This is kind of a tough one . . . with prep-time Deathbird could probably use some sort of Shiar weapon to neutralize Banshee, or other tech to protect her from his sonic scream. If she gets the drop on him, she could also just slash his throat.

But if they're just thrown into an arena and told to go at it -- I say Banshee takes this. All he has to do is get off one good scream to knock Deathbird out.

Doesn't answer my question, as it says at the bottom of the article, Super Skrulls seem to be an elite division, which means more than one. In any case, I'll just go by the photo and stick with Absorbing Man.

I have never heard of any but the one Super Skrull. There are many Skrulls (obviously) but I believe there is just the one.

Curiously, a Skrull named Xavin from Tarnax VII has also appeared, claiming to be 'a Super-Skrull in training'. It follows that the Super-Skrulls are some sort of elite warrior class, similar to the Green Lantern Corps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Lantern_Corps) or the Kree Public Accusers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronan_the_Accuser#Kree_Public_Accusers).

I remember reading about Xavin vaugely, and since there seems to be more than one, specs were necessary.

In any case, I still remain with Absorbing Man who held his own with Thor, while the Super Skrull got his ass kicked in terrible fashion. It only stands to reason that if he couldn't beat the man that another faced with better results that the other would be the clear choice.

Unfortunately Polls don't always follow logic.

Isn't Xavin the dude who just recently showed up in Runaways to marry Karolina? If so, that's a huge assumption to make based on the fact that there's just one other guy who appears to have expanded powers beyond just the Skrulls' natural shapeshifting. So far the only Skrulls I can recall who've been enhanced beyond that are:

Super-Skrull
Skrullian Skymaster (the Super-Skrull of the Squadron Supreme's dimension)
Hulkling (he's got super-strength in addition to shapeshifting)
Xavin

Kind of a small group to attribute a whole class to them, especially when one's from another dimension and one's not even affiliated with the Skrull empire.

Oh, I vote for the Absorbing Man, by the way.

Paibok I didn't know about and I forgot about Apox, but he doesn't count anyway since he's from the MC2 future, which is just an alternate, What If? reality.
