I use both a mouse and a tablet--tablet for the more broader stuff, mouse for the smaller details (like the veins on Venom's body, or his teeth). I didn't use any special brushes or filters on the main coloring part, per se--Spider-man and Venom are just painted using the various colors I've chosen.

I'm not very good at tutorials--you might want to search someone else out for that.
