Masked Rider--I remember him. He was Dex or something like that. Didn't he tie into some other show or something to the nature? I can't remember.

He started in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers & Masked Rider took place AFTER the Season 3. If I remember correctly the bad guy Dex was fighting FOLLOWED the Power Rangers as they returned to Earth & Dex goes chasing after the bad guy then came Masked Rider. If I remember correctly Alpha 5 asked the Rangers to go help Dex fight off the Bad Guys there I think that is Alpha 5s home Planet where Dex is from.

I think the bad guy was Dex's uncle or something. I remember that, then he has taken in by that family with the adopted kids.

I think I have a new favorite Show. That Garo seriously kicks a large amount of ass. The action and Special effects are very well done. And those shadow creatures called horrors are just way cool. The Music is also nice to listen to and fits perfectly. Though it makes also fun to watch the fight scenes with the Devil May Cry soundtrack in the background.

Here's (http://tvnihon.com/) a good site for a lot of Torrents of Japanese shows. Maybe you should start with the first S.P.D. Episode, just to see how much actually gets lost and changed when they bring it to the US. They even have the first 3 Episodes of the Kyoryu Sentai ZyuRanger which we came to know as the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. But the torrent site is currently down right now, yo you have to wait a bit.

But you mentioned that you know a few sites to download Episodes from. In case you find the Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger (Ninja Storm) Episodes, please let me know. I downloaded like 40 Episodes before my old PC crashed and I lost all of them. And I have yet to find them again.

I thought they had direct downloads for the japanese stuff too but it seems to be mostly american. I'm looking for something in wmv format as that seems to be the easiest for my current setup on my computer to play.

Watched the 2nd Episode of Garo today. Pretty sweet fight with the horror I must say. Sadly the fight is over soon once the main character transforms into a golden knight.

riddle me this fans of Rangers, how come they kept bringing back Jason and nobody ever thought to reach out to Zack? Yeah, i know Jason was way more popular but it's almost like people forget about Zack sometimes. If Thuy Trang was still alive, I think there'd be a lot of people who would love to see a full on Mighty Morphin' reunion episode(even just one episode who be enough).

Yeah, but it almost seems like he was the ONLY one of the originals to never come back for any reason. Trini never returned for obvious reasons and Billy was on there so long, I didn't really expect him to return, but Tommy, Jason, and to a lesser extent, Kimberly have all returned at some point. It'd be nice to see Zack again just one more time. Although to his credit, i did read somewhere that Walter Jones(Zack) did return for Forever Red as the voice of a monster or something.

Well only 2 episodes of SPD Left after Ressurection,Endings part 1 and 2,It's pretty obvious that Crugers wife will be back.I'm hoping as a Villian. she's probably the in cahoots with Grumm,I hope they don't do something like making her Grumms prisoner ,but they probably will. :( I really wan't a twist ending.

No. SPD runs 38 episodes (even though Deka runs 50, plus a movie and team up special).

Mystic Force will run only 32 (even though Magiranger runs 50 plus a movie and team up special).

I don't really like how they only have one season of the new Rangers series. I wish it were like the old days where we got 2 or 3 seasons worth. That way we'd have more time to grow and love the characters.

15 i still watch it cus I grew up with it , sort of the same reason anyone can still read superman after all those years of growing up with it. A few years I almost stopped watching it because the last few seanson sucked bad wild force,ninja storm,dinothunder, but I keep on watchen.

I'm 20 and I've been watching since MMPR so you're not alone.

As for SPD; this A-squad vs. B-squad fight is gonna be something serious. Hopefully, this leadds into something involving Kruger's wife and General Grum.

I remember. It was episode 3 and 4 of Power Rangers in Space, if I recall correctly.

That Saban version sucked... a LOT. Getting rid of Shredder is one thing, but adding ANOTHER turtle and turning it into Power Rangers Turtle Force was stupid.

Darker than the movies? No friggin way. Turtles 1, even Turtles 2 was darker than the crappy Saban show.

I will, however, give you Turtles 3. That was more lighthearted than the Saban show.

well, i think he's a decent actor and a good ranger too. I think they should've kept him evil though. I was AMAZED with how long they did keep him evil(like 3 or 4x longer than Tommy as the green ranger was!) but keeping him evil would have been awesome.

Tell him he does good work and if you could hook me up with an autograph(hey, i'd love an autograph from just about any Ranger actor i've actually heard of), i'd love it. :)

You don't need the movies as those are simply heavily edited versions of the episodes. If you want the uncut eps, download the seasons and ignore the Time Force and Lost Galaxy movies.

Sorry guys, I haven't seen or spoken to Jeff in about 2 years...right before he went to film Power Rangers in New Zealand. Just wondering what fans' opinions on him and the character were. He's been so determined to be an actor for as long as I can remember so it's pretty cool to actually see him in something that has a pretty big fanbase like Power Rangers.

I saw it, and it was pretty much what I expected to happen; Jack leaves SPD and Sky becomes the Red Ranger. Although I though it was a nice touch that after the last commercial break, instead of it just being over, Doggie and Grumm fight.

Plus it was kinda cool to see Omega Ranger in the SPD uniform even if it was only for a second.

None of the original six can take that role....

I'd say andros cause he was representing on his own for a long time, or the original gold ranger who was inhabited by three lifeforms, i think his name was trey.

carter from lightspeed rescue is trained to kick major ass, he's gotta be up there,

Leo was great as the red galaxy ranger and boosted with the lights of orion he's definitely a force to be reckoned with.

however the ones i wouldn't like to face in a dark alley are adam, the second black ranger and the green zeo ranger and the quantum ranger from timeforce.

but if i was in danger and i needed a ranger's help, i'd definitely be wanting andros'. The dude saves other RED rangers WITH MORE POWERS THAN HIMSELF WITHOUT HIS MORPHER from peril, that's gotta go down in history as being badass.

if you watch what him and carter do against that droid general in forever red, then you'll see just how psycho andros is, he just doesn't care, if he's going to tear your head off, it's coming off...

I've seen all 38 episodes of S.P.D. and you can litterally skip 30 episodes and miss nothing. This season gets an F. I don't care if it is Bruce Kalish's (of Famous Jett Jackson and Fall Guy fame) first season of Power Rangers, he's had 30 years of TV expierence and would know how to do better. Wormhole and History were terrible. Both should've been together with a better plot. Just because the dinos powers were destroyed, Elsa and Mesogog were good, Zeltrax was most likely destroyed, and Jason David Frank couldn't play Tommy doesn't mean you make some of the most horrible team up episodes. Powers have been destroyed, villains turned good or killed, and actors unavailable, doesn't mean we have to suffer for it. A pefect example is To the Tenth Power and the Power of Pink. They were not able to get Justin Nimmo for Zhane, they thought of the Psycho Rangers (which just happened to be a plot hole of sorts from the previous season). Or perhaps Thunder Storm? Lothor was destroyed (or at least that was what was told in Ninja Storm) and so were the powers.

Sam was good at first but became USELESS. His character was taken care of very poorly. Oh and since I'm on the subject of Rangers, Kat was handled bad as well. A-Squad was a stupid idea at most. And Nova Ranger was just there for the hell of it.

Well that's all for now. Maybe Mystic Force will be better? Maybe not. Though I will tell you all one thing. Stop comparing who owns Power Rangers as to the reason why it "sucks" in your opinion. It's exactly who owns it is what you're comparing. Disney on one hand and FOX/Saban (though it was technically Saban who owned it). The people who make a show good or bad is the producers and the writers. Someone I complain about or praise. Simply because since Disney had the show moved to New Zealand we have had Jackie Marchand, Koichi Sakamoto, Doug Sloan, and Ann Austen all of whom have worked on the show for a good number of years with Jackie and Koichi being with the show for almost the entire run, only Jackie missed one season and Doug and Ann left during Turbo. These were FOX/Saban era show staffers, not Disney age people. These were the people who made the show on its rise to fame. So saying Disney or Saban is better or worse is wrong because obviously there are a select few who worked for BOTH for the same show.

Honestly, I loved SPD, but I agree with those two statements above. Sam was introduced so late in the show that there was no time to do a episode that focused on him and he really did become the elephant in the room. The ball of light thing was stupid, as it seems they figured out as we saw more and more of him in costume instead of in light form.

Personally I thought it would be nice to see another Sam/Z episode.

And you are right about Nova. She did absolutely nothing. DekaBright at least got to kick ass.

Technically, if they go by Mystic Force, the sixth ranger is the Red one as the first is MagiMother/White Ranger.

But no, the sixth ranger will be MagiShine/Solar/Light Ranger.

Well Sam was introduced early enough, but one thing S.P.D. has suffered from was character development, and the ones who got it didn't need it.

Also its not based on when they appear, but rather are they part of the main core five or outside of them? Let's look at S.P.D... the main core is B-Squad but Shadow, Kat, Omega, and Nova are all considered sixth rangers since they are extra rangers. Of course A-Squad could also be call sixth rangers, depending if you would like to include them or not because they are afterall completely evil.

I really hope this season is good,I was very disapointed in SPD.I have some hope in this season.Hopefully they'll develop the characters more this time.They had some developement, but I felt that they're was almost no focus on Characters like Z,Bridge,and Syd.

Matt Austin played Bridge is a way that even when the episode didn't focus on him you pretty much saw him develop anyway. Also Austin has said that if you watch the series you'll see Bridge's appearance start to clean up and look less like he just got out of bed, so he develops anyway.

But yeah, Z, Syd, and Sam got shafted.

This is why I think PR should be air 50 episodes a season like Sentai. I don't care if Sentai will end up two years ahead instead of one because we have to wait for all that footage. 50 episodes leaves a lot of space for development and build up. But knowing Disney those episodes will be replaced with about 20 episodes of throw away filler.

But that's what happens when you have a rotating door casting policy.

Still, I wouldn't get my hopes up for more character development with Mystic Force. Mystic Force only runs for 32 episodes and if SPD couldn't develop their characters in 38, I don't see much hope for Mystic. Then again, SPD had a lot of characters.

Imo SPD had way too many Characters there was a total of 9 rangers,then you had Grumm,Boom,Piggy,Mora/Morgana.Way too many to deal with for such a small amount of episodes.Does anyone if Mystic Force going to have more than 6 rangers?I think they should leave some rangers out if theres more than 6.

Well we really don't know how many rangers will be good or how long they will be bad in Mystic Force. Frankly because "we" don't adapt all 50 episodes and in some cases only 38-40 of said episodes are adapted, though usually premieres, team-ups, and finales tend to not adapt footage and if they do its very small things that can be seen in almost every episode (IE: monster growth, weapon formation, etc). One good example is how long Trent was evil compared to Abarekiller. Trent was good for more of the time than "killer" and part of that was Disney and another part was having to condense a show to 38 episodes from 50 all the while putting in some original plots and stories.

Actually there was a push by action director turned executive producer Koichi Sakamoto back in 2000/2001 to have 50 episodes for Time Force (plus a movie), but because of the SAG proposed actors strike that didn't happen.

Actually Bruce Kalish said that Mystic Force will run for 38 episodes and that the 32 episode news was a typo on Disney's part. Though S.P.D.'s problem was that it couldn't pace itself well. Though for the past few years episode counts have been around the same since Turbo at around 40 episodes (between 38-45). So each has had around the same amount of time to develop characters and Turbo had only HALF a season to develop the new rangers and did it very well. So time isn't and issue and shouldn't be used as an issue by anyone.

I probably used the wrong phrase, but what I meant by that was that every year the cast changes, meaning new characters that need to be developed, and new faces to get used to. One of the complaints I often hear about this is that you don't have time to get attached to a certain character before they're gone. Of course on the other hand, that's also said to be a benefit.

With Turbo, as you used below, they not only had the last half of Turbo to develop the new cast but also all of in Space. That was about what? 50 episodes, give or take?

Actually Bruce Kalish said that Mystic Force will run for 38 episodes and that the 32 episode news was a typo on Disney's part. Though S.P.D.'s problem was that it couldn't pace itself well. Though for the past few years episode counts have been around the same since Turbo at around 40 episodes (between 38-45). So each has had around the same amount of time to develop characters and Turbo had only HALF a season to develop the new rangers and did it very well. So time isn't and issue and shouldn't be used as an issue by anyone.

A lot of characters, especially interesting, is a great asset to a TV show... but only when those characters can grow over the course of more than one 38 episode season. For what it's worth, SPD did do a good job developing the characters in the time they had, although I would've liked to see more of the Kruger/Isiniya and Sam/Z thing.

I guess if the show was more "adult" they could've had Z try to come to terms with her feelings for Sam, which would've at least given us an episode that focused on Sam, and Sky's obsessive need to prove he's as good as his father. Ah well. That's what fanfics are for. :D It was still a great season and I really did enjoy it.

Plus Monica May's friggin hot!

Well power rangers has a small budget and they can only make 38 episodes.They even went over budget to do SPD.

Well the "rotating door casting policy" does help the show, because over time you are reusing plots for the same characters (such as Tommy losing his Green Powers over and over or getting turned evil) or having them end up in similar situations. Though also it benefits the show because the budget is not being used on paying actors more because they are on the second season. Now yes Turbo did have one and a half seasons to develop, but when you think about it that was like over night compared to some of the characters that had some before them, which was litterally years. One reason why Jason David Frank (Tommy) didn't appear in Dino Thunder much was because they did have to pay more per episode though the number of episodes in which he physically appeared in made his salary the same amount as the other actors though, that and the fact that he had a family and another career in which he had to take care of in America at the time.

S.P.D.'s budget went to mainly trying to make Auckland, New Zealand look so futuristic that it ate a lot of the budget. Also if you look at parts of the show where they are in the buildings (like parts of the Delta Base or at S.P.D. Headquarters) they have to lease the buildings to shoot in. Something they hardly did in other seasons (except for Dino Thunder which was really just the school and the "news station"). Oh and also because they were paying secondary actors who played Piggy and Boom as if they were primary actors. Oh and let's not forget all the CGI, explosions, and Kat's one time morph as Kat Ranger and Sky's stunt as Red Ranger.

Though even though it appears that Mystic Force will have nearly all of the Sentai villains, I hope there is at least one American villain such as with Ninja Storm with Lothor who is the only American villain in that season.

I probably used the wrong phrase, but what I meant by that was that every year the cast changes, meaning new characters that need to be developed, and new faces to get used to. One of the complaints I often hear about this is that you don't have time to get attached to a certain character before they're gone. Of course on the other hand, that's also said to be a benefit.

With Turbo, as you used below, they not only had the last half of Turbo to develop the new cast but also all of in Space. That was about what? 50 episodes, give or take?

Also, maybe I'm wrong but I think SPD might be the only PR season I've seen where the "sixth" ranger, Sam (through he was the seventh), didn't really have much to do most of the time I forgot he was even in the group and I don't think Nova counts being that she came at the last minute.

I think Alycia Purrott (Syd), the chick who played Morgana who escapes me at the moment, and Michelle Langstone (Kat) are the hottest of the S.P.D. group.

Though some other rangers who were hardly there included Zhane (because of lack of footage for the most part) and Ryan (because he was completely original), but at least even they were there when the rangers needed them and got TONS of developement in those short times.

Here's something interesting I found on the Power Rangers: Mystic Force article on Wikipedia.

Kelson Henderson (Boom in Power Rangers: SPD) will have a role in this series (making the third series in a row that he has been in at some point). His role is not known yet.

Antonia Prebble (Krista in Power Rangers Dino Thunder, and the voice of S.P.D. Nova Ranger in Power Rangers: SPD) will also have a role in Mystic Force as Claire, The Sorceresses' Apprentice. I wonder what his first PR series was?

Crisis Superman, considering we haven't seen the actual season its really unfair to judge a book by its cover (remember what Bridge said?), S.P.D. looked really awesome but ended up being a bust.

That doesn't usually happen, its usually the other way around with people hating a season after it airs. Also given the fact that fans turned against as it went on backs the "claim" it won't become loved by most. Now if you mean when the show as a whole is cancelled, maybe fans will like all seasons because they are no longer made. But don't get me wrong I like all seasons, but some I like better than others. The only ones I didn't really enjoy (when I became old enough to make what I liked or not unlike in the past where Power Rangers was just Power Rangers and liked them all) was really Season One and S.P.D.

The only thing I remember about those two was when Tori made a comment about Power Rangers only existing in comic books, which made everyone flip out thinking the universe had been restarted and everything (though I thought nothing of it). Dino Thunder was pretty much loved by everyone from start to finish the only thing that wasn't liked was Tommy's absence.

I just wanted to relate to you all that the entire crew, cast and staff's thanks for supporting S.P.D. in whatever way you chose. Both Ranger Board and Henshin Justice gave us all lots of laughs, intelligent insights and some good ideas...Though, unfortunately, we were usually way past the point of being able to implement them in the show. Mystic Force is well into production and I can promise you that I have learned a lot, will still bring fresh ideas to Power Rangers and try to filter in some of the past to acknowledge your history... Had a little breather where I could watch a few shows from past seasons (under your "gentle" urging me to do so).

As a unit, all of us involved with S.P.D. can say from the bottom of our hearts that we gave it our all and will continue to do so.

On a personal note I want to thank all of the shows supporters in whatever form you took. Some wrote rave reviews, some came to Los Angeles, Comicon or Youmacon to meet cast and staff. Hopefully you all enjoyed it as much as we did. And there were a samll minority of you who didn't like the show or didn't like the way I produced it...or both. But thank you for not being able to stay away. Love it... Hate it... You watch it then I've done my job.

I know I've been asked to come onto the board and defend the S.P.D. season. I have not and have no intention in doing so. I done my best. I've given two interviews. Three convention appearances where I've never avoided a question. I delivered a show that by a majority of the viewers and 100% of my cast, crew and network are proud of... My work is on film for you all to see and judge in whatever way you see fit. I have received threats. I have had personal attacks written about my family. I've had personal attacks made about my writing staff. I've made mistakes. I've hit home runs... Bottom line... I feel no need to defend or debate any of my choices to anyone but those I work for...And they haven't asked for me to do so.

Perhaps if you have questions for me or those I work with...Come to the next convention and we can answer them for you.

And, thanks to all the fans I've met and have corresponded with over the last year. I've enjoyed it all.

For anyone else that watched S.P.D. from the first episode to the season finale, did you notice that in the first few episode the A squad Red Ranger had a man's voice then suddenly in the Resurrection episode we find out it was actually a woman?

Also, when they're selecting actors to play the Rangers, are they actually picking people that have some background in martial arts, gymnastics, etc? Because I remember watching the old MMPR episodes and all six of them had some sort of background involving Martial arts and gymnastics.

Yes they still ask for some sort of back ground in Martial arts gymnastics. Also I just saw some new pics of the next season that will be hitting japn next year. The costumes are bad but the zords look cool thou and the theam seems to be treasure hunters.

No they don't really require you to have any training because they would perfer to really use stunt doubles for most of the stunts, and they give you about a week of basic skills before filming starts.

Those are actually stunt doubles, some people were very good at finding that out by freezing pictures of Kira and Ethan doing stunts during Dino Thunder and saw that they were actually Asian people doing the stunts with colored skin (for Ethan) and dressed in the character's clothes. The only person who has done his own stunts recently was Jason David Frank.

The actors go through a boot camp by the stunt coordinator. According to Brandon McLaren and Monica May it's pretty intensive.
