The outcome I think would be different if it was T-Bird from the Exiles, the one that was a horseman of Apocolypse in another reality. He took the Hulk out when his Horseman rage activated!:eek:

Yeah he is a bad-ass in that reality but based on the picture displayed that is the normal version who died in an explosion by sacrificing himself...

I don't know about Strong Guy.....I swear I read a comic a while back where he was fighting someone, I think it may have been the Hulk. In fact, I'm sure it was the Hulk (the smart one) because he was making fun of his name. Anyway, Strong Guy was doing his thing absorbing the punches and growing stronger.........but his body was growing too fast for his heart to keep up and he either passed out or had a heart attack. Not sure which one but in either case the fight was over. I think if Thunderbird would just wail on him and not let up, the same thing may happen again. Granted, Thunderbird isn't as strong as the Hulk but it still might work. :venom:

Johnny attacks Ben with nova blasts, but they don't penetrate the Thing's rocky skin, and he retaliates with an aggressive lunge. Johnny dodges and takes to the skies, building up enough heat for a nova blast. Reed, meanwhile, tries to locate an invisible Sue, who then appears in the sky behind Johnny. Before Reed can warn his ally, Sue creates an invisble force field around him and starves him of air, thus rendering his fiery form useless. She then stuns him with a force blast. Reed stretches to attack her, but Ben beats him impossibly hard and ties him in knots.

I don't remember much about the Kraven arc where he buries Spider-Man, but didn't he stick to long-range stuff and drugs, mostly? I don't think he beat Spider-Man in a fair fight. Good for Spider-Man, who's about 99% physical fighter with very few defenses other than his agility and spider-sense. If Kraven tried those tricks with Black Panther, he'd be faced with BP's vibranium suit, which is bulletproof, and BP's other toys.

Spider-man was NOT completely level headed in that arc before he even meets Kraven. Kraven shot him from long range and drugged him making him less agile and able to defend himself. Eventually he goes down and Kraven buries the drugged up Spider-man. He did win in that arc but his mind was on something else, I just can't remember what...

Bah Humbug! Sparta just got lucky and was in the right place at the right time. He saw everyone creating vs. threads and wanted to do one himself, but feared the wrath of the Hype COMIC BOOK TITANS (A.K.A., Cyclops, Corpulent1, Guyverjay, X, Weigabo (sp) and a few others) due to the fact that any newbie that did create one was devoured by the TITANS and sent into an abyss where they had to sit through an eternity of comic book kingdom lore lessons that filled them with millions of needless stories, facts and plasuable scenarios.

So Sparta then decided to fool the TITANS into thinking he had created a thread that was elegant, poised, insightful and fun. So came Sparta's cleaverly hidden vs. thread. The Titans were appeased and rejoiced, until one day the the terrible menace known as the DevilHulk emerged from the lurks of Hades to run amoke in the TITANS kingdom, where he still lurks, the Titans unable to do away with this annoying menace.

But the Hype lives on, as well as the greatest vs. thread ever created.

In a hand to hand fight on land or in the water Iron Man wins, range, strength and speed are all on Stark's side. If Nam desides to use his invulnerability (which he will) Stark can avoid him long enough to get him vulnerable again.

Your math is wrong. If Stark were able to press 1 ton above his head, 2,000lbs that means he would be able to press 50 tons above his head, making NAMOR the superior in strength. :D

Oh and I doubt Stark can press 1 ton above his head, he has to be peak human, if that, so I'd say 800lbs at best, putting him more in the 20 ton range, WELL below Namor :D

Bah Humbug! Sparta just got lucky and was in the right place at the right time. He saw everyone creating vs. threads and wanted to do one himself, but feared the wrath of the Hype COMIC BOOK TITANS (A.K.A., Cyclops, Corpulent1, Guyverjay, X, Weigabo (sp) and a few others) due to the fact that any newbie that did create one was devoured by the TITANS and sent into an abyss where they had to sit through an eternity of comic book kingdom lore lessons that filled them with millions of needless stories, facts and plasuable scenarios.

So Sparta then decided to fool the TITANS into thinking he had created a thread that was elegant, poised, insightful and fun. So came Sparta's cleaverly hidden vs. thread. The Titans were appeased and rejoiced, until one day the the terrible menace known as the DevilHulk emerged from the lurks of Hades to run amoke in the TITANS kingdom, where he still lurks, the Titans unable to do away with this annoying menace.

But the Hype lives on, as well as the greatest vs. thread ever created.

That makes more sense, BUT as I said, Stark is at best PEAK human, so 800lbs above his head. Bringing him into the 20 ton range, boost that by double and Namor still has Stark in the 40 ton range. Even if Stark were around 1,000-1,200lbs, which I find a little high, even still those figures would only bring him up to....25 tonsx2= 50 ton range or 30 tonsx2= 60 ton range.

Either way you slice it, Iron Man, mid 90's era still doesn't pack enough power to take on Namor in the strength dept. Maybe if you put him in the 1 ton range but that is well above peak human and stark is just that. At best, even then you are putting him in with Cap America and the like, most I have seen Cap lift is 1,200lbs.

Just because someone who isn't a psychic is fighting a psychic, it doesn't mean the battle is automatically over...this battle takes place in Limbo where Magik is uber powerful...Magik is the sorceress supreme of Limbo and knows all the same spells as the demon Belasco...so i'm sure she would be able to whip up some magik (har har) to prevent Phoenix from shutting her mind down

Phoenix. She once hit the Beyonder with a nuclear explosion. He said she was the only being in the universe whose power he respected. Magik did have a very good constant psychic shield that was quite strong.It prevented Xavier from reading her mind but exactly how powerful it was against direct attack I don't know.
