I figured the fact that Bill's powers are magical in nature would help. Machine characters tend to have trouble adapting to or copying magical powers, since they're not really rooted in the laws of reality.

Depends on the rules but i'll have to go with nimrod. If beta doesn't destroy nimrod quick i think nimrod will adjust. Nimrod can take some damage teleport away fix himself adjust his fighting and if he has 2 do it agian he will only become stronger and more able to destroy beta.

I'd easily say theres no way for Nimrod to destroy BRB, in Betas nost recent mini his done some incredible stuff. Acually denting Galactuss armor, fighting a very powerful herald of Gal. to a stand still, theres more but on those 2 things alone I'd say his very much capable of beating a Nimrod.

I didn't think these fights were multiple round fights, in that case anyone could win any fight if they have time to recover and go back after the person. I look at them like throw these 2 charcters somewhere and let them go at it, and in that case BRB would smash Nimrod. Yes Nimrod would rebuild but that means it's a different fight.

Cannonball's probably almost as fast as Quicksilver when he's flying, so I doubt it'd be hard to hit him. Plus he's got his blast field, so I think the real question would be whether Quicksilver could hit Cannonball and make it count at all. Plus, as others have mentioned, Cannonball learned how to manipulate his blast field better, so he can point it in other directions and stuff like that. If this were the Flash instead of Quicksilver, I could see the argument, but Quicksilver's always been kind of a second-rate speedster.

Good point, i had forgot about Sam using his powers in other ways than the usual.

One point about Quicky...I haven't been keeping up with him lately, but didn't he get a power boost recently?

Not recently, it was way back in his post-Onslaught series. The High Evolutionary's Isotope E gave him a vaguely defined boost. They never clarified just how much faster he'd become or anything.

From what I understand he can run at several times the speed of sound.

Beyond that he not only moves fast but thinks equally fast.

Add to this training by Magneto, Prof X, Captain America. and it becomes obvious that QS would win.

As I originally said Sam would probably win in the future but it wouldn't be a sure thing.

In all probability if Sam expanded his blast feild QS could move with it just as fast and not suffer the effects of the impact

well i kind of exaggerated that but read this:

Siryn has the advantage of being able to strike from a distance, but I think if Wolfsbane actually managed to bring it to hand to hand fighting, she would kick Siryn's ass. I do like Siryn, but I think Wolfsbane is the way better fighter so she gets my vote.

Siryn can fly, also Wolfsbane like a wolf has hyper sensitive hearing. This means Siryn, who already does damage to normal humans, would do much more damage to Wolfsbane's hearing, and could probably render her unconscious fairly quickly

Mystique .... Domino has become such a weak character ... just like most of the characters from X-Force. In fact, she seems more of a sidekick. And, when she was at her best, it wasn't even her...it was the gal the changed into her to fool Cable.


BTW, on the previous, I would pick Siryn, too. And, I know we just saw her recently; but, the last storyline I remember about her was when she blew out her voice for the longest time, and I don't ever remember her recovering from that. Was this a dropped storyline, or did I just miss something???

Hmmmm....good one here........I'm gonna go with Domino...since Mystique's morphing abilities will do her no good in this fight, so it comes down to who is the better fighter, armed and unarmed. Domino always carries a variety of weapons with her and is trained in armed and unarmed combat, and mystique doesn't always carry weapons with her and while she is trained in unarmed combat i don't believe it was as extensive as Domino's training...and i believe that Domino is the better fighter between them, plus Domino's power to affect probability, basically giving her good luck and her opponents bad luck will give her the edge.

Well, mystique can't really change her musculature, but she migh get some degree of added strength with a larger form, due to greater mass, but it would be proportionate, not superhuman, I think. She can turn into the Hulk, but she can't copy his powers. Domino has super-luck powers, which might come in handy in any situation she might encounter. She's fought Deadpool before, so that aughtta count for somethin'...

Mystique can change her size, but not her mass, so if she shrinks, it would appear to be enhanced strength because she is throwing the same mass in a smaller volume (physics 101). also, Mystique has displayed the ability to change her skelatal structure (in Mystique Vol. 1, she grows a second face and two extra arms.)

Mystique, however, is limited by her inability to diminish or increase her own mass at will. As a result, while she can make herself look exactly like a person who is physically bigger than herself, she will not weigh as much as the real person does. Although she can maintain the form of a person of her height, weight, and build indefinitely (as with her own appearance as Raven Darkholme), the longer that she maintains the form of a person physically bigger than herself, the greater the strain she feels. If she maintains that bigger form for too long a period, the length of which is directly proportional to the difference in size between that form and her normal one, she will collapse and automatically revert to her normal form.


She can become physically bigger but she doesn't get any stronger, she stays at the same strength level that she had in her regular form...and it is harder for her to keep a larger form, since she has to concentrate to keep that form, and to be honest IMO I don't think she is a better fighter, here is a little about domino:


Strength level: Athlete

Fighting skills: Extensive training in various armed combat techniques and the martial arts

Special skills and abilities: Superb marksman with various firearms, highly skilled athlete, excellent swimmer, adept in use of explosives

Known superhuman powers: Domino's mutant ability appears to be some kind of psionic control over probability, thus causing her to have "good luck" and her opponents to have "bad luck," but the ability has yet to be fully measured or explained.

Special weaponry: Staff that fires unspecified ammunition, can be used for balance when jumping, is equipped with sensors.

P.s.s To be honest i have never seen Mystique shrink, at least not to my recollection(could be wrong here, haeven't kept up with her), but even if she has there are other heros out there that do shrink that do give the illusion of greater strength the way you describe, such as Wasp, Antman, etc....(at least I dont think they do) But I do know what you are talking about with same mass in a smaller form, but i don't think it would work with mystique.

Vindrow, on the opposite side of the coin, if she morphs smaller, not only does she have a psycological advantage (awww look at the little kitty), she will also have the advantage of having proportional super strength.(her own strength level in a body that should have it.) Imagine your two year old sister all of a sudden decking you like your twenty year old martial artist brother. same force, but that little fist will do more damage to your jaw.

He wouldn't spout rocket launchers on his back or anything. The only way he gets the powers is if they're intrinsic to the material, like the magic properties of Thor's uru hammer or the energy manipulating abilities of Quasar's quantum bands.

That said, I'd still go for Absorbing Man.

The original one was around during WWII, and the son, Helmut Zemo, is around now. He led the Thunderbolts for a while. I don't know if there are any more, but those 2 are the ones I've heard about.

I vote for the Red Skull. Zemo's basically a poor man's Red Skull anyway. :p

Her metabolism is also superior to human, approximating the difference between human and earthly avian metabolisms, giving her approximately a twenty times greater endurance level than a human being. Frequently able to work herself up to a berserker frenzy, Deathbird's equivalent adrenal system is capable of prolonging her endurance even beyond that of her normal superhuman limits.
Deathbird's wings, which span 18 feet, enable her to fly like a bird in level flight, at a maximum speed through an Earth-type atmosphere of 63 miles per hour. Because of her alien metabolism, she can remain aloft for up to 6 hours before exhausting her body's fatigue poisons elimination ability (an additional 14 hours with a high-energy food supply) and somewhat less if she is carrying a load or exerting herself. She can bear aloft approximately 290 pounds, providing she can grasp the object or person with her feet (her arms, of course, are used to fly). She is capable of flying at any height at which she is still able to breathe. The feathers in the dorsal primary and secondary areas of both wings each have very sharp, spur-like vanes capable of inflicting light lacerations.
Deathbird also possesses talon-like fingernails of extraordinary tensile strength. She can use them to slice through wood, glass, and to score steel.


I know this fight could go either way, and Warbird has more physical strength, but I still think Deathbird woudl put up a hella awesome fight. She is an awesome warrior, and she is ruthless and cunning.

I know what Deathbird's capable of. Warbird's just a lot more powerful. She was one of the Avengers' resident powerhouses.

Warbird. it sounds like she has turning speed on her side seeing as she uses fifth force flight methods. thus she would be able to tire out Deathbird, force her to exert herself. also it has been stated she has a higher strength level than Deathbird.

I read this theory once by scientists who believed they found a fifth force that works exactly counter to gravity (the original four being Strong, weak, Nuclear, and Gravity). he described this as the kind of thing Super-Man would use to fly. its a personal term but it might have caught on in one or two places. this mysterious theoretical "fifth force" pushes a person away rather than pulling them towards.

I call any one flying without telekineisis or wings or some other explainable method (IE: Warbird, Super-Man, Rogue, Northstar, Etc.) that they are using the "Fifth force flying method"
