MF wasn't the only crappy one. In fact, only 4 seasons were actually good{MM and DT}

IMO, Time Force and In Space trump those two.

A couple things I didn't like about Mystic Force.

Anyone who wasn't named Nick got ditched in the character development. Especially Madison. After the way just ignored character development for the girls in SPD I hope they would do better in MF, but no they only made it worse.

Rushed episodes. Especially episodes like Soul Spector, Dark Wish Parts 1 & 3, and most of the episodes with the ten terrors. These episodes felt rushed because they were two parts in Magi and had a lot of fight footage in them and they spliced them down to one episode in Mystic Force. Dark Wish Part 1 had not one, not two, but three sentai episodes in them. Using more than two sentai episodes in one episode or making a two part sentai episode that has a lot of footage of the rangers fighting into one episode is never a good thing, because the episode will most likely be rushed. The Snow Prince episode is a good example.

The thing is that Disney told Bruce Kalish(the executive producer is case you didn't know) that PR is supposed to be a translation from the sentai version. If he watched past PR seasons MMPR, Zeo, and IS, he can see that is not true. If it were then we'd have talking morphers and zords in Dino Thunder.

After SPD was over he said in a interview that the reason Z and Syd didn't get much development was because the Deka episodes that were about the Yellow and Pink ranger had plots that weren't approiate. I'm sorry but that's not a good excuse. If they could turn episodes like the "Fight Club" episode into Zapped, they could have come up with orginial plots for the other episodes. Other episodes that had orginial plots Beginnings, Confronted, Walls, Boom, and Dismissed. Also in A-briged the plot was about a bank robbery, but in the Deka episode it was adapted from it was a murder. Were they just too lazy to come up with something else?

I'm hope PROO is much better than PRMF. If it's like this I will be happy.

1. Good character development for ALL the rangers.

2. No clipshows. Unless it has a plot it itself. Like Lost Galaxy's Until Sunset episode. Otherwise they're pointless and a waste of an episode. *cough*Insomnia**cough

3. No In Your Dreams/Robotpalooza/Dark Wish Part 1 type episodes.

Also Kalish says he likes doing Rojomon type episodes. If he does one in PROO I hope it's much better than SPD's Perspective. I probably would have liked that episode better if they shot different footage for all the rangers stories instead of just using the same footage over and over again with different dialouge.

I like it... I can definitely get into that, especially now that I'm back into Super Sentai these days... It reminds me of Sun Vulcan and Liveman, which I wholeheartedly enjoy.

I'm just going through the Wikipedia database of all Sentai shows and looking at all the images I can find...this is great...I would like to see a version of Sentai however that's targeted towards adults more than children. It would be hard to do, but if done correctly, would be awesome, IMO. Have violence, and isntead of when a blade goes across a ranger's chest, instead of spraks and a little explosion, having a cut, having a bruise...you know, make it less fantastical and more gritty and human...cut out the monsters, I guess...it'd have to have a long time in development to get it right, however.

The early ranger costumes...they are awesome compared to now...and the animal ones (swan, owl, etc)...they're cool too. I like the costumes where it's more than coloured spandex...

No, but it looks more intelligent than the American version.

I was watching my copy of The Ultimate Rangers, a DVD with a collection of fan-selected episodes that claim to be the best (it has some of the series I hate, but alas, they are good episodes), and I watched the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: White Light (Parts 1 and 2). Now it makes sense why the White Ranger had the circle of Japanese balls of power behind him. I thought they just had to look cool, I never thought twice about it LOL!

But yeah, we only get the American version, and I think watching the original Sentai series would help me somehow :huh::huh:

Disney owns the rights to the second movie as portions were shown in the episode "Legacy of Power". This is because it was a total Saban production, but FOX acted as the distributor. The first movie still belongs to Fox.

OMG, I love you for this. I totally love this show, I think MMPR, the original, was the best, but they had one or two okay ones w/ Ninja Storm & Dino Thunder. Best ranger ever? Tommy, hands down. He had some of the best lines in DT, too.

Tommy: "Lemme guess, a 30-story version of the guy you were just fighting."
Conner: "You've done this before, haven't you?"

Well, the episode "Forever Red" linked all the red rangers...but that's really the only link I know about. Early on, they passed the roles of the rangers onto new members (eg Kimberly to Kat). I don't think they do that anymore, they just start a new show.

Well if you include MMPR 1 - 3, there are 15 power ranger seasons.
I saved that wall paper very cool.
Wish they would do it for every colour ranger though.

Only episodes I got are on my laptop, which are mostly Time Force lol.

Sometimes in the later seasons they have connections with the old seasons like Mysitc Force had Rita in it, but she was called 'Mystic Mother' and was good.
And in SPD Sky's dad had a Time Force Ranger uniform on.

The last link was in Turbo and In Space well when the rangers carried on.

But in Lost Galaxy Karone took the place of the pink ranger when she died.

I think the Sentai version had at least 2 kids grow into normal sized Rangers. The White Ranger was some bratty prince, and I'm not sure, but I think the Gold Ranger was a kid too in the original.

You see I loved the idea of a young boy on the team (I wanted to be that boy), but why couldn't they have just had a suit for him? Like, a suit especially designed for him? It was a BAD decision to have him become an adult when he powers up, if he still looked like a kid I think it would have been great, but no.

But I though Mystics Force ending was rushed and compared to Magiranger it wasn't as good. I dont really like MF anyway lol. SPD was so much better.

I don't understand it. How come that the US Episodes always turn out to be totally rushed? They are already using most of the Sentai footage, which means they don't have to film any giant monster fights, they also don't have to build new sets after they teared it down. When they aren't doing any fancy slow-mo fights they can always use the old fight footage. They get most probs and suits from Japan, it's not like they'd have a whole lot to do.

So why aren't they taking their time? Why the heck are they cutting a 51 Episodes long series down to 32 Episodes?

Also in the Sentai one the Blue ranger marries the Solaris one, so in the American version the blueranger is always next to Solaris and going up to him when a lot, like in the Sentai ending she though he died and so on so it doesnt add up and I don't like Nick. It just seemed not as good as others.

They has been some great seasons endings, my fave is Time Force, a 3 parter one. also In Space, SPD, MMPR.

There is only one series and it's called Power Rangers. There are, however, 15 seasons as of Feb. 2007.

The first seven seasons had recurring characters or rangers handing off powers to another. After that they were all connected through team-ups. In the cases were there weren't team-ups (Ninja Storm and Mystic Force) there were characters that showed up later on. The Ninja Storm Rangers teamed-up with the Dino Thunder Rangers who included one of the original Power Rangers. For Mystic Force a character from the previous season (Piggy if you remember him from S.P.D.) had a cameo and a character from the first season (Rita) showed up in the finale. Okay! To begin with, don't kill the illusion! :cmad: Secondly, Tommy was better than Burai. The character of Burai in Zyuranger was cool during their "green with evil" story arc. Afterwards, however, he barely did anything impressive. He spent 98% of the time in that damn lapless room or whatever. A disappointment if you ask me. Atleast Tommy did something! And, finally lets not forget Zyu2. Everything up to the Doomsday episode was Burai. Afterwards Saban/Fox hired Toei to produce additional footage. That Zyu2 footage is Tommy! Yeah, it may have not been the actor under the suit...but so what? JDF still had some awesome moments on the show. Remember in Green No More when he fought Goldar? That was badass! I would love for people to learn the actors' name. Is it really that hard? I mean damn, they do show them to you during every opening credit. If you watch an entire season, that's anywhere between 32 to 60 times of seeing the same names. You would think you could learn them within the first 10.

Based on what I've read, Dark Wish won't be airing AT ALL on ABC. Because I don't support downloading, your best bet with that one would be to buy the DVD. Also, the season won't be ending on ABC until almost Operation Overdrive, so you have a long wait.

While on an archeological excursion in Africa, billionaire/adventurer Andrew Hartford unearthed the crown portion of what he believes is the Corona Aurora. The jewels of the crown were missing from the corona. Upon returning home, Standish is visited by the crown's ghostly Templar Knight who assured him he has found the crown, but in doing so he was now responsible for protecting it. If the crown falls into the wrong hands, it can mean disaster not only for Earth but the entire universe.

Now Hartford must scour the globe and find the five jewels that were scattered across the Pangea many eons before man even existed. He uses his intelligence and wealth to construct the technology and machinery, including morphing Trackers, which he entrusts to an elite team of specialists to track down the jewels and save the universe. He assembles Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.

The team consists of Hartford's excitable and impetuous son, Mackenzie or Mack, who grabbed the Tracker to become a ranger and live out his dreams of adventure. Mack, the Red Ranger, possesses superior strength. While Rose, the Pink Ranger, can become invisible, she is a certified Mensa Genius and child prodigy who enjoys poetry but needs to work on her social skills – something she can't learn in a book. Will, the Black Ranger, is a suave, sophisticated ladies man, ala a younger version of James Bond, who appreciates the finer things in life. The Black Ranger possesses super sight and hearing. Ronny, the Yellow Ranger, is a top race car driver in a male-dominated field, but can hold her own when dealing with the boys. Her enhancement is super speed. Dax, the Blue Ranger is the best international stuntman in the business; with elastic bounce abilities as his genetic enhancement, he can take his stunt work to a whole new level.

As the five teens set out to find the five jewels and defeat those evil doers bent on destroying the universe, it's safe to know that the Power Rangers fight for what's right, honest and good. They're the heroes – "Power Rangers Operation Overdrive."

Starring are newcomer James Maclurcan as Mack/the Red Ranger; Rhoda Montemayor ("Finding Neverland") as Rose/the Pink Ranger; Samuell Benta ("Re-Born") as Will/the Black Ranger; newcomer Caitlin Murphy as Ronny/the Yellow Ranger and Gareth Yuen ("Ponderosa") as Dax/the Blue Ranger.
