Self manips now eh? I'll just post one high res pic of me as Wolvie back in 2006 Halloween. I use the pic in my avatar as well as you can see, but meh. I manipped the chops and made my hair a bit longer. Gotta adhere to military standards afterall.

Good golly! I am amazed at the amount of flawless detail put into this...the costumes are outrageous (in a good way)! I love Cable's uniform...how it's personalized and how everything looks like it is actually in the scene. Great job.

brilliant I like it few minor things though : cables right are, defo needs so blending between forarm and bicep, also the head, just dosnt seem to sit well, the rest of the body is so amazing, i think the head needs to be on the same level, but otherwise amazing

To me, her hips seem too high, but that could just be the effect of the uniform...or it could be that I've been staring at it too long...you probably don't want to tinker with that, considering it might not be true :) The color change and lightning would be perfect!

Awesome manip, master j! My only helpful critique would be that her arms are a little long. Generally the hand is just a bit past the hip bone, whereas on your manip they're a fair bit past the hip bone. :)

I'm at a loss for words...this piece of artwork is wonderful. Believeable, skillfully orchestrated, with a wonderful attention to detail...the hair, though you say is still "rough" is wonderful. It's pieces like this that make it work sitting through the agonizing "factory/conveyor belt manips done by frequent users. Thank you very much for sharing this with us! :)

Simply amazing so far. tell us, how did you do the hair? Is it another haircut pasted on or made completely from scratch??
I pasted another haircut (some random long hair) and I erased some parts of it and added some strands of hair so it looked real. And the white streak is pasted from Ororo's X3 hair and I did the same, I erased some parts, I added some white strands around and some brown ones too so it wouldn't look like pasted. I still have some work to do with the hair though.

And the rest of her body... well, I erased her original arms (it took me a while to replicate the suit around her hips because she had her hands on them (the original is this (http://www.thexverse.com/gallery_image.php?image=558&parent=42) picture), I pasted some Storm's arms (I think it was Storm) and changed the contrast, brightness and curves so the suit colours fitted with the rest of the body, I added the legband (made with a part of her left boot lol) and I colored the entire suit. I have a brighter version of this, but it didn't look very believable. I think this was less comic-ish.

a realtionship between the two is also mention in the first X-Men legends game. People are forgetting that rogue is a lot older and magneto a lot younger in the comics.

Then theres the whole Joseph/Rogue thing. Rogue thought Joseph was an amnesiac Magneto, they grew close but then they found out that Joseph was in fact a clone of Magneto. All very weird :s

Not really that only but I know when I judge, I judge based on the difficulty, the designs, the choices made, the casting, and the overall outcome.
I know it's just a fun competition, but it's just the way I vote.

I just don't want my casting to affect the votes that I might/might not get.
