The shield is much better now. But the collar needs to be larger. That tight thing is horrible and one of the thing that bugs me the most about that atrocity of a suit.

That is just a fan made image. Been floating around for yrs. And its prettymuch he we end up in the suit in last episode. We just don't know how long in the episode. And same goes for the partial/mostly used prop costume from sr actually being used.

This is a manip that has been around since they released the original pic of Rufus shortly before Singerman Returns was rleased in theaters in 2006.

Either way works for me. I just prefer the way i did better. lol and i dont mean that in an arrogent way. I just love the negative space pattern on the back. Kinda looks kryptonian to me :yay:

thanks Webhead. Well for the costume i want to see a material that folds and shows off muscle definition. I dont want to see a repeat of SR's suit where he looks rubbery and stiff and that needs 3 people to get him out of it. I can understand how they might want to put a thick material suit on him as it has to be durable to with stand the conditions he puts it through. But theres just better ways to do it than the SR suit.
An example of this is with spidermans costume in the movies. If u look at the blue parts of his costume, mainly his legs, I think that type of material would be perfect. I have a feeling too that in the new supes movie they will make the blue dark and keep the red bright. Just my opinion. but u never know. Im not really that fussed about the blue to behonest. I think if they get everything else right it wont matter. In the films he has bright blue and in STAS he has dark and they both look good because the reds are right.
As for the shield, id love to see a flat almost suede shield with 2 tone colours that the shades would change with different light direction. i love that orangie yellow look for the background of the symbol too. I want to see it take up his whole chest area. A small \S/ just looks so wrong.
I definietly want to see an open neckline. Anything else just looks wrong i think.
The cape is a toughie i think. I think the material should be heavier than what chris reeve wore but not as heavy as in the tim burton batman movies. To be honest i didnt really have a problem with the material they used for it in SR it was just the colour and the shape of it that annoyed me. I hate that triangle look.
Usually for the manips i do, i use the SR cape, i just change the colour. And i think it looks good. I definietly want to see the \s/ on the back of it too. Preferably the negative space with just the yellow of the the red symbol. I love that. And they have to use it in smallville because it was in 2 future visions so if they dont i wont be a happy camper. lol :P
Also his belt i think should get away from the yellow and go more gold. Id love to see a gold/metal shiny belt on him. The belts in the STM and SR just look so tacky to me. They deff need an upgrade in material too.

So anyway thats what i would love to see lol

Some nice views man. I agree with you. As for cape personally hated the pleather look in sr. I rather go a more silk material or what bale had in his batman movies. Def wide neckline so cape flows over body better. As for tights part I made this example before what if the material was something like underarmour material. That def shows off muscles well and wrinkles in right areas.

Yeah bales cape is good. Its a very light material tho. I think its parachute silk with some weird sprayed on fabric. It could look too thin when hes flying, but deff worth a tester i think. ;)
That under armour material is perfect to be honest. I love that idea. Im definietly sold on it ;) sign me up!! lol

Yeah i can totally see where ur coming from. I always thought he was a bit too slim when i saw him in the movie. As for the acting i dont know dude. As u know the script was bloody aweful and he was a very moanie superman. I think he played Clark kent pretty well though to be honest. well i seen routh in sr, this guest stint in chuck, didnt think he was all that great there either. Then i recently saw scott piligim and still thought he was bad there. Maybe he could have done differently with a different director/script with superman. But he still bad in my book, like for example tatum chaning that gut is crap all over. But i just dont care for routh and glad he wont be superman ever again.

Only things I don't really like nowadays in reeve suit is how the belt looks and his boots they kinda looked more like a big sock lol. But his suit does make for good manips still.

Not bad. I'll give you two pieces of advice on it though. 1. try to work on your cutting skills. I tend to use the pen tool for mine it gets in closer for great detail. 2. flip his head to point the other way for a more natural look. Ok I lied three pieces of advice, 3. the blur tool and smudge tool are great for making the head look like it it is attached better to the body. Other then that you are coming along great with your manips. Keep them coming.

ha hmm well for this one i was thinking of a kind of leather like material ( i know what ur thinking but stay with me lol) It wouldnt be real thick leather, it would look leatherish but still be thin enough to show muscle definition. Something like pleather. I always loved the idea of a home made suit that his mother made him using own materials and bits she has that came with the ship. Like his symbol could of been taken off his baby blanket and the belt could be some part of the ship he added to it.

I totally agree with u webby. I really hope they make drastic changes to the SR suit. It bugs me that there even using it. But im guessing the small tacky 3d \S/ is staying considered they already showed it :( The \S/ in last yrs season finale i thought looked really cool. u know the one where it shows it in his eye? anyway fingers crossed they give us bright reds and an open neckline at least.
