The Spider-Man 3 Fan Art and Manips Thread [Merged]

Hey I know I'm gonna get stick when I post it, but I'm gonna anyway, cos it's my idea, and I haven't submit anything on here yet. I've done a pic of Brock with the Symbiote dripping onto him, with some of venom being revealed onto him. The difference being it's done in my own pseudo-manga chibi style. Now I've just started drawing in this style so I'm ready for the stick I may or may not get from it, hence why I'm posting this before hand. I'm gonna do a full Venom pic in this style too, just so you guys can see what he'll look like in my style.

Just compairing the webbing pattern and eyeshape on venoms head in that pic with the mask sculpt from the master replicas leak, and the concept sketch...

Either someone has a really good eye for detail, or that pic is our first legit full shot of venom.

(if you boost the gamma on it too, youl notice venom has a purple tinge, too... which If i remember was mentioned in one of those early Q&As)

Well... I'm really hoping that that Venom pic is our first look to what he'll look like in the movie, but due to the sheer brilliance of it I'm more inclined to think that it could be fan-art.... But in case that's real then:

The quality is extremely good on those, leading me to believe that it's probably not fan-made, or if it is, it's by an extremely talented fan, hah.

There's something about them that make me think they have some relation to the game perhaps. It's really good quality, but they look more video game oriented to me.

i agree they are very cool and quite a good job, but i have to go with fan made, if you just look at it very intensely you will notice many little things. for one, the scale of the webbing/cells seems off just a little bit, leading me to believe it was photoshoped from the trailer. the mouth also is not to the same detailed level as the rest. his back left foot (right in the pciture) and right forearm are obviously copied and pasted webbing into the zone of the foot and arm; if you look at his chest and zoom on the emblem it doesnt form to his body at all,and finally the SAME glare is found repeatedly all voer his body, further bringing proof to a photoshop job.

i ONLY say that to state that i believe it is fanmade, i am not discrediting the fan/artist at all, it is EXCELLENT work by all means, major props to them. good job!

still possible that it was a rush job by someone working with sony to get a mockup of what the toy or video game should be, as has been suggested
the same way that the other 2 pics look good but are obviously not the characters in the movie, but may by pretty much exactly how they'll look

you have to take into consideration the dancing venom and the other pics made by that guy. Those didn't look photoshopped either. This very well might be real though. And I got a feeling that it is, but it's not a for sure thing of course.

I know everyone wants to think that these are legit but all they seem to be talking about is Venom. Clearly these are done by the same person and the first two don't looks as official. Sandman doesn't even look like THC. They are very impressive but I don't think they are official.

Spider-man 3 Brushstrokes

you must do the following:

A) Post a "resume" of sorts. Either state how you are helpful to members of this board, post some images that you have made, or (somehow) prove that you have worked hard on an image.

B) We do not recruit! If you want to be in, ask Jubba, Joe Kerr, or Myself. PM any of us. If you ask on the thread, we will not consider you... trust me, this may sound crazy, but given the amount people post on this, the thread gains a page or two a day, we would inevitably miss people, and feelings would get hurt. We don't want that! We will then talk about whether you should be admitted. However if you haven't shown us what you've done, how can we admit you?? Hence, step A is extremely important!!


We are a group that has been made to illustrate to other members of the hype just how cool this tightly knit group of artists is!
