As for the sketch, the reason why Parker does not have arms...
1. Because they're harder to create.
2. I was going for the Juliard effect with this concept.

dear god... that bust is ugly! I hope Venom looks NOTHING like it! I've always been partial to Bagley's styling of Venom, rather than the "Juggernaut with-teeth-and-tongue" version. Bagley's version looks like he could stay toe-to-toe with Spidey in a fight, but still very muscular. Athletic, not a muscle freak.

Thanks. I did this several months ago, when the first pic of Peter opening his shirt & showing the black suit appeared. I noticed the difference in the spider emblems and figured that Raimi would use the new design for the black costume on Venom as well, but exaggerated, so I enlarged the spider. While The Green Goblin looked nothing like his comic counterpart, Doc Ock looked good, and I figured ugly creepy things is right up Raimi's alley, so figured Venom's face would remain largely unchanged, but added the web pattern anyway. Also, it's kinda hard to see in the scaled down pic posted, but there are scale patterns in the costume, like there is in the Spidey-suits, and like the pic of Eddie being slimed show. Man, I wish I woulda posted this sooner, I coulda been hailed for my future predicting skills! LOL.... hmmmm... now about them lotto numbers.... :spidey:

Thats in the 818 universe. In the Ultimate universe they are both from Peter parker's DNA, making the venom suit and the carnage suit literal brothers. Given that the movies are going in the Ultimate Order and have plot lines vaguely reminiscent of ultimate ones, then i figured it was safe to put the word brothers there.

and by the way fireflyman, people who live in glass houses ought not throw stones -- the word is 'symbiote'; or conversely, 'symbiont'

And for the second manip...hmmmm.Maybe try using the "clone tool" a bit better.Try not to make it so obvious that you used it.Same with the "liquify effect".

I think the problem is that people are just "cloning" the same spot of symbiote over and over again.It starts to look really grainy and makes Venom look like a stuco-wall.The trick to using the "clone tool" is to not make it obvious that you've duplicated the same spot.

But Sting2kx....that looks pretty cool.:up:

you should cover up the hair though, it just pops out right at you. and you should make this carnage not venom. I suspect you got the skill to make that carnage, by making some of the strands red and some brownish black or something. but that is how carnage should look!
