anyone here besides me LOVE kingdom hearts?

well.. the sequel is coming out soon and the additional worlds to be included are Steamboat Willie, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Have any of you guys seen the new trailers and screenshots!? They look amazing. Especially the pirates world.. i did not think they would be able to pull it off when i first heard about it, but after looking at the screenshots, i am definitely impressed with Square-Enix.

He even bought the Game Boy Advance (SP) so he can play that other Kingdom Hearts game.. that goes between the stories.

I LOVE Kingdom Hearts. Its my favorite game of all time. So its pretty obvious how hyped I am for KH2. If you didn't know, there is a site you can go to for daily updates on the game. Here (http://www.kh2.co.uk/)

There's an interview with Nomura (KH creator) up now. He says that Kingdom Hearts 2 popularity (sales) will depend on whether or not we will see a Kingdom Hearts 3.

Anyway, l love KH1. The story was great, gameplay, bosses, all good. But the level design... oh man. Pissed me off so bad. The Tarzan level, Alice level, almost every level besides the castle towards the end. It felt so fake. Messy.

I hope they fix that.

i loved all of the worlds.. i am dissapointed that there will be a lot of revisiting to these worlds as opposed to square creating all new worlds.

where are teh pocahantas, hunchback of notre dame, snow white, cinderella, sleeping beauty worlds?

i mean, i understand some of these movies are not as beloved as others, but they would still make for some beautiful worlds in a kingdom hearts game...

the camera angles in the game drove me nuts though..

I wasn't a big Poccohantas fan, but don't forget...they have to save worlds for the sequel. I personally would like to see some final fantasy worlds...it would be awesome to visit Midgar or Spira. Plus I'd like to see some other Square RPGs brought into the mix...I would absolutely LOVE to bump into Magus from Chrono Trigger.

Oh, it wasn't the difficulty. I just never had time to play it. In fact, I traded it and Final Fantasy 10 without beating either of them. That, and people told me FFX's ending sucked anyway.

There are a hellava lot new worlds to keep people satisfied. We don't even know if the returning worlds will have the same format of areas.

Cinderella is byfar the most beloved fairytale ever. The Cinderella concept is practicly used in hundreds of movies.

Never underestimate KHU's sources from 2ch forums, and Nomura's
continued ability to surprise and shock people. (POTC, Tron, Stitch...)

Despite the terrible quality , Chicken Little is still obviously in the first scan page, you can see his icon in the terribly hard to see battle screen next to his big character model. Also YRP are in the game, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine. There a shot there as well but its terrible quality, but its already confirmed by people owning the magazine so its legit.

Also the Jan 2006 issue of Dorimaga magzine, which comes out on the 30th of Nov, has a vidoe of KH2 on DVD(dunno if its a totally new trailer) and it has a new interview, a source claims that this is what was in the interview, badly translated:

Nope. Nomura has basically shown every level available. Unless you count Deep Dive level; that darkened city from the concept video at the end of Kingdom Hearts. Its title is "The Non-Existent World"

Yes they are. Heavily involved. They are called the "XIII Order." Each member is of specific importance in each world of the game. The leader's identity, also known as the Enigmatic Man in Final Mix, is very very important. This order is apparently trying to reach Kingdom Hearts to "complete themselves."

1. Nope. There's an intro movie sequence that basically sums up KH1 and KH:COM.

2. This is hard to answer. Yes it wraps up Sora's story from KH1. But it also opens new doors.

It's not that I am mad about the game itself. It's very plausible that it was a HUGE sucess, but still, what a slap in the face to PS2 only owners who supported KH. Continuing the story on another platform with a card system was not cool. Maybe make a ported version of the first, but don't let people miss out on the story..

It wasn't a card game. The battle system just had cards worked as moves and you could link cards to activate abilities like Ars Arcanum or Sonic Blade. The only other time you used cards was to get to other rooms.
