Your so automatic with it you cant stop.
Actually, I'm bored and getting ready to retire. So you're here for my amusement until then.
Now, while it's true I "can't stop", the question of the moment is when are you going to start??

Ok how bout this. If Halle has been so cinsistant in her acting why is it she never won before? Why is it she was recognized accordingly for her ability in a movie that just so happened to have her in a graphic sex scene when she has been so consistant with her other roles with no sex scene? enlighten me.

Why does this thread always have to get so dirty? It seems that sometimes people aren't happy unless they're putting some one and their opinians down. I'm all for an intelligent debate but when that turns into an argument and that argument turns into childish bickering it just get's old and tired. Because all this that you all are going on about has already been gone on about for the last 118 pages. I suggest you all go through them, cuz I'm seeing a lot of unnesessary repetition.

Are you being facetious? :o
Halle had won many awards for other films. Her being decorated for her dramatic portrayals has been consistent over the years. If my memory serves me right, she was very briefly shown nude in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge as well (her character was found dead in that condition). But then again, that was a made-for-TV film--for which she won an Emmy.
And she's had other love and nudity scenes. True, her scene in Monster's Ball was especially controversial because it pushed the envelope--it was one of those throat-clearing, leg-crossing poignant moments. But more than that, it was a very emotionally charged scene, it wasn't just about lusty sex, it was about two very lost people in emotional need. Just because it was a sexually charged scene didn't make it any less powerful. Sex is a normal function of life--and people can identify with that scene.
Is that a bad thing? Or are you cheapening her win?
So in other words, it's not like Halle was not being recognized for her works prior to 2002. She definitely was already on the map and coming down many a Red carpet. What is your point?

Are you comparing winning an emmy to winning an oscar? thats like comparing winning a division title to the superbowl. So its just coincidental that she wont the BIG award only after having this sex scene? Im glad you read so far into the scene being powerful but others just see it as her having doggie style sex. Thats was what put her win over the top, without that she would not have won just like she didnt win before that.

Fine. Here we go: You feel Monster's Ball sucked? Okay. But guess what? That's also your opinion--which doesn't translate to "she was unworthy" in a factual sense.
Now here's now opinions vs. facts work my dear: Apparently, the Academy, the critics and mass audience's opinions disagreed with yours. Their opinions carried a different level of weight in that decision-making and box office process. So somewhere in all that, she was awarded that Oscar. That's a fact. Plain and simple. You're obivoulsy joking, right? The fact is that their opinion differed from mine, but the bigger fact is that opinions, no matter who they come from, are still opinions and are never facts. That wasn't an argument on opinions versus facts, that was an argument on opinions of the average person versus the opinions of Hollywood, neither of which constitute facts, my dear. Acting is alwasy a subjective matter and never a matter of facts. She won that award, but the fact is she won because they thought she deserved it, not necessarily because she did deserve it. Otherwise, you are saying one opinion is a fact just because you agree with it, and the other is just an opinion because you disagree.
And it certainly was not contingent on her prior works, and that was hardly my point. You say she did nothing special in MB--I'm saying she has been consistent in the dramatic genre from the beginning. Now, what is factual is that Hollywood was acknowledging her work in Monster's Ball--and whether you and I think that "work" was deserving or lackluster is irrelevant. At the end of the day, they thought it was.And again, just because they thought it was deserving an Oscar doesn't mean that it was. Again, don't pass off an opinion as a fact just because you agree with it.

Fellas, Fellas. Let us quit with the bickering already. Some people like Halle, some don't. Deal. Move on. Let's get the thread back on topic without reducing it to arguments. here is a FACT for all of you though...Halle Berry is currently filming X-Men 3 as STORM. Whether some like it or not. and X-Men 3 is going to rule them all!

i can understand if people think she's not the best actress because she's somewhat inconsistent in her work. she ranges from good dramatic actress to awkward mediocre actress, depending on the movie.
what i HATE though is the argument that the sex scene in monster's ball won her the oscar. that is the quintessential example of the media's attempt to discredit females in movies. whenever an actress moves from light fare to serious work, the term "whoring out herself" always seems to come about. said actress can only be taken seriously if she gets nekkid. and so when an actress does a movie with a racy scene, that's the only possible explanation for the accolades that come out of it.
what everyone seems to forget is that oscars are completely incosistent as well. they're a good gauge for determining who are good actors/actresses. but they dont represent a person's best work, for the most part. denzel washington is a good example.
saying that halle didnt win for losing isaiah, but did for monster's ball is in no way proof that it was due to the sex scene. that is the stupidsit ***** i've ever heard.

I already knew Demon Within (but no brain within) was a troll with nothing much to say, I already knew non-Almighty Pejo doesn't like Halle's acting, so why did the carousel of melodrama come rolling back round again?
Halle has such power, that's for sure. Even the negative stuff shows an obsession with her and that's really amusing for her to have such power over people to get them so worked up and studying every move she makes. As I said before, it's like she has sliced off their balls and is wearing them as earrings. If I really didn't like something, I sure as hell wouldn't let it preoccupy my mind and consume my soul as much as that.

What get people going with this Berry stuff is that she now has an overrated position due to her Oscar.
Many people see her as a passing or bad actress (me included, with no hate nor love for her from my part), and don't like that the industry follow just the award, giving her roles she was not made for (like Storm), et coetera.
Having said that, there are very conservative and prejudiced remarks on her sex scene all the time it is mentioned. People assume a very old-fashioned moralistic persona to badmouth a scene like that.
And that's simply wrong (and can get worse as arguments mount).
Berry is Storm again. It is a fact. And everybody (I suppose) is hoping to see if all she said about getting a better script and better lines will come true, id est, to have a much improved Storm (including a decent wig, like HexualCirce explained so very well).

I agree. There is a lot of judgment on Halle's personal character being passed around...and yet the people who are throwing the stones are in many cases not the most moral-driven individuals themselves. Yet they want to blast a performance that covers an element of everyday humanity (sexual and interracial relationships).
It's hypocrisy at its finest.

Pejo, reread your statements: each of your responses thusfar have been nothing more than rehashed spin-doctored aims at my personal opinion, when that is not what is on trial here. You've chosen to spend more time trying to dismiss my posts because of what you THINK I believe about Halle, instead addressing the crux of the matter itself. If you've noticed, I haven't gone for your jugular regarding your personal feelings for the actress. Instead, I have stuck to the facts as they've come from objective removed sources.
So I tell you what Pejo: When you are ready to discuss this without purposely missing my point we can resume okay?

I'm not a hair expert either, but I am a man of colour. That said, I do know that African American's have to be careful in stripping their dark hair to a light spectrum of that level. Do to its texture, our hair can be fragile and will break off due to heavy damage. While some black people are able to dye their tresses blond, often such ones keep their hair very short because the ends break. To acheive some length some opt to wear blond extensions.
Halle has shoulder-length hair so I'm doubt she'd be willing to ruin it over one role.
By the way, this hair damage deal is not exclusive to African Americans. It can affect peoples of all races depending on their hair texture. Notable stars i.e. Kim Basinger and recently Jessica Alba have had to chop their styles very short due to excessive bleaching for certain roles.

GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Halle Berry won an Oscar because she deserved to win it.
Every actor has his/her bad movie projects (just like every human being stuffs up) - that's life and part of growing. If no one did, they'd be perfect. No one's perfect, so get your heads out of the clouds and realise that celebrities are all about perspective (it's not real!). They're still people, like you and me.
Let's talk about Storm, the character, and about what we'd like to see happen, and get excited about it. Instead of *****ing about how Halle doesn't deserve this and that and is wrong for the part - GET OVER YOURSELVES!

It's not about technique DW, it's about physics.
Remember, for most African Americans, our hair is curly, kinky, wavy or a combination of those descriptions. Now for a woman like Halle, she would have to either press (flat iron) or put a relaxing agent in her hair to get it bone-straight. On a chemical level, these agents break down the pep bonds in the hair which results in serious damage. Now, when you are radically lightening the hair from dark brown/black to white you are heaping on even greater damage which would result in thinning and breakage.
So no matter how good the stylist may be, the hair will have the same reaction to the chemicals they are using...thereby ruining her hair quality. For that reason, they opted for a wig.
Besides, wigs give a certain level of fullness that natural hair doesn't. That's why Famke and Hugh also wear them as "Jean" and "Wolverine".

Apparently you didn't get it...
Halle risks serious if not permanent damage to her hair if she strips/dyes it to white/silver. It's not a matter of someone being good enough to do it, just the process of getting to that color is inherently dangerous to her hair.

Unlike every other comic character he made his own stuff, has no powers(besides mystics which they left out anyway) and only real talent is super smart. Thats about as real as it gets but instead they go reverse and make him what he was...organic metal with powers.

Well, considering that F4 dropped a few months ago, that's hardly surprising. There isn't as much to talk about. And I suspect, that some (including myself) are burned out over that film...for me it was a dissapointing, bittersweet experience and I know many share those sentiments. But once production starts to ramp up for the sequel I'm sure we'll all return there and start over again.
Hopefully FOX will learn from these mistakes.

That reminds me of one of the few things I've ever agreed with over at AICN. Harry said that he was glad it opened well enough to guarentee it a sequel, but dropped enough so that those involved know that they have plenty of mistakes that need to be corrected.

Agreed F4 was a dissapointment.F4 couldve easily(and I say this honestly) surpased the Spider-man films.I think with a visionary(like me ;)) it could've looked so cool. Also the movie skips many crucial elements that not only solves the plot holes but would make the film so much cooler. And IMO,Thing looked terrible...they should've went CGI.

Considering the material and this goes for most comic movies, there seems to be a lack of creativity. Theres really no visual flair or anything that makes them stand out except for the characters alone. To me there just isnt enough creativity. Not enough of those scenes that you saw in comics and were like man id like to see that in a movie. Theres no money shot camera angles or anything beautiful about them just straight up shooting lets watch the characters go.IMO of course.

UPDATE
A poster on the always reliable HNR forums posted the following update on Halle's new boots.
From the HNR forums:
enigma Today, 10:59 PM
One of my friends is building the Golden Gate/ Alcatraz set ( which the crew call "hell") and the rumour is one of the super villians pushes the Golden Gate bridge into Alcatraz. Filming on this set is set for October & November 2005 (Mon-Fri) but I was assured that most of the set will be covered and under very tight security. A friend in sculpting was busy making a foam replica of a "robot/machine" head that gets knocked of and latex boots for Halle...(jealous I am)..I am trying to wrangle a pass to the set...keep fingers & toes crossed.
enigma Today, 11:20 PM
yeah...apparently Halle was laughing and said that was the fastest she had ever seen 4 calm women go to raving lunatics in 30 seconds. Apparently the latex has a 30 second window before it starts to harden into the shape and so they had these 4 women slathering on latex onto halle's feet and legs at great speed......man what a job. indeed Storm has always worn thigh high boots, heels, some kind of highheeled shoe in general. it adds to her imposing stature to make her appeal more regal. where as with Halle it just makes her Storm's natural height.

Well, she wore skintight leather pants and a low-cut top in X1, I don't see that adding a fashion boot is such a departure from that sexy stylish image. And as Storm she wears high-heeled boots in the movies anyway.
Besides, the original comicbook Storm wore them. And in CINO, she wore open-toed sandals which were much more absurd than latex boots could ever be (especially as Pfeiffer's Catwoman wore high-heeled rubber or leather boots). I don't see the problem, whichever way you look at it.
Catwoman originally (movie-wise, in Pfeiffer's acclaimed portrayal) wore high boots, Halle wore high boots as Storm in X and X2, Storm in the comics wears high boots.

Love to see Storm or Thor do that to him.

I think the craze has died down now that we've established what she'll look like. From what I understand, she's supposed to have a very exotic, wild look for this film. And a source told me that she looks really different than she did in the prior films. But of course...he wouldn't give me specifics on WHY she looked different.

Who Does Halle Fancy?
She's one of Hollywood's sexiest stars and could have her pick of leading men. But when it comes to crushes, it's George Clooney who is at the top of Halle Berry's romantic wish-list. The Oscar-winning actress has only met the Ocean's Twelve star at awards parties, but that's not stopped her hoping they'll hook up.
And there we were thinking that A-listers could always swing a meaningful introduction.
"He's got that mysterious quality," swoons Halle.
"You don't know what he's doing, where he is every second, the way you do with all these twenty-somethings."
We wish her lots of luck with distinguished silvering fox George.
Poor Halle has not had much luck when it comes to men.
Her first marriage to baseball star David Justice ended in divorce, and cracks eventually appeared second time around with ex-husband Eric Benet.
Let's hope George takes the hint...

Erm, I didn't care for the latter part of that article that told George to "take a hint." If anyone needs to watch themselves in their choice of mate, it's Halle. It's a documented fact that both of her husbands had major issues: David Justice was a physically abusive man that constantly went "Ike Turner" on Halle, and Eric Benet suffered from a sexual disorder that drove him to sleep around with dozens of women unbeknownst to his wife at one time.
Of course, none of us know all the details of either situation, but from the amount we do know, it's clear she is a bum magnet.

Guys, do you guys really expect Halle to have the accent back in this one? Because unless they make movie-verse Ororo have a secondary mutation that allows her to control her accent at will, it's gonna seem really weird continuity wise for her to have an off/on Kenyan accent.
Lightning Strykez!

I don't know what they are going to do. The accent in X1 didn't bother me as much as others. But now that they've abandoned it totally in X2, I can't see them going back.

Halle Berry's Best Body Secrets
Find out how Halle got in shape for Catwoman
by Lindsey Unterberger
http://a820.g.akamai.net/f/820/822/1d/i.ivillage.com/BS/celebrity_style/emmy2005/best/BS_Berry0905_157.jpg
Even with one of the best bods in Hollywood, Halle Berry still needs help when it comes to staying in superhero shape. Harley Pasternak has gotten the naturally fit star ready for big roles in Gothika, Catwoman and Our Eyes Are Watching God. The two are currently working toward getting her back into superhero form for the upcoming X-Men 3.
Pasternak is the first to admit that Halle, like most of us, isn't a fan of working out. "Halle is amazing," he says. "She's naturally pretty athletic, having been a gymnast when she was younger. She does not like to exercise, but she definitely knows she needs to, and it's a means to an end."
It's hard to believe that someone with a practically flawless physique could dislike working out. But Pasternak says for Halle it's all about the end product. "She has no problem working her butt off as long as she doesn't have to do it for too long, and as long as she sees results."
To keep Halle happy and motivated, Pasternak keeps her workouts short, intense and effective. And even though she always stays on 5-Factor to some extent, Pasternak says her routine changes depending on which movie she's working on at the time. Sometimes she'll be training five days a week for 30 minutes a day, and other times she'll cut it down to three times a week.
"In Catwoman there was a special need for her to be ultra-fit and very lean and very strong," he says. "And in Our Eyes Are Watching God, we had to kind of let it go. You know, really had to let her be less toned and a little looser."
But regardless of what movie Halle's gearing up for, Pasternak says she sticks with the nutrition aspect of 5-Factor. And even though she might be used to playing larger-than-life roles onscreen, Halle needs her "cheat" day just as much as the rest of us mere mortals.
Pasternak wouldn't tell us her weakness, but he admits, "Let's just say Halle enjoys her cheat day." Source: http://diet.ivillage.com/celebprog/0,,87v77k6r,00.html

It might include a total revamp on her character and attitude. Perhaps she'll be more elegant and regal this time around. Or maybe it will mean that she is not as mousy and meek, but a little more forceful and commanding in nature. Obviously she can't do a total 180 degree from the prior film's version of Storm, but we could certainly see a new development in her character arc.
I'm looking forward to it--it's desperately needed.

Well...the first movie had a Magneto origin, a Rogue origin and a set-up/origin for Wolverine...
I hope they do include Storm's origin. As Zak Penn said, she's been under-used and ill-defined and an origin will define who she is and where she is at, why she is what she is. It may only be a mental flashback during thought or dialogue.

X-Men III In Question

Roundtree To Berry: "Shut Yo Mouth"
HOLLYWOOD, CA - With the November 25th release of “X-men 2: X-men United,” fans around the world have been clamoring for news on the release of the third installment of the X-men series. The reality of these hopes however, has long been darkened by problematic ‘Hollywood issues’.
Bryan Singer, the director of the X-men films, recently addressed the specific hindrances of creating the third film. “We can guarantee that many cast members will return to reprise their roles in a third film, but we have had minor issues with some of the actors and actresses. I don’t want to point any fingers, but let’s just say that some guys think that being a wizard means they’re better than Magneto, and some *****es think that just because they win an Academy Award, they’re too A-list to be in X-3.”
Thankfully for X-men fans around the world, it seems that contract negotiations have ironed themselves out, and this reporter has gained some insight into what super hero junkies have in store for them in the next X-men film, coming to theaters in 2006.
“First of all,” said Singer, “we are going to have Storm start a torrid love affair with Magneto, causing him to consider giving up his evil ways and start down a path of redemption. Before Magneto can make his metamorphosis in this direction, Storm converts to Islam and makes a pilgrimage to Africa to return to her tribal roots. When she arrives in the motherland she finds that the country is in the midst of a powerful drought, and she must use her skills to save the continent.”
Singer continued by stating that, “Storm will also change the life of Professor Xavier by having various conversations with him in the course of driving him in the jet. Somewhere in the midst of all this, Dr. Jean Grey will return as Phoenix, and Storm will be the one to discover all this from her new personal base of operations in the Congo.”
Although the majority of X-philes are excited about the upcoming movie, there have been some objections to the nature of the script. Richard Roundtree of Shaft fame was angered when he heard about “X-men 3: Storm Goes to Africa”.
“This is complete bull****,” he said. “I took Shaft to Africa a long time ago, and now they wanna act like this is something new. Wait till I get my hands on that Bryan Singer.”
When asked about his feelings on Roundtree’s anger, Singer reportedly said, “He’s one bad Mutha…”

Bryan Singer didnt want the characters to 'fly' because he wanted it to be 'realistic'.
X-Men 3 directed by Brett Ratner....we just got proof that there will be flight, Angel. Does this mean that there is a chance for Storm to fly? Thats what Halle wants, flight is allowed, makes sense.

From what I've read she is supposed to have a flight sequence. Even Halle joked about it--that she had a cape on in all these films but never did anything with it.

I don't want to see Storm fly. One, I think she'll look stupid, especially Halle Berry making her serious face when doing it. Two, it'll take away the mystique from flying characters such as Magneto and Angel.

haha yeah hugh jackman offered me a date if i stopped talking about it lol ahh jk oh how my mind wonders anyways! lets see what happend well they were here tuesday(thats where i met hugh) friday was halle on the wires she was being lifted up then she came spinning back down(i felt sorry for the poor girl after the 5th take of doing that) umm i didnt see the fight scene cuz i was at a funeral but i came back and they had already gone through a window and the little notice we got said they were blowing them out but i guess that changed or thier doing it on the replica house so all that really happened or what ive seen and heard from the neighbours was hugh(or his stunt dbl) going through a window (im assuming hes thrown by jugs) yeah thats really all i ave to say i havent seen much they said they were coming back today but i drove by the house and they were putting it back to the way it used to be so maybe their done here
no they raised her up held her there for a minute with her arms out (getting the mojo goin) then she spins back down that was all she did
she was in dark deniem jeans and she had a short(like it stopped at her hips) blue leather jacket i guess she was in her street clothes in this scene an no no wind machines they were just liftin her maybe they're gonna add that in or somthing
hmmm bout the same height as the roof and no i dont think she was controlling her movements i didnt really know what was going on with the wires she raised her hands and then the wires lifted her up then she had to cross them inot her chest as she spired down again so i think it was the wires spinning her
This was posted in another thread!
Its when they go back to Jean Greys house!

Um, no. She isn't hailed as the Beautiful Wind Rider for nothing. Flying is as intrinsic to Storm's nature as magnetism is to Erik, or shooting ruby beams is for Scott--it's what she does. How can you be a goddess of the elements and skies if you don't actually get up there?
--and Erik isn't a serious "flying character" anyway.

The spiraling thing sounds really interesting, and yes--weird. Why on earth would they be having her spin back down to ground each time? That reminds me of a move the Activision X-Men: Next Dimmension game's Storm can do.
Sounds like a pretty awsome scene. Landing. . . with style.

It sounds like she is lifting up off the ground creating a micro storm around herself (something that could be added in CGI through post production perhaps?), and perhaps encasing herself in a tornado or miniature hurricane? Only a storm like that would cause her body to "spiral" down to the ground.
Or the other option is she is lifted straight up for a certain shot, does her thing for the camera, and then after the shot is finished filming they just let her down and she slightly turns around in the harness as the wiring is released.

After all the comments Halle made about fans wanting her to actually FLY in the first two movies, I would be very surprised if we don't see a flying Halle in X-3. I for one hope to see her riding the air currents at least a couple of times in the new movie. Don't forget the "elevator" scene from X-1 where she kind of rises up the elevator shaft. I guess everyone likes to forget that scene, as she did look a bit lame, but considering the extremes they have gone to depicting Angel flying (the Worthington Labs/Wall Centre shoot), it would seem unfair the Ratner wouldn't try to show Halle flying as well. Fingers Crossed ...

Agreed.
Some say that Singer was going for "realism" by not having Storm fly, but Magneto had a flying sequence in both films (he flew up from the head of the Liberty Statue to the imprisoned Rogue in X1, and in his rearranging of Dark Cerebro in X2).
So it's not like they "couldn't" let her fly if they truly wanted to.

Just a excuse to not give her something to do...he hated her diva attitude, and she hated his directing.

I think it seems that way because of her jacket flaring out in the back. Halle has nothing for a waist, so I'm sure sans the jacket she is maintaining her regular high octane levels of delish bootiliciousness. Halle always had a pear-shape more than an apple bottom.

You know what? I think having the longer tresses from X1 would make Halle seem even shorter...kinda make her look like Cousin It. Since she is somewhat petite (but she's not a true petite though), having hair that comes down to her back would only increase the perception of it.
http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/7386/xmen0032xq.jpg
So I think they shortened her hair to draw more attention to her neckline, thus making her seem more proportionate heightwise. Perhaps compared to someone over 6'0 like Hugh she'd still seem short, but in of herself, she'd still be proportionate.
Does what I'm saying make sense?

I think the hair is....interesting :p Will have to wait for a full frontal view to make better judgement, but it looks like she has the bangs again. I doesn't seem too bad, but the thing I love most about Storm is her long flowing white hair. Yeah, she cut it short in the comics many times, but still, lol. I'll miss seeing Storm's hair flying in the wind with electricity running through it :( Anways, the style will still look good on Halle I'm sure, so I guess it'll be ok. I'm sure (like Lightnin said) it'll make her seem less petite and more commanding, so that's good!
I love her outfit, but I hope she has more fashions that Storm would wear in the comics. I dunno...still doesn't feel like Storm, but this is a side shot spy photo, so I can't really judge yet.

LOL....I just remember'd when I posted this long time ago. Her hair sorta looks like this now, and now I find myself complaining today, lol. *Smacks self* :p
The one thing I can't make out for the new set pix is if her bangs cover her eyes or not. It seems like they actually come down TOO far on her face.

I'm not going to judge or go into detail about anything. Its a few pictures from a bad angle. You can see the length of the hair, you cant tell the style that well. I'm not going to say how the clothes 'arnt Storm' because its only one scene. Unless they are going to make Storm like a tramp and have her wear the same clothes for every scene.
Mor pictures from a better angle needeed!

The Oscar-winner swaps her X-Man series leathers for bo-ho chic during a break from filming. Halle follows in the stylish footsteps of Victoria Beckham and Cindy Crawford in donning a cowboy hat
7 OCTOBER 2005
Halle Berry was looking more cowgirl than Catwoman when she stepped out in Los Angeles this week. The Oscar-winner kept her cool under a Texan-style straw hat as she strolled through the streets of Tinseltown during a break from work on her latest film.
With a floaty mini-dress over jeans and flip-flops, the actress was a picture of boho chic. And she was no doubt glad of the opportunity to step into more comfy attire, as she has been head to toe in skin-tight leather for the last few weeks. Reprising her role as Storm in the third instalment of the X-Men series has meant squeezing back into the one-piece suit she made famous in the first two films.
She obviously doesn't require any special effects to hit the right note when she's off the set, though, as cowboy hats have been this summer's must-have accessory. Indeed Halle is just the latest in a series of A-list stars to be seen wearing one.
Cindy Crawford and Beyonce Knowles were both photographed wearing Stetsons while on holiday in the south of France this summer. Victoria Beckham was snapped in hers as she enjoyed the sunshine in Sardinia, while the Duchess of York likewise opted for the Wild West look when she hit the beach in St Tropez. Other fans of "ten-gallon chic" include Bono, Cher, Kimberly Stewart and Madonna. Source: http://www.hellomagazine.com/film/2005/10/07/halleberry/

Well, Halle certainly does have good fashion sense. I don't think she's ever messed up on the red carpet.
I think it's interesting though that the media just won't let go of the Catwoman jokes. Like, it's the ONLY film she's ever done.

It's nice that the actor's aren't stuck in Vancouver for the full filming production like last time. I remember that was one of the major complaints Halle, Alan Cumming and Ian McKellen made vocal.

I can't believe it got made in the first place :P Same with Elektra. Honestly, has there EVER been a decent spinoff?

Halle Berry goes plane shopping
Saturday, October 8 2005, 11:26 BST -- by Daniel Kilkelly (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds25067.html#)
X-Men actress Halle Berry has been spotted browsing for a plane.
The 39-year-old star spoke to salesmen at a Californian airport, where she was shown four different jets.
“She was walking round the jets and giving all a good inspection," an onlooker told The Sun. “She met three salesmen and then had a meeting on board one of the jets. When she got off the plane a few others were brought for her to look at.
“She was pointing at different parts of the planes and asking the men questions.”

That wig is a ****** and she should have never been cast in the movie. She is just so lifelessand limp. I think a weave would have been much better suited for the role.

As usual, the tabloids have slightly blown this story about Halle Berry looking at planes out of proportion. The November issue of Ebony explains that she needed the plane to transport her from the X-Men 3 Vancouver shoot to a photo shoot for the magazine's cover story--which celebrates 60 years of publication. Apparently, commercial flights were unavailable because Halle needed to get there to the Ebony shoot and back the very next morning to resume filming in Canada.
The Ebony photo shoot united her with Denzel Washington and Jamie Foxx--two other African American actors who have won coveted Academy Awards. The cover is beautiful--it displays all three actors in a group embrace wearing sharp black tuxedos.

I've already tried. The official website still features the October issue. I got mine in the mail so I think I get it a little earlier than newstands...But it should be out real soon--if it's not already released.
