Pfff finally finished reading trough all the 120 pages. Man I saw some great battles, some odd wins, some ownage, but overall good fights. Which convinced me to register here. Not that I know allot of comic book heroes, but hey I found enough links to look em up and theres always google. I do like comics, bought some when I was between 6 and 12, but never really got into it and never read whole series. Also saw allot of spiderman and xmen on television so I do know those villians and heroes. But most of them I dont know, and I didnt even know doom was that strong. Anyway enough bull****ting on my part. Lets get on to the voting.
You do have a point that blade has fought tougher opponents ( I think ) but has he fought opponents as fast as QS? Because QS can probably dodge his shots, do some hit and runs on blades face and remaun unharmed. But if blade can tackle QS, and I am sure he can, than QS is in for some serious ass whoopin.
So I vote blade

blade has his own enhanced speed and agility (while not at Quicksilver's level he still has it), but he also has enhanced strength, and better senses, and enhanced regenative capabilities and enhanced stamina. Blade has my vote.
Blade may be quick but QS is fast. Faster than any Vampire.
He also thinks faster.
Don't forget Qs once single handedly took on booth the East and West Coast Avengers and almost won.
Could Blade take on a team like Thor Cap etc.
Idon't think so.

i think the logic is that peitro's speed and reflexs would allow him to land 50 punches before his opponent could land one

Quicksilver wins.
He's too fast for blade. Quicksilver can think and move just as fast as he runs. That means faster reflexes, and yes he's also a little stronger than Blade. Here: Strength level: Quicksilver possesses superhuman strength primarily in his lower body as part of his body's adaptations for running. With his upper body he can lift (press) approximately 1000 pounds. He can leg press approximately one ton under optimal conditions.

I know a lot about most Marvel characters...but honestly, I never even heard of the Illuminator until he was brought up in that thread. I'm trying to find info on him but I can't find anything...all I know is that hes a hardcore Christian character with light powers...besides that I can't help you that much...sorry Zoken!

finally a couple characters I can sink my teeth into.
now going back to what they reicieved their basic training in, Kurt was trained to be a performing acrobat. Remy knows acrobatics as well, but his are designed for practical uses; fighting, evading, distracting. also Remy is a trained theif and pick-pocket as well as a fightinger, more than likely trained in grappeling.
now powers: Kurt is a line of sight teleporter (basically thought that may have been increased), and Remy charges objects with kinetic energy. Kurt is going to be in the vicinity if Remy sets anything big off. also, Kurt instinctively transports things on his person (IE: clothes, belts, weapons, accessories).
All remy would have to do is have a small scuffle with him and either plant a charged card or object on Kurt, or charge something on him. either way his pick-pocket skills would make this no difficult feat. while Kurt may also be an excellent swordsman, Remy is more than a match with his bo staff.
My vote goes to the Ragin' Cajun, Remy "Gambit" LeBeaux

tough call.....I really am not sure....I think it would depend on the environment that they fight it (i.e.-does it have a lot of room for Nightcrawler to teleport or are there a lot of objects for Gambit to charge). I guess I will say Nightcrawler.

this is a really good matchup, i know Kurt would give the cajun a tough time, but i'll go with Gambit, he's a streetfighter, a Masterthief, and good as hell with the bow. Plus Gambit has a persuasive charm that would convince Kurt to stop playing pick-a-boo and fight like a man, in wich case Gambit wins via Knockout.

All Nighty has to do is grab ahold of gambit and start teleporting..when he is done night night to gambit...so charging a card and planting it wouldn't work since this would be Nighty's first attack, and i think that Nighty could take gambit in hand to hand as well. Nighty has much more experience in this department from all his years training in the danger room, and as far a sword vs. staff...it would be more like 3 swords vs. staff....and Nighty is quicker and more agile than gambit..it would be a good fight but i still think Nighty takes it in the end.

i believe there's a comic book were War Machine beats the whole x-force team (excluding Cable),...the cover shows War Machine grabing a defeated Cannonball by his collar, while shatterstar is jumping from behind. So, he defeated him before, and he'll beat him again.

I think Cannonball would waste War Machine.
1. He would be way to fast a target for War Machine to hit
2. Even if War Machine did hit him, Cannonballs forcefield would prevent most of the damage
3. A direct hit from Cannonball would shred War Machine

Um, Darphnugget, the way this works is Sparta puts up the challenges and we cast our votes. I'll go with Wolfsbane and i'll tell u why, Wolfsbane is a hunter, and a quite good one, as soon as snowbird morphs into a cananadian bird, well it's hunting season. Besides snowbird WAS a godess, meaning she no longer is one. Even if she morphs into something biger and stronger Wolfsbane would be all over her like flies on excrement.

The weakness that these 2 have iirc are that Gladiator is vulnerable to certain types of radiation, but its not known which types, and Neferia must infuse himself with Ionic energy from time to time to keep his powers at that level, so in a prolonged fight Gladiator would get it, hell in a short fight he would probably get it as well, it would just be a bit more difficult.
