Not necessarily, even if Rogue was able to get close enough to touch Storm she wouldn't be able to handle the package that comes with it. Storm has spent years upon years learning how to control her elemental abilites, and if a raw force, like Rogue, acquired such emense power with little to no training over such a powerful force, she might just ware herself out without Ororo having to lift a single finger:o

My vote goes to Storm btw. I mean come on, she kicked Wonder Woman's @ss for crying out loud!:pBut don't forget that Rogue also gains the memories of the people that she touches as well.

Well, my pick is Daredevil.
He is similar to Spider-Man, except for the super strength and agility. But he is more trained than Spider-Man. Doc Ock, has no super strength other than his tenticals, and no training.

I'll vote for Dr. Octopus. Without the toughness of Spiderman, Daredevil is down once those tentacles hits him. Spiderman still gets hit even with his spidersense, so Daredevil's enhanced senses will still not help him avoid Doc Ock's tentacles for long.

Dr. Octupus - if he can fight against Spiderman who has superspeed and superstrength, he should be able to take daredevil. Of course, if they ever did do battle in the comics DD would win because he is the hero....

In any case, this pretty much sums up what I was thinking. DD is one skilled son of a gun but he's just outdone in this contest with too many variables set against him. The good Doctor more than holds his own against Peter who's smarter, faster, stronger, and more agile than Matt. Cool match though.

In battle the two seem pretty evenly matched. Daredevil is a highly trained fighter, quicker than most, with extra sensory abilities. And while Doc Ock isn't a trained fighter or as fast as Daredevil his tenticals are super strong and fast and can reach very far.
Doc Ock has been on the loose for some time, Daredevil payed him no mind until he came into Hell's Kitchen.
The fight is brutal, Doc Ock shows no mercy and Daredevil arrogantly thought it wouldn't be much of a match.
As much as he bobs and weaves, and tries to avoid the tenticals, he is eventually hit more than once.
But Daredevil refuses to give up, eventually their fight is noticed by the city. And the cops arrive.
Their sirens forces Doc Ock to flee, while a very beaten Daredevil runs off too.
Later on, after dealing with Spider-Man, Ock is captured by the police.

At Doc Ock's criminal trial he is prosecuted by Matt Murdock and sent to prison for a double life sentance.

Siryn fairly easily. Through most of her history she was fairly weak although she gradually got stronger. With hypnosis, sonic lance, vibratory shield,and near invisibility Siryn has more than enough options at her disposal to defeat Polaris.

He did an experiment on himself to get rid of his mutation(the way he looks in the card is the way he was born, he didint want big hands and feet) but it turned him blue and hairy

Beast, he is not only adgile but insanely smart.
Like they said in Ultimate X-Men (and I think it applies to regular Beast too) he reads so fast he can't turn the pages quick enough.
He could formulate a plan after a few seconds into the fight. Plus he is stronger and faster than she is.
Plus he is just a better character to me, more interesting.

Sneaky! So many varibles to this one. Is this the hulk who gets stronger when he gets madder? Is this the Hulk with Banners intellect? Does Thor have his belt of stregth? Does he sucomb to the warriors madness?

Fist to fist I would give the edge to Hulk cuase that's how marvel usualy portrays them but with the hammer and all his godly powers Thor should win.

If Thor uses his powers intelligently, he should win. He's just got too many options. If all else fails, just strand the Hulk in another dimension (like he's done against Juggernaut). If Thor fights stupidly and just dukes it out with Hulk (as he's done all too frequently), then he'd probably lose.

Hulk is just as he was created, and that's to work in 1 dimension: Strength. Thor has more avenues for attack and more importantly: defense. Thor has and can overcome raw power which is what Hulk is. Going all out, Thor has 2 ways to win this: Use the hammer to knock Hulk out before he can get angry enough to do real damage, a method that has been used and proved successful by Juggernaut. And then he could use his hammer for teleportation purposes, which effectively ends this as well.

That's kind of a variable thing. The Silver Surfer can take down the Hulk simply by subtracting the gamma energy from the Hulk, where Thor is around Hulk's level. But a Godblast would flatten the Hulk, and Thor definitely wouldn't be afraid to put Hulk down if need be.

Thor has done the same including one time when the Hulk with Banners intelect was among them.

Marvel never really sets one character too far apart from everyone else. Any time Thor, Hulk, Hercules, surfer, or any other Marvel power house goes against another they've always gone toe to toe with each other and each has had thier share of wins and losses. For the purposes of this thread we have to look at what each one brings to the table and make an educated guess at who would win if there was one final everything on the line battle and they were pulling out all the stops. In this case I just think Thor has too many options at his disposal for the Hulk to overcome.

Why is it that people assume that the person with more weapons or tricks is the victor? as strong as Thor is, the Savage Hulk is already as strong as Thor and will get strongger as the fight goes on. as dumb as the Hulk is at this form everyone knows that to pick a fight with him is almost suicidal.

Because Thor is written as ungodly strong often enough. Class 100 strength, flight, ability to negate magic, godly endurance, controls the weather, and so on and so on. Picking a fight with him is normally just a bad bad idea. But if Iron Man can single handedly defeat Hulk, I'm fairly sure Thor can too.

I had the comicbook special of this fight where thor and the savage hulk pounced and pummeled each other but hulk was losing the first round then hulk told thor that he was only good in fighting because of his hammer so thor threw his hammer away. The hulk beat up thor badly after that. The hulk stopped the fight because thor's hammer returned and that ended the fight with hulk bragging about thor's loss.

With this i still say i go with thor because this match-up is no holds barred, everything goes with hammer and all and hulk can't even touch him with that hammer around.

Yes, Thor can definitely hurt Hulk, but Hulk can also hurt Thor, and Hulk will just heal all his injuries right there and then while Thor's mystical energies takes some time to heal him completely. And don't tell that Thor will win by removing Hulk from the battlefield. I don't consider that winning a fight. Thats called AVOIDING a fight.

In the comics Thor rarely ever goes all out. Hulk on the other hand is too stupid to show restraint. Especially savage hulk. Plus he's extremely one dimensional in his abilities so it's not like he's got many options held back.

If they were to fight and Thor went all out and was using his powers he'd win for sure. Most of the time he holds his own against the hulk even though he's "playing fair" and taking the fight to hulk close up.

If he wanted to he could just hammer the hulk with tornadoes that suck the air from his lungs, blast him with lightning bolts the size of tree trunks. Blind him with sleet and fog and such and wail on him with the hammer at his weak points. Etc Etc. Or he could use some of the even cheaper tactics like teleport him into a star or possibly drain the gamma power from him reverting him to banner. (Mjolnir has energy absorbing abilities but i'm not sure whether it would work on banner).

Either way a guy with millennia of combat experience AND physical abilities on par with the Hulk should be winning every time.
Thor has absolutely EVERY advantage that counts. Hulk may be stronger but that isnt anywhere near enough to overcome the odinson.

Hulk doesn't so much survive the force from a nuclear explosion as much as absorb it into himself. That's more or less feeding him.


And it's been shown he can survive the vaccuum of space, and doesn't need air.

He didn't defeat Gladiatior he got one good shot in and knocked him down once. He didn't hurt him at all. The X-Men arrived and stopped the fight. This fight would probably be a draw but Colossus would have the edge so I will choose him. Sam needs to keep moving to keep up his shield. Stop him even briefly and he is vulnerable. Colossus has similar invulnerability without the limitation and greater strength.

You're WAY overestimating Cannonball. Knock Colossus out with one strike? Are you kidding? Colossus has taken multiple blows from Gladiator without being knocked out. And trust me, Gladiator packs a lot more of a punch than Cannonball.

(Incidentally, Cannonball never knocked Gladiator out. He knocked him down for about five seconds, after which Gladiator was completely unhurt. And the only way he did it was by absorbing Gladiator's own attack and reflecting it back at him. And even that only worked because he temporarily shook Gladiator's confidence, and his level of power waxes and wanes with his confidence level.)

If Cannonball hit Juggernaut, he'd bounce off. Cannonball is invulnerable, not unstoppable. Whereas Juggernaut (at least at his classic powerlevel) is more invulnerable, and unstoppable.

Colossus is no Juggernaut, but still . . . it'd be a long fight, since Colossus is basically indestructible, and Cannonball is basically indestructible when blasting.

But ultimately, I think Colossus would win.

I dont think Cannonball packs enough punch to bring Collossus down.
Although to be fair he does have a hell of a lot more speed and maneuverability, also flyers always have a big advantage over non flyers.
Even so I'm still inclined to vote for Collossus. If he manages to get ahold of Sam or Pins him down or whatever he could take him out. It's just a matter of wearing Sam down.

Sam would have to use hit and run tactics but he wouldnt last long enough to make it work. Collossus has a hell of a lot more stamina than Sam does.

I vote Colossus. I suppose Colossus could just move out of the way when he hears him coming and whack him over the head with a piece of wall when CB powers down. Colossus could just hide out until Sam powers down. I mean CB is only invulnerable when he's blasting so after he powers down he could be taken down pretty quickly.
