Not quite. Mephisto can go in and out of any dimension as he pleases. And since the battle is in Mephisto's realm, he clearly has the advantage. And I don't think Loki's magical feats and dimensional travel is higher than Mephisto who even tried to take possession of the infinity gauntlet from Thanos himself.
And about your question on how would Mephisto's strength make a difference. Did you not read my first post about this match up? His strenght and endurance are both magical in nature.

I do not think that Lokis' magic iis that powerful. He may be powerful by mortal standards but not by the standards of gods. Loki might not even make the top 20 of those mentioned indirectly or directly in various comics.In AAsgard alone he is no better than fourth and possibly as low as sixth behind Odin, Tiwaz,Karnilla and possibly two giant brothers whose names I don't recall. Their brother Forsung was said in the first handbook to be nearly Odins equal. The two younger brothers may be of similar power. There is no possibility that Loki could even give Mephisto a good fight.

***Okay, things are going to be a little different for this match-up. I'm posting this battle because over in Jewish Hobbits Contest of Marvels, which I am involved in, this match-up has been a tie...so we decided to end it this way. This is how its going to work: Jewish Hobbit, and myself are the owners of these 2 characters...I am going to post our arguements, and I want everyone to read them before voting...it is absolutley crucial that everyone READ the arguements before deciding who they are going to vote for...if your too lazy to read the arguements, do not vote! It is equally as crucial that no one voting debates this match-up in anyway. I believe that sums up what I wanted to cover...have fun and happy voting :up::up:***

BLOODAXE (Sparta*)

Bloodaxe wields an axe endowed with power by the ancient Asgardian, the Enchantress. It's kind of like an evil version of Mjolnir that compels it's owner to kill. The Enchantress endowed the axe with the magical ability to create dimensional rifts. This means Bloodaxe has been able to project concussive bolts of Asgardian mystical force and hurricane force winds from his axe.

Bloodaxe was endowed with vast superhuman Asgardian strength. Balder, an Asgardian, said that Eric Masterson as Thor was a lesser fighter then Bloodaxe, and their strength seemed to be equal. Bloodaxe has superhuman endurance to the point of being invulnerable to 'conventional firearms' and 'incendiary or ballistic devices' both of which are more destructive then anything Spidercide can do with his organic tissue. Also, Bloodaxe has superhuman reflexes and stamina, which means he can deliver a beating, but take one just as hard and keep on going.

Wikipedia even says 'Bloodaxe is an exceedingly difficult character to damage or restrain'. The Axe he wielded is mystically enchanted and virtually indestructible. It can only be damaged by another mystically enchanted weapon which Spidercide would not be able to find or make. It could cut through virtually any substance, except for 'maybe adamantium, and Mjolnir.'

One time when Bloodaxe fought Thunderstrike, the axe actually possessed Thunderstrike, so in theory, even if Bloodaxe was somehow knocked out by Spidercide, which wouldn't happen cause he lacks the force to do it, the axe would just possess Spidercide turning him into Bloodaxe...which would technically give him the win.

Considering his strength, endurance, stamina, and rage, he's kind of like a Thor/Wolverine combination. He would just overwhelm Spidercide before he could even do anything. With strength like that, and a rage that's equally strong, Bloodaxe has been a challenge even for the God of Thunder, and he would rampage right through Spidercide and any person on the campus who got in his way mercilessly.

JH mentioned that Spidercide is a clone of Peter Parker so he knows the campus and could form machinery to stop Bloodaxe...thats fine and dandy, but I don't think Bloodaxe would just sit there and let Spidercide do that. He could take the whole university down with some hurricane winds from his axe, and his sheer power. If there were any explosions or anything, Bloodaxe would remain unharmed while Spidercide would be pulverized. All in all, everything leads to Bloodaxe winning this fight.

SPIDERCIDE (Jewish Hobbit)

Now people, before you vote against Spidercide due to negative flashbacks to the Clone Saga,... we're hoping that you vote based on who would actually win this match, and not based on which character you personally like more. Now, with that said, as the owner of Spidercide, it's my duty to convince you that he could beat Bloodaxe.

Now let me tell you a little bit of why I think he'd win. First off, Spidercide is a mutated clone of Peter Parker. This means that he has all of Spidey's powers, plus the extra that the Jackal had given him. That extra is that he can control his body on a molecular level so that he may turn his form into other forms, such as water,.... and he can sharpen body parts into razers. He can stretch like Mr. Fantastic. He can also take one heck of a hit because his body is very malable and can bend to obsorb impact and such. It's hard to tare or break. He can take some damage. In the comics, it took him being shoved from the roof of the Daily Bugle to defeat him, and that didn't even kill him. So there's the basics. Here's some insite into this match:

First off, the location will work to Spidercide's advantage. They are fighting in the very same college that Peter Parker had attended, and so Spidercide being Peter's clone, he would remember this place well. He may be blood thirsty and crazy, but he also has Peter's brains and will know how to use this place to his advantage.

Now here's some things comparable to Bloodaxe. Yes,.. Bloodaxe has much of the strength and such as the Asguardians, however,... he is brash. In many occations he will allow his furociousness to get in the way of his logic,... and as we all know, logic is something that Peter Parker has in abundance. Spidercide, being Peter's clone, would know how to take advantage of this. He is a psychopath and a killer, but he can also use discretion and intelligence if needed. He will probably go one on one with Bloodaxe, but will quickly learn the might of his foe,.. in which case he will begin to use his brains to a greater degree. He will use the location to launch surprise attacks, as well as dropping most of it around Bloodaxe. His spider-sense will warn him of danger and will aid him in fighting Bloodaxe, so a surprise by the foe will be hard to land. He will quickly realize that the axe is the source of Bloodaxe's power and will aim to rid him of it. They will fight all over the Empire State University, and bring most of it down in the process, and both will be hurting. Bloodaxe will land some impressive blows, but Spidercide's advanced physology can take it. Spidercide will land some amazing blows, but Bloodaxe can take it. Spidercide's intelligence and spider-sense will work wonderfully against Bloodaxe's rage and lack of common sense in battle.

There are many ways each can win, and it could go in any direction,... but I have a game plan that I feel would work. In the Contest of Marvels, we have a rule that allows a character to use a resource, or something that they would be known to use. Spidercide had used a disease in the Maximum Clonage saga that was disigned to kill anyone who was not a clone. The only man who survived it was a person who was able to adapt to his suroundings, thus he adapted, but that is not Bloodaxe's power. In the battle, Spidercide will fight like mad,.. but when he reaches the point where he's not sure how to drop the redskulled man, he will pull the capsal out and will open it. The virus is airbourne and works instantly. Bloodaxe will become infected, and within second he will fall over dead.

It will be a tough fight for both sides, and it could go in any direction,... however, the virus gives Spidercide that extra little advantage that will give him the win.

If Bloodaxe sliced Spidercide to pieces, he's not going to be stupid enough to sit there and let him reform...he would summon hurricane force winds from his axe and blow the pieces of Spidercide miles away from the battle. There is nothing Spidercide could do to actually harm Bloodaxe...his durability makes him resistant to anything Spidercides body could do.

Sorry about my comments. Its just that I based it on the two arguements.
Now that you mention that Spidercide can reform, then cutting him in half would not work. Still, Spidercide cannot harm Bloodaxe even with his virus. Bloodaxe is just to much for him.:) Even if he continues to rematerialize, he wont win.

All I gotta say is that I'm gonna vote for Ms. Marvel. Photonic energy that can melt steel, strength class just about She Hulk, flight, speed, energy draining abilities that only ENHANCE those others greatly.
