The fact that Wonder Man's composed of ionic energy doesn't stop people from knocking him around, damaging him with other energy, and that sort of thing. Phasing his hand through Wonder Man would hurt him just like anyone else, and Vision can phase through energy as well as matter.

He used to carry the Ebony blade, but I remember the thing being cursed and actually incapacitating The Black Knight for a time. I don't know what happened to it after that, but after he recovered he was carring around some cheesy light saber looking thing. I don't about Excalibur though. :venom:

yeah the blade had a blood curse that affected whoever drew blood with it.
Thats what happened when he was paralyzed his body took on the curse and could kill similarly to the blade.
The lightsaber idea sucked.
Part of the mythos of the BK is the ebony blade. Resisting its dark call is what made Dane a hero

Dane used to carry the Ebony Blade, but he ditched it because of the blood curse. The Ebony Blade found its way into the hands of Sean Dolan, Dane's old squire, and Dolan became the Bloodwraith after succumbing to its curse.
Dane then built the photonic sword that everyone writes off as a lightsaber. I thought it was visually lame but actually a pretty good idea. After being forced to pull his punches, so to speak, because he couldn't risk spilling blood with the Ebony Blade, the photonic sword provided him a chance to cut loose since he couldn't draw blood with it. Stabbing someone with it disrupted the electrical impulses of their nervous system, thus stunning them without really harming them. He used the photonic sword until he returned to the 616 universe from the Ultraverse.
Once he got back to the 616 universe, he met the Lady of the Lake. She told him that every generation has a hero who embodies the same ideals as King Arthur did in his day and protects his generation. She named Dane this generation's protector, known as the Pendragon, and gave him Elven armor, enchanted weapons, and a magical winged horse named Strider. He now uses the Shield of Night, which can absorb literally any kind of energy directed at it, including the kinetic energy of physical blows, and the Sword of Light, which is mystically enchanted to cut through just about anything, including magic barriers, create light, and fire off the energy absorbed by the Shield of Night in blasts of that same energy. Strider is capable of flying at speeds beyond the speed of sound, he can be summoned from Avalon or sent back there on Dane's mental command, and while on Strider's back Dane is magically able to survive in any environment, including space, underwater, whatever.
That said, Dane really has no protection against psychic assault, so I'd have to go with Stryfe, unfortunately. :(

He can go toe-to-toe with Captain America and stand a decent chance of winning, and he's fought Wolverine to a standstill too (before they were interrupted, unfortunately, as is the case with most hero vs. hero bouts). He did seem to have the upper hand in his fight with Wolverine and in all of the fights with Cap. They just kept getting interrupted. But, like I said, Stryfe can attack him in ways that he has no defense against. If Stryfe were to physically fight him with no telepathy, sure, he'd kick Stryfe's ass.

As much as I love Spider-Man, he's not out-thinking Reed Richards. Ever. Reed and Doom are pretty much the top of the heap in intelligence at Marvel. If Peter had never become Spider-Man, he probably could've focused on his studies enough that he could be in Reed's league, but as of now, Pete's just not there.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but Ghost Rider wins it. Even if it weren't for the penance stare he's got two other things going for him. 1) ranged attacks, he doesn't have to get within Wolvie's striking distance to attack. 2) As Azrael said in 'DOGMA', "I'm a *****in demon." I'm pretty sure that nothing Wolvie could do would destroy an immortal demon like Ghost Rider (if he could even get close enough to hit him). :venom:

I don't know, I've just always heard it stated that Reed and Doom are the smartest people on Earth. The High Evolutionary certainly hasn't done anything that's more impressive than Reed or Doom have, anyway. He's evolved animals into sentient beings; Doom's built a time machine and Reed's built a dimensional portal. They're all around the same level, in my opinion.

Im going for rogue, she just has to hit him good once, steal his powers and than she has such a big advantage its just sad. But she has to hit him first though, thats the hard part haha. But she has superior strenght, the ability to fly and as mentioned before she can drain/steal his powers.

No one really knows. He's not up to the Flash's level, clearing light speed without much trouble, but he's significantly faster than he used to be before being exposed to Isotope E.
But, since Quicksilver isn't quite up there at Flash-level speed, I'd have to give the fight to Rogue. Without enough speed to start affecting physics, there's really not much Pietro could do to hurt Rogue and Rogue would only have to hit him once.

Quasar, natch. Blackbolt's not gonna open his mouth on a human being unless that human being is bringing about the apocalypse right before his eyes. Since that obviously wouldn't be the case with Quasar, Quasar's ungodly wide range of energy manipulation abilities would take Blackbolt down.

Given the fact that he's Apocalypse, I can't say that's surprising. And the destructive force of a whisper from Blackbolt would have to first make it through Quasar's quantum shields, which is no easy task.

Quasar would not easily do it, but he'd still win. While Black Bolt has powers that can shatter mountains and such, Quasar's quantum bands give him those nice little Quantum Constructs that are as strong as the energy he puts into them (via the infinite quantum zone). And since Black Bolt isn't magical, the shield would hold up. Or he could just muzzle Black Bolt using the same energy, then smack the life out of him.
