yeah i agree with you on eliza but for my x 4 story and x-5 poloris dosent have much speaking lines so i though id save elizas talet and make her scarlet which instead

If the X3-version of Callisto was never in a movie, and if Rogue was sassy and in the Brotherhood - I wouldn't mind her at all to look like this. This is pretty clever. I'd just make her white streaks a bit more whiter... But, well done. :up:

2. duplicate layer, put thru plastic wrap
3. duplicate iceman, make all black then all blue, set to overlay
4. make new layer all black, put thru retilculation, adjust levels to make speckles of black and white, cutout in shape of iceman, set to linear dodge
5.duplicate original desaturated iceman, put thru glowing edges, set to screen
voila
its super easy but sounds complicated (this is no touchups etc)

just thought id post a quick update on my piece, the poses do not exist in the movieverse so its taking a while to create the cover, 100% done in photoshop, no tablet (would make life easier) anyone got any ideas for the background, ps if you have any pics from the movies of magneto bobby or jean in similar poses to the ones on issue 1 please share would make this alot quicker/easier

Amazing manip! really. Love seeing things like this, as everybody know.

But you know, there Anna looks taller than who she really is, so there is the problem with long hair for her. As we saw in X3 scene of Logan and Rogue in the wall, she seems to have no neck, so that's why I think shorter hair would look better for her.
I love long hair, like the manip, but having seeing it in Anna already, I want short hair for her, and with more volume, of course.

Actually I just drew what I thought would look good on them. If they are actual Celtic or Gothic designs, it's purely coincidental. But I don't really make fonts because I don't know how.:oldrazz:

ok, I’ve been out of town for a lil while, so I missed the contest, I had a concept planned, but, didn't have any time or access to my computer, to do it
so, now that I had some time free today I figured I'd do it anyway, it's not fully what I was picturing for my concept, still alil rough, and I changed around some of my ideas, and added a few thing I hadn't planned on.
anyway, I was going for a next generation of new x-men, coming in to the team, the idea was to have the remaining team from the end of 3x, Wolverine, Storm, Iceman, Kitty and Colossus, coming out of a training (or something) with Angel, Jubilee, and the Stepford Cuckoos (just for the h3ll of it) wasn't sure who else to use

This is great but just a few criticisms I have. I like the colour of the jacket but not the uniform, I think you should have kept it black because otherwise it just looks a bit cheesy. I love the hair and face especially the stripes. However, I think the background you chose spoilt the picture a bit, it's a bit irrelevant and just doesn't fit with the manip.

I don't know what material Rogue wears in the comics/TAS, but it didn't clash to me. They're all bright earth tones, the colors mesh naturally.

well, i do. Green's my favourite colour, and as well as looking hot in red, she's looking hot in green. It'd be cool to go further and sort of a do a rogue-type with Phoenix having green and red or red and yellow, whatever it was. But don't hate it, it looks great. She looks hot, even though it's just a colour change, it looks awesome.

Ive started some work on a 3d mystique, a much bigger version than I did before so this is going to be a tough one. This is around an hours work so far, so its in the very early stages

I take it you're generating Mystique in a CG program? keep going, its looking fabulous. But one query (that might be a bit useless in the gran scheme of things), but at the moment, she looks like that chick off farscape:

Looking at the photo of juggy and ice, I noticed that they have the same cars as they did twenty years ago. Looks like a mistake. :p

Watch the beginning and you'll see the yellow and red car in the same locations they are in that one.

In the commentary for X Men 1, Bryan singer said that he had no idea shawn had a twin brother until after he shot the scene where shawn walks past the elevator with his friends saying how he "should have met rogue for lunch" and then mystique disguised as shawn comes out the lift immediately after. He said that if he had known he could have saved himself a lot of time and money filming that shot if he used his twin lol.

Whats really weird though is that Shawn has actually been in smallville in two previous episodes as a bad guy who steals clarks powers, now all of a sudden his twin brother has a leading role and no one seems to notice he looks exactly the same hehe
