Do the actors actually don the suits, or are the actual Power Rangers played by stuntmen?

Pretty much ALL of the time, they are stuntmen. Jason David Frank (Tommy) has been known to be behind the suit sometimes, because he's a real martial artist (a super duper black belt, to boot). Also, the guy who played Eric on Time Force (the Quantum Ranger) was a stuntman on Power Rangers for a while, so he also did many of his stunts.

The old seasons will always have a place in my heart, but I like the new stuff as well. Even the not so new stuff like "In Space" trumped MMPR in terms of the villains actually having DEPTH.

Astronema was great, she was scary as well, i mean when i was younger of course lol.

But my favouite is Time Force it will always be. i loved it, Jen being like the leader at first but kind of Leader as well when Wes started to take on being the red ranger, the future, Ranski, Eric was good, the final was amazing, the storeis where good, and Jen, Alex and Wes love triangle lol, and i liked the team up with Wf.

I came back to regularly watching PR a few months ago, so I'm watching Mystic Force right now. I got through SPD a couple of weeks ago, and I'm finishing up Dino Thunder now. After Dino Thunder, I plan on going onto Time Force.

I liked SPD, it was really good. MF is ok really, i don't like it that everything is about Nick i have none a season to be so much about the red ranger, everytimte they get a new zord he gets his own one, the others have to share, all stories are about him, its annoying me really.

Yeah, but some of them had better credentials than he did. I mean, think about it:

He never defeated any of his enemies. Rita and Zedd? Nope. The Machine Empire? Still lingering (hence "Forever Red's" plot). He left before Divatox defeated the Turbo Rangers.

Tommy's the best fighter out of all of the Rangers. But really, when you think about it, he's never actually done anything significant.

They(Tommy and the others) defeated the machine empire(the main family and everything else). And it pretty much destroyed it, that was pretty significant.

The "only" remaining members were 5 beetle borg guys who couldn't do anything for years after the Empire was taken down. And when they did got beat down in less then a half an hour.

I actually liked the fact that none of the old villains were defeated. It lead to a huge climax in power rangers Space, which had a great ending. My fav character was Ecliptor. A total badass.

SPD had a lot of potential for a more mature feel with its police-esque concept. The overall execution, however, was a bit flat (especially the villains).

Mystic Force had the potential, as well, but right now it's looking like a blah season. The characters are just not very well crafted.

Although I eventually hated the Turbo season, the Turbo movie is, like, 999 times better than the MMPR Movie. It looks and feels like an epic version of the show, which is a good thing, and it TIES into the flippin' show. What a concept. :D

A pair of recommendations

In Space - Best villains in the entire franchise, a great Red Ranger, and the Space theme was a welcome change for the franchise at the time. Also, the best ending of any season.

Dino Thunder - The most complete season during this Disney era. Great characters, some classic episodes (like "Fighting Spirit"), and just an overall good feel. The first set in high school since the originals.

Time Force great stroies tough pink ranger who is the leader at the start and sometimes thoughout and there from the furture just check it out, its my favouite.

The DT finale was really really great. It wasn't "epic", but it did a phenominal job of closing everything up.

I literally just finished watching the hidden episode, and it's just a eight minute "preview" of SPD with Ethan and Kira. Download it off PRE just for a little nostalgia factor, I guess. :D
