tried the game on my other comp, video card is fine, but didn't know that someone transfered the ram to this comp, so now I'm still screwed, the other comp only has 128ram, and this one had 300+ram. Each one is missing something. :mad:

I played both EQ2 and WoW. The main reason I switched is because of the crafting system. When I died making leather in EQ2 I said to myself, "I died making leather? You have to be $#%^&*@ kidding me." But as far as gameplay goes, WoW is on top. PvP action is great. The guests are really worth the time you put in them, because of the XP and the rewards. EQ2 may look real, but I thought I palyed games to get away from real. Any way I still play WoW, and will as long as Blizz keeps up the good work.

This is true, exept for the solo players. Everything you needed to do you had to have a group for. I, myself, like to solo. WoW is the best for this. It is far more rewarding, in my opinion than EQ2.

Let me guess, you're all lvl 60 Paladins? I'm sorry, but it still wouldn't happen. Not to mention your lack of group pvp and raid experiance since you play on a PvE server. :o

You would be surpised how we will work on PvP. We are already a great team no matter what. And each of us is good with our PvP skills. Kierna is easily the best Theif/Rogue character I've EVER seen. Rayah knows how to play a mage, Myth is undefeated in PvP, Pantam is a definate force to be reckoned with when she has her pet out. Honestly, I might very well be the weakest link. But since I wont have to work with Aggro control against a Human Character, I think we will survive. ;)

And yes, we do have mounts. Horses, Robo Ostriches, Tigers, Rams are for the Alliance.

i will have this game by this weekend i dont like pvp if its anything like uo's pvp its just annoying when your out in the forest killing stuff and you get a couple guys hiding in the bushes waiting for you to be low on health then they jump on ya with poisoned this and that.i prefer just to have places you can go like an arena for pvp.
or the duel system in eq even that sucks when you have cheaters that have a cleric or something that keeps healing your foe (but that doesnt happen to often anymore)

also being a ranger i dont like the way kiting works in eq2 i cant multi kite like i could in eq1 and find it harder to move around while in combat mode but maybe ill eventualy get used to it im only lvl 18 predator atm

Well, I say it sucks because I'm only lvl 33 right now. If I were 60 I probably wouldn't care.

As such I've seen a noticeable increase in me getting killed as I'm trying to complete quests. Over. And over. And over.

I spend more time running to my corpse than playing the game.

Meh, there should be some type of dishonor associated with killing players far below your own level.

I've only being playing on it a week, and its really good. Although, I have two characters who I think are a bit weak really, can you give me any advice? I have a level 14 night elf huntress, and a level 9 undead warrior.

Your attribute points for strength etc. are being distributed automatically and you only have to worry about choosing the right skills you're planning to use. And getting some new armor or weaponry to boost your stength and defense also isn't that much of a problem.

The only thing that matters is that you know how to play your class. To know what each skill does and the proper time/situation to use them.

Call it an "Artificer" and it'd play simular in nature to the golem necros of Diablo 2, Hunters and Shamans. You'd level up to get different "Dolls", which would allow you to use certain elements after you do the quests to achieve said quests. Level 10 could use Fire elements, combined with maybe white items to make your Golem, which you could keep even after it died. As your level progresses, and you get more dolls, you'd be able to use better base items to make your golems. Whatever element you make, you'd need those essense items, but whatever piece of equipment you give would affect the stats of your golem [simular to the Iron Golem in Diablo 2--More on this later].

Creating your golem would be fun, too. As I stated above, you'd end up getting more dolls as you leveled, so that by 20, you'd have all your dolls and could really start experimenting with artificing. You'd have to use an elemental item [for the moment, let's just say Essesences]. You'd need a Fire Essense and a white item to make a Fire Golem. I like the golem idea, I've always been a fan of pet classes. Might be awhile though before they introduce a new class, considering how they're still trying to balance out the current ones.

Hey bud. I read the game forums everyday and noticed your WoW SS's. I have been looking for a good UI but really haven't found anything. Nurfed is super outdated, Cosmos is alright, Insomniax had about 2342324342 addons with it and I'm just kind of confused about alot of stuff. I really don't want to have addons I don't need ( I will be playing a rogue ).


I have the Rogue specific addons I should be using bookmarked, but I really liked the rest of your setup. The windows especially for group and whatnot looked very nice and clean. If possible I would move the location of the action keys and maybe the group bar so it doesn't scroll across the screen, add the Titan bar to the bottom and maybe a few other things. Other then that I thing everything looks great. If you could give me some tips/recommendations for your UI if it works/will work in 1.12 I would really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch!

Considering my rogue is under 20, I don't know the class all to well. All I can really suggest is QuickWeaponSwap. Basically handy for quickly switching which weapons you are using. If one weapon does more damage with an ability or you need a dagger quickly to do a backstab. As I said, I don't know rogues.

Originally it was just a server thing but now that skill quality and such has been moving across servers Horde seems to do pretty well at AB. Alliance have a tactical glitch advantage with AV and WSG I havn't kept tabs on.

Not really. They can fight each other, but that's about it. Alliance and Horde speak different languages. I don't now why there isn't a translator that an engineer can create though....

Because it would make leaking info that much easier. Now, there should be books that teach you the various languages your faction speaks. Like 3 books of Darnassiun and such.

The game isn't about raiding anymore. 2.0 changed that completely. Raiding for items is useless when the GM sets or HWL sets are just about as strong and are MUCH faster to get than T1, then 2, then 3.

Yeah, my servers AB and WSG are 50+ each. It's really a pain in my ass getting my new mage HWL Mageblade + Tome Of Arcanna (70AB tokens total) when alliance loses every ****ing time.

Though it doesn't matter. My account got suspended for 72 hours on some bull**** call. Apparntally going "/1 Actually, only mormons get into heaven" is a 3hr suspension offense, and then when asked about it in gen chat and repling with "/1 I got suspended from some bogus remark I made about mormons getting into heaven" warrents the 72 hr.

Troll Hunters are the easiest to get to 60, you can get them in 4days /played.

I never understood why people reroll when XPacs come out like TBC. TBC is an endgame xpac, so getting the most out of the game would mean haveing a good geared lvl 60 ready to go on launch.

After talking with some of my close friends and fellow guild members I'll be creating a Blood Elf Paladin. Simply because they need me to do it. I'm thinking my guild may split when the exspansion hits....thats the feeling I get anyway.

I'm of the school where I like to play every class, at least to twenty, so that I have field knowledge of what they're capable of, how to do it, and how to work around it. So far, I've done that with every class except Druid [which right now, is a Bank toon], Warlock [I was sick of it by level 8], and Mage. I've had the most fun with my Warrior, Priest, and Shaman, and Hunter [though I think part of the fun with the Priest was enchanting, and knowing that when I take a PUG I know that the healing isn't gonna suck ass].

I just can't wait to get back into the game. I know for a fact that the new races will be super busy....but oh well. If you can deal with Orgrimmar on the weekends, you can deal with anything.

It's extremely easy to get to 60, and then you spend half your life trying to get 40 guys together so you can raid a dungeon to MAYBE get a piece of one of your epix. Sounds pretty lame to me. I don't think any game should make you have the same armour as everyone else just to stay competitive. Hell, at least saturate the world with more and different pieces of armour that don't take 3 hours to get to from a dungeon.

And that's why I'll be playing WAR... :dry:

Wait until you hit 60-70. There will be hordes of people with the same armour set in your class once you start questing for 'epix'. That's a sign of a horribly put together MMO, but whatever.

And I have a reason for bashing on it. It's fun for the first 60 levels, which takes little to no time getting.. and then you spend weeks at a time once you hit the top levels trying to get single pieces of armour. Maybe they're changing it with BC, but otherwise it just seems ridiculous to me. You really just can't compete in PvP (which their form of is found seriously lacking) unless you have the best armour. Doesn't matter how good you are, unless you have the best armour around (which almost everyone is after) you'll get your ass handed to you. You could be a guy in purples, and a guy will have his epix and just blast you to hell because your armour doesn't match up to his. It's lame.
