Yeah, anything is possible. I just don't like when the match-ups are totally one sided in votes. I try to make match-ups that will will be close and ensure that both people get votes (like the Herc and Drax) because its that close. But even now that I changed it to Wendigo, i'm sure Wonderman will still get all the votes, so it really doesn't make any difference. haha

i'm confused about this battle doesn't make sense i know the kingpin is all muscle but i would have to say strong guy of course he's a mutant!

Rachel's nowhere near the Phoenix Force in power. As far as I recall from the old Excalibur series, she was just a powerful telepath and telekinetic. Roughly around Jean's level when Jean didn't have the PF, or maybe a little more powerful.

We all know what would happen in that fight though, so I purposefully tried to make match-ups where we wouldn't know for sure. Hulk VS Invisible woman is way more interesting then Hulk VS Thing.

Hulk vs Invisible Woman and Invisible Woman gets a victory. :eek: Hulk does, for those who don't know, have an ability to see or at least know somebody invisible is there and he can actually fight and defeat them. He may sometimes be a little slow at catching on, but he does. The other matchups are OK, though.

3) Ghost Rider
4) Human Torch

So, this way, it is a tie (both sides win 2 battles each), but Hulk and Ghost Rider could beat the Human Torch and Thing, so I go for the New Fantastic Four. In fact, Hulk alone has stalemated/beaten the Fantastic Four all on his own. Still, though, I liked this match-up. It was very different and original. Very clever thinking, Sparta. :up: Keep up the good work. Most of the matches you have done have been great.

I would be interested in Thor vs. Iron Man and/or Thor vs the Thing in the future. Hope you could consider this. :)

Fantastic vs Spiderman should be a close one but I would agree with you

Now here I really disagree, the Torch could not hurt the Hulk except in one nova burst which would leave him defenseless against a Hulk who will recover. The Hulk could use one hand clap to snuff out the Human Torch. I do not think they are in the same league.

With regard the original match ups, I would answer the same IW short term, Hulk long term. By the way i am assuming she is createing smalll force fields within the Hulk's or Wolverine's brain.

Now here I really disagree, the Torch could not hurt the Hulk except in one nova burst which would leave him defenseless against a Hulk who will recover. The Hulk could use one hand clap to snuff out the Human Torch. I do not think they are in the same league.

And yes, Hulk could not be beaten (or even very hurt, if hurt at all) by the nova.

I don't really think this battle is a no brainer...I think it could have gone in anyones favor. I was going to vote for Iceman originally. I think Iceman would give Cyke a hell of a good run for his money. So it would definatley be a good fight in my opinion...and not really a no brainer to most people.

I disagree the only one that has anywhere near the strategic ability of Cyke would be Angel.

Read any run of the X-men and you will find that Cyclops is the one sent in to shake up the troops.

X-men byrne run The proteus story Cyke manhandles Wolverine Storm and Colossus all at once.


He knows there powers and how to counteract them better than anyone.

The Punisher follows some tracks through the sewers, finding that the tracks are far smaller than his. He arrives, two hours later, at a warehouse. He guesses that he is somewhere in Red Hook. He finds that the hatch he climbs through is well-maintained, meaning that whoever is guilty is still here. The gang has underground access to half the city, and a nice quiet hideout to bring their victims to. Suddenly, with a flash of claws, Wolverine arrives.


“This thing has psycho written all over it,” exclaims Wolverine, and slashes Punisher’s back. Wolverine continually taunts Punisher, and Punisher unloads his shotgun point-blank in Logan’s face. As they fight, Wolverine rips several holes in Punisher’s armored body, while Punisher tries to figure out a means of escaping. Castle notes that he cannot win a fight against a man with “half a dozen pigstickers and a grow-a-new-ass superpower.”

Two shadowy men are watching the fight on a monitor, as Wolverine looks to be winning the fight. The leader explains that they owe the Punisher a great debt, and that Wolverine is practically one of them. They decide to keep watching. Wolverine seems to have Punisher at his mercy, and begins to taunt him again. Castle lunges at him quickly, but Wolverine throws him through a wall. He finds himself in an old night watchman’s office. “About time I got a break.” He picks up a baseball bat. Wolverine charges forward. “Adamantium skeleton, bub! Whut the hell ya think yer gonna do with that?” Punisher responds by giving Wolverine a home-run swing to the groin, knocking Wolverine to the ground. Punisher checks around the office, and finds his favourite weapon – a tank of gasoline. Punisher notes that he would have preferred to talk some sense into the little rodent, but that was before he got cut to ribbons. Punisher dumps the tank of gas on the sprawling Wolverine, and lights a match. Before he can burn Wolverine, though, a voice screams at them to stop. The voice explains over the loudspeaker that they are among friends and that they will not be harmed so long as they do not resist. The voice explains that they are the new power of New York City, and that the others are extinct – they just don’t know it yet. “The underworld is changing! Acknowledging its true masters! The Mob will finally wither and die… just as soon as we cut them down to size.” Wolverine and the Punisher find themselves surrounded by an army of “little people.”

Later on.....

Punisher fires a volley from his Uzi into Logan’s crotch, severely debilitating him. “They’ll grow back,” says Punisher. “You’re in my way here.”

Punisher looks around the warehouse, and sees a steamroller. As Wolverine howls, Punisher drives it right over Wolverine, parking it on his head.

He has a small chance of putting him down but not killing him.

and cyclops won the last battle? as KAD said, he can counter attack the other's attacks, but lets see him counter attack when Iceman freezes cyc's brain! Or when Arcangel is flying too fast for cyc to get a lock on him and fills him full of wing knives! :xmen:

Yeah, I agree Corp. I've never really had much respect for her until now. She really is amazingly powerful. She could probably hold her own pretty well against Thor, which is impressive.
