GR Marvel logo

What if GR had a custom Marvel logo like the Punishers? It go like normal then burst into flames. What all of you think???

GR does have a custom logo. The medallion of power. Maybe FlameHead or BIGGUN will post the pic, because I can't.

How about this?
Screen opens; The words "This Fall get ready to pay for past crimes," appears on the screen (quick flashes of the movie, ends with a comic lying on the ground) [camera shows the comic lying in an alley. You hear a motorcycle reving and the comic flips open from the a bike passing and the camera shows the open pages. The panels in the comic are of a JB/GR comic when GR is punishing someone. Suddenly, GR's laugh rips threw the silence and you hear the hellcycle roar past. The comic closes from it's passing and shows the Marvel logo, which bursts into flames, shortly followed by the rest of the comic. The ash left over is stirred by the bike returning and forms the words Ghost Rider. The camera backs out and you see the front wheel of the hellcycle a few inches away. Some of the fire from the wheel leaps at the camera and the screen burns out to reveal the info for the movie]

Just go to http://www.flamingtext.com/net-fu/forms/flaming-logo.html and put Marvel in the text string box, change the font to Charter, text color to white, and click on create logo. That's what I did. There is a lot of other styles you can do on that website for future reference.

I say they should do something along the lines of that Marvel logo above, then have the background dissolve into a long stretch of road, then the Marvel logo zooming backward down it. Roll opening credits.

As for Ghost Rider's logo, I prefer the burning title of the early 90's comics to the bland metallic design they used later. Neither were brilliant though. I'm sure for the movie they'll come up with something even better.

All the logos, in reference to the movie, that we've seen so far have been that exact logo. We seen them on some passes and whotnot so far. I'm pretty sure they'll be going with that design for everything... even the title credits. I hope so anyway.

Thanks guys. It is nice to know that people like my ideas. I hope that MSJ will see it and tell me what he thinks of it. It is not very revealing so it could be used as a teaser idea or a first trailer.
On the logo, they will probably animated it so it looks like it is "burning". It just sounds like something they would do.

They probably fear that it'll be too much like Constantine or something though.

I though Constantine was flashes of the movie and him on the mountain going up? That is the only one I remember seeing, and this fits a GR teaser almost perfectly since it doesn't show him or much of his bike.

I picture the Ghost Rider logo much different than that though. I want flame, not crusty paper stuff.

I hope the encorperate the logo more into the film than Fantastic Four did. I'm a huge fan of have the production companies logo's worked into the introduction and mood of the film.

I did like the use of Fantastic Four comic images. They better do the same for Ghost Rider... as I'm sure they will.

I did a frame by frame thing of the recent comic con footage to see if I could see any GR panels in the logo... but, I couldn't really tell. Did anyone else notice anything but it being black... which looked awesome.

Figured this would be a nice one to bump. I personally love the Marvel Film logo and can't wait to see what the GR has. I'm sure it'll be personalized in some way. I'm even more confident that they will after seeing the (really awesome) FF2 teaser w/ the blue logo. Awesome stuff....

There is a thread about title art but, it's about the comics. Just a question basically about which of the titles people have liked best. The 2 90's versions, the 70s, 2099. Things like that. Not sure if that's what you're talking about or not CR.

Cool the skull on the V! I really dig the spikes, maybe thay could have added more contrast on the chains texture, but it's really good, quite fitting to the hellcycle theme...

Anyhoo, the transformation of the Marvel logo into what looked like Hellfire manipulated metal was an interesting twist. Really liked it.
