt and fear. Embrace my system it will grant you peace and give you the drive to make all your dreams come true...and all the voices within you will cease and you will be whole."

Luthor goes to the back where they are selling copies of the Smithington System in paperback. Luthor still having cash on him buys a copy and begins to read it.

Soon he is calm and focused and says, "I feel like me again. I don't hear the voices screaming at me anymore...I am Lex Luthor I am my own person and I can do anything I put my mind to."

He smiles and looks at the Lexcorp towers and says, "I am ready to come home once again and make a difference."

He walks back to the Lexcorp towers. When he sees Green Lantern floating in front of him he hears Lantern say that he is here to take him home.

Luthor repsonds, "Thank you, but I think I can get there from here...thank you again though." As Luthor continues walking back to the towers he says, "You're Green Lantern...I've seen newsfootage of you...you're impressive and you have made difference in our world...thank you." He smiles and walks onto the towers.

Buckling herself in she puts adjusts her comm and flicks various switches.

OOC: I'm gonna take editorial license here, please forgive me if I break the DC technology rules.

Flicking a switch that activates a shield seperating the hanger in two she opens the outside hatch and allows the water to flow in before guiding the javilin out of the hanger and into the ocean. Firing it up she aims for the surface and breaks the water's surface in less than 5 minutes.
Feeling the exileration of the Javilin's power she allows herself to lean back and enjoy the superficial enjoyment of the Javilins engine's power as she breaks the surface of the water into the bright light of day.
Water droplets flew off of the Javilin's body and turned into fake diamonds in the suns light.
Leveling the now aircraft out she pressed a few buttons to make it follow Johns comm signal and placed it on full speed.

"I only hope Diana's plan works, and she's not running it off of emotions."

Speaking softly into the comm "John, I'm on my way. Guide me in once you're there. I'm gonna need a hanger, or I can leave the Javilin on the surface and you can come back and get me." She says before observing her self induced 'radio silence' and leaning back to review her options of attack once she reaches the base.

*Zoom ports out into an empty area near the truck Nigma is in. He then sees Bruce continuosly bashing Nigma's face against the steering wheel. He contemplates whether or not to kill the Bat, but sees no reason in doing so. It would probably be more prudent to capture him. Zoom appears behind the Bat.*

"Now now Bruce, you'll never make Nigma talk by smashing his face against the steering wheel."

*Zoom then proceeds with a pinpoint strike to the neck, knocking him out.*

Pausing for a second he continues. " As for getting in I'm sure the IS base has a hanger inside of it. If not I can always open up a 'gate' between it and your craft for the group to go thru if nessary. Or in extreme cases just blow a hole large enough to fit the jet in and make our own hanger."

Then he stops for a moment as a idea comes to his head and he envelops the Javilin in a nearly invisable emerald field-with and opening where the main hatch is.

"Don't be alarmed. The field that I'm enveloping around your ship not only increase it's steath capabilites but is also nearly frctioness as well. Allowing the Javilin to move thru water like it was air and to give it addtional protection from the environment." he explains to her thru the data link." then he adds. "And I also left a hole in the field to allow others to board." And John pulls up a chair and waits until everyone else thats comming boards the craft.

Also the computers is fitted with an all Seeing Eye artifact, we can located limited magic. If the Amazon is around, the computers will tell us. For fun, I have conjured up some giant yellow shark constructs. What is that saying earth people say, Bring it? Who is that you are carrying? I cannot believe you have Batman here."

"I'm driving." Nigma was angry, and disoriented. Batman probably broke his nose, and a gust of wind, which Nigma could only guess was Zoom, came and whisked the Bat away. I'll have a talk with Zolomon later, he thought. He sent the van hurtling forward, and a split-second before it would strike the car in front of it, Nigma opened a smart portal and drove the van through.

Wonder Woman rockets the Invisible Jet in the stratosphere. She sets her course for the Injustice Society base.

"The frictionless field will be appreciated John. Don't worry about the water though. The Invisible Jet can go submersible. It just doesn't sound right if I call it the "Invisible Air/Sea Craft".

Wonder Woman smiles, then immediately feels guilty. "This is not the time", she thinks to herself.

Within an hour the jet approaches the IS base. She plummets below the surface of the ocean. After a few initial scans Wonder Woman checks for a security field. She notes that the base is on high alert, however the Injustice Society failed to close their hangar. Wonder Woman sets the Jet on auto pilot and grabs her "airmask". She streaks through the water and enters the base through the airlock.

She cautiously taps a button on her communicator which indicates to the League that she's going in.

The hangar is empty and she walks towards the adjoining hallway. Just then an alarm rings out through the base.

"So much for stealth." Wonder Woman pulls her mother's sword from it's scabbard.

"Time to get to work, League."

Wonder Woman strides majestically through the hallway looking for her first opponent.

OOC: uh....Digger's been at the IS base all along, but I'll modify here to save time and hassles.


IC: Digger Harkness had been true to his original thoughts, and after hours of boredom, decided to go and finish the bank job he'd been planning before joining up with the IS members. It was a Central City job, and while it helped to make up for the Gateway looting episode in which he lost a 'Rang jet, it seemed to be lacking something....money? no, he scooted out with close to a million...it had to be CHALLENGE!! Yes, Digger missed having Flash show up.

So....after stashing his ill-gotten gains at a hideaway, Digger armed himself to the teeth and ported back to IS hq hoping he was in time for 'the party.'

"Afternoon mates...miss me?" Digger asks. He them immediately notices that Zoom is holding an unconcious Batman and freaks. " IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS??!!!," Digger exclaims. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE, ZOOM??!!," he shouts even louder. "GET HIM THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!! HE'S THE WORST OF 'EM ALL!!!"

Then, when Digger thought things could get no worse...the alarms started sounding...ALL of them. "Oh well, out of the frying pan...." he grumbled. Checking the pre-sets on all his gear, he girded himself for combat. A mortal man, and a few super-powered loons, against the gods who walked on this earth.

At this point realized he was in the middle of proving a very dangerous truism: Be careful what you wish for.

Luthor walks into the Lexcorp towers through the back-alley and enters virtually un-noticed. He gets back up to his penthouse office, again un-noticed and takes a shower and gets cleaned up.

He asks his secretary to call Mr. Watson his chief of security.

Mr. Watson enters his office and Luthor is not a happy man with him. He says, "do you realize that I entered Lexcorp virtually un-noticed in these clothes?" He holds up his homeless garb and continues, "I made it up here without anyone stopping me or your crack security team even noticing me. Your security measres are truly sub-standard. every fiber of my being tells me that I should fire you...but you have been a loyal employee these many years...so instead you are demoted to assistant head of security. What I need now is a new perspective on security measures and a new bodyguard now that Mercy is in Paris running the Lexcorp offices. Mr.watson get a file on any qualified personel here in Lexcorp & in other parts of the world that might be able to fill these positions."

Mr. Watson leaves Lex who is ordering his afternoon lunch.

As for detection my Invisible Jet uses magic for cloaking. I flew past the shark and droid permimeter "cloaked". Then I made the shortest trip possible through your airlock.

I believe my magic is more powerful than your "detection" of magic. Especially when it's specifically designed to "cloak" from detection. Once I flew in the magic detectors set off the "intruder alert". Too late to stop me from going in, but not to late to stop my infiltration.

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but stranger things have happened.

"<comm> Advancing deeper into the Base. Utilize teleportal beacon at your convenience. Still no resistance."

Wonder Woman enters the central chamber of the base and sets her back against the near wall.

I got a chip to cash in after I was knocked out after one blow and my city got wasted in one post. The "Good Guys" are always going up against opponents that can fight the JLA singlehandedly. Before the Parasite could react, Batman had shattered a window that was holding off the ocean's fury. Suddenly water was rushing everywhere. The jet of water hit Rudy hard enough to turn an ordinary man into wonder-jelly, but Rudy had enough power now to easily withstand the pressure. He activated the oxygen field belt that Zoom had provided him with earlier, creating a usable atmosphere to breathe in.

"Now I'm really PO'ed."

Hoping that the other IS members could take care of themselves, Rudy swam off in search of his prey.

OOC: I took all this time to make the "IS" base difficult to find and enter. I realized that Digger docked his Boomerang Sub in a “hanger bay”. But in the beginning Riddler and Capt manage to sneak their way in the IS base. The only way to get inside is smart portals. I ended up fixing that with a Decoy base. Franklin Richards if you want to play that game, then next time I'll sneak into the JL base, I used the garbage chute, or exhaust vents. That will open up the Question of somebody opening the chute. If you wanted action, that's why I created the battle droids and the yellow sharks. Another thing, why do people worry about broken windows, we have the shield surrounding the base to protect us.

Finally his force field buckles and Wonder Woman grabs Sinestro's throat.

"You will not stop me from reaching Zoom and Boomerang."


She plucks Sinestro's eyes out of their sockets and crushes his eyes in her hands.

"You can't will what you can't see. Just be glad that you aren't the ones I'm looking for."


She flings Sinestro to the ground in a heap.

Using the knowledge he had acquired from Batman, Rudy used an old trick employed by Zatanna.

Wonder Woman’s armor shimmers with a dull light, and then the light fades with a crackling sound. No more magic armor problems. Grinning, the Parasite unleashes a wave of yellow energy combined with electricity at Wonder Woman, taking her by surprise. The massive energy blasts start to tear away her armor in small pieces. In a burst of fury, Rudy lunges at Wonder Woman, grabbing onto her face and begins draining.

Wonder Woman kicks Parasite and sends him flying across the room. Parasite splashes into the far wall. The water is now at his waste.

Wonder Woman fires two javelins at Parasite and they sink into his shoulders. Pinning him to the wall behind him.

Wonder Woman regains her breastplate and helm and turns to the Parasite.

"What if I gave you a chance to run, Parasite? Would you take it? I want Zoom and Boomerang."

Rudy smiles at WW. If he were still human, he might've hit on her, but right now, all he wanted to do was feed on her.

"What if I told you that I can absorb the inertia of your little toys?"

The Parasite reaches upward and snaps the javelins painfully from his shoulders. He swings them as clubs at WW, sending her flying across to the opposite wall. He strolls up to WW, twirling the javelins playfully, but ready to use them with the expert skills stolen from both Batman and now Wonder Woman.

"I guess you can have Boomerang and Zoom. All I want is enough juice from you to survive this day."

Rudy throws the javelins at Wonder Woman, using her own stolen strength.

OOC: And because I know somebody is going to ask sooner or later: Yes, Parasite can absorbe the inertia of objects that are thrown at him (however, if he's the object being thrown, he can't absorb it for the same reason that he can't absorb his own energy).
Rudy discovered this ability when Superboy threw a car at him once and Parasite drained the car's inertia, making the car drop without moving any further.

Once everyone is aboard John opens the watchtower's docking bay doors and both he and the emerald field incased Javilin head out towards the IS base at the jets full air speed, And some minutes laters arrive at their destionation....

....only to see the base surrounded by a yellow forcefield with a ring of both battle bots and what appeared to be yellow sharks surounding it.

(sigh) "I hate it when I'm right." John says to Black Canary over the Data link. "And he says I'm paranoid." John adds as he looks the base over John sees what looks like a sub bay door big enough to fit the Javlin thru, And sends this over to the Javilin via data link.

"I think that's the Javilin's way in." John says to Black Canary. "I hope that thing's armed because we will have to fight our way thru to get to it."

and on that note John breaks off the Data link and flys over to take out the first (of many) battle bots with well aimed emerald power blasts. Looking around to see others comming after him John thinks to himself. "Damn. This is getting tiresome." then, thru a normal comlin says to Black Canary in the Javlin

"Look alive. Company's comming."

*Zoom, still in the control room, is watching everything. Rudy was faring well against the Amazon, so he decided to look for Bruce. Several screens pop up and show Bruce making his way to the control room as well.*

"Ah well, misery loves company, guess I'll start the reception."

*Wondering why no defense systems have been activated, Zoom does it manually. Random lasers and defense droids pop out of the walls in front of Batman. (Robots made of promethium, really strong stuff that Batarangs can't scratch)*

"Have fun~."

*Zoom then sets a tiny camera set to inform Zoom when Batman, if by chance, made it to the control room. He stands up and stretches.*

Once everyone is aboard John opens the watchtower's docking bay doors and both he and the emerald field incased Javilin head out towards the IS base at the jets full air speed, And some minutes laters arrive at their destionation.

"Their is is" John says to Black Canary over the data link. "And I see just where you can part that thing at" he adds, seeing what looks like sub bay doors on the base. And fires a series of powerful emeral bolts at the doors to blow a hole in them large enough to fit the Javlin.

"That should shake up things. The door is now open madam." John says with a slight smile on his face and he breaks off the data link and swims thru the hole he created. comming up from the other side inside of the base's sub pen, encased in a protected emeral field.

OOC: the Javilin can easliy operate in this environment and it's close enough to now see the hole. I'm sure 'Canary can pilot it thru.

*His eyes slowly adjust and he sees Batman at the control console. Luckily, it's customized for IS members only and completely unhackable. He decides to let the Bat attempt to figure out how the console worked, and headed to the weapons room.*

"Grenades...I need grenades."

*Zoom finds an explosive one, and one that emitted ultra sonic sounds.*

"These should be good."

*He returns to the control room, Batman still trying to hack into the computer.*

"Have fun Bats."

*Zoom throws in the grenades, and smashes the door control, causing all the exits to seal. As Zoom walks away from the sealed room, he hears and explosion followed by a high pitched sound.*

"Good old ear plugs."

-As the small private plane I am aboard flies toward Mexico City, I begin to plot out my arrival...

(thinking to self) Once I arrive into Mexico City staying sharp will be key. The right dollar amount quickly turns allies into enemies. Besides, word on the street is El Mendigo has been a veeery busy boy. Apparently he has grown from the petty thug-for-hire I once new to a merciless boss of a crew bent on giving Mexico City's underworld a clean sweep. All I know is he better stay out of my way. Hopefully everything is still intact, just the way I left it. It will be good to see Eduardo, if he's still alive, even though that lazy bastard hasn't given me a status report in weeks. He can handle himself, I wouldn't have been comfortable him watching over my belongings otherwise. But it is unlike him to stay out of contact this long. I would've contacted him myself, but I must arrive without any notice just to give myself an edge against the unexpected. Luckily for me those bastards haven't a clue who they're really dealing with....
(pilot) Senor Montana, we are near Mexico City. I will be landing on the plain field up ahead as you asked.
(BANE) Excellente. Can you spot the abandoned gas station?
(pilot) Yes, I believe so.
(BANE) Good.............very good.

OOC: Let's try this again...the Hype lost my last post...hope I remember the details....AAARRGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!

IC: Digger heard the alarm claxons sounding and responded in the most logical manner he could imagine...he ran off to hide. Er, not hide, but to check the monitors to see what the IS was facing here.

He saw Wonder Woman beat her way in through a hangar door, and begin tussling with Parasite and Sinestro...noting her rage, he shivered. He monitored Batman knocking a hole in the side of the hq allowing it to flood, then finding Zoom, and Zoom's subsequent sealing and exploding of the room..."yeah...like that'll stop the Batman,' he thought. He also monitored the arrival of a JL Javelin engaging the IS bases defenses and gaining entrance to the hq. He noticed too, that quite surprisingly, or maybe not, that Sinestro no longer registered on any of the bases monitoring systems. 'That sneaky devil,' he thought.

' Wonderful,' he thought. He then proceeded to engage mechanisms to seal the Batman caused leak and expel the ocean water from the base. 'This doesn't look good.' He then eyed the bases auto destruct sequencer. 'OK, if we're buggered...then lets take em out along with us,' he decided. 'Sinestro is probably the only one who can de-activate it...and if he's alive to do so, then the IS has won. If not, then let the so-called heroes get what's coming to em.' With that thought, Digger activated the auto-destruct for 120 seconds and set some explosive boomerangs for good measure.

He decided to help his teammates, but was no fool, and set his portal on auto-proximity to escape harm. With that...he ventured stealthily into the IS bases hallways looking to aid his comrades escape the seemingly doomed base. He began by searching for ZOOM....

OOC: Wish I could have remembered all of the FIRST time I tried to post this. And remember leaguers, what you have read here is NOT known by your CHARACTER. I'm not quite done exploring this character, so please don't kill me. Or do...it's RPG...I can always draw another from the infinite well of the DC Universe. Still, would like to be able to look fwd to some basic Central City stuff in the future with this character.

Rudy smiles at WW. If he were still human, he might've hit on her, but right now, all he wanted to do was feed on her.

"What if I told you that I can absorb the inertia of your little toys?"

The Parasite reaches upward and snaps the javelins painfully from his shoulders. He swings them as clubs at WW, sending her flying across to the opposite wall. He strolls up to WW, twirling the javelins playfully, but ready to use them with the expert skills stolen from both Batman and now Wonder Woman.

"I guess you can have Boomerang and Zoom. All I want is enough juice from you to survive this day."

Rudy throws the javelins at Wonder Woman, using her own stolen strength.


Wonder Woman catches both javelins in mid-air.

"Thanks for returning these."


Wonder Woman's lasso lashes out at Parasite. The lasso acts as if it has a life of it's own and wraps Parasite from head to toe, making him resemble a golden mummy.


"Now, tell me. Where is Zoom and Boomerang? You cannot resist."

But you were RIGHT THERE when it happened...and yeh know damn well that Ol' Digger was already inside a portal when Zoom played Mr. Homicidal maniac." Digger was desperate at this point..."Yeh want me ta take the blame...here I am. Yeh want to kill me for Zoom's insanity? Here I am!!!" Boomerang was shouting at this point, trying to break through to the mad Amazon. "G'head then Princess!!!! I'll give yeh a free shot at me...but you'll be killin' an innocent man and yeh know it!!!"

With that, Digger closed his eyes and waited for what was to follow. Then he squinted one eye open.......

"Already told ya Sheila, Zoom. You were there at ground zero. Shockwave must've scrambled yer brains. I was in an interdimensional portal at the time, or I'D BE DEAD TOO. Mass homicidehas never been my modus operandi...and you KNOW it's the truth...yeh got yer demmed lasso on me. I'm unarmed. You gonna kill me, or what?" Digger says.

He is trembling with fear, but trying not to show it. He's ashamed of humbling himself to a hero, but hell, this time he really is innocent.

He watches Wonder Woman considering his words and can't take the suspense any longer...

"MAKE UP YER DEM MIND...EITHER LET ME GO OR KILL ME LIKE YEH CAME TO DO WOMAN!!!!!," he blurts out.

[Franklin Richards]

Wonder Woman walks to the side of Boomerang. She leans in real close, just a few inches away from his ear and whispers.

"I see that shiner I gave you is healing up fine. Good. Oh by the way. Did you know that Amazons can smell fear?"

She delivers a chop to the back of Captain Boomerang's head. He falls to the ground.

"You're not the one I want then."

She walks over to the mummified Parasite and uses a wrestling hold on him. Onlookers might call it the "sleeper hold" but Diana doesn't say a word. In a few seconds Parasite falls to the ground unconscious. Diana's lasso returns to her side.


"<comm> Watchtower. Justice League. Prisoners in the Main Chamber of the IS base. Use the beacon I planted in the Mess Hall to teleport in and contain them before they wake up. I'm going after Zoom."

Diana regains the lost pieces of her armor and exits the Main Chamber and wades through the water towards the Sleeping Quarters.


"My path is clear now. Zoom awaits."

He glances at his chronometer...60 seconds...he grabs Rudy as his portal opens... the two villains abscond from the fortress....

Diana sees a door that has been blasted out from the inside. She rushes in only to see Batman standing at a set of controls. He doesn't turn around but he does say,

"How did you survive the blast? And what's that countdown on the display there?"

"Men, I advise you to leave ASAP via smart portal. Mr. Digger has activated the self destruct, I was going to do the same but he beat me to it."

*Sinestro forms a protective aura around him and makes himself invisible as well.*

*Sinestro he ports inside his living quarters and flies to his personal vault. He opens the vault and creates a warp gate with his ring. He takes the items in his vault and places them in the warp gate. Then the gate disappears. Then he flies over to his mini super computer on his desk, he accesses the main computer files. He transfers the file to a yellow orb he created with his ring. The port outs when the transfer is done.*

"Now to find that blasted Amazon."

Two guards lie on the floor of the Metroplois Water Works, both of them dead, which would be quite obvious, since they were struck by a speeding van that materialized out of nowhere. The Riddler and his six men were moving the five 100 gallon drums they brought, from the van to an open vat of water being filtered. At Nigma's signal, the men began to pour the poison into the vat, contaminating the water.

After five minutes or so, the five drums were empty and the toxin was already flowing into Metropolis and it's surrounding areas.
"Drink up, Metropolis." Nigma said with a wicked smile.

He motioned for his men to load up the van with the drums, and the dead guards, and for them to get in. "I'll open the portal and you guys drive through, and once your back on the highway go back to Gotham."

Nigma opened the smart portal.
And his men drove through.
Nigma could hear screams from the other side of the portal, so he peeked his head through. He looked down and watched gleefully as the van, thugs, and all evidence plummeted to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
"Oops, wrong coordinates."

OOC: Okay, It's done. After 24 hours (in game) people in Metropolis should start dropping dead.

Docking procedure complete. JL Javelin 1 is secured, decompressed, and ready for disembarkment....

A portal opens inside a non-descript warehouse. Harkness immediately destroys his 'port device.

"Rudy...wake up..." Digger tries awakening the Parasite. "C'mon Rude... we've escaped the blasted Leaguers'...with any hope, they're all dead by now..." he says.

Digger looks around his warehouse..."Ah, gotta love the solitude of Star City," he says. Reflecting on what has gone before, and nearly being killed by an Amazon, Digger decides to re-dedicate his life to more simple crimes and leave the global stuff to those more suited for it....

John, after a long fight of taking out both the bases bots and sharks to allow the javilin to get thru. Was about to join them when his emerald power picked up the following from the base.

IC: Countdown to base destruction T-minus 57 seconds....

"Damn it all." John curse to himself. "FOLKS! GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE NOW!!!!!" he says to them thru the Javilin's comlin to them in his best DI (Drill Instructor) tone.

Then, concentraiting to see where the Javilin's location is within the base he opens up a portal just large enough to fit the Javilin thru right in front of the craft to a safe distance away from the explosion (where he's at now).

"I hope they get the hint." he thinks to himself as he holds open the portal.

While John holds open the portal he senses two more heros in trouble, and pushing his powers a bit further imediatly opens another small portal below their feet and sucks them thru it. Gets them out of the base just before the base explodes. Dumping them up 6 feet in the air above the ocean, directly above the IS base.

"I am going to need some serious R/R time after this." he says to himself.

OOC: Yeah I know it's cheesy. but this is comics here.
