Um windows has a screen saver program like that but, it's for pics. I've put pics in a folder that I'd want on the screen saver. I don't think there's a Wall paper program for that.

That's exactly what my screen saver is actually. I have hundreds of Ghost Rider images saved on the PC. It's nice to go away from the computer and come back a a random one of those.

Would be nice to find a wallpaper one like that though.

Anyhoo, the boot looks much better. I think the hands look a little silly because they are cartoony when the bike is real. The match isn't there or something.

Yeah it's too bad we don't have some less blurry shots for you to work with. I mean, those wallpapers are pretty awesome... but out of focus.

I'm actually trying to work out a way to make a plastic chain look like it coming at you ( Like in the footage ), just need to figure out how to make the chain stay in possition while I take a picture.

Good use of lightning to highligh the first links. The first one doesn't seems linked to the others, and could be bigger/lighter/more in prospective, but it's good.

Well the closest thing on the chain is that cylindrical piece. I'm trying to figure out how to make it look better. I'll try tonight again.

Uhmm nice. Not perfect but now it's recognizable as a cilynder because of the reflexes.
You could try to lift the closest end of it a bit, to include its base in the picture, where you could put the medallion symbol...glowing evil:D
But still, very good effect.
Ah, a little reinforcement on the edges between each link could work i think... nothing big, just completing the already existing yellowish lines.

Nice Job Vartha! I dont' know **** about makin' these things so I can't give you the feedback that Invictus can but I can certainly tell you that I like what your workin' on. The only negative thing I have to say is that I'm not a fan of the Font... but that's just my personal preferance.

Thanks guys, FH I'd use a different font, but, I don't have anything close to GR's logo, (comic), other than what was on the site And the spookiest font I have just doesn't look right (looks too corny), so, I used the tv show Roar's font.
I wish I had enough plastic chain to make the whole chain go across in the background from one side to the other.
I had to thread an open clothes hanger through the chain to get the "movement" of the chain, and hang the chain from the ceiling to take a picture.
The end of the cilynder might be a problem, since the plastic tube is actually a foot long.
I've used 3 different programs to make this paper. One to edit the photos, one to apply a metal effect to the plastic, and yet another for the 3d effect on the font.
I'll make the links of the chain look seperate, but, the cilynder will have to stay as is for now. :D

Marvel.com have a very nice Ghost Rider wallpaper taken from the new series out in September. You'll have to register to download it first though.

That dodad looks like a Mace... which is pretty cool. Seems they are keeping updating his weaponry... but keeping it midevil, which I like.

This one is for Flame Head, I found a font that is close to a GR look but the rest of this paper hasn't changed.
I wanted the font to look like heat was close to the font what do you think?

Nice job on the 3D Reptile! One thing tho, I was taught to avoid facing characters looking off the page when they are on the side like that. If you have a character on the side of the page, always have them facing toward the center.
A cool font for Ghost Rider is called, "Low Rider" that's the font I used in the papper above.

Hmmm... why is it that you don't have then facing off the page? What's the reason for that?

When you have a character facing off the page, it gives the impression the character is ignoring you, that's fine if that's what you intended to do, but, in this case GR should be looking toward the center of the page.

This also applies to comic books. The way Reptile has GR facing, GR would be facing the binding of the book. You want to have the character facing toward the center because that is where the action or focus of a picture or drawing should be.
In Reptile's paper the focus should be toward the center, giving the illusion that GR could be coming toward you, not away from you.

This even applies to objects. If you look at the picture of the Hellcycle, the "head light" section of the bike is facing toward you and it's at the center of the page.

Wildcard's wallpaper does this too. GR's bike is facing off the page, but, GR himself is facing toward the center.
Another thing is, we read from left to right, notice how GR in the Wall paper from Marvel is facing that direction? If you look at many comic book covers, the main character will be moving left to right, because that's the direction the opening of the comic book is, inviting you to open the comic.
My wall paper with the chain would be coming out of the book, making you want to open the book to see who has the chain.

Yeah, I went to the Joe Kubert school. Both Adam and Andy Kubert were in my class, and Jim Balent sat right behind me, we used to talk about WereWolf by night, Man-thing, just about all the Marvel monsters :D.

nope reality, before I went to the Kubert School, I went to the Acadamy of Art in Chicago, I had a teacher who wanted a water color done of anything we wanted to do as long as we could find a picture for reference.

Well I drew Spider-Man on a wall and He said I couldn't use it, I told him that I could find a picture of Spider -man on a wall, he said proove it. Well at the time the Spidey tv series was on and all sorts of Stunt articals were in magazines about it, and one was of the stunt guy on a wall in the spidey costume. :D

Well the teacher was pissed that I found one and had to allow me to do the painting.
Later that day, Alex Ross (who was 2 years ahead of me at the art school) came down and shook my hand for sticking up for super heros and going to all the trouble for what I believed in. :up:

A few things I've learned tho is, keeping a 1/4 to 1/2 inch space at the bottom if you plan on putting words down there, otherwise the taskbar at the bottom of the screen will cover it.
The other thing was keeping any images away from the far left where desktop shortcuts are normally. When the wallpaper is dark it really doesn't matter, but, if you have a brightly colored background it makes the words for the shortcuts hard to read.
By the way FH I'm trying to use one of the Images from your figure as a wallpaper. :D

The latest wallpaper is better than my first but, I'm still not happy with it. It doesn't look very good when you use it as a wallpaper actually... but still, not bad for a second try. I also forgot the advice you gave earlier about not havin' the character look off the page like that. He should be lookin' towards the center.

I'm gonna try some more later using some comic images instead of movie.

Ah it's easy to fix GR, just select him and use a mirror effect on him and set him back on the paper.
The good thing about this move is I only took what was needed, I'm staying with my parents for now, so, I really don't need much with me. The only reasons I brought my computor, is because mine has a web cam, and all my art, pictures, and projects on it, thiers don't.

I'd forgotten about that pic. I haven't looked at it since MSJ's last comments. It's reminded me of what he said regarding the hellfire's effect on weapons and clothes.
